Group suppression based on other group results

How do I suppress an upper level Group based on, no results in its sub group level.
Example:
GroupA Part Id (suppress when groupB has no results)
GroupB  Operation  (This group uses a suppression formula itself)
Sound simple I know but I can't figure it out.
Shirley

I need to suppress at GroupB  do to a conflict in the selection formula overriding other formulas.
I was able to bring the suppressed field up to that level and suppress based on that.
Tx

  • ACS 5.3 Group Mapping based on AD group membership

    Hi,
I am configuring a new ACS 5.3 system. Part of the rules is that I want to match the users specific AD group membership, and match appropriatly to an identity group.
What i'm trying to do is say that if the user is a member of the AD Group (G-CRP-SEC-ENG) then associate them with the Identity Group SEC-ENG. The under the access service, authorization portion, i assign shell profiles and command sets based on Identity Group.
It seems that the ACS server will not match the AD Group for the user, and it will match the Default of teh Group Mapping portion of the policy every time.
    I tried several configuration choices from : AD1:ExternalGroups contains any <string showing in AD>, AD1:memberOf <group>.
Is there something special i need to do in the Group Mapping Policy to get it to match and active directory group and result in assigning the host to an Identity Group?
    Thank you,
    Sami

Ok, my case is like this.
I use ACS 5.3 for VPN authentication, using AD and an external RSA for token authentication (2 factor authentication)
I didn't add all the VPN users in the ACS, because it will be troublesome, the users authentication will be managed by AD and RSA server.
In some cases where we need to restrict a group of user to only access certain resources, downloadable ACL is used.
Following the Cisco docs, i manage to get downloadable ACL works when the authorization profile matching criteria is username, but when i change the matching criteria to Identity group, the downloadable ACL won't work.
I have a case with Cisco engineer now and still in the middle to sort things out.
The advice from the Cisco engineer is to have the Access Service set to Internal User instead of RSA server, but that will require us(the admin) to import all the VPN users into the ACS database.
Wondering whether there is a fix for this.
    Thanks.

  • Running query based on other query result

    Hi Again Friends.
first of all i am very much thankful for members who sent me prompt response and been helping for last 2 days.I am again with query, maybe a lame one.
I want to run a query based on record return from previous query.FOr instance i have query
    Select sum(marks) from studentMarks,student_id where course_Id=4 and student_Id
    IN
(Select StudentId from Student where dept_id=3)
the courseID and studentID are being repeated in the above table
now I want to show Student Names with the marks Obtained and who belong to dept_id=3,i want to run other query to get Name based on StudentId resutned from previous one.
Is there anyway to do this in oracle to save result in some resultSe and use it later?
    Thankyou

    Do you mean something like:
    Select sum(marks), S.StudentId, S.StudentName
    from StudentMarks M
    ,      Student          S
    where S.course_Id=4
    and  M.Student_id = S.StudentId
    and S.student_Id
    IN
(Select StudentId from Student where dept_id=3)
    group by StudentId, StudentName

  • Search Results based on other Search Results

    Scenario -
I have a BDC content type which has a custom page for end users to view the data in the content type.  This page has a search result we part that displays the details of the content type.  There are other search result web parts that show related
    documents to the content type.
We are able to use the query string to pass in properties of the content type that will filter the search results to documents based on the passed value.  Example: Employee content type has custom page that lists the details about that employee, and
when passing the department in the url to the page, a list of department specific documents can be displayed.
There are several attributes of the "Employee" content type that we would like to filter for specific documents with.  How can I access these attributes with out passing them through the query string in the url?
I would rather not have to pass all these elements in the url Employee.aspx?employeeid={0}&department={1}&state={2}&employeetype={3} ect...  I would be better to just pass the employee id, and the page be able to get all the information
it needs for the Search Results/Content Search web parts.
Any thoughts would be helpful.  We are currently looking at the Product Catalog items, but this doesn't seem to fix our issue where we need to filter the results based on attributes of the current contextual content type.
    Thank You
    Shane

I have been doing some more research, and I just cannot seem to find a viable option.  Can I use the Page.<FieldName>, or ListItem.<property>?  I am not sure, and no body seems to be doing anything like this?  Can it be done with
javascript on the client, without having to rebuild the Display Template functionality for the results?
So many questions and no one seems to have an answer?

  • How can I move all my contacts into a single email group from all the other group?

I've got several email accounts, but my contacts are spread across them. Of course, when I access or search my contacts they do all get searched together, but I need to delete an account and this will result in me losing many contacts.
So before I do this, I want to consolidate all my contacts into my main personal email group account. But short of doing them one by one, I can't find a way and I have several thousand contacts at risk of being lost.
    Can anyone advise me?

Go to your Contacts on your Mac - if more than one pick the most accurate; delete any contacts you don't want. Select all the contacts, and from the File menu choose 'Export...'>'Export vCard'. Save the resultant file safely: it will be your 'master' list.
Now delete all the contacts from whichever device has the most in it. Sync with iCloud. If necessary repeat with different Macs. The result should be that the deletions sync to iCloud and in the end you finish up with empty Contacts lists everywhere.
Now you can import your saved file to one of your Macs. Make sure you import it under 'iCloud' not 'On My Mac'. Then it should propagate iCloud and any other devices. Keep the saved file at least until you are satisfied that all is in order.

  • How to hide screen group tab based on account group in XD01/02

    Hi Folks,
I have added two screen group( custom tabs like 'general data' ) in XD01 screen. Based on the input parameter 'account group' I want to hide(supress) one of the tab. How can I read the account group no?
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi,
Can you try to access the field like below. Just try to access the account group from main program in the method.
    field-symbols: <lf_KTOKD>  type KTOKD,
       data:               L_KTOKD type KTOKD.
    assign ('(SAPFM02D)KNA1-KTOKD') to <LF_KTOKD>.
    if sy-subrc = 0.

  • Group Conditoin based on Customer Group

    Hi Experts,
I have used a Group Condition feature of Pricing. (Group Condition tick mark in Transaction - V/06)
Now actual use of this Group Condition is somewhat like mentioned below as per the F1 Help.
"For a group condition to be effective, the items must belong to a group. You can freely define the group to meet the needs of your own organization. The items can, for example, all belong to the same material group."
Now I want to know that what are the different groups which are considered for applying Group Condition concept.
I want to apply this Group Condition concept for the line items with the same customer group. (material group can be different for them).
Is it possible? If yes, how can I set / configure it? If not, is there any other alternative for that (like GrpCond.Routine)?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    HP

    Hi Krishna,
    Thannks a lot for reply.
Actually I am aware about VOFM and how to write Routines also. My problem here is that I dont know what Structure or Internal Table should I play with in the Routine.
For Example if I write a routine for a normal pricing we use fields XKWERT, XKWART or Structure XKOMV with field KWERT, KWART etc.
So in the same way what should I change or use or update to change the Group Condition Check base?
Like as in F1 Help, it is mentioned...
"For a group condition to be effective, the items must belong to a group. You can freely define the group to meet the needs of your own organization. The items can, for example, all belong to the same material group."
Here if the material group (KONDM) is same, it the group condition will work. That means somewhere I need to replace KONDM by KDGRP in the Routine. Where do I find this and replace KONDM by KDGRP?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind Regards,

i have the layout like this
    image:!C:\Documents and Settings\madhu.rn\Desktop\layout.jpg!
    main group data table
i had inserted another table for inner group data.
again main group data in main table.
2)But here i don't want print header info again in second page.
3)i am not getting the line numbers in inner group in ascending order ,i am getting in descending order. how to get them in decending order
    4) if lines record are going to second page i don't want to print subtotal, tax, total (these are main group data)in first page, instead of this

Total:page 1 of 2. like that i want to print in first page.
i want them to print in second page.

  • How to stop users not in any group and users from other groups accessing sites they have no permission to access on top link bar?

    Hello Community
Using SharePoint 2010 Server and UI, a web application
    was created with subsites.
The subsites have unique permissions and Owner, Member
    and Visitor groups.
The problem is however even if a user does not exist
in a group that user can access the top link bar/navigation
    bar and its sub sites.
Also any user in any group can access any top link bar/navigation bar and its subsites.
How do you enforce that if a user is not in a group
they are denied access the top link bar/navigation bar and its
    subsites?
        Thank you
        Shabeaut

If you are using the built in SharePoint navigation links, SharePoint will automatically hide links to sites that a given user doesn't have access to.
The problem is, it sounds to me like you have a fixed top link bar that lists the content and if a user doesn't have access, the link still shows up.
You may want to look at how the top link bar was encapsulated in the design of the page.  If it isn't wrapped in the permissions provider code, that could be the problem.
I trust that answers your question...
    Thanks
    C

  • Customising Serach Results based on User Groups

    Hi,
Is it possible to customize the set of products an end user sees based on the group it belongs to?
I mean we have set of clients belonging to different groups each having their own product catalog, so based on the group, search
results have to be very specific. Is there a way to achieve this w/o having separate endeca instances?
    Thanks.

You typically do this by translating custom catalogs and price lists into dimensions and catalog-specific properties so that the product set can be pre-filtered before applying search. I don't believe User Profiles will really give you what you want.
The way I typically think about it is that User Profiles influence the way in which users are presented with content but it doesn't have an effect on the content itself. We've worked on the largest custom catalog project undertaken on the platform (back in our days at Endeca) so feel free to reach out if you need more information.
    Thanks,

  • Group by based on sum of a column

    dear all
i have a scenario that I think can't be achieved using SQL alone.
I need to group by a column while sum of another column is > 25. here is some sample data, (assuming it is sorted descending by another date field)
    REGO S_NUM HRS QTY
    ==== ===== === ===
    VHXB S1 9 15
    VHXB S1 10 10
    VHXB S1 7 25

    VHXA S1 12 9
    VHXA S1 18 18
    VHXA S1 11 6
    VHXA S1 12 24
The above data should be grouped by REGO, S_NUM and the result should look like below,
    VHXB S1 26 50 (first 3 rows since the sum(HRS is greater than 25))
    VHXB S1 32 27 (next 2 rows)
    VHXA S1 30 25

    Welcome to the forum!

i have a scenario that I think can't be achieved using SQL alone.Sure you can do that in pure SQL. Below is a solution using CONNECT BY. Another approach involves MODEL, and yet another uses a recursive WITH clause (new in Oracle 11.2).
I need to group by a column while sum of another column is > 25. here is some sample data, (assuming it is sorted descending by another date field)Which column has to add up to more that 25? It looks like hrs, but don't make people guess.

    VHXA S1 12 9

    VHXA S1 11 6
    VHXA S1 12 24

    VHXB S1 26 50 (first 3 rows since the sum(HRS is greater than 25))
    VHXB S1 32 27 (next 2 rows)Did you mean 33, not 32?
    VHXA S1 30 25
VHXA S1 37 52So, if there's a group at the end of any rego/s_num section, and it totals 25 or less, you want to ignore that last group. Right?
any ideas how to write a pl/sql code for this ?The previous answer is right. Whevenver you have a problem, post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for your sample data (relevant columns only: in this case, the DATE column that determines the order is relevant) and the results you want from that data, formatted, within \ tags.
Explain how you get those results from that data.
If you can show the problem using commonly available tables (such as those in the scott or hr schemas) then you don't need to post any sample data; just the results and the explanation.
Your problem is very similar to the following problem, based on the scott.emp table.  The following query:SELECT     deptno, ename, sal, comm
    FROM     scott.emp
    ORDER BY deptno, ename
produces this output:` DEPTNO ENAME SAL COMM
    10 CLARK 2450
    10 KING 5000
    10 MILLER 1300
    20 ADAMS 1100
    20 FORD 3000
    20 JONES 2975
    20 SCOTT 3000
    20 SMITH 800
    30 ALLEN 1600 300
    30 BLAKE 2850
    30 JAMES 950
    30 MARTIN 1250 1400
    30 TURNER 1500 0
    30 WARD 1250 500
Now say we want to group consecutive rows (where "consecutive" means in order by ename, which we'll assume is unique within each deptno) such that each group has a total sal of over 3000.  That is, we want these results:` DEPTNO ENAME TOTAL_SAL TOTAL_COMM
    10 CLARK 7450
    20 ADAMS 4100
    20 JONES 5975
    30 ALLEN 4450 300
    30 JAMES 3700 1400
Here's one way to get those results:WITH     got_analytics     AS
         SELECT     deptno, ename, sal, comm
         ,     ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY deptno
                        ORDER BY      ename
                        )      AS r_num
,     SUM (sal) OVER ( PARTITION BY deptno
                        ORDER BY      ename
                        )      AS running_sal
         FROM scott.emp
    ,     got_grps     AS
         SELECT     l.deptno
         ,     l.ename
         ,     l.r_num
         ,     SUM (h.sal)     AS total_sal
         ,     SUM (h.comm)     AS total_comm
         ,     COUNT (*)     AS cnt
         FROM     got_analytics     l
         JOIN     got_analytics     h ON h.deptno = l.deptno
                        AND h.running_sal BETWEEN l.running_sal
                                  AND l.running_sal + 3000
                                                 + h.sal
                                                 - l.sal
         GROUP BY l.deptno
         ,      l.ename
         ,     l.r_num
    SELECT deptno, ename, total_sal, total_comm
    FROM     got_grps
    WHERE     total_sal     > 3000
    START WITH     r_num     = 1
    CONNECT BY     r_num     = PRIOR r_num + PRIOR cnt
         AND     deptno     = PRIOR deptno
    ORDER BY deptno, ename
Briefly, how it works is that the sub-query got_grps calculates, for each row, what the totals would be if a group started with that row.  For example, in deptno=10, we know a group will start with CLARK, because taht's the first row, but we won't know if another group will begin with KING or MILLER.  Got_grps assumes there will be such a group, and counts the number of rows in the group.  Then, in the main query, we use that count to find where the second (and later) groups actually do begin.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using.  The query above works should work in Oracle 9.1 (and higher); I tested it using version 10.2.0.1.0. • How to group rows based on a formula value

    Hi experts,
I have a query that returns a a char row (country) and a couple of columns, "Duration of Process in days" and "Counter of nº process done", each a calculated formula KF .
What I would like is to group the results based on formula KF1 results ""Duration of Process in days".
For example: from this query result
Country  -   Duration of Process in Days  -   Counter of nº process done
    ES                      1                                         3
    PT                      3                                         2
    UK                      4                                         3
    IT                       1                                          5
    US                      6                                         2
    FR                      1                                         3
    DE                      4                                         5
get the following: aggregated by all possible formula values "Duration of Process in Days"
Duration of Process in Days  -   Counter of nª process
                    1                                       11   (353)
                    3                                         2
                    4                                         8    (3+5)
                    6                                         2
    Is this possible??
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Best regards,
    Enric

    Hi Vikram,
my problem is that the "Duration in days" cannot be a characteristic derived in the loading process, as its value depends (is calculated) based on several user's selections done in the variable pop-up screen when executing the report.
    Thanks again for your reply.

  • Viewing the mrp run output based on mrp groups

Hi, please advise how to view the mrp run result based on mrp groups? also advise how to run mrp on the basis of mrp groups?
    thanks.

    Hi,
Can you use MRP Controller instead MRP Group. Because you have option to view MRP result by MRP Controller in MD05.
And you can execute MRP based on MRP Contoller by using user exit M61X0001 in MD01.

  • Spliting a table in to two table based on the groups in SSRS

    Hi,
I am trying to a split a rows accross two tables based on a group.
So far I have added a list and added a row group and grouped it using lineof business
Inside my list i have two identical tables so i can display the data
for the first table i have set the row visibility as follows: where LineOfbusiness1 is the  groupname of my list group
    =RowNumber(Nothing) >= (IIf(CountRows("LineOfBusiness1")\2 = 1, CountRows("LineOfBusiness1")/2, (CountRows("LineOfBusiness1")/2)+1))
and for the second table in the i have set the row visibility as follows
    =RowNumber(Nothing)< (IIf(CountRows("LineOfBusiness1")\2 = 1,CountRows("LineOfBusiness1")/2, (CountRows("LineOfBusiness1")/2)+1))
this set up works fine for the first group but it doesnt display the data the way i want for the subsequent groups.
so how do i have the table start over after each group... plus in my group i have specified to do a page break after everygroup...
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Karen

    Visakh,
Thanks for answering.... a sample for the data will look like
    dataset----
    create table #dataset
    Code varchar(5),
    Name varchar(200),
    Lineofbusiness int,
    Statename varchar(10),
    typed int,
    description varchar(2000)
    insert into #dataset
    select 45111,abc,1,AL,4500,policies
    insert into #dataset
    select 45111,abc,1,AL,2500,vehiles
    insert into #dataset
    select 45111,abc,1,AL,3,drivers
    insert into #dataset
    select 45000,bca,2,AL,4500,policies
    insert into #dataset
    select 45000,bca,2,AL,500,house
    insert into #dataset
    select 45000,bca,2,AL,40,theft
When i display the data i want it to be
    Line of business 1
    policies 4500 drviers 3
    vehiles 2500
    Line of business 2
    Policies 4500 theft 40
    House 500
but right now the for lineofbusiness 1 its showing the correct way for but the line 2 everything is being displayed in the right.
    Thanks
