Grouping of Plant for PRD

Hi ,
Can any body suggest some thing on below business scenario.
As per standard SAP.
E.g We have Placed one P.O to Vendor V1, and received the Goods and DoneIR , If latter we do Subsequent Debit / Credit, system will post the
accounting entries based on available stock.
If stock is there, It will take Cr/Dr to stock and DR/Cr to Vendor for
Subsequent Credit / Subsequent Debit.
Here, we have received the goods e.g in Plant XX10, Now we have done
Intra company stock transfer to let us say Plant YY10.
Latter we got Subsequent Dr/ Cr from Vendor for Plant XX10 against the P.O.
As the stock is not there in Plant, it is bringing PRD account.
Is there any exist in standard, which will, check the group of Plant (
e.g XX10 and YY10 ) and if stocks is there it shouldn't post to PRD.
It should hit to stock account of available stock in the group of plant.
Yours valuable input will be highly appreciated.
Regards
Sunami

IT depends on how this process is to be done. 3 Ways are possible which are listed out below.
Scenario - 1:- both the plants in Same company code. so you will not encounter PRD account.
Scenario - 2 :- Use Valuation Grouping code, group together both plants under 1 valuation grouping code, when you do material transfer between these 2 plants, the Accounting Entries would not take place.
Scenario - 3:- Use a Z program and User Exit for posting to PRD of a different area.
Thanks

how can i restricts sales office, sales groups and plant for the different user.
there is no authority check at inquiry, quotation, sales order
    please guide me
    thanks

    Dear varada rajan
If I understood your explanation correctly, while creating sale order via VA01, input options for Sales Office and Sales Group are not flowing and you want to flow these fields in VA01.  Am I right ??
If so, go to VOV8, select your sale order type and execute.  There you can see a field "Screen sequence grp." under the tab "Transaction flow".  There maintain AU and save.
Now go to VA01 and check.

Please send the Report for monthly sales(sales office wise, sales group wise, plant wise)  with T.CODE.,

    Hi
As per my knowledge there is no Standard Report in SAP based on sales office, sales group. and plant.
You may create your own report using MC18,MC21 and MC24.... Otherwise ask your ABAPer's help...

  • Error MIGO AA629 Balance for transac type group 10 negative for the area 01

    Hi
I have the following principal case in the PRD (version 60.0 ECC):
Active 25000549 number was discharged from the transaction MIGO 18/12/2009 USD 19295.22 and began to depreciate on 01.01.2010.
On 22.04.2010 the vendor issues a credit note USD 11626.96 therefore created the Purchase Order number 9900000903 and when it will account for the transaction MIGO get the error message AA629 ( Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for the are). In transaction MIGO are using the kind of movement 161.
SAP looked in and found a related note the following: 497297, 541200, 547233 but they refer to version 4.7 and 4.6C and make no reference to version 6.0.
The error detail is as follows:
Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for the area 01
    Message no. AA629
    Asset affected: 000025000549-0000
    Diagnosis
With the transaction entered, the balance for the transactions in group 10 in area 01 will be negative in this fiscal year. However, the balance of transaction type group 10, according to its definition, must be positive in each fiscal year.
    System Response
    The system rejects this posting.
    Procedure
Check the transaction type, the amount and the fiscal year in your posting. If you want to post a credit memo to an acquisition from the previous year, then use a transaction type for a retirement. If necessary, you can change balance rules after talking with your SAP consultant.
My questions are: someone has thought of something similar? how to solve? must implement the foregoing notes?
Thank you very much for your kind help

    Hi,
    notes 20347 and .302756.
Try to change following customizing temporarily to 160:
    IMG->FI-AA->Transactions->Determine default transaction types for
         internal transactions->Acquisition from goods receipt
Another alternative could be to TEMPORARILY change the definition  of transaction type group 10 so that it allows negative values.
    139899   AA629 when posting MR01/MRHR/MIRO invoice receipt
AA629 is raised when the transactions per transaction type group in one year are negative in balance and the definition of the  transaction type group only allows positive values  (that means TABWG-VZJSAL is '+'). This is the case for transaction
type group 10. After posting transaction I recommend to set transaction   group 10 back to its original definition.

  • Seprate plant for export & local sales?

    Hi Friends,
    1. If I have two seprate excise registration number for Local and Export sales; do i need to create seprate plants for this situation?
If yes/no why? and what configuration is neede keeping CIN in mind.
    2. The different plants are neede then it will require seprate material code for local and export scenario?
    3. If company have multiple service tax registration ID; will this affect the org structure in terms of plant creation?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Amrish Purohit

    Dear Amrish
Yes though the manufacturing address remains same in some cases, Management will declare as two plants,
    - one for normal sales process and
    - another one for EOU.
So you can consider local sales from normal plant and export sales from EOU plant.  In that case, yes you have to create two seperate plants with different Excise Group and Series Groups.
From Excise point of view, the manufacturer will have to declare what are all the products they are manufacturing and from which plant.  So depending upon this, we have to address in SAP.
    thanks

  • Difference between MRP group and plant parameters

    hai friends,
please let me know, what is the main difference between the MRP group and plant parameters?,
what are the extra activities or features with one, when compare to the other?.
    Edited by: Mourya.v on Sep 22, 2010 6:36 AM

    Dear Mourya,
Why to assign MRP group? - If planning for each plant is not specific enough for your purposes and you would like to assign
control parameters that differ from the control parameters defined for the plant to certain material groups.
1.For all materials without an MRP group, the system uses the plant parameters that is the settings present in OPPQ, or the
entries in the initial screen of the planning run.
2.For all materials with an MRP group, the system uses the parameters recorded in the MRP group that is the settings in OPPR.
3.The MRP group is an organizational object that can be used to allocate special control parameters for planning to a group of
materials. You can maintain MRP groups if planning control per plant is not precise enough for your requirements and you want
to allocate certain material groups different control parameters from the plant parameters. For this purpose, MRP groups are
defined with these specific control parameters and are assigned to the material in the material master record (MRP 1 screen).
4.The MRP group, groups material from the material requirements planning point of view to allocate them control parameters for
planning. The control parameters include the strategy group, the planning horizon and the creation indicator for the planning run.

  • How can i set up a distribtuion group on mail for iPhone?

    Hello,
I was able to set up a distribution group on my "icloud.com" account.  I used my contacts and created a group and then went to my mail and was able to send it to that group.
My next step is to do that on my iPhone 5.
I see the group under the contacts in settings that i have created, however, it is not recognized on my phone as a distribution group.
    Thanks for any help,
    Kyle

You can't. "All contacts" means just what it says.

  • More than one Planning plant for a maintenance plant.?

hi Friends, can we have more than one Planning plant for a maintenance plant. Is there any advantage or disadvantage of this condition.?

    Hi,
You can have Maintenance Planning Plant & Maintenance Plant in any of the follwing ratios, i.e., 1:1 / 1:n / n:1. Actually in Maintenance, there can be electrical & mechanical maintenance.
In the case of 1:1 relation, all the maintenance activities (Electrical & Mechanical) will be planned by single Maintenance Planning Plant for single Maintenance Plant.
In case of 1:n, single maintenance planning plant will do the plaaning of maintenance activities for all the maintenance plants.
In case of n:1, electrical activity will be planned by one Maintenance planning plant & mechanical activities by another planning plant for a single Maintenance plant.
Defining Maintenance planning plant & maintenance plant in different relations will help us in generating different kind of reports.
I am looking forward your reply.

How do I create a group in contacts for texting to several people?

Create your group on your computer, and sync it on your iPhone. But you cannot use this group for texting. You need an application for this. Easy Group is a free one I have developped.

  • Availability Check at Multiple Plants for the Sales Order line Item.

    Hi Friends,
We are having two plants, Plant A and Plant B. Plant A is used to issue the orders to the vendors and stock them, while Plant B is used to manufacture the Product and Stock.
When we create the sales order, we want to check the Current Stock Plus Incomming Purchase order stock for plant A and also check current stock plus Production orders in plant B.
for ex if the current stock is 100 in Plant A and No physical stock in Plant B but there are some production orders for 400 Qty which will be ready in 1 week.
If i create a sales order for 500 qty which is scheduled for delivery 10 days later.  then we want to commit to the customer ( Looking at both the plants stock situation )  the system should check the stock availability for both the plants and automatically create two different line items , Line item 1 for plant A and line item 2 for plant b.
I know there is a user exit for Multiple plant selection USEREXIT_PLANT_SELECTION  in program RV03VFZZ. The Description of the USer exit says ( This user exit may be used to provide a list of plants for which availability is to be checked)  But we have never used this one. Will this user exit do exactly what i want ??
Did any of you, have used the above User exit in your implementations ? If so please let me know whats the purpose of this user exit
    Your reply is much appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards
    Srinivas

    Hi
I dont know about the userexit which you are referring about
But this is not available in R3 The system makes a Availability Check only in the plant which has got determined in the item details shipping tab and stops there
The same is available in APO
If there are 2 plants say 1000 and 2000
In sales order the plant determined is 1000 and there is no stock
    In R3 system stops there
But in APO  system checks the plant 2000 and if stocks are available it creates an STO in the background automatically from 2000 to 1000 if configured accordingly
Even if the material is maintained in 10 plants the system will make a  Availability Check at all 10 plants and act accordingly

  • Grouping of PO for same supplier

    Colleagues,
I think some of you have already faced this situation. For some categories, PO automatic creation occurs when a contract exists. That's fine for the purchaser but
the supplier is getting several PO within a short time periods and would like to get a single PO.
I am not sure about how to maintain the automatic creation of PO and group the POs for a certain period. I assume that some developments are needed and my concern is
how to deactivate automatic creation for item level for contract.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Gerardo,
How about customizing the Sourcing Option ?
SRM -> Cross Appli -> Sourcing -> Define Sourcing Product Categories
    <b>Sourcing is never carried out</b>
This is the default setting at delivery.SAP Enterprise Buyer does not transfer any items to the purchaser's sourcing application.
    <b>Sourcing is always carried out</b>
SAP Enterprise Buyer transfers each item to the purchaser's sourcing application.
<b>Sourcing is carried out for items without a source of supply</b>
SAP Enterprise Buyer transfers all requirements that have multiple sources of supply, of which none are assigned, to the purchaser's sourcing application. Once you have selected a source of supply in the shopping cart, the item does not go to the sourcing application and a PO is created.
<b>Sourcing via automatic bid invitation for items without a source of supply</b>
SAP Enterprise Buyer creates a bid invitation for all requirements that do not have a source of supply.
<b>Automatic requirement grouping; sourcing for items without assigned source of supply</b>
If a source of supply is assigned to a requirement, the report Automatic Grouping of Requirements for POs and Bid Invitations automatically attempts to create a PO from several requirements. If it is unable to do this, the requirement is displayed so that you can assign it manually in the sourcing application. Once you have assigned a source of supply, you can submit the requirement to the report.

  • How do I SAVE a group in Skype for Winows 8?

I use the group call feature for a weekly staff meeting.  I have 9 participants, but each week I have to set up the group call from scratch each time.  I am on Skype for Windows 8.  I cannot find a way to save a group so that I don't have to search through my contacts every week and set it up each time. Could use some help here. Thanks

I don't understand why Skype developers cannot let the user SAVE a Contact Group permanently in the Contacts List, so that all we have to do is select it as a "contact" to make a group call.  Adding contacts to a group call individually every time is a total pain!  Cant you guys fix this please?
