Seprate plant for export & local sales?

Hi Friends,
1. If I have two seprate excise registration number for Local and Export sales; do i need to create seprate plants for this situation?
If yes/no why? and what configuration is neede keeping CIN in mind.
2. The different plants are neede then it will require seprate material code for local and export scenario?
3. If company have multiple service tax registration ID; will this affect the org structure in terms of plant creation?
Thanks & Regards,
Amrish Purohit

Dear Amrish
Yes though the manufacturing address remains same in some cases, Management will declare as two plants,
- one for normal sales process and
- another one for EOU.
So you can consider local sales from normal plant and export sales from EOU plant.  In that case, yes you have to create two seperate plants with different Excise Group and Series Groups.
From Excise point of view, the manufacturer will have to declare what are all the products they are manufacturing and from which plant.  So depending upon this, we have to address in SAP.
thanks

  • Legal Control for export of sales. Consumption of license by sales order

    We are running legal control for the export of sales of which we require export licenses for certain parts to specific partners, however, I am having difficulty in gettiing a sales order to consume the license thereby reducing the amount of new sales orders I can raise under the license.
    For instance, I have a license to sell 50k and I raise a sales order for 45k, this should then only allow a sales order of upto 5k to be raised unfortunately the consumption is not happening and so therefore all future orders can utilise the license therefore allowing over shipment against the export license, a very serious matter.
    I have created a license type that has 'maximum Amount specified' in transaction VE51 but no consumption takes place.
    Any ideas?

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
    I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
    We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
    Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
    Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
    Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
                                         (A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
                                                 And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
                                         (B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
                                                for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
                                          (A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
                                          (B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
    We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
    Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
    Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
    Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
                                           (A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
                                                   records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
                                                   We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
                                           (B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
                                                  getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
                                           (A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
                                           (B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
    I am waiting for the valuable responses.

  • Accounting document for Export Excise invoice

    Dear All,
    We have two scenario's one is Domestic Sales & Export Sale.
    In domestic sales as per the normal flow of document we create excise invoice after billing document and accounting documents are also generated and updated in the billing document accounting (VF02). Accounting document for excise invoice has been generated.
    However in export sales we create excise invoice with the reference of billing document but no accounting document has been generated for excise invoice.
    Can u please tell me where i have to make changes so my accounting document for export excise invoice will generate?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ratish

    Hi ALL,
    There are 4 export scenario :
    1) Deemed export 2) Export under Bond 3) Export under claim for rebate [No bond] 4) Export under Letter of Undertaking.
    3) In export under no bond process is :- we pay the excise on the goods for exports and create the ARE-1 doc and send to port where the customers officials note the actual quantity of goods on the ARE-1 doc and stamped it. Then these stamped ARE-1 will be send to the excise range of the despatch plant(for exports) where we claim the rebate.
    Now if you are not able to generate the accounting doc for such a scenario some of the consultants may suggest u to use the user exit (J_1I7_USEREXIT_DUTY_IN_EXPORT) and pass the the value X to the parameter SUPPRESS_CALCULATION this intern will help u to generate the Accounting doc also. but real problem lies somewhere else.
    Actual Solution: Maintain J1ID (Customer excise details)
    for export customer maintained the excise indicator to 3 {Nil Duty} insted of 1 {100% tax}.
    Problem will be solved

  • Profoma invoice for Export sales from EOU plant rounding problem

    Hello,
    While creating profoma invoice for Export sales from EOU plant according to standard Tax procedure TAXINJ excise duties appears as  JMOD , JECS, JA1X. But due to legal implication we have to bifurcate them in following
    BCD
    CVD
    ECS on CVD
    SEcess on CVD
    ECS on total duty
    SECess on total duty
    Additional CVD
    Now because of rates get rounding of total does not match with bifurcated duties. The duties should match as per below
    JMOD = BCD + CVD + Additional CVD
    JECS = ECS on CVD + ECS on total duty
    JA1X = SEcess on CVD + SECess on total duty
    Regards,
    Nimit

    You can achieve this with standard functionality, but you will have to make some configuration change:
    - Create the new movement type
    - Create the new MM account assignment
    - Create a new schedule line category
    - Create a new item category
    - Create the assignment of the new schedule line category to the / a (new) item category.
    Maybe you have to create a new item category group to ensure that the proper item category in the sales order is being determined.
    Around user exits in MM in account determination: I'm not aware of any (good) ones, but you might want to take a look at the Business Transaction Events (transction FIBF). These are also a kind of user exit and might provide the functionality you are looking for.
    If you can't accomplish the requirement through an enhancement (user exit, BAPI, BADI, BTE) you might want to consider using an intermediate G/L account during the Post Goods Issue. And then during the release to accounting doing an accrual to the "correct" G/L account, since in the (standard) Revenue Account Determination you can use all kinds of criteria.

  • How RG1 reg update for export sales?

  • Creation of RG1 for Export Sales

    Hi,
    Frends,
    For Export Sales Customer wants to create RG1, but i dont know how to create that can u pl send me some tips of creation of RG1.
    Thanks and Regards
    Babu Rao

    Hi Babu Rao,
    RG1 register is a register of Daily stock account. Whatever stcock you produce n move to warehouse specifically for excisable finished goods, RG1 captures all these movements of material to your warehouse/store. And thr is standard program given in by SAP to create RG1. Mostly, u dont need to create a Z report for that.
    Rg1 consists of fields like
    for matl XXX   -
    closing bal(quantity till last day);
    quantity mfged today;
    total quantity;
    excise duty payable on them etc
    By T code J1iex u will be able to create the RG1 or some other registers. then update the entries in the registers(then registers will show new data)
    update registers- j1i5
    extract data- j2i5
    print register- j216
    in this sequence only. because this is the procedure for maintaining any register. In each code, u will find selection criteria, n need to choose register that u intend to maintain.
    If u need to create RG1 specifically for exports' use tables :
    vbrp, vbrk, konv, kna1
    j_1iexchdr (excise header), j_1iexdtl(excise item), j_1imtchid(for matl chapter id)
    from j_1iexdtl(excise item), u can find tables of excise values.
    from vbrp, fetch the document no., matl number
    hope this will help you.
    Reward, if it helps.

  • Availability Check at Multiple Plants for the Sales Order line Item.

    Hi Friends,
    We are having two plants, Plant A and Plant B. Plant A is used to issue the orders to the vendors and stock them, while Plant B is used to manufacture the Product and Stock.
    When we create the sales order, we want to check the Current Stock Plus Incomming Purchase order stock for plant A and also check current stock plus Production orders in plant B.
    for ex if the current stock is 100 in Plant A and No physical stock in Plant B but there are some production orders for 400 Qty which will be ready in 1 week.
    If i create a sales order for 500 qty which is scheduled for delivery 10 days later.  then we want to commit to the customer ( Looking at both the plants stock situation )  the system should check the stock availability for both the plants and automatically create two different line items , Line item 1 for plant A and line item 2 for plant b.
    I know there is a user exit for Multiple plant selection USEREXIT_PLANT_SELECTION  in program RV03VFZZ. The Description of the USer exit says ( This user exit may be used to provide a list of plants for which availability is to be checked)  But we have never used this one. Will this user exit do exactly what i want ??
    Did any of you, have used the above User exit in your implementations ? If so please let me know whats the purpose of this user exit
    Your reply is much appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards
    Srinivas

    Hi
    I dont know about the userexit which you are referring about
    But this is not available in R3 The system makes a Availability Check only in the plant which has got determined in the item details shipping tab and stops there
    The same is available in APO
    If there are 2 plants say 1000 and 2000
    In sales order the plant determined is 1000 and there is no stock
    In R3 system stops there
    But in APO  system checks the plant 2000 and if stocks are available it creates an STO in the background automatically from 2000 to 1000 if configured accordingly
    Even if the material is maintained in 10 plants the system will make a  Availability Check at all 10 plants and act accordingly

  • JV for Export sale

    Freinds,
    Do we need to create JV using J1IH for Export sale, Credit and Debit memo?
    Please explain ?
    Thanks

    Same as in Domestic sales, Export sales too have Excise Invoice to capture the qtty / Excise duty involved in Exports.
    For
    Export sales, Excise Invocie will be created in J1IIN- with Excise type: LOU- Letter of Undertaking / Export under bond (as per client req). Here There will be no accounting entries. Only Quantity wil be passed to register.
    after that ARE-1 document will be prepared according to Excise law wrt: This Excise Invoice.
    Function Module: J_1I7_USEREXIT_DUTY_IN_EXPORT, code has to be include as
    SUPPRESS_CALCULATION = 'X'
    Credit Memo: Client is issuing Credit note to the customer, If Client has supportive doc's to avail the credit, then Excise JV has to pass through J1IH
    Debit memo: Almost like regular sales, there will be no physical delivery happens, so to adjust the debit note entries, need to Excise JV, through J1IS - OTHR/J1IH - OTHR.
    (make sure that account determination in line with Excise rules)
    Hope it helps

  • Unable to co create Bond for Export sale

    Dear Experts,
    We are dealing with Non exciseable finished goods.For Export Sale when i try to create Bond in J1ibn01the system is showing the error messege "For object J_1IBOND , number range interval 01 does not exist
    Message no. NR751
    Diagnosis
    The database table NRIV has the delivery class 'C', i.e. the SAP default settings are only in client 000.
    So where to make the required configuration.
    Regards
    JP

    HI
    Bond number is entered or referred only in ARE1 and not in any sales document.
    Check with your client regarding ARE1 whether they are creating it or not for the non excisable goods when exporting

  • How to disable delivering plant for sales organisation and material

    HI
    We usually deliver via 2 delivering plants and changing them via MM02 according to availability Theese 2 delivering plants are connected  with many sales organisations
    It  is possible to disable delivering plant for some products to specific sales organisation , so that customer service is not able to order a this material from a plant for this sales organisation? Other sales organisation should be still able to order the product  from that plant.
    I can imagine to block the whole delivering plant for a material. But how is possible to do so on the level of sales organisarion-material-plant?
    Thanks a lot
    Sona

    With standard, it is not possible.  You can try with USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in the program MV45AFZB

  • Need to maintain 4 plants for one sales organization ? Please help ?

    I have one India Sales organization and 4 different plants which can deliver the goods.
    For eg. IS01 = Sales organization. &
    P001= Plant 1
    P002= Plant 2
    P003= Plant 3
    P004= Plant 4.
    Now the problem here is when i maintain material for combination (MM01) P001, IS01 & DC - 10; the delivering plant in sales org view 1 = P001.
    Then, while maintaining (MM01) combination for P002, IS01 & 10, the delivering plant should be P002 but it shows P001. If I change the delivering plant to P002 it also changes the delivering plant in first combination (P001 to P002).
    I just wanted to know 1. Is it possible to deliver goods from different plants under 1 sales organization ( I guess yes) ?
    2. If yes, then how should i maintain delivering plant in various combination as per my requirement ?
    Please provide your suggestions experts ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I just wanted to know 1. Is it possible to deliver goods from different plants under 1 sales organization ( I guess yes) ?
    Yes.
    2. If yes, then how should i maintain delivering plant in various combination as per my requirement ?
    Please provide your suggestions experts ?
    First create a material in MM01 with a combination of P001, IS01 & DC - 10; the delivering plant in sales org view 1 = P001. then you need to extend the same material to below different plants by using  MM01 T-coce
    P002= Plant 2
    P003= Plant 3
    P004= Plant 4.
    Go to MM01 give the same material press enter it will through warning message "Material type & Industry sector copied from Master record"
    then choose same material number and type in "Copy from" then press enter
    automatically select view tab will come with previous selection then click on continue.
    one more  organisation levels tab will open
    In copy from option maintain-PLANT-P001/STORAGE LOCATION/SALES ORG-IS01/DC-10
    then maintain left side "Organizations level" maintain-PLANT-P002/STORAGE LOCATION/SALES ORG-IS01/DC-10
    click on continue.
    automatically master data will be copied from earlier material number.
    just press enter and save it and repeat the same steps for the other plants P003 & P004 in MM01.
    Thanks,
    Krishna.

  • Need a user exit for Export Control check in Sales Order fro VA01/VA02

    Hi ,
         I need a user exit for Export Legal Control process in Sales Order.since Ship-to country in the Sales Order is not always the ‘ultimate destination country’ User Exit needs to be built in with following logic
    1.     Check to see if ‘ultimate destination country’ field is maintained in Sales Order
    2.     If a value is maintained then for the Export control checks use ‘ultimate destination country’ instead of the Ship-To country (step 1)
    3.     If no value is maintained then use Ship-To country as default
    The user exit is called when the user creates or changes a Sales Order.
