Since that psu has 50A on single +12v  that doesn't seem to be the issue.
Get Afterburner and check temps:
Ahh the psu exactly same with your link, I'll check temp later cz for now my cpu under repairing or reinstalling by technician, thanks for your big help, flobelix

If you use another video card does your computer works stable?
have you checked CPU underload temp ?
Can you pass Prime95 testing over night without problems?
Checked memory with
What mainboard you have?
in such case VGA is not even loaded/stressed,
so possible the issue is somewhere else in your computer.
Are you using msi vga drivers for your card from msi web?
I have not used another card cz used to laptop user, and first time using desktop computer use that vcard, I'll check and test as your suggestion later cz of my reason above.
mainbord : msi Z77MA-G45
about vga driver, I used automatic update from: nvidia control panel -> help -> update, and I download then installed it become v3.xxx I didn't remember "xxx"
thanks for your big help, Svet
I'll posting again in this topic asap after my computer done for repair, cya next post. Thanks once again guys for your support

  • New E65 randomly rebooting and apps crashing

    Dear Nokia,
Pleas etake the time and effort to supply a working E65 firmware for downloading since the one that my E65 was shipped with (1.0633.18.01) works rather poorly:
    - The webbrowser will crash randomly
    - The network connection will quit randomly
    - The phone will reboot randomly
And this while I only have used about 0.1% of all available features on said phone. One could say the failure rate is rather high.
I upgraded from a Nokia 6310i that actually still worked quite well but was not Bluetooth compatible with my new car-kit so I made the dubious decision to upgrade (downgrade?) to the E65, since the N95 was just a little too much of a good thing for me.
As it turns out the N95 already has firmware upgrades while the older E65 that would benefit from less bugs too apparently was forgotten.
Please oh please fix your product.
    Sincerely,
    sprins

  • XP SP2 system random reboots and app crashes

I got this new setup in signature about a month ago... Installed XP SP1 and right away put SP2 on it. At times it can run nice for a number of days, other times it acts weird applications crash and without any warning system reboots - looking in system log there's an error with "Error code 00000019" that I can't make anything out of.
Got latest BIOS and drivers from Live Update.
CPU TEMP 46 C and SYS TEMP 40 C CoreCenter shows when idle. Heavy use CPU goes up to 63 C, SYS only rises a couple of degrees.
Windows Memory Diagnostic reports no errors.
Any ideas and suggestions? What else can I try? Is it a OS or hardware prob most likely?
    Thanks in advance
I read the thread about SP2 not booting but I've never had any problems booting my Windows...

  • MSI GTX 560 TI Hawk Unstable?

I have a brand new custom built PC with two MSI 560 TI Hawk cards in SLI and I have a problem with playing games on this system. I've tried Portal 2, Far Cry 2, Two Worlds 2 and The Witcher 2. All games seem unstable with comparable problems:
Random lock-ups for 10-20 seconds with audio looping
Random small jitters, frame drops and stutters, including audio stutters
Sometimes my whole system freezes so I have to push the reset button
    Artifacts
Flickering parts of the horizon, sky or ground in the game
Sometimes the game runs fine for a few minutes and then the problems start happening, sometimes they are there from the beginning.
I tried to eliminate possible causes one by one to narrow out the actual problem. Even disabling SLI and running on a single card doesn't help.
Here are the things I tried:
Monitor GPU temperatures with GPU-Z: didn't show anything unusual, around 35 degrees idle to 65-70 degrees stressed
Disable SLI: didn't fix the problem
Download MSI drivers v266.44 (older version than current NVidia drivers): didn't fix it and I couldn't find the SLI option in these drivers so i switched back to v280.26
Check driver and firmware version with MSI Live Update 5: everything seemed to be up to date
Remove graphics cards: cleaning the connections and re-installing, didn't fix it
Stress the cards with FurMark: no issues detected and temperatures seemed normal (70 degrees stressed)
Lower the stock clock speed (950 Mhz) to the standard non-overclocked speed (822 Mhz): this seemed to help at first and the problems didn't occur for a while. But while i'm testing right now Portal 2 froze and stuttered a few times again. Although it seems like it happens less often. So this might be a clue to my problem. Anyway I didn't pay extra money for these overclocked cards to underclock them back to standard so I would like to make the cards run on stock settings (950 Mhz).
    Here are my system specifications:
Processor: Intel Core i7 2600K 3.4 Ghz (stock speed)
    Mainboard: Asus P8Z68 V-Pro
    Memory: 2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 CL9 12800 Mhz
    SSD: Crucial M4 256GB SSD
HDD: 2x WD Caviar Blue - Raid 0
Graphics: NVidia Geforce GTX 560 TI Hawk 1GB SLI
    PSU: Corsair TX750 V2 (750 watt)
I hope you can help me to fix this issue because I'm out of ideas right now....
    Thanks in advance
    Tandpastatester

Well I've tried some more things but it's all still very weird and not helping at all   I will explain my findings in the order i tested the cards this time, after every card-switch i did a clean re-install of the VGA drivers:
    Card-2
I've ran the OCCT test for one hour on card-2, i got zero errors and temperature never went above 76 degrees with a fan speed around 68%. After this i tried testing some games again and I found out there were still problems regardless of me saying that card-2 did fine before. In Portal 2 I was leaving the game on for a while and after a few minutes it froze with audio looping. I found out that when I use ctrl+alt+del to go to the task manager and then go back to the game it recovered and I could continue playing (weird??!). The same thing happened with The Witcher 2, freezing with audio loop and going to task manager and back let me continue playing. This happened every few minutes.
    Card-1
Now it was time to try card-1 again. This time this card didn't seem to have the frequency problems I mentioned before but the problems didn't go away. Portal 2 let the game freeze within a minute, and I could use the same strategy (task manager) to continue, but this time after a few seconds it would freeze again and again. The same happened with The Witcher 2. Then I tried Far Cry 2 and this game had the same flickering problems as with card-2 but a lot worse... it was almost everywhere. Even sometimes the flickering had a checkerboard kind of shape. Now I ran the OCCT test with this card and there were no problems. Another strange thing was that when I was looking at the graph after the test, the temperature was much lower (65 degrees) and the graph line of the framerate was very straight (stable) along the test. This was different than with card 2 where the framerate and temp were higher and not so stable.
After all it appears i have comparable problems with both cards, only with card-1 they are much worse.

  • PSU for MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti HAWK in SLI ?

Do you know what psu should i get for 2 MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti HAWK?

Depends what other components your system consists of. >>Posting Guide<<
But here is the link to the recommended PSU for such a combo. https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/power-requirements-for-graphics-cards
A 42A PSU is suggested. Thus a Corsair TX650 will suffice but to leave you with additional overhead you could opt for a Corsair TX750. The Corsair PSUs have single 12V rails which are recommended and have an above average reliability and build quality.

  • Fixing temps issues GTX 560 TI HAWK

    1) make a good air flow for the VGA, putting air from the ground, ejecting up the hot air, put a fan in the middle of the card( case )
    2) download AFTERBURNER 2.1.0, NOT THE BETA
    and set this values
    1025 CORE TEMP
    880 clock speed
    2100 ram speed
check with AIDA 64 the GPU AMBIENT ( RAM TEMP OF THE CARD ) and check the voltages.
please, if somebody have this problem with the GTX 560 TI HAWK, try do this, in my computer i found a bug with the voltages in the beta afterburner
5 weeks ago i buy this card, and my problem with this card is the temp, so changin this values, i found a stable configuration to my card, now iam having a max temp of 68º with 20 city ambient temp, and 71º ( average 69) with 30º of city ambient.
please, only use afterburner 2.1.0, if u use the beta, check the voltage value in the AIDA64 if is the same of default clock, the beta is working bad
    good luck
PD: for more info, see my threads and posts, all my history with this card is there, and gonna help more of one.

oh, and another tip to fix the IDLE temps
if u have a two monitors the VGA gonna work with high clock, and without power saving mode, if u use one monitor, u gonna see a temps of 28/32º
if u wanna a fast fix to the air flow case to check the temps, u can use a big fan

  • RMA question gtx 560 ti HAWK

if the card, can work with the default clocks ( high temps ) i should rma the card? for example at 1025 core voltage i have to use the clock at 880 and not the default 950, if i put in 1062 with 880 core clock or 950 core clock, i have high temps in memory temp ( 100+) and gpu temp (80+ in 3 minutes )
and fan coolers at 80+ in SILENT mode

Quote from: Svet on 23-December-11, 02:19:13
switch to Peformance BIOS, also open PC case side door and retest
i tested that without side door even out of case and no major difference in temperatures!and also performance bios didnt help here is my furmark test with open side cover (80 in 6 mins ~5000 RPM):
i tested mafia 2 and almost same old results
as i said before reseller warranty company tested (out of case) and reached 80!with 100% fan~4400 RPM!obvious high temp and noisy for HAWK right?i really dont think its about air flow or ambient temp!
so could you please admit that this high temp and noisy Fan(+ that weird memory temp) is a problem and i can replace my VGA with new one with normal temperatures like this :
    http://www.guru3d.com/article/msi-geforce-gtx-560-ti-hawk-review/8
then according to you i send back the VGA for replacement and if you say 80-90 is normal for a gtx 560 Ti HAWK and wont be any problem so my bad !
    thank you Svet

  • New Z10 Random reboots and text notifications STILL

June 13th I upgraded from a Torch to the Z10. 3 days later, it was randomly rebooting about 4 times a day. I went through a wipe and reinstall and it seemed to work for about a week and then it started with the random rebooting as well as telling me I had texts when I didn't, and telling me every single day that there was a software upgrade available for the very same OS I already had on the phone!
I took it into Rogers and because it was past 2 weeks my options were dismal so I went with the free option. I had them send it in to be fixed. I just picked it up today and haven't even had it back 4 hours. I just got it back to where I wanted it preference wise and blammo! Random reboots and text notifications when there are none.
My options from here? Send it in AGAIN, or pay a $120 deductible through my protection plan for a 'new' phone (= refurbished - I was told they cannot guarantee me it would be brand new), or pay for the phone outright (in the neighborhood of $600) and then start a new plan for a different brand of phone (and yes, I will convert to the other side if this doesn't get resolved properly).
So frustrated because I feel it's extremely unfair to have to pay to own a device that doesn't even work just to get out of my contract (this is my provider but if they aren't able to get their money back from BB then why would they give me mine back?)... especially given that I received it just over a month ago and already had to send it out for a repair that didn't even work!
HELP!? I've tried everything... I'm SO disappointed and frustrated. I've been a loyal BB customer for over 5 years. This is about to end if there is no resolution. I need a phone I can rely on.
Thank you in advance to the powers that be - may they have mercy!

  • Unstable and Random reboot or software crash with 1536 MB RAM

Let see if any of you are a good tech..
I have this MSI KT3 Ultra 333 motherboard (its almost 2 years old) with an MSI Ti4200
The motherboard is working perfectly fine.
It has TWO memory sticks of 512 MB PC2700 DDR dimms   They are in slot 1 and slot 2.  for a total of 1 GB
Everything is working perfectly fine until you add 1 more dimm of 512 into slot 3
When i put the third 512 MB into slot 3  (to get the 1536MB), the computer randomly reboot and softwares become unstable.
Unpluggin internal devices like DVD, extra drives doesn't fix the problem.
This is not a virus worm spyware problem either..  The issue seems to be hardware.
Dimm 1 = Kingston DDR 333 (bought 2 years ago)
    Dimm 2 = No name DDR 333 ) Bought 1 year ago)
Dimm 3 = Kingston DDR 333 (earlier model bought today)
If i take out the new Dimm, everything works fine.. if i leave the new Dimm 3 everything crash or randomly reboot.
I tried swapping Dimms places  but no go.
I though the new stick in slot 3 was deffect so i removed it  and put it and the second computer (a compaq) which would bring that second computer to total of 1GB.  passed the test.
So it doesn't seem to be the memory stick.
    Why can't i add a 512 MB dimm to the MSI KT3 Ulra 333 ?
All i want to do is to have 1.5 GB of ram but im stuck at 1GB.

    The thing is...
They're all the same speed according to their numbers
    i.e :  KVR 333 X 64 C 25 / 512
    Its typical to kingston label where KVR ( kingston value ram) , 333 (333) , x?, 64, 25 (2.5) / 512 (512MB)
The second dimm is an Infineon HYB25D2566800BT-6 , but it is not listed on infineon webpage.  the 256 in the serial means 256Mb dimm on their website but it gives 512MB still.  I think theres a typo on infineon website.
The third dimm is also a KVR 333 2.5 / 512  (just a newer one)
Anyway, what i did is i borrowed a 512 MB dimm Samsung from a colegue and removed the Infineon.. (yes i know, but i don't have access to a third Kingston)
I moved the newer kingston from slot3 to slot 2.
Now i have 2 kingston next to each other... then i added the Samsung 512 2.5 in third slot.
I unplugged all neons to gain some power juice..
    The current setup is now
    Slot 1= Kingston PC2700 333  2.5 (2 years old)
    Slot 2= Kingston PC2700 333  2.5 (new model)
Slot 3= Samsung PC2700 333  2.5  (sold with presario compaq that use MSI boards)
    Total = 1536 MB
Im gona give it a try.
Also, each of those dimm use certain known memory chips with the serial starting with either WDxxxx or WENxxxx , it seems some of those memory manufacturers get their memory chips from the same chip manufacturers...  And most motherboard manufacturers usualy have a compatibility list with those chip manufacturers...
Anyway, it's sort of a chaos industry out there.

  • BF3 crashes every 5 mins - GTX 560 TI HAWK FROZR III

So Battlefield 3 looks great on this card but it crashes all the time.  Nice and random.  Drivers are up to date and the MSI auto bios system doesn't find any new ones.  However, I hear the auto system doesn't work.  Trying to get help to see why this is happening and if it does need a bios update.  Card is about 3 months old.

So everything looks good as far I as I can tell.  I'm running BF3 settings a little below high.  Game runs smooth with low temps.  Highest I've seen so far is 51C but I haven't been able to play longer than 15 minutes in a row.
    Any thoughts

is your compueter stable if you use another video card?
have you tested this video card in another computer?
My system is stable and so is BF3 with other cards.  I upgraded to this card from a 9800 MX2, and that plus my 4 gigs of ram would play the game fine at low-medium for hours on end.
I have tested the card in another computer but not with BF3.  I may be able to do that later this week.
Any other thoughts?  Does my bios look right?
Edit:  Just tried exact reference clock settings with 100% fan, still only lasted 5 minutes.

ok so new build. Works great. However randomly after I restart or shut down, I get "reboot and select proper boot device."
so I go into the bios, try to troubleshoot the problem, restart and it boots fine 4 or 5 times. I think I fixed it. then later I restart, its back.
I have gaming 7 board and an samsung 840 evo 250gb HDD.
I guess if it does it again ill try to repair windows. Then I guess I will figure the SSD is bad. Hope not.

  • Help for N900 that randomly reboot and that have s...

    DISCLAIMER
A moderator deleted an entire thread with details that have helped many many users with N900 phones that are rebooting because they believed we were discussing debranding N900s..
Firstly, the N900 is not branded..
Secondly, we were discussing changing settings on the device to stop the devices from randomly rebooting.. Something SUGGESTED BY NOKIA on the bugs.maemo.org bug tracker website.
Nothing in this thread will invalidate your warranty and all information is condensed from official Maemo websites.
If your device is randomly rebooting:
RESTART YOUR DEVICE AFTER A RANDOM REBOOT
There is a counter inside your phone that increases by 3 every time it randomly reboots. If this counter reaches 50 (after 17 random reboots in a row) your device will probably stop booting ALL TOGETHER!
To stop your device from completely locking, you must power off your device normally. Use the power button then select "switch off". When you power your device back on, the counter is reset. Remember, if you don't reset your device, it will stop booting.
REPAIRING A DEVICE THAT NO LONGER BOOTS
If your device was randomly rebooting but now fails to boot it may have reached its count limit. When you turn on your device it may stop at the 5 dots loading screen and freeze.
Here's a method for getting your device working again.
    Download flasher-3.5:
For Nokia forums staff this is an OFFICIAL PUBLIC NOKIA TOOL. USING THIS TOOL DOES NOT AFFECT THE DEVICE WARRANTY. PLEASE DO NOT DELETE THIS POST AGAIN.
Flasher can be obtained from the Nokia website:
    http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-dev-env-downloads.php
Download and install flasher onto your computer. For more information on using flasher, you can see the maemo page here:
    http://wiki.maemo.org/Flasher
    Turn off your N900
    Remove the battery
Insert the battery.. but leave it off
Plug the USB cable into your computer.. This may not work in ALL ports on your computer. Sometimes ports at the back of the computer work better than those at the front.
Open the keyboard on your N900, press and hold the 'u' button and plug the USB cable into the N900.. keep the u button pressed.
The Nokia logo should appear on your device, a small USB icon should appear in the top right of the N900 screen. The backlight may not light up leaving the screen dark. You can release the u button now
NOW ENABLE R&D MODE TO START THE DEVICE
Use flasher application. On windows 7 this may mean running in windows xp mode
Open a cmd window (start run cmd) then enter these commands:
    cd "\program files\maemo\flasher-3.5"
    flasher-3.5.exe --enable-rd-mode
Flasher should run for a few seconds then exit.. If it hangs "waiting for suitable device" Try another port on your computer. Try a different computer. Ask questions here. Flasher doesn't always work on all machines
Remove the USB cable from your N900 and turn it on. It should boot up. Note that there is a small spanner icon under the Nokia logo
If your device still does not boot:
Check that the spanner icon is present when you turn the device on. If it is not, the device is not in R&D mode.. Start going through these instructions again
If the spanner logo is present and the device still does not boot, stop.. this process may not help you
    Turn the N900 back off
Press and hold the u button on the keyboard and plug the USB cable in. Keep the u button pressed
The Nokia logo should appear on your device, a small USB icon should appear in the top right of the N900 screen. The backlight may not light up leaving the screen dark. You can release the u button now
NOW DISABLE R&D MODE TO START THE DEVICE
In the cmd window on your pc, re-run the flasher command with a different option:
    flasher-3.5 --disable-rd-mode
Remove the USB cable and turn the phone back on
CHANGE ENABLE_OFF_MODE TO STOP RANDOM REBOOTS
I have written a tool to help stop the random reboots on N900 devices. This tool issues the following command
    echo 0 > /sys/power/enable_off_mode
and updates the /etc/pmconfig file to make the change permanent
To use the tool you will need to install the rootsh package:
     http://maemo.org/downloads/product/raw/Maemo5/rootsh/?get_installfile
     Now download the fixpm.sh file:
     http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/fixpm.sh
Open an x terminal and type the following command

    Congrats!!
There are some steps you can follow to help stop your phone from rebooting...
Follow the steps in the first post under the section:
CHANGE ENABLE_OFF_MODE TO STOP RANDOM REBOOTS
Open these links on your N900:
Download and install the rootsh package:
    http://maemo.org/downloads/product/raw/Maemo5/rootsh/?get_installfile
    Download the fix script:
    http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/fixpm.sh
Save it in the Documents folder
Open an X terminal and run these two commands
    sudo gainroot
    sh MyDocs/.documents/fixpm.sh enable

  • ISA570 1.2.20 Firmware-Random Reboot and Errors

I updated the firmware to the latest version about a month or so ago and it seems this version has had some issues.  Currently, I have a support case opened with Cisco to figure out what happened today when all of a sudden the firewall rebooted on it's own.  Not too mention, there are tons of errors and warnings since upgraded from 1.2.15 to this new version, which fixes the heartbleed vulnerability.  Anybody else having random reboots or a ton of new errors and warnings present?

Yeah, I had to go back to .15 which seems the most stable and I am sure there are many others who are doing the same.  It is unfortunate that none of these issues are fixed and I can say these issues probably will never be fixed after speaking with Cisco small business support.  If nobody calls in and speaks up about these issues Cisco won't know there is a widespread issue with this firmware. They assured me from .19 to .20 the only fix was the heartbleed, but I have a hard time believing that as others have had issues with the reboots I believe in .19.   At some point in the near future we will have to move to another product all together for lack of support.  Don't get me wrong this is a great product with the old firmware, but right now I can no longer use SSL to the device or SSL VPN remote access because of the heartbleed vulnerability.  Sad but true.

  • Lumia 920 random reboots and dropped mobile data a...

Hi! Wondering if anyone can shed some light on an issue I'm seeing with TWO Lumia 920 handsets?
Both were recently wiped for new users - full "reset your phone" option. After installing the Black update, the phones now randomly reset and reboot. In addition, they cannot seem to hold onto a data connection (either GPRS, 3G or H) - the mobile data connection works when the phone is first boot up, but loses connectivity some time later. Mobile data isn't restored unless the phone is turned off and on again. Totally scratching my head on this - and as it affects two phones, I'm pretty sure it isn't a faulty handset. Steps I've tried:
Swapping SIM cards around (including SIMS not associated with those two handsets)
Manually setting APN details (we're on Orange - also EE)
Installing Access Point app (which isn't installed as standard) for auto-configuration of APN
Toggling between 4G and 3G maximum connection speed settings
Manually selecting mobile network (i.e. disabling automatic network selection)
Wiping and resetting both phones (multiple times)
Installing fresh firmware image via the Nokia Software Recovery Tool
All these don't help! Frustratingly, everything works fine over WiFi - and I have observed that the random reboots only occur when data is being transmitted over mobile network. Both handsets belong to Orange UK (EE), and are updated with EE's approved Black firmware...
Anyone seen anything similar? Anyone come across a fix?!?
