H:commandButton image error

Hi everyone, i have a bug with the h:commadButton.
I have the following code:
<h:commandButton action="#{Bean.Method}"
                                        image="showme_btn_access.gif"
                                        styleClass="some_style"
onclick="prequal_load(this.form)" id="showme" />Everything works fine but the first time the page loads it renders the following:
<input id="_id15:showme" name="_id15:showme" type="image" src="showme_btn_access.gif;jsessionid=B725312BD4321014CEFF43CD44AE225D" onclick="prequal_load(this.form);...
{code}
The problem has to do with the jsessionid portion of the rendered code.  It causes my image to be broken because to the browser, that image path does not exist.
Once I refresh the page the problem is gone :-/
Any clues as to how this can be avoided?

  • Adobe Standard 9.5.2 after update I get "Insufficient data for an image" error

After updating to Acrobat Standard and Readre 9.5.2, some (but not all) of my pdf files are now opening with the error "Insufficient data for an image." The files open, but they are fuzzy, pixelated and are missing the bates stamp I applied earlier (using a utility from LexisNexis Casemap). I can open the files fine on another computer with Acrobat Standard 9.5.1.
How can I uninstall the 9.5.2, or get it to work again?

Windows 7 64-bit with Samsung SSD on an i5 Lenovo laptop. Yes, I have both Acrobat Standard and Reader 9.5.2 on the machine. Both give the same error when opening the attached file.

Hi osieko,Can you share across any such sample pdf file? Also, what OS are you working upon? You have both Acrobat Standard 9.5.2 and Reader 9.5.2 installed on your machine. Right? One option that you can try is to repair your Acrobat/Reader from Programs in Control Panel and see if that resolves the issue.Otherwise kindly attach a screenshot of the error you are receiving along with any sample pdf file.

  • Can't save image, error message ???

Hi, I'm trying to save a pdf image in photoshop, as I always do, hitting command S, or going to file-save. I keep getting an error message saying "could not save "x" file because the file is already in use or was left open". Well duh, of course it's in use, I'm working on it.
Anybody know what's going on here? Am I missing something?
    Thanks!!

Thank you! I'll give it a try!

  • Reader XI still gives "insufficient data for image" error

Our fax machine creates .pdf files of the faxes and recently our back office has had trouble printing them. When I look at them they give an "insufficient data for image" error, but only on one page each. I've tried upgrading to reader XI but the problem persists. I've gotten around it by taking a screenshot and printing the one page that doesn't work so far, but I'd like to get this fixed. It only started happening today. I have a call in to our fax provider, but I was wondering if anyone here had any possible solutions.
    Thanks,
Also due to the nature of the documents I'm unable to provide a sample.

It is also happening to me (running v 11.0.2).  I tried adjusting the various settings under the "View" menu and at best could only see part of what was missing.  I resolved the issue by downloading and installing Foxit Reader.  Bingo! now I can see the entire document.

  • "Insufficient data for an image" error

    Licensee: Accenture
    Adobe Reader 10.0.1
    OS: Windows 7 Enterprise  x64
Sub Product: ABCpdf .NET Version 6.1.1.5
    Hello,
We are using ABC pdf to generate pdf reports in our website and then a mail sending routine executes and mail those reports to our clients. Some times when user recieves the mails then he is not able to see the reports properly using adobe reader X  and it shows "Insufficient data for an image" error. These reports are multiple page reports. Although reports saved at our end are genreted properly and we are able to open them proeperly. So is there any work around for this?
Please let me know in case of any query.

I checked out the link, that is the exact error I get when I open the file.  I tried the suggested Work Arounds.  Changing the zoom does not make the problem go away.  Optimizing the file and then saving it, and then opening the newly saved file does not fix it either.  Thanks for your time. , though.
This file opens fine in earlier versions of Acrobat, no problem.

  • "insufficient data for an image" error using Firefox 3/Reader 9

I find some PDF files won't open in Firefox (3.0.3), giving the error "insufficient data for an image". usually the first page displays (partly garbled), then when I try to page down, I get this error. The PDF files are fine -- if I "Save as" they open without problems and they open in IE6.
The problem is not consistent: the same file will open at one attempt and not at the next (and vice versa).
    Anyone come across this problem?
    Thanks, Jim

The same error occurs in Google Chrome and even in the actual reader itself when trying to open certain PDFs. Adobe is almost impossible to contact directly and there are few clues as to how to resolve this issue on their website.
Not only were there "insufficient data for an image" errors, other errors also displayed, sometimes resulting in freezing the browser and forcing a Ctrl, Alt, Del / end program procedure.
An uninstall and reinstall of Adobe 9 did not resolve the issue. After discussion with another user who did not have Adobe 9 installed, and was still using Adobe 8, it was clear that the issues surround Adobe 9. This was uninstalled and replaced with Adobe 8 and so far all documents that did not previously open now open without a problem.
While one cannot with certainty verify whether this solution works with Firefox, it is clear that Adobe 9 has a number of issues. Backward compatibility may be one of them. Documents constructed to display on older readers obviously create problems for Adobe 9. An interesting point is that even with Adobe 9 installed, by uploading the direct link to the PDF in question to Google Docs, the document displays without a problem within Google Docs itself, though a download of the same reproduces the same errors as outlines above.
So in summary, try uninstalling Adobe 9 and install Adobe 8. NB: it is advisable to close all browsers before initiating the new install to enable browser integration.
    Good luck.

  • Reader XI (11.0.0) fails to fix "insufficient data for an image" error

after updating to 10.1.4 we were getting numerous "insufficient data for an image" errors on some pages only.  These are documents (construction plans) scanned by a client and we have no control over their workflow or methods.  The device reported in the pdf file proerties is a Canon iR C3850.
The problem persists in Reader XI on both Win7-32bit and XP Pro SP3 PCs.  Rolling back to 10.1.3 was also ineffective.  Any ideas why the docmented fix does not work?
    Thanks.

Under Reader X it works fine.

Insufficient data for an image error message on latest version of adobe reader

Change the zoom settings so you can see the contents of the document. Try reducing the Zoom factor, or click Fit One Full Page To Window. You can make this setting persistent (to avoid changing for every document) in Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Zoom > Fit Page.
Resave the PDF in Acrobat (you can download trial from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=acrobat_pro&loc=us ) as an Optimized PDF, using the Standard PDF Optimizer settings, or as a Reduced File Size PDF.

Please go to the ALPC preference dialog and see where is the default save profile location. Check if the folder exists on your system and whether you have permission to write to the folder.

I have been running Windows on my PC since initial installation and have not changed my set-up in any way, but now receive a "Photoshop Elements10.0.exe - Bad Image" Error message when trying to start my program. The error further reads c:Program Files 9x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\amtlib.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error etc. I have deactivated, removed and then reinstalled Photoshop Elements using my original discs and serial number, but continue to get the same message.

  • DLL Image Error

After downloading iTunes 7.3, I keep getting the following error message:
    DLL C:\Windows\system32\DCIMAN32.dll
is not a valid image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
What happens is iTunes opens, but without the skin, so I can see text but there's no white backround rendering it unusable. I tried every troubleshooting tool I use (e.g. registry cleaner) but nothing works. Si Ican't use iTunes , which is a massive problem if you have an iPod!
Nothing on the support pages quite relates, so I'd appreciate any help.

Just in case someone else is viewing this, I finally fixed this problem.  If you are reading this, that probably means you have the same problem.  There a tens of this "Bad Image" error Posts in this forum and in the Microsoft forum.
I believe that "Image" is the clue here, but it took me a very long time to figure that out.
Via a very circuitous route I ended up at the Intel support site (a friend suggested this).  There you can download a drive update utility, which I did.  When it was run, it informed me that it thought I have a vendor customized Graphics driver and (thank you very much) I should be careful about downloading a new driver from them.  Therefore I did not.  However, that indicated to me that there could be a Graphics Driver problem.
I then recalled that in my many and various travels across the internet reading something about a "Recovery Manager" that HP installs in the product (again, thank you very much).  HP customer support has a set of instructions on how to use the tool on their website: (Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 7).
I ran the Manager and replaced the Intel Graphics Drive.  Problem solved.
I hope that this may be of help to others.

  • Invalid image error when saving to pdf

I keep getting an invalid image error when saving a MS Publisher file as a pdf. Can anyone help with solving this issue?

You need to provide system and version info and explain how you actualyl produce the PDF. Unless you use the Acrobat PDF printer, I don't see how Adobe software would be involved in any of this, as recent versions of MS Office products can save PDFs natively...
