I had an itunes account I shared with my family. I opened a separate account when I got a new phone but cant't transfer my library of music. I want to cancel new account and go back to original shared account. How do I do this?
Content is permanently tied to the account it is acquired with.
Apple ID's cannot be deleted.
Simply sign out of the undesired account and stop using it. Sign in with the desired account.

You cannot merge Apple IDs but you can go to Settings > iCloud and 'Delete Account'. When prompted to turn off documents and data, choose the only option which is Delete from my iPhone, but on the other prompt for Contacts, Calendars, etc you can choose 'Keep on my iPhone' Then once the Account is Deleted form the iPhone, log back in with the correct Apple ID and choose Merge when prompted. This will merge your data from this iPhone with that iCloud account effectively putting your devices on the same account.

When I got my new computer and transferred I tunes my songs in my play list play on my computer, but when I try to sync to my 3g Ipod, it only syncs a few albums and gives me a message that 100 song files can't be found. So only half of what I want is on my Ipod. I leave on a long trip now and really need the Ipod full of my music. I've tried reloading some CDs and replacing the old ones on there, but still they won't sync. What do I do?
You need to copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to the new one.
The iphone will sync itunes content and pics with one and only one computer at a time. If you sync to another, then it will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer.
The music sync is one - way -computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
If you sync contacts and calendars to a blank computer, then they will be erased as well.
Copy everything from the old computer. -
Would any iphone 5 come with out a setup on it ? i got a new iphone and their wasnt a setup and there was a message from an unknown number.
frm a local dealer.. but he said me that the phone is a brandnew one. he said me that european phone's come without a setup.

I have purchased actual ringtones from the ITunes store. They were working fine on my Iphone 3 before, but I got a new laptop and the new version of ITunes, and now even though they are listed as ring tones on my ITunes, they will not transfer to my Iphone. (Please do not tell me they are songs and not ring tones, they are definitely RING TONES!) Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
Use the Transfer Purchases command in the File menu of iTunes.

I recently exchanged my faulty iPad while travelling.i backed it up to brother's laptop and fneedlessly backed up all iTunes purchases.... I synced new iPad with brother's laptop and now all albums appear but none will play. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

i got a new Iphone 5C and I backed it up as "Restore from ICloud" backup and it's all old stuff I dont want on the phone, can I go back and redo the back up as a new phone set up??

I am trying to back up and sync my ipod nano to a new pc. When i connect, my ipod shows up under devices, but no music shows up. I saved my library to a flash drive and saved to my new pc, but it will not drop into itunes. How do I transfer my itunes library from and old pc to a new one? Connect your phone to your computer, click on the name of your phone on the left side of iTunes, then do the following:
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings check "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library check all the songs you want to sync to your phone
Confirm that there are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
Confirm that you have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize This Computer)
Check "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings

I think you misunderstood. I have had the same account for 7 years and through many, many devices an computers.

Have you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
"everytime i enter my information to access the old account username and password it makes me answer security questions that then tell me im wrong and when i try to send an email for verification i never get one to that email address?"
