Half functions of iOS 4.2 not working on Ipad
I installed ios 4.2 and many of the functions such as Air Print, Air Play, Mail enhacements are not available. Folders are available and I can multi task but the slider at the bottom of screen does not work so I cannot control a task once switched to another app! Any ideas what to do (can i reinstall 4.2?)

There is no AirPrint app, no new icon appeas. The same is true of AirPlay. You probably have the Mail enhancement, combined mailboxes, without being aware of it, or perhaps only have one account loaded up in the first place?
Which slider at the bottom is supposed control which task? After having switched to which other app? For that matter, what do you mean when you say that it doesn't work?

Personal hotspot will work ok and when in use the two devices show each other as connected via BT

If BT is turned on the devices will not find one another, even though they are both showing they are discoverable. They spend for ever trying to discover ANY device and find nothing.
Tried with a device on iOS 6xx and still no discovery
Tried with the Phototransfer app that has always worked fine via BT - it will no longer connect over BT.no issues with my iphone4 16GB 1.5GB free
try restart and or closing the apps you don't need

Any suggestion?Just had this issue. I turned WIFI off and it connected fine. Then turned WIFI back on and working as always.
It had something to do with the WIFI conflicting with the exchange server. -

It's not exactly clear what the issue is here with your AirPort Express or Extreme, but if you cannot connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone, please follow the directions in the article below.

Having the same problem. No response from Apple as I tried all the suggestions. Had to perform a system restore. Currently iy's working. Make sure you backup everything to your computer. IOS6 is still glitchy in other areas.

How do you fix the swipe function on ipad2 that is not working?
The swipe function on my iPad2 is not working and the apps require a double-click to open (some do not open). When I go to settings, the passcode entry boxes are grayed out. I have already tried a hard restart by holding down the menu button and the Hold button until the apple appears. What else can I try to get it back to working normally?

The iTunes App on your iPad is a portal to the iTunes Store for music and videos. It needs a connection to the internet (either WiFi or cellular) to work.

I can see the acknowledgement that this issue will be fixed in the 'next' software update. Considering the original post was for an iPad 2 running 5.0.1, I am not sure if this issue on iOS 5.1 which runs on my new iPad (4G) is considered fixed. As I reported in my previous post it is impossible to update individual tracks. I also tried adding entire collection to a single playlist, shuffling the playlist. While shuffle is in progress, turning to the 'list' view that allows tracks to be rated does who the currently shuffled playlist and the currently playing track and assigns the rating to the track correctly. However, as soon as the second track plays, switching to list view (which displays the ratings) lists only the tracks from the currently playing track's album. Which is insane IMHO.
So, was this not fixed with 5.1 update? Or the iOS 5.1 will get it's own piece of update on this? -
Polarioid pogo printer not working with ipad and iphone
And I can not believe how that truly *****... I am traveling through the states and bought the pogo to print on the road... Only to find out that it does not work with ipad and does not work with iphone... Unless I jailbreak my phone which I don't really want to do...
Apple wants us to go mobile and clouding and all those things, yet, when we do go mobile and try a mobile life style, we are encountering so much technical crap that we loose the will to live...
I could have spend the hundred dollar for the pogo to have pics printed out in every kiosk in the country...

Is anyone aware of a work around so I can print on the go? And a solution that does not involve a programmers brain because my single braincell is not working while traveling... It needs to be easy!To cut through all the rage and anger and "knowing" who wanted what, the Pogo has been out for a year or so, well before Mr. Jobs' passing, and Apple did not make any mention of supporting printing on anything other than Airprint compatible printers.
Since Airprint is a Wi-Fi/ethernet thing, Polaroid would have to make a significant redesign to the Pogo. Considering that the first iPhones only supported Bluetooth headsets and Apple didn't provide any indications about increasing Bluetooth support, Polaroid's decision for the Pogo to be Bluetooth was obviously not with iOS devices in mind. This is why initially Polaroid had links on the FAQ to tell Apple to add Bluetooth printing support (so that in effect, asking Apple to pay for the expenses to make the iPhone compatible with the Pogo, rather than Polaroid paying to make the Pogo compatible with iOS.)
I come from a photograpic background. I got the Pogo as soon as it came out. I quite literally was on Polaroid's website every day checking to see when I could order it. Having "instant" sticker prints is wonderful at family picnics with all the kids. While it would be great to be able to get Pogo prints from anyone's iPhone, I stopped holding my breath when Apple announced Airprint, which came well after the Pogo was released. So I took that as the sign that it was probably never going to happen. (I knew that the Pogo wasn't iOS compatible when I bought it so not having compatiblity is not a deal-breaker for me. But, yes, it would be nice.)
I now use a Polaroid Z340 since it's a 14 megapixel camera that prints larger 3x4 Zink prints. Polaroid makes the GL10, which is basically a Pogo using the same printer as the Z340. But it's still Bluetooth only. So while I sympathize with the desire to have a really compact portable printer like the Pogo, iOS compatibility just does not seem to be on the horizon. IMHO, it would be more realistic that Polaroid create an app to do Bluetooth printing. But considering Polaroid's financial issues, I'm not holding my breath
