Handling Unit Number against each PO Number/Sales Order

Dear All,
I have a query regarding identification of Handling Unit/s Number/s (Handling Unit Management) against each PO Number in Sales Order. E.g. I created 2 Sales Order with 5 and 7 line items respectively. Now I combine them into one Delivery which becomes as 12 Line items. Now against each PO Number/Sales Order line items I have done multilevel packing, similarly I have done this for 2nd PO Number/Sales Order line items while creating Outbound Delivery.
As per my client's requirement, he wants to print the Handling Unit Number as per Sales Order PO Number. I have checked VEKP and VEPO where I am not able to segregate the Handling Unit Number against each Sales Order/PO Number. Please find below Screen Shot.
Please help me out.
Regards:
Abhishek

Hello,
I'm not sure to understand completely your requirement.
Anyway in VBFA you should have the complete flow of the documents:
enter in VBFA with
"Follow-on doc." (VBELN) = your HU number
"Subs.doc.categ." (VBTYP_N) = 'X - Handling unit
"Prec.doc.categ." (VBTYP_V) = 'J - Delivery"
In this way for each Handling Unit you'll get the delivery number and item,  and from that you can branch to the corresponding Sales Order item number and get the customer's PO number.
On top of that, in table VEPO you have the reference to Delivery number and item. The only thing you need is one more step using VBFA again, to get from the delivery and item numer, the corresponding Sales Order number and item.
Best regards,
Andrea

The problem is the multiple invoices is for non goods receipt item so there will be no delivery. At the time of creating a PO the GR is not checked so there will be no delivery .
Also this setting is for invoices which are comming from Vendors. But if we are genrating the invoices manually it is not blocking those invoices. Also i there is nowhere mentioned in Incomming invoice to set tolerence for incomming invoice. Are you talking about Vendor tolerences?
    Thanks in advance

  • Copy purchase order number and date from one sales order to other sales ord

    Hi,
I am creating sales order in va01. here i am entering purchase order number (p100) and date. Sales order number ex: 42000
I am creating another sales order with reference to 42000. when creating sales order with reference to 42000, purchase order number (p100) and date has to be copied automatically from that order.
Can anyone please give me a solution?
    Thanks in advance
    Babu

    Dear Babu,
Currently, PO number is being mentioned in copy routine 101 but this
field VBKD-BSTKD is being cleared out.
If we check this routine code:
    FORM DATEN_KOPIEREN_101.
    Data which is not copied
Pricing date for consignment issue by external service agent from
    the scheduling agreement
      IF CVBAK-VBTYP CA VBTYP_LP_EDL.
        CLEAR VBKD-PRSDT.
      ENDIF.
PO data should not be copied
      CLEAR: VBKD-BSTKD,                    <<<<<
             VBKD-BSTDK,
In order to achieve your requirement, you need to consider creating you
own copying routines for VBKD fields copying standard copying routines
(for example copying routine 101) according your business requirements
and change them via transaction VOFM, in order to:
      - deactivate the LOCAL: statement
      - delete the clear statements
Once you have created those two routines to match your business needs,
you can insert them in transaction VTAA, so the sales order will copy
the PO date at item level.
I hope I was able to help you.
    Kind regards,
    Zsuzsanna

    Many thanks for any help.
    Robin

    Hi,
You have to use following tables to get the data VBRK (Billing Header), VBRP (Billing Item), KNA1, KNB1 and KNVV (Customer Master Tables), VBAK (Sale Order Header) and FPLTC(Payment cards table)
First pass the input data for example
Customer reference number into VBRK- KUNNR and Date into VBRK-FKDAT and get the relevant VBLENu2018s for the customer.
Pass VBRK-VBELN value into VBRP-VBLEN and get VBRP-AUBEL (Sale order number).
Pass customer number into KNA1-KUNNR and get KNA1-ADRNR (for fetching the address details for the customer) pass this
ADRNR into ADRC-ADDRNUMBER And get all the address details of the customer.
Similarly pass VBRP-AUBEL into VBAK-VBLEN and get VBAK-FPLNR pass this value into FPLTC-FPLNR and get all the card relevant details.
    Hope this helps.
Revert back in case of clarifications.

  • Maximum number of line items in sales order

    hi,
Is there a limit on the maximum number of line items that are permitted in a sales order?
    Thanks,
    Shailaja

    Hi
I think the correct reply would be 999,999 because data type of item number POSNR is NUM 6, which means that it can hold upto value 999,999.
However, at the same time keep the following into consideration:
    1. FI document has a restriction of 999 line items per document. So, depending on the account settings, there will be a lower limit. E.g. if each Sales order line item results in 2 line items in the accounting document, then the max. no. of SO line items is limited to 499.
    2. If FI summarization is active, then the system summarizes the account postings, thus reducing the no. of FI line items. Hence, a SO can accomodate more than 999 line items. However, this means that certain line item level details will not be available to the Finance guys (which they may not like).
    3. As the number of line items in a Sales order increases, the system performance suffers greatly. There are performance fixes available, but in general, it is painful to load a SO with large no. of line times through BDC's. 10 Sales orders with 100 lines each consume less system resources than 1 Sales order with 1000 lines.

  • Hi,Project Number in Others Tab of Sales Order Window

    Hi,
We are Using Oracle Projects Module and Order Management.
When we are creating the Order for the Customer,we need to link the Order with a Project in Oracle Projects.
How ever Iam Creating Sales Order ,Selecting the Project number from the LOV,It is not displaying any values.
Could you please guide me how to populate the Project Defined for a Customer in the Sales Order to be created for that Customer.
It will be great help for me if any could provide the solutions.
    Thanks all.
    Regards
    Ganga Raju

You might want to review PJM Implementation Guide to follow the required steps.
I assume you have not assigned the projects to the PJM organization, which is a mandatory step.
Navigate to the form - Project Parameters, where you are supposed to enter the list of projects that would be avalable on that organization. you have to enter cost group, planning group and WIP accounting class defaul for each project.
Only the projects assigned to the Inventory / PJM organization are available on the sale order line LOV.

  • Serial number and batch determination in sales order

    Good afternoon,
When I try to assign any serial numbers to a given material in sales order, the system returns the message "Maintaining serial numbers only possible, if valuation type is specified". I can workaround this by assigning a batch number to the item, then I can input my serial numbers normally.
Well, that leads me two questions:
    1) Can we assingn serial numbers WITHOUT having to input batch numbers first?
    2) If not, is it possible to determine batches in sales order items without having them created previously in tcode MSC1N?
Thanks in advance and best regards.
    Adriano Cardoso

    Dear Kris,
Yes, I know this is an unusual scenario, but our customers require us to send the serial numbers of the products in advance for documentation purposes.

  • GRN number for rejected items in sales order

    hi sapgurus,
i want to know the grn number for rejected goods in the sales order
consider if i put a sales order for a material named X for 10 quantities and if 5 quantities are rejected i will put GRN for those rejected items and add it to my stock.
I have taken GRN no linking VBAK with VBRP .VBRP with LIPS .LIPS with MKPF thro VBELN_LA (ie.delivery note).
the delivery note will be updated only Post goods issue happens with complete status.
Is there any other way to get GRN no without delivery note while PGI in process Status.
    thanks in advance!

  • Internal Item Number " Items not appearing in Sales order Line form

    Hi,
We are in 11.5.7 vis. While choosing an item in the Sales order form, only the line items with type 'chargemaster' and 'vendor' appear. The items with type 'Internal item number' doesn't appear anymore. The item validation organization is set to the Master Inventory organization.(V1).
When i checked the pricelist creation screen, with product attribute - item number, the product value field is empty and greyed out for all the items.
I compiled the system Items flexfield. I tried adding a new product to the pricelist with product attribute-item number, product value - A000 .All the items (with their internal item numbers) appear while choosing the product, but the product description doesn't default and the field remains empty and greyed out.
After saving the item in the price list and if i query for this particular item, the product description appears but the product value now becomes empty and greyed out.
Any explanation as to to why this is behaving so and to rectify the same?
    Regards,
    Nithya

    Hi,
Check item category determination (VOV4) whether the item category is determine with the combination of  material item
category group, untill the material being read by the system it will not give the line item no,and also check at VOV8 for your doc
type Item no.increment Ex: 10, is maintained or not ,if not maintain and try.

  • Updating EAN number for artcile within a sales order

    Hi Everyone,
We are running SAP R/3 E, I have a situation where a sales order can be created using a material which does not have a EAN article number associated within MM.
One particular partner gets their invoice by EDI and needs this field in the invoice, even if we update the material in MM02 with the EAN code its not copied through to the invoice, even if we cancel the invoice the same problem exists.  I can also look in the sales order and see that the EAN did not update in their either, it will do for new sales orders.
Please can somebody advise how to get this though to my Invoice so it will appear in the IDOC?  If we have to cancel/re-invoice that's not a problem
    Many thanks

  • Maximum number of Invoices for a Sales order

    Dear All,
How many invoices we can make for a Sales order?
Is there any maximum limit for that?
How many documents can be shown in Document flow?
    Please let me know.
    Regards,
    Mullairaja

    hi mullairaja
if in the case for partial deliveries you could process any number of invoices but only till the number of partial deliveries in the customer master data > sales area > shipping > partial deliery per item .....
if the case of the sales order  is processed and delivery and COMPLETE  picking ...and PGI with respect to that delivery document you could only process one invoice ......
IF you complete the whole sales cycle ...you can see the whole document flow in va02 by clicking document flow in the left top corner.
the document flow will be more if their are many partial deliveries.
