Has anybody compiled OpenSSL for 64 bit PPC?

We want to use OpenSSL as a 64 bit application under Mac OS X 10.4.7 over PPC G5 hardware.
Has anybody had experience compiling OpenSSL for this architecture?
Any special clues for building a working 64 bit library for PPC?
Why doesn't Apple support this? I would imagine performance would be better on crypto operations.

Compilation problem for 64-bit

Hi,
I am converting my application from 32-bit to 64-bit. When I compile one of my projects with "-xarch=v9 -fast" option, it generates .o files of 32-bit(varified by file command). If I remove -fast option, the it generates 64-bit .o files.
Can anybody tell me, how to build for 64-bit with -fast option.

By changing the order, it worked fine. But now still I'm getting error while linking.
While linking it gives the following error.
ld: fatal: /users/aknanda/myapp/obj/SunWS_cache/CC_obj_8/8GUY2EKcTAmGapxEt9Oo.o: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
I varified that some of the .o files inside the "SunWS_cache/CC_obj_8" folder were of 32-bit.
I deleted all the fies from the SunWS_cache folder, rebuild the application. Before the linking starts, I have varified that all the files inside the "SunWS_cache/CC_obj_8" were of 64-bit, but during linking, the linker might re-genarate some of those .o files which are of 32-bit. I am using -xarch=v9 option in the linking also.

An instrument driver is a collection of functions that implement the commands necessary to perform the instrument�s operations. In short, someone read the instrument user manual and implemented some of the functionality in a program for the end user. Instrument drivers are not necessary to use your instrument. With all of this work already done for you in the driver, instrument drivers can significantly reduce development time.
There are example VI's in LV on Instrument Connectivity. If you go to the Help menu >> Examples.. >> I/O, you will see a couple and Examples.. >> Fundamentals for File and String manipulation. I would suggest tweaking them to suit your application. Also the specific command that your instrument responds to can be found from it's manual.

When updating my apps most of the apps start to update but then fail to finish. then i gey the notification that the app cannot be downoded at this time. This has been going on for a bit now.

my apps are not updating when I try it starts to load then quits then i get the msg that the app cannot be downloaded at this time

First check that your device is not full, maybe you may have to delete some photos or apps to make space to do updates. if its not full then you will have to try pluging it into your pc/mac running itunes then doing a backup and restore. Then you should be able to do your updates.
Sorry but i cant think of any other way if its showing as installed already but is not there.

It seems SAP has stopped providing installables for 32 bit windows machines. IS it correct?
If yes which SAP versions can be installed on - Windows server 2003 SP2 (32 bit).
Can we have ECC6 EHP4 based on SQL database on it?

If you read the installation guide then following thing is mentioned there:
As of SAP ERP 6.0 SR3, you must install an SAP ERP system only on 64-bit operating
systems.
For the dialog instance, you can still use a 32-bit operating system. Therefore, you
only see the folder Software Life-Cycle Options on the Welcome screen when you start the
installation from a 32-bit installation master DVD.
You might need to install dialog instances on 32-bit operating systems if you want to
use 32-bit SAP NetWeaver components, such as Adobe document services. However,
first check whether such 32-bit components can run on 64-bit operating systems. If
so, we recommend running these 32-bit components on a 64-bit operating system.

Compiling exiv2 library for use on PPC help

I need to convert the exiv2 metadata library to be compatible for the Mac. I have managed to use x Code to do this for OS X 10.5x on Intel machines but not for use on 10.4x on PPC machines and have failed in my attempts to do so.
If anybody has access to a similar setup which would enable them to compile exiv2 for use on a PPC please could they help.

I'm not really sure what the instructions are for in terms of how to use them, I feel I might just make more mistakes.. like I say I'm not really a developer but need to get this thing compiled for PPC. If you want you can try what I'm going to use it for, its only got an Intel version right now and that's what I need the PPC version for:

Remove the extensions, redownload Safari, reload the extensions.

Adobe CC applications are very large and the base Mac mini isn't a good choice because it has only 4GB of RAM and has a slow standard hard drive. To get the most out of ACC you should upgrade the mini to at least 8GB. I'd also choose an SSD or Fusion drive for better performance.

Go to "control panel" then "add or remove programs". Highlight "Apple software update" Choose "change" click "Repair" This should do the trick. Then download and install iTunes 10.5 again.

Did you unzip the entire contents of the download zip file onto your hard drive before running the installer? You need to do that.
I have installed it myself and it went in just fine.

microsoft website?When I try using it with WL 6.1 sp1 it says it can't load the
driver.I try viewing the class file from the jar file using the jar utility it
gives an unknown Zip format error.Anybody has any solution for this ?If anybody
has managed to work with this microsoft driver i will be grateful if they provide
me with a solution.

You may want to download the driver again and install it again.
heres a sample xml tag in the config.xml:

ensure that you follow the instructions from Microsoft. For using 2000
driver you will need to have
Install_dir/lib/msbase.jar and Install_dir/lib/msutil.jar in addition to
