THey over charged me they say a game price is $5.43 at a discount but yet charged me $10 and then $23 dollars and then another $5.43 what do I do being that they don't answer they phone.

Definitely a phishing email. It's total nonsense. Delete all emails from Apple, Amazon, Paypal, your bank, and every other email that asks for your personal details. Any outfit you deal with are well aware of the necessary data, and have no need for you to tell them again.

If these charges are being made to a credit or debit card, the most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company or bank and report the unauthorized charges. That company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account and it will be up to your bank to handle.

Has anyone been able to get a repair/proper fix from Apple for their LCD?

The more I use my Macbook Pro while traveling the more i notice the 'sparkly/grainy' display. Compared to the White/Black Macbook it is obviously noticable what i'm talking about - especially on white backgrounds. My question is - has anyone been able to get a proper repair/fix for this common problem for the Core 2 Duo 15" Macbook Pro's?
I normally have my Macbook Pro connected to an external display but when i do take it along when I travel it stands out more and more every time.
Is Apple going to issue a 'recall/repair' for their customers who bought their Macbook Pro's? What am I to do here, When i need to use my laptop when I travel I can't take the annoyance of using this LCD screen.

Yes, I can CLEARLY see it, it's like wearing glasses that are filthy. The laptop is one week old and I could see it from after the 802.11n upgrade. This is not all that zoomed, really. To me it looks like a video memory problem, not a LCD problem. The problem is the same if I connect an external DELL monitor. Also very visible there. Also very visible if I change resolutions or number of colours. The main reason I believe it's a video memory thing is that when I move a window, it changes from white to, well... yellow and red. You've checked the purchase history on your account to see what app(s) they are from ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. And you haven't got any auto-renewing subscriptions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098 ?

Yes, my first post is all about how darn iffy the adaptors are and I have two of them to return now.
I question your answer because I am betting that four drives that are in one enclosure NOT all RAIDed together as one drive, but as four separate drives that those four drive will count as four devices. The daisy chain that I had going had eight drives in TWO quad boxes, four drives in TWO dual drives and another drive in a single enclosure. A total of five “devices” if you will, but also a total of 13 drives that were usually in this daisy chain.
Both of the Apple branded Thunderbolt to FireWire adaptors chocked BIG TIME on this and it works no problem on my older MBP. You basically can not use a new Mac when you are connected to a daisy chain like this!
Just checked the Apple website and indeed, I can get a new MBP with FireWire 800, just not with the Retina display! I wish that I would have known this five months ago before this all started!

I just got my first iPhone and am seeing an issue: not all Facebook contacts are being synced; specifically, only 27 out of 254. I’ve been reading posts about this here, and it appears a good number of people are seeing this same problem, including a friend of mine with a 5S running iOS 7. It appears people are under the impression this is due to a change Facebook made, and that only contacts with specific info showing on their profiles will now be synced. I’ve done some testing, and it does at least appear that only Facebook contacts showing an email address on their timeline - other than their @facebook.com address – are synced to my iPhone. Thing is, Facebook contact sync works effortlessly and perfectly for all contacts both on my Windows Phone and on another friend’s old Android phone. It therefore appears this is either an Apple or an Apple combined with Facebook issue, and not a general issue with access to Facebook contact info. I’m primarily interested in fixing this so that each of my contacts show their Facebook profile photo (which also worked effortlessly and perfectly on my Windows Phone).
I’ve tried various potential solutions like adding Facebook emails to contacts, but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone been able to get this to work? If not, and this is a universal problem with iOS 7+ and Facebook, I’m surprised more people aren’t up in arms and reporting it to Apple and Facebook as something they’d like to see fixed?

I had no issues activating my iPhone 4s. I just hooked it up to my computer and it did the rest. It was pretty easy and this was my first iPhone, I had the Motorola Droid 1 before that.
Although I was experiencing problems with calls going straight to Voicemail, even though I wasn't on the internet or doing anything on the phone, so I just got off the phone with Verizon and they had me punch in numbers to reprogram the phone and that seems to have done the trick (i hope).
I don't know if the above issue happened during the initial activation or if it was just a separate fluke, but there you go. You shouldn't experience any difficulties in setting up the phones.

I should add that I got my phone in NOV and so I'm not sure if something changed in the activation process that made it faulty. I'm just reading the thread about people having issues activating the phone over the holidays.

Has anyone found an answer for apple tv home sharing?

Iv just started using the apple tv 2nd generation. Im connected to a wireless network and streaming from youtube etc works fine.
So far no computer has been recognised by the atv2. Iv tried turning off firewalls but no change, i have the latest updates for itunes and atv2 but nothing. I checked the network ip addresses, all the computers working off the same accounts have the address 192.168.1.2 ,3 , 4 etc and the atv is 5 so i think that means theyre on the same network.
I have feeling the homesharing function could be the problem because none of the computers are picking up each others libraries or recognising any other devices (atv included) at all in the itunes device bar. Also, the homesharing icon disappears from all computers once you sign in.
Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone been able to fix these problems? Id really really appreciate it.

Since I got my Apple TV2 I have had variable success with home sharing. My current set up is talktalk router (being used as a modem with wifi off), LAN connection to airport extreme (bridge). Apple TV connected to airport extreme via ethernet cable, imac, iphone, mac mini connecting to airport by wifi. There is a talktalk firewall on the modem but nothing on any of my devices or the airport extreme. Home sharing is on, the sleep settings are wake for network access. Tried Apple TV2 wireless but same problems.
At all times all my devices can access the internet via the airport extreme but the apple TV keeps loosing the imac library. Off/On of itunes sometimes helps but only reliable solution is to disconnect imac from network and reconnect.
When I use my macmini upstairs home sharing works fine with no problems so I would think the problem lies with homesharing and the apple TV. Very occasionally (much less than apple TV losing library) the imac loses internet although appears connected to airport with all lights green. iMac airport off/on also resolves this problem.
Any suggestions?

Safari slow - has anyone talked to someone at Apple?

After reading several posts, it seems that safari loading slowly (if at all), etc. may be a large problem for many since late last week sometime. Has anyone been able to get through to Apple or received any info. about the problem? I tried to call but the wait right now is very long.

Constant page errors:
'page not found'/'server not found', even though trying it again connects - happened numerous times on the apple site.
Many timeouts - lots of spinning
Stylesheets not loading
Numerous errors with php and sql sites
Text displaying as italic gibberish although web page source code displays correctly
URL's are no longer saved in the "Get Info' comments box on downloads
Slow, slow, slow
Massive memory usage
Crashing
What's happened to Safari? It used to be so fast and reliable. I'm really annoyed it no longer saves urls in the comments field. I've used Camino for the same websites that Safari wouldn't load properly and Camino loaded them perfectly, without error.
I've emptied the cache, rebooted, reset, fixed permissions - it's still slow and buggy. It's not my network connection, as I can use other browsers without these problems. A month ago I wiped my drive and did a clean install of Tiger, so there shouldn't be any issues there.
I was thinking of reinstalling the version of Safari that came with the Tiger install, as that version was working great, but that's obviously a less than ideal solution. It looks like I'll have to use another browser until they get this fixed. Could it be because I'm not using an Intel Mac?

When I download the update at work (Modena, Italy) I keep getting this file, no matter how many times I try to download it, but if I download the update at home (Cento, Italy) the file is bigger and I can mount it without problems.
I asked two friends to try to get it and one of them from Reggio Emilia (Italy) got the right DMG, the other from Padova (Italy) got the corrupted DMG and the "not recognized" error. We have all different ISP so I can not tell if it's ISP related.
I may be wrong but couldn't it be that some server in the Apple's CDN has got the corrupted copy of the update and serves it to users requesting the file from some specific locations?
Anyway, I opened an incident with Apple through Express Lane that has now been escalated.
I'll report back their findings as soon as they reply to me.

I have also experienced this. I've downloaded the 'No Surprises' ringtone by Radiohead three times and every time I get charged for the ringtone by iTunes and every time it disappears after a while. This is really strange... I haven't talked to anyone at Apple about this, but I checked these forums out just now and, it seems, I'm not the only one with this problem.
I'm using my brand new iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.1.1 and I'm thinking it's a software-related problem too...
