Has this option been removed from iTunes?

I'm trying to play video podcasts without having them run in a separate window. Before, I could simply run a video podcast and have the video play in the Now Playing box in the lower left corner of iTunes. Now, when I try to X out of the separate window, the video just stops instead of moving to the Now Playing box. How do I change this?

iTunes Preferences -> Playback -> Play movies -> in the Main window

Have you deleted the song from the iPod itself? Go to the songs list and swipe left on the song title. A "Delete" option should come up allowing you to directly delete the item from your iPod....

I believe you are right…and thanks for posting…hadn't noticed until you asked the question. Maybe it's there hiding in plain sight, but I couldn't find it. A search on MPEG in the new User Guide actually comes up with one reference to MPEG1 as a setting (p 111), but that may simply be a vestige of the previous editions.
What do you need MPEG1 for? Could MP4 work?

I've installed Acrobat XI and could not find LC Designer in its folders.
Has it been removed from Acrobat distributions? Is it only availabe as a LiveCycle module now?

No, it is not included in Acrobat 11 and is available separately. If you had Acrobat 10 installed, installing Acrobat 11 removes it but you are elgibile for a free copy of the latest version, but you have to request it.

Has this feature been removed?

On the eMac system preferences sound panel, there is an option on the 'Audio in' tab to have anything inputted play out of the speakers, it was a checkbox which worked perfectly fine. It's a very important part of the audio setups of the eMacs in my college's music technology lab.
I have an iMac G5, but on the same panel there is no such checkbox, and therefore I'm not going to be able to set my audio up as I would like.
Does anybody know why this feature has been removed? Or if it hasn't and I'm just being stupid?
And if anyone could recommend a free download program that I could use to route my audio input straight out of the internal speakers which could run in the background then please help me.

I think I found it for you
I just downloaded another Rogue Amoeba program and installed it to try it on my system. It works fine.
I plugged my walk-man into my iMac G5's audio input, and it works just fine with this program.
You just run the program, and let it run in the back-ground. It has a button on it to enable pass through.
With that button clicked, it plays the music from my walk-man through the computer's speakers.
The program is called "LineIn"

Has This Topic Been Pulled From The FCE Forum?

I have just rceived a new email notifying me that "Protected ACC Files in FCE" has just been updated.
However, when I clicked on the link I got an error message saying I did not have permission to view it. It doesn't appear to be in the forum any more.
Has it been removed for some reason?

I would hazard a guess because it discussed breaking copy protection.

ITunes freezes when I try to find songs that's been removed from iTunes media 'locations' but the songs are still on the computer..

iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

Music has been removed from iTunes but still shows on iPad. It does not give me the option to hold and swipe to delete from my iPad.

I have removed all unwanted music from my itunes library and then synced my ipad but the music is still there? I tried to delete off the ipad by holding the song down to get the delete but it the delete option isn't there. Nothing happens. How can I remove the unwanted music from the ipad.

If I turn it off can I still sync new music that I buy and want on all devices?

Podcast has been removed from itunes

Hi, i have been trying to submit my latest podcast episode to to itunes for the past month using podcast maker, which at first kept rejecting it saying 'error 1008' check out the screen shot below. I have just recently found out that my podcast is not appearing in itunes at all now. When i try to submit my podcast feed, itunes is not recognising it.

Ive been in touch with itunes and they said the podcast hasnt been deleted :-)
But when using podcast maker and trying to 'publish' it asks you for the 'protocol' as seen in the picture below. I know the .mac one does not work anymore but when i try using mobileme it says it isnt the right password, but i know for a fact that it is cos that what ive used to transfer all my info from mobileme to icloud. I had a problem with mail and spoke to an advisor who told me drag the mail icon from the hidden libary to the desktop, this then regerated a new mail icon which then incuded icloud. Not sure what im supposed to do about this situation though, and if it has any resembelance?
As you can see in the second picture regarding selecting FTP in the protocol, im not sure what info to input into the 'website' 'server' and 'path' sections. How can i get this info?

Why has QLOGIC 1280 been removed from Kernel 2.6.6 & 2.6

Hi folks,
I upgraded to the latest 2.6-scsi kernel and all of a sudden, no boot. After looking at the .config it appears that the qlogic-1280 support has been taken out. Now I understand that I can also recompile the kernel but is where could I have read about these changes before applying the package?

theoretically you should be able to find such info in the cvs "changelog" for this kernel. i usually use the web interface for the cvs as you can use the colour coded diff features.

Has Bigraphbean.jar been removed from Jdeveloper?

I am trying to show graph in a JSP (without using DataControl). And I found that, we can do it using oracle.dss.thin.beans.graph.ThinGraph
However the jars required for the same seems missing in latest version of JDeveloper.
e.g bigraphbean-nls.zip;
bigraphbean.jar;
jewt4.jar;
LW_PfjBean.jar;
share.jar;
is missing from Latest Jdeveloper.
It seems Oracle has refactored the graph component.
Is there, another way, where I can use oracle Graphs inside a plain JSP (not the JSF )?

I have already tried the latest dvt with faces. Its awesome.
But unfortunately, the browser that we work on (stone aged IE6) is not supported.
So i guess, we will have to stick to old Jdev version.
BTW, is migration from old style to new supported (if in future we plan to do that)?

Podcast Removed from iTunes

My podcast has been removed from iTunes, and I don't know why.
If you were to do a Google search, you can easily find it, and the following link is provided:
itunes.apple.com/ie/podcast/arc-light-stories/id404452832. However, if you open that link in iTunes you are told that the podcast no longer exists.
Is it permanently gone even though Google can still find this link?
The feed for the podcast is arclightstories.com/podcast/feed.xml, and it has been working fine.
I've been using Podcast Generator to create the feed and send it to iTunes.
Is there any way to restore it to the store without losing my subscribers?
Any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.

Your podcast does appear to have been removed from the Store, There's no real way of knowing why - it might even be an error - a quick look at the feed suggests that it's unlikely that it's a matter of unacceptable content or copyright violation.
You could try emailing Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com but you likely won't get a helpful answer, in which case you will have to re-submit it as a new podcast. You will need to change the title slightly or you will be told it has already been submitted, and it's a good idea to keep the feed filename.
Your subscribers can still see your feed - the Store is not involved once they have subscribed - and you can move them to another feed by following the instructions here:

"Holy Cornholio" REMOVED from iTunes

The Beavis and Butthead episode "Holy Cornholio" (episode #4) has been removed from iTunes from the final season. I can download/view the other episodes I have purchased, but this one seems to no longer be in the iTunes database. What happened? How do I get a refund on the purchase if it is no longer going to be made available to those who purchased it??

You will need to ask the TV company why it's been removed, and whether they have any plans to put it back in your country's store - if you do get contact iTunes Support and if they reply you are likely to only be told that it's not in the store, and they won't know if it will be put back.
