Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -
I had an email up on my laptop and ipad at the same time... froze the ipad mail
So, yes, dumb of me.
I was working on a message, saved it to drafts, then forgot I'd been working on the same message on the laptop.
I've tried to cancel, send. I've deleted my account on Ipad, reloaded the account. The message is still there.
Is there a way to start mail on the Ipad to load up before the message can load?Not too hard I hope.

i have a macbook pro. i want to connect it to projector and i have a minidisplay to vga adapter. i could connect my MBP to benq projector successfully and for all other displays( Monitors). but when i connect it to optoma projector, MBP detects the display as OPTOMA XGA but nothing on bigger screen. i tried changing the resolution and refresh rate also but no changes.
In my office we got benq projectors , for that it is working very well.(plug and play).
and also i want to say that there is no problem with the optoma projector seems, because all other windows laptops are working well with that.
i was struggling with this since one month. i googled it could not find anything supportive for my problem. please help me regarding this. i am new to apple. i hope there must be genius around here.

I need to know which MacBook Pro you have. Only mid-2010 and later MBP's transmit sound through MiniDisplay Port to HDMI. I have no information about the Mac Pro, so you might want to go to that Forum and ask there. -

Move the entire iTunes library to an external drive, launch iTunes with the Option key held down, choose that library, and back it up to a second external drive.

I have one Icloud account for my iPhone 6 plus and my ipad. I have no stoage left. So if I set up an Icloud account for the ipad it will have its own storage then I can take it off and open up some storage on my phone.
In case you're not clear - iPad/iPhone storage, and iCloud storage, are totally separate. Buying more iCloud storage does not give you more storage space on your device. Your device has a fixed storage space for apps and data (e.g., 16GB - which is more like 12GB in real terms). iCloud storage just allows you to store more documents, mail, photos, etc, in the cloud.

Webmail is the term used for the web page version of email (versus using an email client). As such, it is not "delivered" to you, you have to log in to the web page to get it.
But if you are talking about email being deliverd to your email client, be it on the iPad or your laptop, it will delivered to all that are configured to receive it. It is totally unrelated to being on the same wifi connection. You could be at Starbucks with your iPad while your laptop is sitting at home and both will get the same email. So, for it to be delivered only to your iPad, you would have to delete your email account from the Mail app (assuming this is the client you are using) on your laptop. -
I have an itunes acct - with my iphone and ipad linked. Also my daughter has an ipod -so I orignally linked it to my acct and it identified it as MY ipod.

I have 1 itunes library with a phone and ipod linked to it. My daughter just got a touch. She would like to have some of my music downloaded into her touch. How can I do that without having her linked to my library?
Sync all the devices to the same computer.
If you do not want her apps, then simply do not select them to sync to your device.
Each device will only sync what you select to sync.

If you use the same Apple ID for iCloud on each device, yes. However, you can use the same Apple ID for iTunes content on each device, but different Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, etc., on each device. That way, you can have whatever iTunes content you want on each phone, but keep all of the other data separate. You can create another Apple ID here:

Hi I have an iPad with iOS 612 and am trying to connect a wireless printer, I don't think it's doing it because I don't have iOS 10 or more. Is this right?.
If you want to use AirPrint - the buit in feature in iOS that allows you to print directly from the iPad without another app - you need to be using an AirPrint Printer. There is a list of those printers here.

If your printer is not on the list, you may still be able to use your current printer, but will need to purchase a printing app for the iPad from the App Store.
I don't understand you reference to iOS 10 unless you mean OS X10 for Mac. -
I downloaded a ringtone last week for my iphone5 and it was active on my phone until I did a sync on the weekend with my laptop and now I find the ringtone has disappeared how do I reload it without being charged again? I still have the tax invoice.

I had to restore my iPhone 4 and now all my pictures are gone. I don't have them backed up to my laptop, and I thought that they automatically backed up to iCloud but I'm not sure. I had a lot of pictures that i desperately want to get back PLEASE HELP
You should be importing pics to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Nothing should only be on your iphone. You should keep everything on your computer.
If you have failed to do this, then they are gone.
You can try restoring from backup.
