Have just bought my youngest an Ipod - set up new user account on the computer, created a new email account. However, cannot get this Ipod to connect to the Itunes store. What am I doing wrong? Have spent hours on this!!!!

have just bought my youngest an Ipod. Have set up a new user accout as suggested by the man in the Apple store, got a separate email account and everything seemed ok. HOwever, cannot get it to connec to the Itunes store so cannot redeem any vouchers. I have now spent hours on this and am rapidly losing patience! Can anyone help please.

I dug a little deeper and found this:
It is the Voice Memos in the Playlist check Box. Uncheck it and re-sync.
It helped this time on my iTouch and my iPhone! At least this time.

I am proud possessor of a new MacBook Air with Mac OS X 10.7. Up to now, I used a PowerBook with Mac OX X 10.4.11. Although the two macs - old and new one - are connected via the same WLAN network, I cannot get the migration assistant going. The two cannot find each other, although they are only 5 centimetres apart....what am I doing wrong? Do I need an update for the PowerBook? And if yes, which one? Or should I give up?

When i try to update my iphone with the new software, it will give me a message that says connection time timed out, and then it says some other little things about a network not having a connection. i checked all of that and it is all fine. I will try am explain what I see: I hooked up my I Pod Clicked on Music checked Sync Music 1909 Songs select Playlist, Artists, albums, and genres checked Include music videos Playlists checked 50's Music checked 70's Music checked 80's Music checked 90's Music checked 2000 Music checked 2010 Music These are songs that I downloaded onto my I Tunes. I bought me a new computer but when my data was transferred from old computer to new computer a lot of my songs on my hard drive were lost, but they were able to save all my songs on I tunes. Make sure that both the web browser you're using and its Flash plug-in are up to date. Google Chrome has its own Flash plug-in it updates on its own. Firefox, IE and other have separate plug-ins.

Create a test file with Text Edit (or any other program) and save it to your desktop.
Run Time Machine from the menu bar.
When the Time Machine icon in the menu bar stops spinning, drag your test file to the trash.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Murray is right. Padding (and margins) is added to the width. However, when using percentages, you should never use figures that add up to exactly 100%.
Browsers need to convert the percentages to pixels. Because pixels must be whole numbers, some percentages are rounded up, which results in the final element dropping down below its neighbours. With percentages, it's much safer to use values that add up to 98% (99% often works, but 98% is safer).

If you are in the US or Canada you can download purchased music from the Purchased link in the iTunes store.
Otherwise if the disk drive is OK in your Old PC you can remove it and put it in a USB drive enclosure and then use it as an external disk on your new PC, then you copy the muisc from there.
