Having Troubles Gettin Lines Of Input!?!?!?!!?
I'm trying to build a command line application (named Assemble) which will read (from standard in) a tagged "discussion" stream and print a (somewhat) organized version of the tagged part of the discussion (to standard out).... but i'm having trouble getting multiple lines of input.. i tried a while statement that looked like this... while ( (input = in.readline()) != null ) and all i got was every other line of input to get displayed to the screen or to a file... how can i fix this??? i had the while statement above input = in.readLine();

Recording line-level input with Griffin iMic
I'm having trouble recording line-level input from a stereo system with a Griffin iMic. Even though all extraneous inputs have been deactivated, I'm still getting a slight feedback hum. slider, mine is greyed out.

(I know this is months after your post.)
Control of the iMic volume is in the Preferences pane called "Sound". You can set the output and the input levels there.
Remember the iMic's position switch works only for the imput, either close to the microphone icon for "microphone" or away from it for "line in".
I use the iMic exclusively.

Trouble getting lines not to overlap after alignment
Hello,
I'm having trouble getting lines to align so that there's no overlap. In the screenshot below, you can see that there are tiny black outline jutting over or above the colored lines. I've played with the corner, stroke and alignment settings to no avail. Any ideas?That maybe an artifact that will not print did you try to zoom to high magnifaction?

I am having trouble sending an audio signal from my computer (mac pro early 2009) to my TV. Is there some interface or adapter that allows /enables the audio input from my computer to be sent to the TV (R,L signal?) any suggestions
just the audio, eh?. If you were using DVI or DisplayPort that might be different, but for audio alone, it shouldn't be that hard. Just grab a 3.5 mm stereo plug to 2 rca cables adapter. Plug the smaller end into the back of your Mac Pro (or the Front), where you see either the headphone or speaker icon). Alt-click on the speaker icon at the top of your screen to show all audio inputs and outputs. Make sure it's set to Line Out. Plug the red and white end into the audio in jacks on the back of your tv and set it to the correct input. I don't know if your tv will allow just the audio to play. Usually one has to connect up something else, but hopefully I'm wrong. If you were using DVI, or DisplayPort, you'd need an active DVI--HDMI adapter or a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, but

Having trouble inputting email in iCloud...
I'm having trouble inputting my email address in iCloud. It says "Your email address must be less than 21 characters", mine is 25 characters, and I can't change it because it's a standardised work email. Can I somehow bypass this?

Re the contacts - I have restored from my back-up then, merged with the cloud again and the same thing has happened - all my contacts have disappeared and I am left with only Apple Inc. -
Since downloading the new operating system on my iPhone 4S, I'm having trouble with my phone messaging. I enter a number or input a number from my contacts and send my message. I then receive a error message stating the message can't be sent and it shows a set of "1s" were added in front of the number I entered. Ex: 1 (1) xxx-xxx-xxxx. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?
I realize this. When calling prepaid cus service it only gives you the option to input your #. If you dont the system hangs up on you. When I input my number the system doesnt recognize it and hangs up on me.

I'm having Trouble with a Simple Histogram
The program as a whole is supposed to read a text file, count the number of words, and ouput it. For example, "The The The pineapple pineapple" should ouput "The 3, Pineapple 2" I've gotten as far as dumping the tokens into an array and creating 2 empty arrays of the same size(word, count), but I don't know how to do the double loop that's necessory for the count. On the problem at hand, I'll post a cut down example of what you want, and you can look at the javadocs, and find out how it works.
This code uses the auto-boxing feature of 1.5 (even though I don't like it, again it's left as an exercise for you to remove the auto-boxing ;) ) and some generics (you should be able to work out how to use this code in 1.4).

im trying to make some changes on our website (oilfiltercrushers.com). Im using DW CC 2014, 8.8, HP Pavion pc. I am trying to allow the user to input a number from the command line to set up the number of elements in an array. I am having trouble converting the string info to int. Could someone post an example of how this is possible? Or a way to read a string for a numerical value?

Hello,
I am having trouble with my MacBook Air 13 inch June 2012 MacBook Air5, 2 4GB RAM details below in Etresoft report. I recently upgraded to Yosemite and am having system trouble. My computer crashes and I have to force quit to restart. When using webmail there is a black screen for a split second between pages. This did not happen before. I am worried that it is not running properly and perhaps I need to revert to the previous operating system. I only have a MacBook Air and no need to share images between a tablet or phone so I did not need the new photo sharing software of Yosemite. I wonder if I don't have enough RAM to run it? I did not run time machine before I made the upgrade as I did not realise the significance of an upgrade as not very Mac literate. Any advice on whether my system is in danger... most appreciated! I am writing a book and making a back up but this machine is my lifeline and my work is conducted through it. It ran perfectly before... the Yosemite upgrade has perhaps highlighted some problems and it has unnerved me!

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
