Header billing plan

hi i am doing a code fro an user exit !! in that by the help of the value in rv45a-kfrel i am checking whether the header billing plan is checked or the item billing plan is checked!! but the problem is that for transactions va21 and va22 the value is getting populated but for transactions va01 and va02 the rv45a-kfrel is always getting unchecked i.e the value is not coming !! can u guys plss tell me wat can be the reason!!! n wat other field can hold the value for this billing plan. rv60f-kfrel is also not working!!

Well, sort of. However, as part of a month-end procedure, I'm having them run V23 to display and ideally remove any billing blocks for items that are due to be billed that month. To use VA05 would be cumbersome, as this client has about 24 divisions. I suppose I could configure multiple divisions to be used in VA05, but I'm really looking for a standard report before I embark upon workarounds.
Thanks! I appreciate your response!

  • Header Billing Plan - credit memo and debit memo

    Folks,
I have the following scenario here.
I have a billing plan order (BP) - with header billing plan.
I have three lines in the billing plan
    1) $5000 ...FAZ (Billing Request)
    2) $10000...L2 (Debit Memo)
    3) $3000...G2 (Credit Memo).
    Once i go to VF04,
I have all three billing due. However, only billing type FAZ has the header conditions (PR00, AZWR, TAXES) populated and net value $5000. (Populated against AZWR)
Both L2 and G2 have no header conditions populated and the net value is 0.
The copy control is set up the same for all and all have same document pricing procedure (A).
Is it something basic I'm missing or is there anything else I have to do?
Or pls let me know the process for debit memo / credit memo with a billing plan.
Pls respond ASAP as we have the Proof of Concept scheduled sooner.
Helpful answers will be rewarded promptly!
    Thank You,

    Hello,
I think that basys of this process is not correct: the purpose of billing plan is to define different invoicing schedules, typically for businesses working with projects, and on top of that, billing plan is the only standard way to manage advance payment and automatically determine the settlement of the advance payments on final invoices.
For this, in my opinion it's not correct entering in the billing plan items with Credit Memo or Debit Memo request. You should have only andvance payment items and invoice items (document category = M).
In a common invoicing process, you can have the following steps:
    - Down payment request (FAZ);
    - Invoice (F1) reduced by the downpayment amount (if that is the case);
Then you can create a Credit Memo request, against the Invoice, if for some-reason you have to revert back something to the customer; or you can create a Debit Memo request if you have recharge the customer with reference to a document already invoiced. I think that invoice type G2 and D2 should not be "planned" steps in an invoicing process. On top of that, it's not advisable creating Credit Memo requests with reference to an invoice containing downpayment clearing item, as it would lead to incorrect postings into accounting.
    Hope to be useful.
    Best regards,
    Andrea

  • Header Billing Plan Net Value is blank- Any solution?

    Dear Gurus,
I have a Periodic Billing plan and have entered the pricing values on at item level. The item billing plan is ok, but I can not see the net value on the header billing plan, is blank
Does anyone know what the issue can be?
    Thanks
    Iñigo

    Hi,
If you get the values correctly at the item level, I think that is correct. You have not enabled the billing plan at the header level. The header BP will be the total of all item BP, only if BP is enabled at header level also. Otherwise the data will be blank in the header BP screen.
Please enable BP at header level and then check how it works.

  • Header Billing Plan check box

    Hi,
Header Billing Plan indicator( check box) functionality and where we can control this check box change mode or display mode.
    Thanks

    Hi,
If  a billing plan is assigned to Sales Document header and Sales Document Item, When Header Billing Plan indicator( check box) is flagged then billing plan is automatically copied to all the items. I think there is no customisation settings to control this check box.
How ever at item level, we can uncheck this box and maintain a different billing plan for that item.
    Hope this helps.

  • Which Trans. table contain Indicator for billing plan in header

    Hi All,
I wnat to find out how SAP table storage the following field:
In Sales Document Item with billing plan, the reference to the header billing plan 'check box' in the 'Billing plan' screen.
-> Indicator for billing plan in header (RV60F-KFREL)
    Any, Idea?
    Thanks,
    Neil

    Sorry Neil,
that was nonsense: I confused billing plan with installment plan: In telecom, media, utilities and other businesses with many (small) customers, you can use module contract accounting (in connection with SAP business partner). If people can't pay their bill, the company can agree on paying by installments. For this, contract accounting module uses the installment plan. This will split up the debt into slices due i.e. every month. Table fkk_instpln_head is used for this.

  • Item billing plan lines not appearing in billing due list ...

    Hello Team ,
I have one question on service contract billing plan. Contract has status released.
I have one contract which has header billing plan that is applicable at line item also.
    1. At line item level billing plan two items are due for billing but in billing due list this line item does not appear. Some of the lines in Item billing plan are already billed.
Also at item billing plan there is no check (tick mark) for Header Billing Plan.
Can some one suggest what are the possible checks for item billing plan not appearing in billing due list.
    Thanks ,
    Nitn Patki

    Hi Nitin,
Check the status of the line items.

    David
Try running reports SDVBUK00 and RVV05IVB  to correct the status and/or billing index after carefully reading their documentation.
    Hope this helps.

  • Billing Plan Start Date not copied to Sales order from Service Contract

    Hi
We are developing a process of Creation of Service Contract and then a order confirmation.
Now based on the Order Confirmation will bill based on the Bill Plan.
The Bill plan start date in contract header is not flowing to Sales Order header while creating with reference.
Then navigating to Header Billing plan and if we input the date the billing plan dates are displayed.
We checked the copy control settings and seems like the date is not copied. Is this a standard behaviour.
If so then do we have any work arounds to achieve the same. Because the contract start date can change before confirmation.
So business wants a sales order confirmation to be created after contract creation and bill periodically as per the Sales order instead of contract.

    Hi,
Appreciate ur quick response. But instead of FKDAT i need the FPLA-BEDAT to be flowed to Billing Plan.Right now iam entering the following date manually at header.Instead if it copies from Contract header then manual entry could be neglected.
Is it possible with the same routine to code with the above mentioned FPLA-BEDAT.

  • Debit Billing Plan Line - Contract

    Hi,
    Regarding Billing Plans:
How do we create Debit Billing Plan Line in Contract ?
Where do we do the assignemnt of Header Billing Plan and Item Billing Plan ?
Creation of Billing Plan with reference to another - How ?
    Regards

    Hi,
You could change the blling document type for the billing plan line in contract.
The header billing plan will be copied to item if you don't do any change.
If you want to have different billing plan on item level, please check the indicator "Header billing plan" off on item billing plan tab.
The indicator could only be set before first billing.
    Thanks and best regards,

  • Link between Contract line and the Billing Plan number

    Hi All,
I have a requirement which needs a link between the Contract Line item and its Billing Plan Number. I basically have to find out the contracts which have a billing block. So a invoice would not have been created to that line item.
Please let me know if such a link exists.
    Thanks in advance,
    jr.

    Hello
In table <b>VBKD </b>(Sales Document: Business Data) you will find the link between the contract (VBELN) and the billing plan (FPLNR). If POSNR = '000000' then this is the billing plan of the contract header.
The billing block can be found in VBAK-FAKSK.
Finally, billing plan details can be found in table FPLA. If FPLA-RFPLN is filled then the item billing plan is linked to the header billing plan.

  • Billing Plan Data not getting copied from Contract to SO

    Hi ,
I have a Business requirement in which i ham supposed to create a Contract and then release/sales orders with reference to this contract. Whle creating the SO, the header billing plan dates are not getting copied from COntract to Sales Order.
Please guide me on how can this be done.
    Regards,
    Madhav

  • SO billing plan

    Hi experts,
Iam trying to extract the sales order details.
    Where can i find <b>"Billing date"</b> and <b>"Billing Value"</b> for parituclar item?
Iam looking for tables OR FMs.
Billing plan: va02->so number->double click on item->billing plan tab->billing dates.
    Thanks
    kaki

    Hello Kaki
I assume that the fields you are looking for are in table FPLT (Billing Plan: Dates -> per item):
    - FKDAT (Settlement date for deadline)
    - FAKWR (Value to be billed/calc. on date in billing/invoice plan)
The billing plan dates per item can be read using function module <b>SD_SALES_BILLINGPLAN_READ</b>. This function module has the following check at the beginning:
      IF I_VBELN NE VBAK-VBELN.
        MESSAGE A044 WITH I_VBELN VBAK-VBELN.
      ENDIF.
Thus, before calling SD_SALES_BILLINGPLAN_READ you have to call
    SD_SALES_DOCUMENT_READ
to fill the global variable VBAK in the function group.
    A few final remarks:
    - As already mentioned the billing plan per item (or header) can be found in VBKD-FPLNR
    - The billing plan details are in FPLA (header) and FPLT (dates), credit card details can be found in FPLTC
    - If an item billing plan is linked to the header billing plan then FPLA-RFPLN is filled with the header billing plan number
To search for billing plan related function modules use either
    - SD_BILLING*     or
    - BILLING_*

  • Billing plan (Downpayment) for saved and open sales orders at header level?

    Hi gurus,
I have configured billing plan in my SD environment at Item Level.
I want to change it to header level.
    Questions:
1- When I make the changes to update the system to have billing plan at header level for future sales orders, is that possible for me to change all my saved orders and open orders with the new settings so that I can also have those saved and open orders with a billing plan at item level?
2- If that scenario is not possible, could we for example copy the data of a previously saved or open sales order into a new sales order with the new customizing (Billing plan at Header level?)
    Thanks for your input
    Kind regards
    Chris

    Hi
I am afraid you cannot do that converstion for the existing orders. BP at header level are enabled at teh document type level, while BP at item level is done at item category. So both are independent. Mostly it is advisabel to use BP at item level only.
If you are already using item level BP, and want to mvoe to header BP, then only future transactions can be executed with BP at header level. Existing item level BPlans will remain so in the system.

  • Field/Table to change the header tick in sales order billing plan

    Hi SD Guru's
I am using a GUI screen to create standard sales order (VA01). Since my order dates at header and line item level can differ, i want the field name or table name of the header tick which is taken as default from my billing plan in my sales order.
Or is there any setting where my billing plan at item level is not defaulted from my header.
Its really urgent. Would appreciate your reply.
    Regards
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
I'm unsure whether this will help you or not. In VOV7, choose your It Cat, in detailed screen of It Cat settings there's a checkbox with "Business data" when not checked which will allow you to change Data at Item level.
    Regards
    SD
