Headers/footers in table

Hello,
I want to create a table like a bank receipt. For the calculation of the sums I have already found a solution
In the header
Date | Credit | Debit | Currency
Total | sum | | EUR
So I fact I want two headers
In the footer I want to have to start amount (but this I heave already found)

  • How to insert different headers/footers according to recto/verso format in Pages 5.0 ?

    I formatted a document on Pages '09 with two different headers and footers because I print it recto/verso. When I opened this document with Pages 5.0 my headers/footers do no longer appeared and when I try to re-put it, I did not find where I could make them different according to a recto/verso format. Previously this function was situated in the section tab of the inspector. Does this function still exist ? If yes, where ?

  • Different headers & footers on odd & even pages in Pages 5 ?

    Hello all,
    I just upgraded to Pages 5 in Mavericks.
    How can I have different headers & footers on odd & even pages ?
    For example a header containing odd numbers on the right page and even numbers on the left page.
    I looked carfully in the menus & panels but di not found how to create document for two-sided printing
    I used this function many times in Pages 09 !

    I recently upgraded to Acrobat 9.4.2 and now cannot save welcome page, headers, footers in portfolios I create. Portfolios created in previous verious 9.X.X. properly display welcome page, headers, footers. Anyone with ideas. Is there some setting I am missing?

    Hey guys,
    Im hoping someone can help me.....and please excuse my
    ignorance as I am very new to RoboHelp and not totally "Computer
    Savvy". I didnt even know it exsisted until I got this new job! I
    dont really have time to go searching to see if this has already
    been answered somewhere!
    I am using RoboHelp to prepare a Help Document and I have
    inherited it half way through (with basically no training)..
    I am using Windows XP with Office 2003 and I am having issues
    coverting the document to word (using the Printed Documentation
    option under Single Source Layouts in the Projects tab).
    We have templates set up that have a header & footer
    assigned to it and when it creates the Word doc the Headers &
    Footers are not there, they are just there as headings (can confirm
    that they are actually set up as "Headers" and "Footers" not just
    headings in the body")...How do I get these to convert to the Word
    Doc as they are in RoboHelp??
    Also, when it converts, the TOC that comes out in the Printed
    Doc has a weird numbering format for the Topics under each
    "Chapter" ...it basically goes 1,2,3,4 then to the next chapter
    1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5...it looks really messy & not user
    friendly...this is when I select the "Limit TOC depth" to 3...if I
    do it to 2 its fine, but then you cant see all the topics under
    that "chapter"
    Hopefully someone understands what I am trying to get at with
    my 2 queries (from a dumb persons point of view haha)
    If anyone can help me in an "Idiots way" without getting too
    technical that would be great!

    Welcome to the forum.
    The first point is covered in Printed Documentation on my
    site.
    The second one must be down to the name convention you have
    used for topics as RH does not apply any numbering. You could
    change the numbers in the print layout and that does not affect the
    TOC. The reason you can change the layout and not the TOC is also
    explained in the article.

  • Headers/Footers in Adobe 8

    I am using Adobe 8 Professional and trying to add something to headers/footers. If I add one line of information, the text will be centered (n the center of the header). If I have at least two lines of text, the information will go into the center box, but be left aligned (not centered). Any ideas??? Thanks.

    I work for a large defense contractor and this problem--which did NOT exist in previous versions of Acrobat--is a virtual show-stopper for me (and my colleagues). All of our large documents have left, center, and right headers that are correspondingly justified. The left justification forced by version 8 is so goofy looking that I have to apply headers/footers with a computer that still has version 7 installed! Simon ATS, where do you get your information about version 9. Any comment from Adobe as to why they made this cockeyed change?

    Josh, thanks for responding. Following summarizes my workflow:
    - Files selected via Windows Explorer, "Combine supported files in Acrobat" option.
    -  Select PDF portfolio, Combine.
    -  After portfolio is saved, Acrobat opens in the Home Page view displaying thumbnails of the converted files and Edit Portfolio already selected.
    -  Select Welcome Page, Image and Text insert same.
    -  Select Header, Logo and Structured Text, insert same.
    -  When finished, select Done.
    -  Select Save Portfolio icon.
    -  Deselect Edit Portfolio.
    -  Close Acrobat.
    -  Open portfolio, either double-clicking portfolio file name or starting Acrobat and selecting Open, file name.
    - Acrobat opens portfolio in Home view. The Welcome Page icon is grayed out.
    The above is my normal workflow; however, I observed that if after creating the portfolio's Welcome Page and Header and when exiting the program, if I receive the message "Do you want to save changes to the por tfolio before closing?", the Welcome Page and Headers are in fact saved. This is a very workable solution to the problem for me. There seems to be something going with saving via the icon. If for reason I do not receive the above message and the program exits, the Welcome Page and Headers are not saved.
    My operating system is WIndows XP Pro, SP3. BTW, 9.4.2 works fine on my Windows 7 machine and another XP machine with 9.0. Thanks in advance for your offer to help, but the workaround described above works and lowers my frustrationlevel considerably.

  • Embedding fonts for headers/footers added in Acrobat?

    Is there any way to embed fonts when adding headers/footers using Acrobat's "Add Header and Footer" command, other than running the files through a PitStop profile to correct the problem?
    Background:
    Recently, for the first time, we added footers to PDFs using Acrobat's "Add Header & Footer" command. We used our corporate identity font and placed information outside the trim, in the crop marks area. (We usually put this information in the slug in InDesign, but the printer's required settings did not allow slugs to be turned on.)
    The files were all kicked out by the printer's preflight because the font was not embedded. We've since discovered that our own preflight profile was set to ignore fonts outside of trim when checking for embedding, which is why it got past us.
    We've discovered a number of workarounds. Luckily, we have PitStop, so we created a profile to fix the problem. Our question remains: if Acrobat allows the addition of text to a PDF via headers and footers, why does it not embed the fonts automatically when doing so, when embedding is so crucial to successful output? It's odd that Acrobat has a very useful command that nevertheless breaks the file for output. Were I paranoid, I'd wonder if it was a carefully orchestrated campaign to make the purchase of PitStop not only wise, but required.

    It works providing you have that font name installed on your system.
    Available under the 'Document' section of the fixups ...
    Not major for pre-pressers since they use Pitstop but great for your
    clients since now THEY can fix THEIR problems (even THEIR advertisers
    problems which land on your desk at 5pm) ;-)

  • Printing webpages headers & footers

    Safari will not print headers or footers when a webpage is printed.
    My G4 Mac uses Panther OS X 10.3.9, which uses Safari most recent update of 1.3.1. Safari does list Help on this subject, but it is Safari 2.0. I've tried the directions, but it does not work.
    It is necessary to have the headers & footers listed (it gives the date and the website). Without that option, I am ready to return to Explorer.
    Can anyone help find an answer to this problem?

    I just noticed I myself confused the title of two utilities in my post linking to the shareware utility Safari Extender. I accidentally called it Safari Enhancer, which is an excellent free utility that does other useful things than Safari Extender does. It sounds from your last post, that you have Safari Extender, which is the one you needed for the problem you had.
    I am sorry to have caused this confusion. But I am very glad to hear that you have an answer to your problems.

  • Printing Apple Mail messages: can date headers/footers be printed?

    Hi Folks,
    When printing an email from Eudora, nice headers & footers are added containing the name of the person printing, as well as the date it was printed, and to whom the printed email was from.
    Can headers & footers be added to print jobs from Apple Mail 3.5? I don't see any settings that would enable this functionality.

    Actually, because these folks use a shared printer, it's helpful for a header to say who printed it. Then the clerk can put the printed pages into people's mailboxes.
    So yes, this is very useful, and not redundant in the least. Eudora and other email clients have this, and it's a shame that Apple Mail does not.

    Hi,
      If you like to add a form Header, you will to click on the "click to add header.." text that you see at the top of your form on the first page.
    We do not suppport section headers/footers.  You will need to create them by either inserting an image field or formatted text field as the first element (header) or last element of each page (footer)

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
    Other word processors I've used call them title pages. I guess Pages doesn't call them by a specific name because it deals with them as the first page of any section, of which there could be many in your document.
    Unlike other word processors I've used, Pages doesn't automatically hide the headers & footers on the first page of a section. If you entered data in the header or footer on the first page, that will be displayed & hidden on the remainder. To hide it on the first page, the information must be entered on the second or later page.

  • Setting Two Headers in display Table

    I want to set 2 headers in display table like one is main header and one is sub header. Example is like following:

    I have to generate this type of table using <display:table> tag and also i
    want this both headers to be fixed and the data to be scrolled in page.The data is to be scrollable both horizontally as well as vertically. The header and subheader would remain fixed when vertical scrolling and would scroll with data incase of horizontal scrolling.

    1. have you tried <td colspan=2> ???
    2. have you tried subtables for the subheadings ???

  • Make QM Standard Transactions to be Compliant with Headers/Footers

    We have a requirement where we have to make all the QM related transactions to have Headers and Footers with it. E.g: QA33,
    The constraint is that The Tcode should not be customized to 'Z' or 'Y'.
    The same transactions should contain the headers and footers as per Regulatory Reporting.
    Apart from raising with SAP.
    Can anyone help in this regard.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
    First, for the headers & footers, reduce the size of each to zero in the document inspector. With the layout showing, you'll still see them, but you'll notice they have moved outside of the layout area.
    I mention the layout showing, because to simplify placing text boxes, you want to click outside the layout area to enter object mode. I believe you are inserting text boxes with the cursor active in the main body area. This will result in an object moving inline with the text. To make an object "float" above the text, known in Pages as "fixed on page", you need to either already be in object mode or click on the inline object & change it to fixed on page in the wrap inspector. "Fixed on page" is a misnomer as far as I'm concerned, since to be able to freely move an object around on the page is has to be "fixed."
