I used to have an iphone 3G, i have a lot of purchased items so I was interested to know that when putting them onto my iphone4s using the icloud will i need to pay for them again? i know it sounds silly because youve already paid for the song, but i just wanted to be sure. Many thanks

Try restoring the backup again. Your apps and other purchased media should have been restored from your backup if they were on your old phone when you backed it up.

I have LavVIEW 8.6 full version installed. I tried to upgrade to 8.6 professional version by just installing the new disks, and it didn't perform the upgrade. Do I have to un-install first and re-install, or is there a trick ?

Go to Solution.Look into the License Manager in the National Instruments folder of your Start menu. It is probably just a matter of activating LabVIEW 8.6 and possibly some other features with your new license code instead of your previous full version license code.

I can print the configuration page through the printer queue utility but when I try to print any other way even with txt editor the queue stops

George GovotsisI have the same printer, P1005, and hae been using it with Tiger (PPC), Leopard (PPC and intel), snow Leopard and Lion. What I do know is that it DOES HAVE print bugs in Tiger and, perhaps, Leopard, I had to ALWAYS manually delete print jobs after EVERY print as system did not clean memory. I reported this to Apple, but it seems to be a printer driver issue, unsolved by HP. It was solved in subsequent systems. So, my suggestion is to upgrade to Snow Leopard at least, as you have a core 2 duo 2006 MB, or directly to Lion as most recent, and best fit with printer drivers. You must put at least 2 GB of memory for SL and Lion, best is 4 GB (your model may support 3 GB only if the first core 2 duo series).
Until then, clean printing system by clicking minus button in sys prefs/print.
download last HP printer driver for Tiger,check with their site
install driver or reinstall, even if installed
put printer back again
If it continues to behave as described, then you must delete every print job after completion or upgrade to at least SL. Many say SL is best for that generation, me included. But you must not share this opinion, of course. -

hello all, I am new to this forum and hope to find some help. I have a HP pavillion thats about 2 years old and having a bunch of minor issues and trying to find someone that can help. when i had HP warranty they seemed to do more damage than good. my computer starts up in selective mode always and I dont know much about booting and safe boot. I tried doing a system restore but it starts and will go for days without ever completing, so thats one issue. also I have alot running at startup and not sure what to disable and when i do disable it its still there after a restart. does anyone know a lot about PCs and can help me. I would greatly appreciate it.
1. yes. there's no one place to find out how to do that. you'll need to learn how to use flash software. it's mature software with many features and there's no shortcut to learning how to use it. it would be a surprise if you could build a decent game with those specs in less than 100 hours working with flash.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?

ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. You will have to contact them. Since you are not the original purchaser of the phone and do not have service with whatever carrier it might be locked to, it is highly unlikely you will get it unlocked.
Since it was hacked to unlock it originally, it is highly likely that the phone will become a brick if you attempt to apply a legitimate unlock.
Actually, it is probably already a brick.
There is nothing we can suggest other than to google "iphone dfu mode" and try doing a restore in DFU mode to see if that can bring it back to life. It may. If so, you will then need to work with the carrier it's locked to or sell it and buy a new phone. -
i just got the iphone 4 and my husband already had on. we share an itunes account and i signed up for i cloud and now ALL of my husbands contacts are on my phone ... so I started to delete them (because i thought it would just be off my phone) and he called screaming ..." please stop deleting ... they are coming off my phone!" so two things ... how can i get the contacts back ( i got up to j) AND is there a way to get them off just my phone
Unfortunately there's no way to get back the contacts you deleted unless he backed them up somewhere else. He'll just have to recreate them. This happened because you are both syncing contacts with a shared iCloud account. When you do this, the synced data is merged and any actions you take on one phone (such as deleting contacts) is also reflected on the other. To fix this you both need to have separate iCloud accounts (you can continue to share the same Apple ID for purchasing from the iTunes and app stores). To do this, on your phone go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The other phone will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on your phone using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload your data to your new account. At this point you will have two different iCloud accounts, one for each phone, with identical data on them.
You will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the unwanted data (such as deleting the your husband's contacts from your account, and vice versa). These changes will be reflected on each phone. When finished you will have individual iCloud accounts with just your own data on them. -

I just got the iPhone 5 and took it on a trip and took a bunch of photos on it. I just came home and hooked it up to my Mac for the first time and hit restore. All of my trip pictures disappeared. Is there any way I can retrieve them?
Did you by chance have photo stream turned on? If so then they might be there. When you restored your phone it deleted everything and they will be unretreivable from your computer.

I've had my iTunes account for about a year now, and I just got the iPhone 5s. I logged into my iTunes account on my phone just fine, and all the music I've bought on iTunes has transferred to my phone, but the cds I burned haven't. The sync button is gray so I can't click on it. The songs from the cds on iTunes are checked and should sync but haven't. Please help!
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11) Installed on your computer

i just got the new 5s and when i downloaded my contacts from iCloud a lot of them were missing!!!! i tired to make a new backup from my old iphone but it didn´t worked, what can i do to get all my contacts?
