Help Animating A Logo

Dear Fellow Forum Users
I need help animating this Logo, but I don't know how to use After Effects, I used it a couple of times about two years ago. But I have a project am working on now. So I don't have the time now to learn After Effects from scratch, because of time and so many other projects I have to work on.
So I basically need y'all guys help with a few things I want to do with this logo.
I want to triangles to animate coming from the middle of the screen, then they would all line up back in the center, like one by one.
Then I want the word New Creations Kind come out of the white background.
Three I want to add little motion to the triangles, while there standing and a little extra glare over them.

Well, you decided to jump into the deep end of the pool, and HOW! No knowledge of what must be one of the most complicated applications ever devised... no time to learn... you're really trusting in the Kindness of Strangers here, aren't you?
And how come you got saddled with this over the observance of the birth of out Lord & Savior Jesus Chrst, anyway?
Oh, well.
Make each triangle a separate layer. Use masks if you must to isolate each triangle. Align the anchor point so that it rotates properly to align with the ones below it. Now animate the the rotation property to make them align according to the timing of the animation.
Animate the opacity of the text to make it appear. Put everything on a white background; you can either alter the background color or create a white solid, and put it at the bottom of the timeline, making it the bottommost layer.
If you need any more help than that, you're sunk, I fear. You might be able to insert a table into a Microsoft Word document just by using the help files, but this is After Effects, a far more sophisticated and complex application. You can't go into this thinking, "Hey, how tough can it be just to give a couple of instructions?"
It can be plenty tough, and this may be the day you realize that.

Need Help To Extract Logo from Flash File .swf

I have an attached Flash file that is in
.swf format. There is a N64 logo within this file that I'm

Flash Decompiler Trillix and in the sub-menus it has the
logo listed as a frame.
This is about as far as I have gotten and I'm stuck. Perhaps
someone else knows how to do this a little easier. I just need to

Hello,
I ran into a similar problem a few months ago. I have the
Sothink Flash Decompiler and what I did was turn the SWF back into
a FLA. I then opened it in Flash and then exported what I wanted as
a PNG image.
Decompilers can extract the actual image whether it be jpeg,
gif, png, etc. But when it's listed as a frame(as you mentioned
above) then the method above is probably the best way to get it.

Need help animating line art/paths

Help please...
I am trying to animate a line, to have it tween/morph between a line and a question mark and then back to a line. I've drawn my two shapes in Illustrator as line art (as paths, not as closed shapes), but I'm not seeing the paths as a mask when I paste them into my Solid Layer. The parts of my drawing that have closed shapes come in and form a mask, but not the individual lines/paths, not matter how thick I make them. I can see there is a path in AE if I click on the shape, but it does not come up as a masked area.
Is there a better way to do this, than to animate a mask? Animating masks seems to be the consensus how to do a lot of animation, but I'm stuck trying to get my line appear as part of my mask.
Happy to try another way; I have yet to see a tutorial that does what I'm trying to do, can't be a reveal, since the final shape needs to morph a few times. I am sure this is do-able (and probably not that hard!), but I can't figure it out; in Flash I would just tween between the two shapes, but not seeing how to do that effect in AE.

hi, i took some screengrabs also, so that you can perhaps see what i might be doing wrong...i inlcuded the original shape, from Illustrator, as well as what happens when I paste in AE. for my shape, blends won't work from Illustrator, I need the line to move in a certain way that Illustrator won't do using that feature. thanks very much .

Help animating clips and text

How would I go about animating clips and text the way they appear to move in the above video (made using Motion) in After Effects? What effect would I apply to the clips and text to be able to alter their perspective/angle like that?

You'd just make the video layers into 3D layers and animate them and move the camera around them.
The text can be animated using per-character 3D animation.
Since you're new to After Effects, I strongly recommend that you start here to learn After Effects.

Help with Java logos

Last year, i remember getting some logos from java.sun.com.
There's a lot of logos to download (eg. New,Save,Help,Cut,Copy,Paste...)
But now, i just simply couldn't find it. Can anyone tell me where it is or paste the link. i desperately need it.

I have no idea how i should make my logo and it seems like i have no skills to make one either, i have been trying for days to make one that look decent but it end up looking really really bad each time.

I have a cleaner copy now after someone suggested GIMP, so played with it last night - though couldn't figure out transparency - that was clear on converter- just not cooperative till these wonderful directions.
So now I know how to do it without messing with the pic, and with messing with it - both good lessons and got a bit brighter color out of the deal.

Adobe Illustrator Logo on Transparent Background-Need Help with Altering Logo

Hello all!
I have a logo that was provided to me in Illustrator, but I need it on a completely transparent background. When I place it on a file, it's mostly transparent, except for the white area in the "A" and two "O"s. Do you know how I can make this 100% transparent? I've attached a screenshot to show you what I'm talking about. Any advice/help you can give would be great! Thanks! (Also, I'm using CS6)

Help animating with SwingWorker

I have an animation on a JPanel. Right now, I am using a Thread, and updating the GUI with

Thread.sleep(500);// wait for next frame of animationI was told that this was an improper way to do an animation in swing, because using a Thread like this can cause errors. So, I am supposed to use the SwingWorker class, I think.
I am confused with how to use it, though. The doInBackground() method has a return type, but I want it to be void. I have no use for a return type here, as all I am doing is updating a JPanel. Also, I don't know how to pause the thread with something akin to Thread.sleep(). Without that, how am I supposed to wait between frames of the animation?
I looked at the Timer class, but it didn't seem to have what I want either. I only want to update the JPanel when I need to, not at set intervals.
I think I need to use both classes, with SwingWorker doing all the calculations and then creating timers, which exist only to wait the 500ms and then send an ActionEvent that updates the JPanel. Is this right?

My method that solves and animates the maze (this is what the JPanel is displaying) will sometimes update the GUI, and sometimes not. This is because it has a case where the position in the maze does not move. I only update the the maze if the position has moved, otherwise the animation appears inconsistent. That is why I cannot update the GUI on each execution of my animation method, and I only want to update the maze after the animation method has finished calculating a new position.
Here is the working (but improper?) code I had before, maybe it will help you understand:

I need help recreating this logo.

I am not sure how to recreate this logo. Not sure how to recreate the dots. Seems like a duplicate and rotate may work but I'm not exactly sure how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please see the LINK BELOW!

You may do it this way (Smart Guides are your friends, and you should have the centre Reference Point in the Transform palette selected):
1) Create a stroke/nofill circle identical to the distance between the centres of the top and bottom largest dots;
2) Create a fill/nostroke circle with a diameter (W = H) identical to the size of the largest dot;
3) Ctrl/Cmd+C to create a copy of 2), then Object>Transform>Move horizontally by the distance between the centres of the largest dot and the smallest dot, then change the W or H in the Transform palette to the size of the smallest dot and press Ctrl/CmdEnter (to keep proportions);
Now you have the paths at each end of the Blend to be;
4) Object>Blend>Blend Options, set Spacing to Specified Steps and insert 6;
5) Select both 2) and 3) and Object>Blend>Make;
Now you have the Blend with equal spacing between centres;
6) Move the Blend by the centre of the largest dot to the leftmost Anchor Point of the circle (Smart Guides say anchor when you are there);
7) Select the circle and Ctrl/Cmd+C to create a copy, then multiply the W or H in the Transform palette by 1.1 or something to have the copy circle extend past the largest dot and press Ctrl/CmdEnter (to keep proportions);
8) Select the Blend and the two circles and Ctrl/Cmd+G to Group them;
9) Effect>Distort&Transform>Transform, set Rotate Angle to 6 and Copies to 44 or 45 (sorry, the 43 and 44 mentioned earlier were one short), 44 to have the same number as the logo (45), 45 (to a total of 46) if you wish to have a gap of 90 degrees;
Now you should have all the dot rows;
10) Object>Transform>Rotate by 132/135 degrees if you have 45/46 dot rows
11) Drag across the circles in the gap with the Direct Selection Tool and change the Stroke to None at the bottom of the Toolbox.
If you wish, you can create a copy and Object>Expand Appearance to only have the dot rows as paths.
Always keep a copy of the full artwork before you destroy it.

Help moving a logo

A friend of mine made me a logo for a my photography business. She made it in an InDesign document. I need to move the logo into photoshop so that I can place it on my photos. How can I do that? Also, the logo has background shapes that I need to remove. How do I do that as well. The instructions she gave me says, "Bring this vector logo into Photoshop and remove background shapes before use."

Your friend may not be educated enough to be offering advice to you. Or she might be frustrated/upset with you for some reason and passing off a task that would have been much simpler for her. This suspicion would be accurate if all that she supplied you was an INDD file.
A proper package from InDesign would include the InDesign document (INDD), any font files used in that document, and any linked images. If she was to send you a basic graphic produced by InDesign, she would have sent a single self-contained EPS or PDF file.
A vector logo would be easily edited in Illustrator, not a photo editor.

I need help converting existing logo to transparent?

I have a logo that want to put into a PowerPoint which uses colored backgrounds. The logo comes out in a white box.
How do I convert the logo to a "Transparent Logo" so that when it overprints the graphics blend in?
Suggestions please, I have Elements 8. The manual says go to the Blending Options panel of the the Layer Style dialog box and turn off the first check box, "Blend Interior Effects as a Group" and should do the trick. I cannot find or Elements is too basic?

If you will post the logo here, we can probably advise you how to get rid of the white background. If you save it as a JPEG file, it will retain a white background, as that format will not support transparency.
I do not know which file format you can import into PowerPoint. Probably someone will come along with that information

Need Help with a Logo

I'm struggling with a logo, i want to remake this in Illustrator, and since i didn't find anything around the web, even searched for some fan-made fonts, i've not been able to remake the "Zero" part, i mean the "brush effect"
I'll appreciate any kind of suggestion or help that you will provide me, thank you very much in advance.

The brush effects could be made with Art Brushes, which are basically shapes drawn horizontally that are automatically bent and stretched to fit any given path.
You can find similar Art Brushes already available with Illy (in the Brushes palette) which you can study.
The creator may have the actual Art Brushes, unless the logo was done as Luts says, which is quite likely.
An exact reproduction of the ones shown would be laborious, and recreation of the logo would violate rights, unless you have them.

Batch watermark help? lmage logo moves out of photo

hi i'm having trouble batch watermarking basically the photo logo moves in the first few photos its okay and then the logo moves from the place i've positioned to out of the screen

I am not sure where else to ask, but I have had major difficulties with creating a logo for my website. I need some ideas, what colors to put together and fonts, etc. If someone can show me an example of the logo he/she can make (put watermarks on it), I would be willing to purchase it.
