Help creating c program to interface to oracle

Does anyone know of any web resources, or good books that discuss the creation of c/c++ programs that can interface with an Oracle database?

LabVIEW does not have "variables" in the same sense as text based code. Value are received by the code via front panel controls (human interaction or assigned connectors in the case of a subVI). For the duration of the code, the data lives inside wires (and possibly shift registers if it needs to persist across iterations).

As a possible quick workaround, you could compile the C porgram into a dll to be called from within LabVIEW. Do you have this capability?

You don't need to program any interfaces between Oracle modules e.g. PO to AP. This is all standard functionality within the Oracle e-business suite. For example, moving from a PO to an Invoice to a payment is standard cross module functionality in Oracle. This is all documented in the appropriate manuals : http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/applications.html
You only need to worry about coding interfaces if you wish to import data from a non-Oracle system

In need of help, creating a semi- simple program

I'm creating a program that is suppose to fit such criteria,
Read a file of real numbers (doubles), find the smallest and largest, print the numbers read (4 per line), and print the following statistics for the input data:
· Sum
· Smallest
· Largest
· Average
I know how to get the file and im using readline to get the information. Below is some of my code where it is as of now.

It's probably a good idea to begin with your own code: compiling and running it at each step to make sure it is correct. If you get stuck post what you have so far (using the "code" tags) and say what the exact compiler message is. And even before writing your own code, figure out what you are going to do - think about how you would solve this problem with pencil and paper. If you had a stream of numbers being given to you, what things would you have to keep track of so that you could report the sum, min max and average at the end?
That said "new double(line)" makes no sense as double is a primitive. To parse a string (that is, figure out its numeric counterpart) use the Double method [parseDouble()|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/lang/Double.html#parseDouble(java.lang.String)]. And it makes no sense to close the reader each time you read a line.

There are two ways of doing it, depending on what you want to accomplish. Both require that you edit the file ~/.bashrc (I assume you use bash)
1) If the application places all the executable files in a given directory (let's say /opt/Application/bin/), you can access all those executables directly by simply telling your shell where to look (in the same way the shell automatically looks for executable files in eg. /usr/bin). In ~/.bashrc, you would have to add a line that looks like this:
PATH="$PATH:/opt/Application/bin"
2) If you just want to make a traditional "shortcut" that executes a given command, this can be done with alias. Add this command to your ~/.bashrc:
alias shortcut="some command"
In this case, typing shortcut into a terminal will be interpreted just like if you had typed some command instead.
In order to try out these changes, either restart your terminal or run this command:
source ~/.bashrc

Help: Creating a cluster for Oracle Database

In school, we've been testing the grid infraestructure, ASM and oracle database
but now, for a research, we should be able to install, Grid+Asm and oracle database Using at least 3 computers
where should we start?
we want to install all of them since the begining, I mean, A network. Operating system on each computer, disk slices for the ASM, and the Oracle database.

Accruals interfaced from Oracle Purchasing to Oracle Projects

Hi
Accrue Expense Items in Purchasing Options is set to Period End. If a purchase order which is project related is receipted, will an accrual be interfaced to Oracle Projects?

After we submit Receipt accrual- period end program and submit Create accounting-receiving system creates actuals in GL these are Receiving journals in GL, I need to know after this if we submit PRC: Interface Supplier Costs with parameter Yes for interfacing receipt accruals system is not transferring these accrual actuals in Projects module. Is this correct?
PLease suggest which Purchasing setup for receipt accruals will transfer receipt accrual actuals to Projects module this is very urgent.

How to create a program to find files then display results to be clickable?

Hello,
I am trying to find files based on extension name. It searches through all child folders from the parent folder to find files.
This program example, Dupe File Finder shows "Name, Path, and Size" as results. This looks like a JTable without gridlines?

Files from the results will be opened differently when double clicked based on their extensions (.java, .jar. .bat. .vow). EX, .java extension opens in Firefox that displays clear text.

All I can find is JTable class. I do not think JTable has the best tools to do this. What's your advice related to this program?
Once I finish this program, I intend to make it find duplicate contents in excel files through the parent folder. Then it displays the list of duplicate files. Importing excel files in the mysql database might get the job done, but I still need to create a graphical user interface.

I would suggest go ahead with JTable.

1) i created a search help in se11 including the plant field again the problem arises if the user types a different plant.
so i want to know whether we can apassa value to plant field in search help(i.e the plant assigned to the user),
i have this kind of thing in some standard t -code i.e especially for searching material , the plant field in search help was filled by one plant.
this should be one of the solution

They are saying that, that logic u must implement in Java Code.(*Takes Maximum no from table, add +1 to it, and store it back again)*. apart from this, while creating an table in Oracle, is there any facility like MySQL Database? please help me. Need help creating arraylist

I am trying to help a friend in school with a project and we need some help...
We need to write a program to estimate how much paint is needed to paint a house. Assuming we know the square feet that a gallon of paint covers, number of coats required, and the dimensions of the wall, window, door, or gable.
We are using a GUI to enter the data for the different regions.
We have the GUI created and the hierchy competed. I need some help creating the arraylist to run the program.
The user will enter a new region by selecting:
surface type
width
height
then you will be able to add or insert to include this region in the list.
You will also be able modify, delete, or navigate to existing regions in the list by selecting the appropriate navigigation buttons below:

PaintEstimatorView
PainEstimator Model
Regions:
Wall
Door
Gable
Window
And the Approriate Listners
Each region will have its own height and width which are set when the region is created
Each region will compute and return its area and the walls and gables will contribute to the surface; windows and doors will reduce the surface.

We need to include a View and Model
The view will manage the interface and the model will provide the necessary processing.
responsibilities of the view:
Instantiate and arrange the windowobjects
instantiate and initialize the model
handle user generated events such as button clicks and menu selections by sending message to the model
represent the model to the user.

Define and manage the applications data(coordinating the activities of several programmer defined classes)

We will need to keep a count and index of all the regions created by the user and you need to be able to shuffle throught them if you need to delete or modify them. You also need to insert windows and doors which will subtract from the total surface area but you have to go back to which ever wall or gable and create the window or door before or after that region.

This is the GUI for the project that we have come up with. I have to write the arraylist for inside the model.
I have tried a couple different things but have been unsuccessful getting it to work. All I am looking for is a start of the arraylist I will try to figure out the rest myself.

Unfortunately I was unable to find a driver for this instrument. This leaves you with one of a couple options. First, I would like you to submit a request for this driver at:
http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/other.htm
We develop drivers in CVI and LabVIEW based on demand and popularity so the more requests we have for it, the greater the possibility that we will develop one. While this would not provide you with a QBASIC program, you may be able to create a DLL that you could call from QBASIC.

conversion program is your migration- or mapping- program to convert data in the format of the SAP-Interface
example:
