Help!! error of remark classes.zip when build midp2.0

i changed back to CLDC1.04 + midp2.0
using cygwin under winxp
there is no problem when i build cldc, but error occur when i build midp
error message
...classes.zip
c:\DOCUME~1\owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\make283218.sh: line 1: zip : command not found
c:\GNU\gnumake.exe:***[classes.zip] Error 127
all the src files have been complied into class files, the error i guess is during packing jcc's class files into classes.zip, but cannot find the "zip"
but to my understanding, cldc do not use something like "zip.exe" to pack the class files but the "jar", why midp defnied the following lines in
{midpdir}\build\share\makefiles\Defs.gmk
#MIDP tools
ZIP = zip
UNZIP = unzip
is this place where the error comes from?
anyone can help me? thanks a lot.

Well just an update. I managed to solve the problem by installing the latest version of IMAQ for LV 8.0 which is IMAQ 3.5.1 instead of the original 3.5.0. I hope this helps someone.

  • Parity error occurs in VISA read when building an executable

    Hi,
I am doing some serial communication in LabVIEW and have battled for a long time with parity error where it appeared as a lot of 0's were added to the data I read through VISA read. I fixed my problem according to this description:
Can I Do 9-bit Serial Communication Instead of 7 or 8 bits?
Where i modified the visa ini file to disable error replacement. This seemed to help out the problem - at least i got the data i expected, until i built an application.
When i build and EXE the problem occurs again when i run the application on another computer - not the computer on which it is built. I have made sure to include a customed configuration file, i.e. to include the modified visa.ini file to make sure that the error replacement is disabled in the application as well. When i look in the configuration file that follows the application it also appears as if the error replacement is disabled, however, it seems not to work since a lot of 0's are once again filled into my dataset.
I have of course made sure that the serial port setting are set up correctly.
    I am using LV2013.
Anyone tried this before or is able to help somehow?
    Thank you
    Nicolai

Sure, I have attached my VI - however i'm not sure it provides any useful information in this case. What I am doing is simply reading a serial port every 750 ms, accessing specific data in it and plotting in graphs. The VI works perfectly fine on the development computer.
I don't think the VI or the serial port are what's preventing me. It seems like the configurations in my visaconf.ini file are not transferred to the deployment computer. I have tried the following from the knowledge base:
How to Include VISA Settings in a LabVIEW Installer
Why Does Serial Communication Not Work on my LabVIEW Deployed Executable?
Storing VISA Aliases and Moving Them to Another Machine
I can also see that the 'DisableErrorReplacement' parameter is set in the .ini file that comes along with the application, but it seems like it is not applied since I keep receiving all these annoying 0's that ruin my data.
As you can see in the VI i configure my serial port in the 'false'-state, and then on the development machine I have just added 'DisableReplacementError=1' to the visaconf.ini file which solved my problem before trying to distribute the app.
Hope some of you guys can help.
    Best regards
    Nicolai

  • NoClassdefFoundError on the third-party jar's classes when building APK

I am building a native extension for Android.
For the android library, I create a android project and add several third-party jar files to build path.
I extract a jar file from a android project and merge it and third-party jar files into a single jar file.
I package ANE using a merged jar file and build a APK.
When I install a APK and launch it, NoClassdefFoundError on the third-party class occurs.
I use Flash Builder 4.6 and set sdk version to the Flex SDK 4.6.0 + AIR SDK 15.0.0.356.
I decompile APK and check the classes.dex.
Strangely a certain jar's classes are missing in the classes.dex.
I tried googling and found a similar case.
The following is the link :
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24777394/noclassdeffounderror-on-thirdparty-class-files -when-building-adobe-native-extens
I try to follow the answer in this link.
Did dx.jar in the AIR SDK really strip out some classes of third-party jar file??
I inquired the java version of the third-party related with NoClassdefFoundError.
Now I am waiting for the reply.
Is anybody else know about this?

    The android-support-v4.jar is same.
I check android-support-v4.jar's classes in ANE.
But they are missing in APK after release build.
    I don't know why.
I use Flash Builder 4.6 and Flex SDK 4.6.0 + AIR SDK 15.0.0.356.
Is there anyone else know about this???

  • Java.util.zip.ZipException error when building

    Good Day All,
I am a newbie and this is my first JWS deployment. I have an app that I am writing in Netbeans 6.1 that I want to deploy via JWS. The app accesses five different JAR libraries and that is where my troubles started. I thought that I needed to figure a way to configure Netbeans so the libraries would be deployed with my app JAR so it would run correctly using JWS.
I was trying to get things working and now my problem is that when I build I am getting the following error:
    init:
    deps-jar:
    compile:
    Copy libraries to C:\Java\DataMed\dist\lib.
To run this application from the command line without Ant, try:
    java -jar "C:\Java\DataMed\dist\DataMed.jar"
    jnlp:
    jnlp-init-generate-master:
C:\Java\DataMed\nbproject\jnlp-impl.xml:61:  The following error occurred while executing this line:
C:Java\DataMed\nbproject\jnlp-impl.xml:386:  java.util.zip.ZipException:  error in opening zip file
BUILD FAILED (total time: 0seconds)Scrolling to line 386 in the jnlp-impl.xml file it says:
componentsprop="jnlp.components">I futzed with my options so much I can't seem to figure out how to get everything reset so I can get a clean build ! As a newbie to Netbeans I sometimes have difficulty figuring out where all the different things are hidden ... I **think** it all went bad when I was working on the Properties > Libraries > Compile > Compile-time Libraries but I can't remember.
So I have two questions really:
    1) How can I resolve the ZipException error? I suspect it is one of the JAR libraries but how can I tell ?
    2) How do I get JWS to find my five libraries ? I now suspect that I am supposed to upload the five libraries to the webserver and then in my JNLP it will have links to the libraries in the <resources> part of the code. Is that correct ?
Edited by: DBirdManAR on Aug 10, 2008 7:22 AM
Rather than spend to much time figuring this out, I just used my revert modifications through my SVN to go back to a previous version that builds correctly.

    Hi,
I have the same problem but I cannot solve it.
    Help much appreciated.

I had customized the ess/tra/tre and ess/tra/tre/trs DC's and had them working, but I do not know what I did or what happened that am now getting the following errors when building, can anyone help tell what the problem could be?
    Error

  • Error about base class not being found in custom class when extending

I have gone through the process of extending the base View Object oracle.apps.icx.lov.server.ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVO. My extension object is: snl.oracle.apps.icx.lov.server.SnlExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVO. The extension was done to change the query used in this LOV. I get the following 3 compile errors when I rebuild my project. Error: can't read: C:\JDevOAframework\jdevhome\jdev\myprojects\oracle\apps\icx\lov\server\ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl.java
Error(2,35): cannot access class oracle.apps.icx.lov.server.ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl; file oracle\apps\icx\lov\server\ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl.class not found
Error(10,60): class ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl not found in class snl.oracle.apps.icx.lov.server.SnlExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl
I have the oracle.apps.icx.lov.server package in my project and it has the following 3 files in it:
    ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVO.xml
    ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl.class
    ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl.java
I do not have the last file (the .java one) on my local drive under C:\JDevOAframework\jdevhome\jdev\myprojects\oracle\apps\icx\lov\server.
Is the .java file not supposed to be in the package? I'm not sure how it got there since we don't have access to it on the server, etc.
If anyone has any suggestions your help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Paula

The second 2 errors were solved by copying the ExpenditureTypeNoAwardLovVORowImpl.class to my myclasses directory under oracle/apps/icx/lov/server and then recompiling.
I'm still not sure why an empty .java file was added to my project causing the first error. I was doing this extension on a machine with Windows 2000 and I had created a new workspace (other than toolbox.jws) when I got this error. When I did the same extension on a machine with Windows XP and in the toolbax.jws workspace, the empty .java file didn't get added to my project and I didn't get the first compile error. Not sure if one of these variables was the cause.

  • Error 1073 (on Clear Errors.vi) When Building Application in LV 8.2

I have seen numerous posts about this problem when building an application without a block diagram in LV 7.x, however, I am recieving this error on LV 8.2.  Whats most disturbing about it, is that it always hangs when processing Clear Errors.vi.  I have tried my source on two different machines, to no avail.  Also I tried to do a mass recompile of the entire vi.lib again no help.  It is very important that this program compiles, however I cannot get past this error.  Any suggestions?

    Hello Paul,
I am sorry for not elaborating previously.  This issue has been documented previously for further investigation to our R&D group (# 3ZK9LGP2).  In the report I found that this error, though vague in the description, is fixed by enabling MathScript Support.
To enable MathScript support, check the checkbox in the application properties for the 'Enable MathScript support' option.

  • Error when  building a report from 2 different subject areas

    Hello Experts,
    I am using obiee 11.1.1.5.
    I have 5 dimension D1,D2,D3,D4,D5 connected to fact1 and 4 dimension connected to fact2 such as D1,D2,D6,D7.
where D1,D2 is common to both the facts.

I need to create a report by adding columns of  subject area 1 and 2 with columns from all the dimensions D1,D2....D7.
As of now i am getting error stating "No fact table exists at the requested level of detail " when i try to add columns from 2 different subject areas.
Can anyone help me in solving the above problem.
Is there any prerequisite to be taken care when  building a report from 2 different subject areas.
    Regards,
    NN

    Hello Nagireddy,
So kind of you, for your quick reply
I was able to solve the error by doing below steps in additional what you have specified
-->For the fact table LTSs, set the logical level in the Content tab to the dimension's lowest level for each conforming dimension (leave the non-conforming dimensions level blank).
Now I have another requirement i,e
I need to have non measure columns such as Date into the newly created fact in BMM layer.
I tried doing the steps which I followed for measure column, but it is throwing the same error which I get earlier.
    Below is the error

  • Error when building application with Excel included

    Hi All !
I've read several post on problems with Report Generation Toolkit when building applications that uses Excel or Word interactivity.
I've included both _Excel Dynamic VIs.vi and _Word Dynamic VIs.vi in my project and added them to the dynamic vis and support files.
When building I get the error :
The VI is broken. Open the VI in LabVIEW and fix the errors.

If you do a search on this forum you will find this to be a common and vexing problem. I myself had this same exact problem about a year ago, and it took me the better part of a day to track it down. As you will find by reading the various threads on this problem, there seems to be no specific cause for this, and it remains a mystery, and the solutions are no better than chanting voodoo, and probably just as effective.
One thing you can try is to force a recompile of your VI hierarchy. Open you top-level VI. If it's set up to run when opened, stop it. Hold down the Control key and click the run button. This will force a recompile of the application. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. Like I said, voodoo.
Another thing to look for is to check if you are using any diagram disable structures or case structures with a constant wired, as in trying to use the case structure to comment out code.
Are you using classes and passing by reference? There was a mention of this here.

This issue was sent to me via e-mail by a colleague:
Question iReport Development No.1 - Report Build error by Eclipse
    -Issue:
When we build using build-release, a build error is being thrown.
    -Situation:
Concerning this error, we think that "external.odt" file does not
exist when it is converting from OpenOffice format to PDF format.
As in addition, we set path for OpenOffice and developed macro
converting to PDF file along SDK document.
Please see follow URL: 'Reports - Developer Community'

[DGC - the two screenshots showed:
    a) the OpenOffice macro debugger open and with an error popup (in

    b) The resulting Ant build error, which states that it can't find the

    OK, so first some background:
    1) The basic process goes like this:
    a) one release doc (edited by the developer, presumably) and the
template docs are copied to the build area
    b) Each doc is unzipped (ODT's are just ZIP files) into a subdir
    c) The doc contents are copied around; this is to allow Ant to
replace its special @VAR@ variables in the document content
    d) The docs are zipped back up into ODTs
    e) The ODTs are converted into PDFs using OOo's macro functionality
Here are the troubleshooting steps I would apply:
    1) Make sure the external.odt file exists - check the build area
(//content/build/<pluginname>/tmp/) and can be opened using normal
    OpenOffice
    2) Check that the release.odt file exists (same location) and can be
    opened using normal OpenOffice
    3) See if you can manually convert the external.odt file into a PDF -
the command we use is simply:
    soffice -invisible
    macro:///Standard.Collectors.External2PDF(${pkgdir}/tmp/external.odt)
(replace ${pkgdir} with the build directory path).
If all that works, then the Ant build process should work.
Also - what does that OpenOffice error popup say?

  • Error when building Azure project

A few days ago I started to see an error when compiling my Azure Project (cloud service with web and worker roles). I've been working with this Azure project for almost 3 years without seeing this before. When I attempt to build my Azure Project, 9 times
out of 10 it fails with this error:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\Windows Azure Tools\2.2\Microsoft.WindowsAzure.targets(1371,5): error : Could not find file '<SourceCode>\SomeProject\bin\Debug\ServiceDefinition.csdef'.
Here's another when I attempt to build again:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\Windows Azure Tools\2.2\Microsoft.WindowsAzure.targets(985,5): error : Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\IDE\csx\Debug\ServiceDefinition.csdef'.
Sometimes the error refers to ServiceDefinition, sometimes to ServiceConfiguration. The problem is that it is looking for the two files in places where it's not supposed to be. I have a single Azure Project in my solution, and a single service definition
in my solution, but when building the error message says it can't find the service definition/config in some other Project in the solution. For example, it may try to find the service definition in some unit testing C# Project instead of in the Azure Project.
    Some isolation:
Building same source code works fine for my colleauges.
I've set up a new computer with Windows 8, VS2013, VS2013 Update 1, Azure SDK 2.2. Still same error.
I've turned off multi-core builds. Still same error.
I've seen another post on SO with a similar issue, but then it was related to publish settings files in his solution which were missing.

    Hi,
Did your colleague build the same solution or create a new solution with the existing code? If they have exactly the same solution as you have, then please check if the environment of your machine (both old and new) is different from theirs. For instance,
please check Azure version, VS extension, etc. If they created a new solution with the existing code, you can try to do that yourself to see whether it works.

  • Error while resolving class. Help needed

I've just installed J2SE JDK 5.0 under Ubuntu Linux 5.10. I used to have it installed under Ubuntu 5.04, and then I did not experience the problem I'm having now.

...8 moreI get this error with all class files I try to execute that aren't very basic. I've been searching this forum and Google, and the string "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: while resolving class:" seems to be related to the class path. However that doesn't make sense to me in this case as I have no problem running the first example program. The .java and .class file is in the same directory (where it also was compiled), and typing "java -classpath . SimpleProgram" returns the same error.
I hope someone can help me. I'd appreciate it

I've solved it. I never found out what caused the error, but I installed Debian Sarge instead of Ubuntu 5.10 (not 'cause of this error though ...), and now everything works just fine =)
