HELP : How to access a datasource rowset in the AM class ?

Hi,
i have an AM "TestAM" which contains the viewobject "ViewTest".
in the class "TestAMImpl.java" i added a method called "verify()".
in my JSP i have initialised the AM and a datasource based on the VO "ViewTest" :
<jbo:ApplicationModule id="am" configname="TestAM.TestAMLocal" releasemode="Stateful" />
<jbo:DataSource id="ds" appid="am" viewobject="ViewTest" />

TestAM am = (TestAM) am.useApplicationModule();

My question is how to access to the rowset of the datasource "ds" in the code of the method
"verify()" ?

This is correct. Think of the AM as having a hashtable of instances of view objects that you can lookup by instance name.
The <jbo:DataSource> tag lets you lookup an instance by name in the AM and get a reference to it to use in the JSP page. Within your AMImpl class, you can either:

[*]Call findViewObject("YourViewInstanceName"), or
[*]Just call the generated getYourViewInstanceName() method which is ok to call inside the Impl class to get hold of the same VO.

How to access Portal URL outside of the LAN

Hi Experts,
Our J2EE engine is hosted on one machine and R/3 is installed on other machine (IP address is different). We have configured Web Dynpro ABAP iVIEW's and Transaction iViews in my portal. To be able to access these two iViews I have to maintain the IP addresses of both EP server and R/3 server IP's in every client host file.
Hence my client system is in LAN it is working with no issues, but we want to access the URL form out of LAN which is not possible at the moment.
Could anyone please advise me how to access the URL without maintaining the IP address in host file
and
able to access the URL out side of the LAN.

Hi Murthy,
Directly its not possible at all, For this you need to publish the Portal Server on Internet.
Once its published on internet then you can access the URL without maintaining the
IP address in host file.
In this your Basis Team and Network team will help you.

The JSP wil be converted into a java file and then compiled into a class. If you are using tomcat, the java file will be somewhere in the work folder of your tomcat installation. Find the java file and check the line that is reported in the exception to see where the null-pointer is coming from.

I'd like to know if there's a way to access to configuration page of the router through my windows phone 7.
I usually access the router by laptop as following: "192.168.1.1". but sometimes when I'm on my phone I need to reboot the router through my phone other then the laptop which is not near me...
I looked up for applications that should do the work, but unfortunately I got no positive result, so I'm reaching out to this very forum in order to find help and tricks so that I can figure it out

In my Webapplication,i have jsp and javabeans files. i need to send one image file path contains in Image folder to JavaBean[MyBean.java].

Now we can send this exact system path variable to any java beans or java class that needs the image path as "drivename:\foldername\filename" like "c:\myflolder\mypic.gif" and not web context path.

When I download a video file (typically .wmv) the video begins playing on the monitor screen prior to my being able to use Download Helper to download the video and save to the hard drive. This typically results in the video stopping and playing and stopping throughout the download process because of the download speed available. There is never any issue with the final download on the hard drive.
Today I installed latest version of Firefox and Download Helper on another computer.

Downloaded the same .wmv file downloaded above and the video did NOT begin playing on the monitor screen. Download Helper allowed me to download the file to the hard drive WITHOUT constantly listening to the video start/stop/start/stop etc.
What option (in which program) would allow the playing of the video to be toggled on or off while downloading the .wmv file?

How to use manifest file to indicate the entry class?

I am trying to package all my class files together and let the users to run my file using the following command line:
java -jar program.jar
For this purpose, I need to specify the main class in the manifest file. I create the manifest file as below:

Main-Class: classname
and include it in the same directory as my class file. then I jar all the files using:
jar cvmf manifest.mf program.jar *.*
However ,when I try to run the program using:

I don't have any code written for it yet.. but its the most critical task for me..

say i have multiple objects running of the same class on the same box.
sth like a CPU can have multiple ports. The port class is intantiated
to create every new port for CPU as required.
Now i have to differntiate multiple ports on that box and give
accordingly its statistics back to CPU. sth like how many acces to
ports, how much bandwidth available, how many bits.. i know how to
calculate statistics of ports but i don't know how to differentiate
between multiple ports ??
Eg: Number of sessions created on oneport is 14 and other is 25. Then i
have to give differnt statistics of these 2 ports back to CPU.
I hope all this made some sense ???

Do you mean from flash in a web page or do you mean
converting the swf file format (maybe with a decompiler or
whatever).
If you're meaning to do it from flash in a web page:
You can't save a movieclip from flash to svg. You could
perhaps record drawingAPI commands and create the appropriate svg
output in an internal xml object which you then send to the server.
But I don't know of any pre-built classes to do that (disclaimer:
because I don't know of any doesn't mean they don't exist).
Going from svg to flash is doing it the other way around.
Converting the svg paths back to actionscript drawing commands. I
think I've seen some examples of this online somewhere.

i have created a "web application" project. and i have created a "web service client" file by WSDL file.

How to access music and playlists on the same computer, for both Microsoft accounts?

Hello all,
My husband and I recently got a new computer and are running Windows 8.1. We were able to successfully use an external hard drive to transfer all of the music and playlists over so that I can access them on my user account (I am the "main" user). All of my playlists are present exactly as they were previously. This is the location of the iTunes media folder on our hard drive: C:\Users\Brittany\Music\iTunes
However, when my husband logs on as a user separately, the iTunes program is there, but we are only able to get him very limited access to some music. We can't get him access to any of the playlists, which is where the bulk of the music is.
We've tried everything. We've double-checked that he's an Administrator. We've made sure that all the folders are shared between us. We can both read and write to this folder location. We've gone into the preferences in iTunes itself and told it where we want it to find the iTunes Media folder. We also tried moving the iTunes media folder into the public shared music folder, and that didn't do a darn thing either. Nothing works.
I feel like we are missing some critical step somewhere. Or maybe we screwed something up somehow. I don't know. All I know is that it seems crazy if we're not going to be able to access the exact same version of iTunes complete with playlists. What gives?

We've gone into the preferences in iTunes itself and told it where we want it to find the iTunes Media folder.
This step is wrong. Make sure the iTunes folder in your profile is visible from his login, then press and hold down shift as you launch iTunes and browse to the iTunes Library.itl file in your library. It may be easier to store the library at C:\iTunes and have both accounts access it there.
