Help i just want my ipod to turn on
I tried to lock my screen so i changed the lock combo to my birthday just seeing wat it would do then i go to unlock it and it wont so i just turn it off untill i can get to my computer to unlock it but now it wont turn on at all. I charged it last nite stil nothing. I plugg it into my computer and itunes doesnt even recongnize my ipod nano is plugged in. What should i do it is not even a year old yet. It is a nano. And no it is not on hold

just hold menu and center like he said, itll flash and then hopefully youll have your ipod back!

HELP! Just updated new IPOD - Now Video Freezes Temporarily
I just updated my ipod with IPOD Updater from apple.com and now when I play a video, the video locks every minute or so then unlocks but no longer has sound.
I tried a restore - since my video functioned without problems before - it won't go back to the original form.
I've had my IPOD for a week now - I'm seriously worrying because I jsut bought that TV connection kit for it. PLEASE HELP. THANKSWelcome to Apple Discussions!
Restore using the previous updater. This update has created some problems for some users with video playback.

Help I just want to restore my ipod touch!!!!!

- Was that the complete wording of the error message? Usually an error number or other information is included besides saying unknown error.
- Try resetting the iPod.

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

This is definetely an issue with your iPod's hard drive. It may need to be replaced. but before that, try these links:
iPod won't turn on
iPod displays a sad iPod icon
iPod displays a folder icon with an exclamation point

If these things didn't solve the issue, it may very well be that you will need to get your iPod's hard drive replaced.

Help! Just want to share DSL between new iMac & existing Windows laptop
I have existing laptop running on Windows XP, connected to a DSL modem via ethernet cable. The modem also has an additional USB slot.
I want to access the Internet from my new iMac G5, using the same DSL line, but not share anything (files, printer, etc) with the laptop (in other words, I have no desire to "network" with the laptop).
Can I just connect the iMac using the USB port? Also, do I need a router/firewall to make things easier/more secure?

Yes, a NetGear router would work. Pretty much any router, as networking and IP are platform independent and will work with any OS.

If any of you guys have music downloading in the iTunes music section, that's whats making you wait!
After you finish with the music and videos, and whatever is downloading in iTunes NOT THE APP STORE JUST THE MUSIC SECTION, then you will be able to download your apps, if you can't wait that long then go to the music section of iTunes, and pause each download. That then should let you be able to download the apps you want. BUT AFTER YOUR DONE WITH THE APPS MAKE SURE YOU RESUME ALL YOUR MUSIC, VIDEOS ECT......... DOWNLOADS, IT WON'T RESUME AUTOMATICALLY! -

My 40Gb third generation iPod is practically full. It's my second one, the first was an original 10Gb with mechanical wheel. Soon I will need more disk space and I'm looking to the actual options. My problem is that I don't like any of the new iPods in the market. I don't need to play movies with it, nor show my pictures, nor put it in the smallest pocket of my jeans. In fact I don't need even colored display... but I need firewire to use it with my Cube.
I would like to have the option of a "Classic iPod", with lots of disks space, music play options only, firewire or dual, the traditional size to fit in a normal pocket and... a good price!
Do you think I have any possibility of buying something similar soon? Or I'm simply old fashioned?
mini, cube, keylime, tam, lisa Mac OS X (10.4.3)Unfortunately your options are very limited. Buying from the Apple online store or in an Apple retail store, you will only find the 5th gen. iPod (video – no FireWire) or the iPod nano (also no FireWire).
Your best bet would be to try an Apple Reseller location which might have some 4th gen. models in stock, or try eBay.
The thing that's preventing me from buying a 5th gen. iPod is the fact that it no longer supports FireWire and my home computer only has USB 1. -

Please help I just bought this Ipod used and didnt know it was stuck on this screen. It is stuck with the apple screen and wont turn off even after holding bothe the on/off button and home button at the same time, itunes does not even recongnize the device i need to find a way to do a complete restore as if it were just purchased please help
