Help in getting IMEI number..!

hi ll,
I am using the below code to get the IMEI number for various manufacturer.
System.getProperty("com.sonyericsson.imei") - For sony Ericson
System.getProperty("phone.imei") - For Nokia
System.getProperty("com.motorola.IMEI") - For Motorola
It is working for me.
My question is, will it works on all j2me supported mobile(any Manufacturer)?

Its totally depend upon the vendors specification that means its depend upon the property supports by the KVM
Like i m working on spice device i don't know which supported by the device.

If you go to the computer where your sync your phone to and open itunes and then go to edit in the tool bar then preferences then device preferences then devices.. hover the mouse pointer over your device name in the back up lists that appear there and it shows the IMEI

Hello community members, my iPhone has been stolen and I tried to contact police, they are asking for IMEI number of the phone. Unfortunately I could not read the IMEI number on the box due to moisture wiped out most of the number on it. I sacanned it in and enhanced, I'm still unable to read out the number. Is there any other method so that I can contact Apple to get IMEI number ? since the phone was shyncronized several times in apple store / iCloud.

If you backed up your iPhone in iTunes on your computer -
Open iTunes - Edit - Preferences - Devices - See Device Backups in the Window.
Hover mouse/curser on any backup. Read IMEI and Serial no. your of iPhone.

Adf mobile support phonegap api. Version must be 2.0(you can check it by below code snippet) You can just reach uuid from both platform via cordova. Espescially, IOS restriction limits you to get device infos that you mentioned, but you can get uuid.

We have had a user who's phone was stolen so we are trying to get the phon blacklisted. We need the IMEI number but I don't have this obviously so I wondered if Apple can get the IMEI number from the device ID which I can get from office 365.

I will try to discribe my uncommon situation:
My friend bought a iPhone 4 in Apple Store (New York) about one month ago. And then he sent it to me to the Ukraine. But on the way the iphone was stolen by courier service. I didn't get nothing in the end. Now I have just a check from the purchase where I can see just a Part Number and Serial Number of iPhone 4.
After all this I went to police and ask there to find my stolen iPhone, but they need get a IMEI number of iPhone, which I doesn't have. So, what is a problem? If I have only a check with Part and Serial numbers can I get info about my iPhone 4 from Apple base???
Please help me someone!!!

My trusty N95 was stolen (by a security guard no less). He disappeared and is now using the phone. He sent an email to someone from my gmail account which was set up on the phone (and configured to always copy me). I've changed my email log in password etc. BUT I really would like to block that phone. But I'd had it for so long that I don't seem to have the IMEI number stored anywhere. For you to be able to see the Folder called AppData you have to make sure that you have enabled Show Hidden Folders which is achievable by selecting Folder Options>View>Tick Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives
Once you open the Messages, Photos or Contacts you will be able to see a folder and the folder name will have numbers which is the IMEI number and you can use your IMEI number to block your lost phone via your service provider. Some service providers also helps to track the phone and if your service provider enables the track phone feature then you can locate your lost phone and arrest the person who stole it.

Well, it all depends on your problem domain.
If you're processing CDR files from transmission towers the IMEI may be contained in those files (depending on the make and model of the tower, some may include it only if there is no other way to identify the phone in question, like a SIM number).

u have to use MIDP 2.0 .
there is a method midlet.getPlatformRequest("phone number ");
for getting phone number , and for getting calling time save it in some string and send to ur server(PC) by httpConnection ..
u can also find the device platorm(device no. like its nokia 6600 or some) by System.getPlatform();
