Help to get mobile number with J2ME application

hello friends
i am new in J2ME
i want to write application which provides mobile phone connection to personal computer and will retrive all information for incomming call for device like: caller number,device number,end call time, receive call time etc..
can any one tell how to retrive all the information from mobile to pc

u have to use MIDP 2.0 .
there is a method midlet.getPlatformRequest("phone number ");
for getting phone number , and for getting calling time save it in some string and send to ur server(PC) by httpConnection ..
u can also find the device platorm(device no. like its nokia 6600 or some) by System.getPlatform();

When i verify my Mobile number with my EE account, i get an error?

I am a member of EEs 4G plan, and i need to top up. however, when i try to do so online or through the MyEE application, i cannot as my mobile is not verified with the EE account. When i try to verify it, i get a fatal error after entering my verificarion code.Can someone help? Thanks!

Documents about mobiles compatibility with J2ME

I have to develop a J2ME application and before, I'd like to write a document about all compatibility aspects I must consider in order to make this application compatible with all (or at least the most of) the existing mobiles handsets (simple cell phones, smartphones, blackberries and so on...).
I'd like to write a document containing, for instance, for each brand of mobile, the available APIs, JSRs, fonctionnalities, etc.
Can someone, please, lead me to where to find such a document?

1) JSRs 37 and 118 MIDP correspond to HTTPConnection functionality
2) JSRs 37 and 118 MIDP correspond to RecordStore functionality
3) JSRs 118 MIDP 2 and 177 SATSA correspond to VeriSign Certificate Trust detection
4) JSRs 120 and 205 WMA correspond to sending/receiving SMS functionality

I'm afraid the serial number of the DMP is not tracked in the software, so it's not possible to check it remotely. Your only option will be physically looking at the sticker on each DMP

When I want to send something to my phone from my ipod.. it won't regiser my mobile number? Why? Like I've tried, and it will only allow my e-mail to go threw.

Turn off iMessage then turn it back on.
You do have an iPhone and you are in the wrong place?
If not, you can't send from your mobile number on your Touch.

I have a requirement in SAP Mobile Asset management and already we have SAP MI(Mobile Infrastructure), in this project SAP r/3 is sits in Backend, SAP Netweaver is Middleware
Basically i would have experiance on ABAP ,in last project i created zBAPI..,i know how we can communicate with SAP R/3 to External Applications..
here my doubt is i want to know where i need to create ZBAPI whether in SAP Netweaver or SAP R/3 ????
SAP Netweaver already have JAVA and ABAP , here can i create ztable,rfc,ZBAPI in netweaver or we need to use SAP R/3., how was the communications will be SAP netweaver to sap r/3..???

If you are planning to develop a mobile application fresh , then it is recommended to use NW Mobile 7.10 as it comes to market with much more features compared to its predecessor..

I am using the below code to get the IMEI number for various manufacturer.
System.getProperty("com.sonyericsson.imei") - For sony Ericson
System.getProperty("phone.imei") - For Nokia
System.getProperty("com.motorola.IMEI") - For Motorola
It is working for me.
My question is, will it works on all j2me supported mobile(any Manufacturer)?

HELP! Getting Blue Q with question marks when visiting web sites

I see from the replies to similar posts that is is recommended to use the default settings under Advanced/ mime settings, in Quick time
I always had all boxes checked in all the categories as my preference would be to have Quick time play every thing. And encountered no problems .
I recently purchased flip4mac studio and now every thing is all messed up, web pages that used to work fine as far as saving content to my desk top or downloads folder, or copying and pasting urls, for sharing now work no more, I get the blue Q with the question mark as shown in these web sites I am completely hobbled as far as sharing my videos.

and please explain kiosk mode , I do have Macromedia flash player installed, and I guess Adobe, when I visit different sites with video, and I control click on the player I am able to tell which player is playing the media, only quicktime offers the save to my computer option, this is how I wound up with flip 4 mac, it was recommended to play content , I also just upgraded my safari to the beta version

Make sure you have the latest versions of Adobe Flash Player Software
QuickTime Preferences > Advanced > MIME Stettings > Miscellaneous.
Deactivate the "Flash Media" option.
This tells the browser not to to display Flash Media and lets the newly installed Adobe software work its magic.

Quit QuickTime.
Open User (Home)/Library/Preferences and delete any .plist file with QuickTime in its name. Don't worry as a new one will be created.
Open System Preferences/QuickTime and see if the window and tabs work as they should.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Try removing the Twitter and App World applications from Options, Advanced options, Application or Options, Device, Application Management and then reboot the device, after the reboot visit www.BlackBerry.com/appworld and install, then reinstall Twitter.

Help! Cannot open files with certain applications

I updated to OS Tiger from OSX some weeks ago. Before, I could run a program that labels files in a given folder with names given in an Excel file (csv format). This "csv sorter" usually asks for the csv file once I put in the folder with the files that should be labeled. In the dialog window that opened I could just go through my harddrive to my csv file and choose it. Now the csv files always appear in pale grey and I cannot click on them. Has anybody an idea why certain programs should not recognize certain filetypes any more in OS Tiger? It seems like I cannot access any file with the csv sorter any more, no matter which file type. Thanks for your help!

I figured it out. Thanks everyone!
I had to turn on my wireless mouse... And even though I wasn't using my wireless mouse and just the trackpad...I had to turn on my wireless mouse then adjust those settings...Had to turn down the speed. Then Once I shut the mouse off and started to use the trackpad again it works perfectly.
I'm not sure why the mouse settings would change the trackpad settings but it did.

How do I match CS media serial number with installed application?

We have 4 sets of CS3 media. At one point two copies were upgraded to CS5. I want to upgrade the two non-updated copies of CS3 to CC. I am having trouble determining which copies of CS3 I can update to CC. It is there a way to tell which serial number was installed on a particular workstation. Unfortunately there were no records kept of this.

You can enter the serial number you wish to, it will take you to next page if the serial number is accepted or else it will pop up an error message.
