    Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
    * Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
    If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
    Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
    * If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
    * If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
    * If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

  • F4 help for address field

    Hi,
    In BP_CONT component, for address field I need to provide F4 help. And the F4 should contain the addresses with separate fields as (city.street,country).On selecting the row the data should flow as concatenated manner to the address field.
    Please provide some idea to achieve this.

    I would like to add what Vinamra has said, you need to create a search help through se11 transaction. As per your requirement you need to map address field of the selected row to different fields in UI.
    In search help we have IMPORTING(IMP) and EXPORTING(EXP) Fields or parameter.
    Lets take a simple example, suppose you have three address field house no, street and city. Now you would like to apply F4 help on CITY field so you need to choose CITY field as IMPORTING and EXPORTING parameter in your search help and other fields like HOUSE NO and STREET as EXPORTING parameter only.
    Now following code you need write in GET_V_CITY() method

  • Need Help with Address Display

    I need help with APEX.
    Here's my situation:
    I have a report that displays brief employee information. Among the information displayed is the Address. Right now, it's display as:
    Mr X
    Employee Id
    Accounting Department
    Address 1
    Mr X
    Employee Id
    Accounting Department
    Address 2
    I would like it to display
    Mr X
    Employee Id
    Accounting Department
    Address 1
    Address 2
    1) I have thought of using the Break functionality; however, the function only allows break at column 1, 2, 3. As you can see Address starts at column 4. Also, Address has a few columns; Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State, Zipcode.
    2) Stragg functions - I'm not sure how to implement it since it has more than 1 columns.
    Any ideas?

    The example I gave you, using analytic functions is a simple one.
    Now, you are saying:
    1. some of the employees may have two adresses?
    2. if this is the case, your employee appears in the report twice?
    3. you don't want his name, employee id and accounting department to appear twice?
    4. only his address has to be displayed?
    If the answer to all the questions is yes, this kind of query will help you. I repeat:

    I was trying to remove a bookmarked address, and the entire address bar disappeared. How do I get it back? None of the Safari preferences help pages

  • Need help exporting address book and emails

    Hi everyone; I have a problem that should be easy to answer, yet I've been in contact with several IT people and 90 minutes later still have no answer. As the forum heading suggests, I am using Novell's Groupwise Webaccess. I was given an email address through my University employer, and this is the email system that they use. I have ended my contract with the university and have been given 60 days more usage of Groupwise, but I would like to keep at least some of the information in my emails.
    Questions:
    1) can I export my address book to... anything, really, just so I can keep my contacts?
    2) is there any way I can download my emails?
    This extra info may or may not be helpful:
    I only have access to the web version of Groupwise
    I am using a mac
    I have other email accounts, including gmail, hotmail, and outlook. I don't mind exporting this info into any of them.

    With only webaccess, it is difficult. However, you can use cut and paste or forward the email to another account. You just have to be creative...and willing to put a little elbow grease into it.

  • HELP-lost address book in dock

    I know this must seem trivial to most of you but I'm trying everything I know to get back the address book icon in my dock. Please let it be simple to fix. Thank you to anyone who can help.

    Glad I can help. You can also drag apps off of the doc where they disappear in a puff of smoke, but not while the app is open. An open app is always in the doc.
    If you open an app that didn't have a dock icon beforehand it will show up at the end of the Dock on the right, just to the left of the partition. When you quit that program it will disappear from the Dock. If you want to keep it on the dock drag and drop it to another position and it will stay there after quitting the app.

  • Can anyone help with Address Book problem ?

    Hello ! I hope someone can help. I just tried to open my Address Book application, which I guess I haven't done since our upgrade...and I am unable to open the app. message comes up saying: "You can't use this version of the application Address Book with this version of Mac OS X. You have Address book 4.1.2
    running os x 10.6.4 for a few months now since my husband upgraded it...???
    Any thoughts? I can still hit the Address book icon from within the Mail program in order to address something, but of course you can't edit, etc. from there !

    Pop in your Snow Leopard DVD then open the Optional Installs folder. Double-click on the Optional Installs package. You can selectively reinstall some applications by checking the ones you want. Check Address Book then click on the Install button.
    This will reinstall the original version of Mail. Now download and install the 10.6.4 Combo Updater from support.apple.com/downloads/. This should fix the problem.

  • Help! Address Book search is broken (on MacBook)

    The search function on Address Book no longer works on my MacBook running 10.7.5
    There seem to be a number of other related problems. Two of them are:
    - Contacts won't open
    - Difficult to create new contacts
    - Difficult to delete cards
    It would be too long to go into details, which seem to change by the day anyway. All I know is it's broken. Is there a way to reinstall? Or do some kind of diagnostic?

  • Browser's helpful URL address bar is not actually ...

    In context to S60's default browser. When you start browser, it takes you to deafult Bookmarks page with URL address bar at the bottom of the screen. And there is pretyped URL http://www. to make life easier where we can starting typing main part of the web address.
    This is actually not helpful because -
    1) most of the web sites we visit from mobile starts with m. or mobile.
    2) many mail sites start with mail.
    3) and for all those websites which starts with www. can start without even mentioning www (as this has becom norm these days e.g., nokia.com, hotmail.com, ovi.com etc).
    Lets visit mobile.xyz.com. Since there is no direct way to go to URL address bar (except long way of going through Options), you type random character on the keyboard, this character gets typed in the bar and cursor is finally there, hit backspace 5 times and then you are ready to type the actual URL.
    What nokia should do is change pretyped URL to just http://
    Don't you think this is a common sense?

    I agree with you.
    It is very confused some time.
    Blackbery solved same problem easy. when u open browser default string http://www is already typed and if u pres backspace key (like delete or "C") it will delete www string only. hope nokia will find some solution for it in future

  • Help Lost Address Book

    I have been using the back up process for the Blackberry Cureve 8310 before but have made a mess up of the downloading of the new addresses and now cant find them!  Quite important as over 416 addresses!
    I wonder if anyone has any suggestions on where I can get these back and down loaded from the computer back on to the blackberrry!
    As you can imagine this is doing serious damage to my business as now some may be lost for ever!!
    Any help - thoughts on what to do!
    By the way Blackberry Office applications is dead over the weekend and Bank Holiday when I really needed them! 
    Is there any other help line anyone knows of in UK?  0871 200 3198 was the one I was given by O2 provider!

    Hi there!
    Since you have been using the backup process (good job!!), you should have backup files on your PC. Search the entire hard drive for files with an ipd extension (*.ipd). Inspect the results (date/time of the file, mainly) to see what might be your best to use. Then, launch DTM and use it to initiate the restore process, setting it to use as the source the ipd file that you selected above.

  • HELP my address book has died!

    I wanted to help a friend to extract her email addresses from her applemail address book. I exported her contacts to an abbu file, and then exported my own addresses to another abbu file to back mine up. Next I tried to import her abbu file, but the import didn't work and the addresses were not imported, even though it seemed to take time working. So then I tried to restore my own contacts from my own abbu file so that I could continue my own, however my own abbu file did not import back again either and now I have an empty address book. What could have gone wrong with my file import from backup?

    Right-click on your backup file and choose Show Package Contents.
    Open the Metadata folder and you should find lots of vCards that have lots of letters and numbers as names. If you have what appears to be all of your contacts, then your backup is ok and has what it needs.
    If it does look ok, then you might try running it again. If that doesn't work, go into your username/Library/Application Support/AddressBook folder and remove everything. Double-click the backup again and see if it works.
    Finally, you can just use manually copy everything that is in the backup package (again use Show Package Contents) into the AddressBook folder mentioned above.
    If that doesn't work, try running the Import command in AB and select the backup.
    If that doesn't work I don't know what will, but perhaps restoring from another backup.

  • HELP! Address Book database all lost, says "corrupted", won't open.

    HELP!
    Recently installed Tiger 10.4.3 combo update. Or --- did that FBI virus get me? The same day as update I noticed a bunch of spam in my dotmac email (it's forwarded to Yahoo account). One spam was that FBI scam. As soon as I uploaded the spam attachment to forward to the real FBI site complaint address, my entire address book was wiped out. All files. Now it won't open, even for me to attempt to merge or Sync or to import my backup AB files. Error message comes up after about 2 seconds and it says "COULDN'T OPEN THE ADDRESS BOOK DATABASE. The database is corrupted" with a 'quit' button.
    Can I uninstall AB somehow? If so, how? Can I reinstall a fresh version, too?
    HELP!

    I created a form that will be submitted to certain different email addresses based on an option selected from a drop-down list (named Customer).
    I tried another script posted here, but that was based on the assumption that there was only one choice per email address in the list.
    I wrote this on the change event of my list. I want the variable "emailAddress" to adopt the correct email address, based on the value of the option selected from the list:

    The form worked fine the first time, but after that, all submissions are going to [email protected] I'm thinkking that the variable emailAddress has now a fixed value, and does not change.

    try
    if (Customer.rawValue == "3"|"4"|"7")
    Note the double equals sign. That's the equality comparison operator in javascript. The single equals is assignment.
    if that still doesn't work, try
    if ((Customer.rawValue == "3") || (Customer.rawValue == "4") || (Customer.rawValue == "7"))

  • Need help Printing Address labels from Address Book

    I have a new iMac using OS X.4 1. I want to print address labels for Christmas cards. 2. I want to print several address labels of the same information for return address labels. I can't seem to figure it out. I've read the Help. I don't see where to put the # of labels per page. I created a Directory with only one name it it (so it would print several times on one page.) I selected Avery Standard - label 5162. Under label I selected Distribution List. I seem to be missing something.

    I wanted to do the same thing. The only way I was able to do this was to create a new group, then enter my name and address 30 times (the number of labels per sheet on Avery 8160). Then I was able to print as many sheets as I wanted. The bad news is you have to enter 30 times, the good news is once you done it you can print as many labels as you need. good luck
