I have read the .d7d data files with the DWDataReaderLib.dll in labview,i can get the data and time_stamp through allocate memory (data and time_stamp) then call DWGetScaledSamples ,but when i want to allocate the DWChannel structures then call DWGetChannelList to get channel list properties,it will fail .In fact,now i don't konw how to get channel list .In my program,i have allocate the DWChannel structures ,but it doesn't export the data ,and when i wire the array of channel list,the labview will destroy.thanks

You can't do this in the way as in your example. Your DWEvent and DWChannel structures both contain fixed sized string elements. This means they are inlined in the structure. The only way in LabVIEW to create a compatible structure is to create an embedded cluster with the according number of byte elements. So your DWEvent cluster should be really a LabVIEW cluster which contains an int32 event_type, a 64bit float, and then another cluster containing 200 unsigned 8bit integers. The same rule will accordingly apply to DWChannels.
On return you can then use ClusterToArray and then ByteArrayToString to convert these bytes into a string. You should clip the array to the first 0 byte before converting to a string, otherwise you will always get strings that contain 200 characters, with random characters after the first 0 byte character in the returned data.

Call a dll for Labview: Function not found in library

Hello,
I am trying to call a very simple .dll form Labview. I compiled the .dll for x64 using Visual Studio 2010, because I am using Labview(64-bit). I did everything exactly the way I read it in several Tutorials. But the "Call Library Function Node" doesn't create a popup menu with the avalible functions like it is supposed to do. The Import Wizard doesn't find any functions neither. What is wrong with my .dll?
I added a block marked 'extern "C" ' into my source file, but it still won't work.

You need to define an entry point to the DLL

Also add extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) to your functions

How to call VC++ dll whiich return char[] data type value in powerbuilder

Hi Everyone,
I am using PowerBuilder 11.1 build 8123.
I am calling VC++ DLL in our PowerBuilder application which return char[] data type value.
I just declare Global External Function:-
     Function char getOSSectionName() library "DocServClient.dll" alias for "getOSSectionName;Ansi"
And then call this function in window as:-
     Char      ls_section[1] = 'DOCAPPLICATIONS9X'
     ls_section[1]=getOSSectionName()
When I check ls_section[1] value in messagebox it display a symbol (please check attached attached image.)
VC++ function and return variable declaration:-
     __declspec(dllexport) char * __stdcall getOSSectionName()
       char    SectionName[_MAX_PATH];
Please let me know that my code is valid or not.

Thanks to Everyone for your suggestions.
I am solved my problem to change VC++ function as :-
     Int __declspec(dllexport) __stdcall getOSSectionName(char* SectionName)
                    instead of
     __declspec(dllexport) char * __stdcall getOSSectionName()
and declare global function as:-
       Function int getOSSectionName(Ref char ls_section[100]) library "DocServClient.dll" alias for "getOSSectionName;Ansi"
and call function in window as:-
     int li_ret
     char ls_section[100]
     string ls_sec
     li_ret=getOSSectionName(REF ls_section)
     ls_sec=ls_section

Query for getting Workcenter data

Dear Professionals,
I got an issue where user needs the data from the work center. So i made a query joining the table CRHD, CRCO, CRCA & CRTX here for all the Tables OBJID & OBJTY is available, but the query results in "no data found". Am i doing some mistake else is there any other way i could get the data.

1. link CRHD- CRCO with left outer join - do You have the data in both table? if yes
2. change CRHD-CRCO to inner join and add CRCA with left outer join - do You have the data?

Urgent help needed in configuring X1151A for RAC cluster

for RAC requirements I have to configure this card to use the interface name of ce1 but I have tried changing slots and puting /etc/hostname.ce1 file out there but it fails .. it always comes up as ce0.
my question is : How can I cofigure this card to come up as ce1 ? in the other box I had to do nothing .. i just placed the /etc/hostname.ce1 file with hostname and it works perfect.

Look for "ce" instances in the /etc/path_to_inst file. You'll need to change the lines so that the hardware path you want is "1".
Keep a backup and write down the pathname. You can give that path to a 'boot -a' prompt if anything bad happens.

Query for Getting previous date in oracle in specifc scenario

I have the below data in a table A which i need to insert into table B along with one compute column.
TABLE A:

Table B:
In table B,there should be no of days to be shown when balance is negative and the date one which it has gone into negative.
So,for 6-Jan-2013,this table should show below data:
Account_No | Balance | As_on_date | Days_passed | Start_date
1001 | -310 | 6-Jan-2013 | 3 | 4-Jan-2013
Here,no of days should be the days when the balance has gone negative in recent time and not from the old entry.
I need to write a sql query to get the no of days passed and the start date from when the balance has gone negative.
I tried to formulate a query using Lag analytical function,but i am not getting how should i check the first instance of negative balance by traversing back using LAG function. Even the first_value function was given a try but not getting how to partition in it based on negative value.
Any help or direction on this will be really helpful.

I think you can apply the Tabibitoshan method here. The query is more complex but performs better than other methods. For an explanation, see Tabibitosan method tutorial by Aketi Jyuuzou
The idea behind the method is to identify "continuous" records without gaps. Here I identify records that are "continuous" because they contain an uninterrupted series of negative balances.

MS Project 2007 - Help with custom field calculation for grouped by dates view

I am trying to creat a view that counts number of students in courses (while # Students is a custom field that is filled manually and courses are tasks).
The view should be grouped by Quarters, Months, and weeks (Calculated custom Text fields)
The weeks groups are displayed by the start day of each week.
For example:
The view counts how many students are in courses in a specific week/month/quarter.
This is the group by definition:
Those are the fields calculations:
“WW_Start” field calculation:
(Year([Start]) & " W " & Format([Start],"WW") & " " & "   [" & Datevalue(ProjDateSub([Start],CStr(Weekday([Start])-1),"Standard")) & "]")
“MM” field calculation:
Year([Start]) & " M " & Format([Start],"MM")
Basically it works but it doesn't cover a situation where a course is more then a week.
Lets say that the duration of the task is 12 days, the task should appear on 3 different weeks groups.
But what i did puts the tasks only in the group that shows the first week of the task.
How can i change my calculations or my view so that in the second, and third week of the task it will also show the task and it's attributes.
For example:
- "UV5 ACM" task should also be in W 45 not just W 44.
Anyone has an idea how to do that?

I think you understood correctly what is my issue.
Second, about your question: the class have the same number of students during the course period.
It will have 10 students even if the duration is 1 day or 10 days.
if you look at the basic gantt chart you will see a row like this:
Task name        Duration        Num_Students     Resource names (Instructors)
Course YYY       10d                10
Instructor X
it is an attribute on the task, not the assiment.
When i group by dates (Weeks, months, quarters) or by another field (can be course type for example) i the students are summed in the task summary level for all tasks.
Lets say i group by all the tasks (Classes) that are in the 1st quarter, and lets say for the example that there are 3:
Task 1 --> 5 students
Task 2 --> 10 students
Task 3 --> 7 students
Then, the group by summary should count:
Quarter 1 - 2014:   22 (students)
Task 1 --> 5
Task 2 --> 10
Task 3 --> 7
By the way, it doesn't matter if the version is project 2007,2010, 2013, the logic is the same.

You can expose the APIs in the Non-SAP backend as Web Services, and consume them in SAP by creating an Enterprise Proxy. Then these can be called just like normal class methods from Web Dynpro.

Need U2ltdate.dll for Cyrstal Reports for Enterprise on 64 Bit systems

I am working through migrating older reports from a very outdated version of Crystal into a newer version and trialing Crystal Server 2013 with Crystal Reports for Enterprise. The only problem I am running into is that I have added the u2ltdate.dll to the correct folder inside of windows/system32 and in the program files(x86)/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/win32_x86 and the win64_x64 as well just to be sure but I am still getting the following error in crystal reports: "UFL 'u2ltdate.dll' that implements this function is missing." Does anyone know what I am missing or if I need a different dll for 64 bit? Thanks!

you may wish to look into replacing the formula code that calls this dll with built in date functions instead. please see your online help for more info on Date() functionality.
also, please see this post from Don Williams on using this dll in a 64 bit program. it deals with a 64 bit vs app but I am assuming that the necessity to recompile to 64 bit would be the same when trying to utilize the dll in 64 bit enterprise.
in this post Don also mentions that the source code is no longer available for the .dll and in that case you'd need to look at switching the formula syntax from referencing the dll to using built in functions.

I quite do not get what you are trying to achieve here.
- In a mapping, use the DBMS engine sysdate command.
- In a variable, you can refresh the variable value using a "select sysdate from dual" type of query.
- You can also use the appropriate odiref substitution method to get a date. For example:
Current year is: :<%=odiRef.getSysDate("y")%>
