Help me in creating a collection of Themes. After I save the file and save, it says there is an error in the form.
I need step by step instruction I think. I saved the icon as a png file. I browsed to the file and saved it. But it always returns the same error msg: "there is an error in the form"
It might be because the new Firefox's are not compatible with many
of the themes.

Help, I had aperture open and working on a image and did not have a battery in and bumped the power off. As a result it will not open my master, it is locked. when I try to open that Library it says There was an error opening the database for the library. I have tried every thing. Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down. You'll get 3 options.
Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue. -

Hi - in the app store, I've logged in with no problem, but when I go into my existing purchases and have INSTALL next to everything I've bought, and try to click on them it says;
"There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (100)".
I've tried restarting, clearing all caches, buying and downloading new apps (which works), and also buying and downloading more music from iTunes too (so I update all T&C's etc too, and update all payment info). Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear below what you entered.

The Terminal window doesn't show the output. Please don't copy anything from there. -
I tried to download an app on the mac app store and it continues to say: "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (null)" Please help me. Thank you.
Change your Date & Time settings to reflect automatic. It will fix the problem.

can't get my epson sx535wd to work. my epson will get contact with my router (sitcom wl306) and my mac is on wifi, but they can't connect. epson can't find the computer and my report says: there are conflicting channels on my router or entry point. please help
OK, let's try these................
1 - Boot up from your install DVD and run "Repair Disk" from the Utility menu. When done, restart back to your desktop, repair permissions and restart your computer. Re-connect your printer.
2 - Download & install the Gimp drivers. Make sure the one you install is compatible w/your OS-Gutenprint 5.2.8-pre1. Repair permissions, restart your computer & re-connect your printer when done.
The Epson model I have, in order to get it to print wirelessly, I had to install a Gimp driver.

If still unsuccessful after trying all of the above, the problem could be your iBook or human error. You can either call Epson & ask to speak with a Mac savy supervisor or return the printer & find another that is compatible w/your current OS. -
Photoshop creates wonky file permissions after different user modifies file and saves over
We have a fileserver sharing out files to Windows clients using samba service on Mac OSX Server 10.6.5.
We have weird permissions issue with psd files in Photoshop CS5 64 bit.
A user (userx) belonging to the group wheel creates a file called version1.psd
POSIX
ACL
user Read & Write
wheel Read & Write
others Read & Write
A different user (usery) opens version1.psd, makes some modifications and save it out as version2.psd
POSIX
ACL
usery Read & Write
wheel Read & Write
others Read & Write
Now userx opens version2.psd and makes modification and saves the current file. Userx can nol onger access the file he just saved.

This led me to test modifying original file (version1.psd) and save. It does the same thing.
Don't understand why it has this behaviour. Is this some kind of bug with photoshop as when we do modifications outside of Photoshop, permissions are always fine? Thanks ahead for any help.We have solved our issue.
After running Adobe updates on machine that uses CS6 and then re-starting that machine, our issue seems to have disappeared.

Hi, when my boss wants to save a new file in a new subfolder, he presses "new folder" but cannot create a new one because a “read only” error box appears. Once he saves the file to his Desktop he clicks on “save as” again and then he can create a new subfolder by pressing “new folder.” Is there a way to create and save to a subfolder directly without having to first save somewhere else?
Your server file handling has nothing, and really nothing to do with Adobe software. If files don't get locked for (over-)writing and/or lose connection to the program opening them, then your server is misconfigured. It's as plain and simple and that. Anything from "known file types"/ file associations not being set correctly, MIME types being botched, crooked user privileges and file permissions, missing Mac server extensions, delayed file writing on the server, generic network timeout issues and what have you. Either way, you have written a longwinded post with no real value since you haven't bothered to provide any proper technical info, most notably about the alleged server. Either way, the only way you can "fix" it is by straightening out your server and network configuration, not some magic switch in Adobe's software.

I spent time online chatting with reps from Samsung who tried to get me to do a factory reset even though I'd already told them I couldn't access the screen at all. They ended up suggesting I just send it in for a warranty replacement as the phone was only purchased in the summer. I'd like to see if there are other options? I'm trying Verizon's Software Repair assistant but it seems to be stuck at the 25% downloading mark for quite some time. I'm worried I've killed all my data back up as a result. ANY help would be incredible now.

my new windows 8 laptop pops up with an error message every time i plug my ipod classic into it. itunes is reconizing it and everything but it makes my computer restart whenever it gets plugged in.
i just did that and it comes up saying to log in with my stepmoms apple ID... shes never been on my computer or even ever touched my ipod or itunes. how can i bypass this to just get the songs that are already on my ipod to my library? i have my entire library set up in my itunes on my other computer, is there any way to get that itunes to my new laptop?

Photoshop CS3 "There was an error initializing the adobe help application..."
So, I just installed CS3 and I went to the photoshop help (F1) and an error pops up that says "There was an error initializing the adobe help application. You may need to reinstall the application and the help component.". I have uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop multiple times, I have also used "WinCS3Clean" to clean it out and the same thing happens. Would anyone have an idea how to fix this?
What are your system language settings, in which language do you install and in which language do you run Photoshop? If there's a mismatch, Help will not launch even if it sits somewhere on the disc. In any case, you can find all help files online at http://livedocs.adobe.com, often with updated info and user comments.

Just got my Mac air and i would like to make a file to store some web addresses for my new business with rodan and fields and I can't do it. Made the file but i cant copy and paste the web addresses in the file to save them. Please help and thank you.
Yes - well you have to make the file in a word processing Application.
You could use TextEdit (it's free) Pages (words only), or Numbers (data base) (they are part of iWorks - and may or may not be free (included) on your machine. You could use MS Office (it is not free) You could use any Open source word processor that plays well with Office (NeoOffice, StarOffice) they are free.
That's how you create content and copy/paste URLS. Then you save the file to the desktop. If you are going to make more than one file... you make a folder on the desktop and save, or drag the file(s) into it.
You attach it to your e-mail client which will compress it and e-mail it. An excellent reference is to use Help, from the menu bar, also from inside any application. From your library or book store the OS X for Dummies has a lot of useful information (you don't read it cover to cover but look up chapters about what you'd like to do)
You can also make appointments at your local Apple store for individualized help (if a store is nearby) -
