Help! my imovie project library is full of temporary folders.. some are the ones i deleted.. i tried deleting the folders one by one but when i try to open the imovie, the folders keep coming back to my project library..

If it was working on 10/1, why not open up the most recent backup library with a timestamp of that day. Unless you specified otherwise, your backup folder is in Movies in your home folder. You can double-click one to open it in FCP.
The update command actually wants a mounted drive selected.
I suggest not going into the library bundles and moving or modifying folders/files except as a last resort. It sounds like both libraries are corrupted.

Thank you very much for your answer! I have 2 Apple ID, and I have tried both of them and the problem continues. I founf several peolpe with the same problem in apple communities foruns and that really seems that there is some problem. I addded the links for 2 of those discussions.

I have tried to download the book, How Jesus became God" by Bark Ehrman. Even though IBook states download and I have the icon for the book in my library when I try to open the book I get the message, " It is formatted incrrectly, or is not a format that iBooks can open". This is even though I purchased the book through IBooks and the IOS is adequate.

I've been using firefox fine until now. But when I launched firefox page today, suddenly "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application." error sign came up. So I downloaded and ran firefox again, and tried lauching, the same error message. Thank you for your help.

You have to download and run the upgrader then launch iPhoto. Go to the utilities folder in Applications and launch the iPhoto upgrader. Then launch iPhoto and it will upgrade the library

HI bought a new camera Nikon D610 , I am using adobe photoshop CS5 extended, I want to edit my photos in camera raw but it is not possible to do so . I need to download camera raw plugin for CS5 can some tell me how to do so or if there is a link for the camera plugin.
Many thanks Pitt.For that Nikon model you need ACR 8.3 that means CS6 or CC. Or you can download the DNG converter convert your Nikon RAW files to Adobe RAW files. And then process the Adobe RAW files with CS5 ACR version 6.7

When I try to open I Movie thes screen appears with the message "creating thumbnails" and then freezes. None of my events or projects appear in the libraries. I cannot close I Movie or my computer and have to force shut down my Macbook. This is a sudden occurence.
You can never, never transfer an installed copy of PSE. It's just too complex and it strews stuff all over your hard drive in places the migration assistant is not programmed to look. Now you will need to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
after which you can go around and manually remove all the bits from Applications, the library at the top level of your hard drive>application support>adobe, and your username>library>preferences. Spotlight will not help with this; it's programmed to skip these kinds of files.
Then you can reinstall from scratch. Let us know if you need help finding the library folders. -
After updating my MacBook Pro to yeosemite I want my old desktop picture back. I did a full back up before the install. I found the "Settings" folder in Time machine but when I try to open it I get an error message saying "You can not open this folder. It is in TimeMachine".
Can you browse the Time Machine drive from Finder?
If you can and you know where the picture was stored ie on your desktop you can browse through the folder structure to the picture copy it and paste it somewhere on your new install before right clicking it and 'set as desktop background' -
I own 5. And I own 6. But when I try to open 6 am being prompted for my subscription info.Otherwise am locked out. When I ask for support I get referred to a forum. Remember, two licenses. Oh and since I started the project in 5, It's repeatedly failed to manually save, the audio just disappears, it loses the program monitor, fails to save renders, timecode window burn doesn't work, and that's just for starters.

I use 2 accounts, one for work and one for personal.
I have Microsoft Office, in my applications, and I can find it in my work user account, but when I try to open it, it keeps doing start up for Auto updates. and wont open the application. It works fine in my personal (Admin) account which is where I did migration when I bought the laptop. And I've looked on here for similar problems, and everyone says if it's in your applications it should work, but I can't open mine.
Anyone know what I can do?Go to the main Library folder and look for a folder called Application Support / Microsoft.
There are a few folders in there, and you may have to do some digging. In one of them (mine is called MAU2.0), there should be a file called Microsoft Autoupdate. Open it.
It looks like this:
check the button for manual updates.
That should let you open the apps without triggering an automatic update. -
I have adobe editions 4.0 and I've been trying to get library books on my kobo for over 2 hours! The book goes onto my Kobo fine, but when I try to open in on my kobo it says, "Oops! The document couldn't be opened. It's protected by ADRM and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID." It does it with every single book. I've never had this problem before. I've tried everything! Please help.

I keep getting notified I have an update available but when I try to update I get the following msg ,"You have updates available for other accounts To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it.". I only have one account with apple and the software was preinstalled when I purchased my macbook in Aug 2012 with that account. Has anyone had this problem or know how to find out what account apple needs?
You log into the App store using the same Apple ID you used to set the computer up, verify that none of your apps are hidden and that they have all be accepted and then download and install the update

I just received a new mac and I am trying to sync my ipod to it but everytime I try it stays stuck on the "backing up" section of the sync. I have already unauthorized my other computers like the instructions said to but that did nothing. Please tell me what I should do or how to back up my device.
