HELP!! my laptop says that I've lost my driver and I cannot use my dvd rw!!
I cannot seem to find my driver!! It's gone! And I have tried reloading it,but my dvd drive doessb't work! How can I get it reinstalled? I have a Compaq presario ,CQ60 615DX

The following procedure will test if your notebook can start from a bootable disc in the CD/DVD drive - the advantage of trying this is that it will rule out any possible Windows driver error as the CD/DVD drive is under the control of the Bios when starting the notebook. So if you find that the notebook will not boot from the CD or DVD, then it's almost certainly a Hardware fault in the optical drive itself and it will need to be replaced.
Using another PC to create a Windows 7 Rescue CD and DVD. Download the relevant ISO from the link below.
Windows 7 32bit
Windows 7 64bit
You need use an application such as ImgBurn to correctly burn the ISO to a CD and then also burn it to a DVD - a guide on using ImgBurn to write an ISO to a disc is Here. Once created, insert the CD and then restart the notebook and see if it boots from this disc - if it does, let the first screen come up ( this will show repair options etc ) then just remove the CD, insert the DVD and restart the notebook again to see if it will also boot from this disc. If the notebook will not boot from the CD, it may just load straight into Windows, in which case, just remove the CD, insert the DVD and restart to see if it will boot from this disc.

Lost hard drive space & recovery partition using Recovery DVDs
My computer crashed, so preformed and system recovery with the System Recovery DVD that I purchased from HP when I bought my HP Pavilion dv9834cl Notebook PC.
When the process was finished, I only got 32 gig of Hard Drive, It's a 320 gig HD! I lost 100 gig of hd space and the recovery partition.
I’m stuck. How can I format my hard drive and create a new Recovery Partition?
HELP!Boot into OSX and re-run boot camp assistant. Select the option to remove/delete Windows partition (if you see it).
If not, open disk utlity and try to erase and combine the Windows partition back into your Mac one. -

So I am pretty upset with the apparent overwrite of a new Apple ID over my 5 years of using a different account. Now I cannot locate my old Apple ID and all my old info is now usurped by my wife's new Apple ID.
I have had my iPhone, iPad, my wife's iPhone and my daughter's iPod on my account for quite awhile. Thought it would be a smart move to sign my wife up to her own account with a new iPad Air. As she started using it she noticed that all my music, contacts and info was on her new iPad. At the same time my iPad kicked me out of a program I was in while telling me I needed to sign back in (to my old account ID). Apple ID no longer recognizes my old account and I have no idea how this process even started as it seemed harmless enough and simple enough to set up. I am highly frustrated and welcome any attempt to help me out of this conundrum.I can understand how that would be frustrating. If you created a brand new Apple ID for her, your Apple ID should not have been affected any more than anyone else's. They are as separate from one another as your Apple ID is from mine.
Since you just bought your MacBook Air, you can certainly contact AppleCare for this, and I encourage you to do so. They will straighten it out.
Until then, if you want to troubleshoot this on your own, sign in to your Apple ID here:

Click the blue "Manage your Apple ID" button. If it says it no longer exists or gives you other hassles, it's probably not worth your effort to pursue. Have Apple fix it.

When I try to send email from my iPad and iPhone it says that I have the wrong username and/or password, but I know they are correct. Can someone help me?
"Your email account" means to tap on the name of your email account. Whatever it is listed as in the settings.
In my mail settings, one of my email accounts is a Comcast account. I tap on the Comcast name and it brings up this window.
Then I tap on the arrow under the Outgoing mail server smtp setting to get to the next window.
In the resulting window, I then tap on the arrow next to the smtp server under the Primary Server setting.
That brings up this window in which I check to make sure that my user name and password have been entered correctly. If those items are missing, enter them in the appropriate fields and then tap done. -

I'm trying to print some pictures in iPhoto but a error message apears in the screen saying that there is no theme installed and I need to have some theme installed. I don't know how to do that. Need help.
Reinstall iPhoto.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List. -
recently updated my iphone 4s software. now it won't sync w/ itunes, says i need updated itunes. i updated itunes... now it says that my desktop software is old and can't run new itunes. Yet, i cant update my computer either. PLEASE HELP!!!! UGHH

Hi I got an email from itunes saying that my pre order was ready and when I click on the link from my ipad it takes me to the itunes store app and then it doesn't do anything help with this please .

Now I can download apps on both my iPhone and ipad2.

Following a message saying that my Startup disc was full and advising me to delete some files, I deleted my trash but then apps started to fail. When I tried to log on again, all I got was a blank screen and a cursor, so I am unable to delete any more files. I am a Mac Book Pro virgin, help
How much free space do you actually have? Go to the Apple menu and select About This Mac... More Info... and click on the Storage tab. You should see something like this...
This will show you how much free space you have and what's taking up all the space on your hard drive. You may need to backup and trash some seldom used files, applications, etc. You have to drag them into the Trash and empty the trash to regain the space. A general rule of thumb is that you should have about 15% of your hard drive storage free.

When I access the itunes store I get an error message saying that Itunes has detected a problem and has to be closed. The rest of Itunes is working fine... Any help?
There could be any number of items causing this. First off is do you have an active internet connection? If so have you tried rebooting you computer?

I have created an 100 page booklet in Pages, with many photographs, and much written word, can I export it to ePub, and make an electronic book, because it says that "Note: The Pages document must have been created using a word processing template"?....
