Help Needed - Image Dimension Issue

Hi...I'm trying to deliver my first e-book, a photography book via iBook Author. I can't get it delivered, because it seems that every image MUST be 1024 by 768, for instance, in a limited range of supported dimensions. Not all of my shots are those dimensions (some have been cropped, for instance, and cannot exactly match the dimensions). Is there any way around this? Thanks!

There are a number of methods to add images to a book and I don't recall them being locked to that size, sorry. What process(es) are you using? Which template?
Are you talking about images in the book, on pages, or cover art or backgrounds, slideshows, landscape, portrait, cropped, masked, etc, etc?

Use JPG for opaque raster images and PNG for transparent raster images whenever possible.
Resize, crop, and rotate images to the desired size and rotation before importing them into iBooks Author.
Use an sRGB color profile in your images to improve size and processing time.
If you need to use high-resolution images in your book, wait to add them until your book is near completion.

Help needed on 2 issues with elements11

1. How can I compare 2 images . I cannot see this facility . Was in previous versions.
2. When using image upload ie from a camera , if I switch to the advanced option, then the top and bottom of the advanced screen, goes off my monitor screen stopping access to either cancel or upload.
Any help greately appreciated.

(1) In Organizer select two thumbnails and press the F12 key. In Editor click the layout icon at the bottom. (2) I suspect it may have something to do with your monitor settings. Go to the control panel and check dpi scaling under Appearance or Display.
It’s not uncommon to see a setting of 125% or higher to improve screen readability but PSE requires a dpi of 96 or 100%
Whilst the Editor Menu will appear at 120% to 149% the Organizer Menu (and the advanced button in downloader) won’t. Sometimes the mouse or tool cursors are distorted.
Try a setting of 115% to 120% otherwise use 100%. A common display resolution, notably for notebooks/laptops, and netbooks is 1024 x 768 but PSE requires a screen height of 800 for full functionality. If your height resolution is out of the range 768 to 800 try experimenting with the slider/settings.

Help needed in solving issue regarding shwoing data

I am using obiee 11g,I am trying to create a report for finding the usage for each user.
Now i have auser column and usage 5 columns.
Each usage column is from 4 tables,3 from 3 diff tables and 2 columns from 1 tables.
I have a head prompt so that report gets filtered for head.
And the users belonging to head will display in the report.
Now the problem is especailly when i dont have data for a user for col4 or col5 of table4
of the report in the database.The reports starts showing "No Data Found".Even though
there are data for col1(tabe1),col2(table2),col3(table3).
I can't put ifnull because there are no data itself its not as there are null data.
So confused where am i going wrong?
Users are coming from tableA with left outer join with othere table1,table2,table3,table4 on username
Please help me out.

You can better go for "Save Current Customization" option available in Edit Dashboard to have user specifi default prompt values.

Help needed: Image Processor.jsx missing in CS4

The Image Processor.jsx is missing from my Photoshop CS4 scripts folder and when I search I don't find it anywhere. (I get "Image Processor.jsx cannot be found" error when I try to do Image Processing in Bridge CS4.) I guess it never loaded. Can someone send it to me so I can load it. Also please tell me exactly where I should put it.

Help needed in solving issue

Using obiee 11g.
I have a req like I have a prompt for showing 2 year value.
Ita year and the previous year and now as soon as the year changes if i set the default value as the year,the year will change in the prompt also.
Untill the user changes i dont want the value to change.
The default selection should be set by the user.
What i meant the default value should be set according to what the user wishes.
Something like if i have the Apply button of the prompt,once i click Apply,it should ask me whether i should set this value as default.
If i click Yes then set that value as default for prompt or else no change untill somebody else changes.
Till that time it should use the value.
Id it possible to do something like this?

Help needed with Letterbox issue

Hi
I am in the middle of creating a movie for DVD and all of a sudden the letterbox effect has started taking place when I import from another movie. The result is that some of my movie has the black bars at the top and the bottom, the rest is "normal".
So I have a couple of questions. Why would the footage I am importing suddenly letterbox when I haven't changed any settings?
If I leave it as it is what will be the end result when I burn it to DVD? Will the clips that have letterboxed show up differently?
How can I fix it? I have read these discussions and read The Missing Manual, however I cannot find an explanation.

I initially tried to Import all the clips using the Import command. I got a message along the lines of Quicktime couldn't parse it - error 43. Then I tried selecting all the clips and did a copy and paste - that was when it first went into the letterboxing mode. I then tried just dragging and dropping one clip, same thing happened.
I don't have the original footage to re-import as it was donwloaded several months ago, so I can't just re-import the original.
This isn't the end of the world for me as I have a Plan B (make 2 DVDs), however I would rather everything I've filmed was on one. I would also like to see if I can ascertain what caused it so that I don't do it again.

Help Needed With File/Image Size

I need a quick way to find an images _dimensions and size in kb_ on a safari webpage without having to download the image.
What I'd really like is to be able to right click on an image and have the dimensions and size in kb displayed. Either that, or use an app to do it.
Right now I am using the Inspect Element tool in the right click menu to find an images dimensions, but it doesn't show size in kb anywhere that I can see, and it's kind of a pain working with all the drop down menus.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried improving your original image with better lighting, better camera, better lens, etc.? What image processing have you done already, or are you starting from scratch? I agree with AnalogKid in providing some sample images to the forum so we can get an idea of what you are working with. Have you performed any morphology processing on the image? Have you tried edge detection functions? There are numerous functions that NI provides with their NI Vision software that will help you process your image, it is just finding the right combination that is the toughest part. Last, if you do have the Vision software, I might suggest taking a look at the Vision concepts manual to get an idea of the different functions and their capabilities. Let us know what kind of images you are working with and what you have done so far, and last, what you would like to eventually see. Thanks, and have a great day.

Upload the images to the images folder and use the markup as you have been using in the following, changing the name of the image to suit.

TS1314 Need help tranfering images to iphone...

I need help tranfering images from my computer to my iphone. I've synced the images but they don't appear on my iphone, also on the file that contains the images, there's a file that says IPOD PHOTO CACHE. I don't know what to do. Please Help...

Need Quick Help: LR and PS issue

In my work flow, I do all of my adjustments in LR but I do send certain photos into PS to get fine tuned and then the file is usually re-imported back into LR so that I can organize my files and upload them to various sites and services.
The issue that I am having now, is that when I choose to save the photo as a full sized JPEG it no longer automatically imports in back into LR even if I manually do it. It only re-imports the photos automatically if I save it as a Tiff.
Someone recommended on another forum that I might need to change the file names which worked, but no longer linked the photo to the original cr2 file.
Could anyone help me resolve this issue?

You might want to read the thread. The OP is rendering the file to PS. Irrespective of whether the RAW file is converted to DNG or not this requires the creation of a TIFF or PSD.
Converting a TIFF to DNG would be pointless ,DNG is a TIFF itself, and create larger files as TIFF's zip compression, which is lossless, is not only the same as used by DNG but can also support layers which DNG cannot.
Personally the only time I open a file from LR into PS is when I have a issue that requires the use of layers as anything else editing wise can be done in LR. I always save with the layers intact so I can reopen if I need. This does create pretty large files, from even smallish originals, let alone 21 MP cameras. However I have loads of hard drive space. If you are short of hard drive space then just enable TIFF's zip compression, this will be at the expense of longer save and open times, but otherwise have no effect on the files itself other than reducing its size considerable.

Thanks for your prompt response, however I have first seen it now. I have placed an active SIM card in the iPhone turned it off and on. It now says SIM locked, please write access code. The problem is I don't remember the password. When I connect it to iTunes it tell me that I have to write the password before it can be used with iTunes...... Do you have any good ideas? Web forms issue clashed - help needed!

i need an urgent as my website is now live, its beyond post-deadline. So I know a kind helpful solution to my problem. Ok here's the thing. I am unable to upload two webform in a single page.
