Help needed in Multiple Receivers sceenarios using BPM

Hi,
I am new to BPM. As per my requirement, based on a business logic i may split the messages into two at message mapping. If i have spitted the messages into two, it should go to different receivers. Or if my logic hasnt splitted the mesaage means it should go to any one of the receivers. I also expect response from the receiver system once its done successfully.
Could you help me how to do this using BPM?

Hi,
You can do it without BPM also, by using MultiMapping. If only splitting is required then I would suggest not to use BPM since it will consume much memory. Instead you can use multmapping.
For Multimapping, go to messages tab in message mapping and select your different target structures and map it as per your requirement. In Integration Directory, go to advanced Interface Determination and proceed.

I have a scenario where i have to send to different receivers based on condition.
I get a incoming message, there i have to check a field for a value.
If the value is 1, the message should go to file.
Else the should send a mail, saying the value is not present.
How to handle this in mapping and design.

In the Integration Directory, Receiver Determination.
YOu have to give the condition in the condition editor, which opens when you click on the first column of the Receiver determination.
IN the condition editor, Chose the expression on the Left hand Side and chose the comparision operator and the value to be compared on the right hand side.
Press enter.
Give the name of your party and service in the column 2 and 4 respectively.
Add another line by clicking on + button.
Do the above steps for the second condition.
Give the Party and service for your mail system.
Craete two interface determination and corresponding receiver agreements one each for your File scenario and mail scenario respectively.

Need Help in File to Multiple Receivers Sceanrio without BPM

My sceanrio is picking the PO data from file and creating SO in multiple receivers. I configured multiple receivers in Receiver Determination and it is working fine.
Since i use multiple receivers i can't make this sceanrio as synchronous one. But i want to know the generated SO number. Is there any way to get this? Or should i use BPM?

I think you can do this with BPM only.
As per multicast pattern you can send a message to multiple receivers and waiting for a response message from each of the receivers.

Help needed - animating multiple characters using nullpanes

I'm currently working on a system where I animate a character by linking body parts and puppet pins (some using IK) of a character to animating null panes. I do this because I want a group of characters that all use the same animations. For instance: I have a monkey and a frog character that use the same walkcycle animation, jump animation etc.
My idea with this is to create a workflow where I can easily create additional characters and apply the animations I already made to it by copying the animating null panes to a new .aep and then puppetpinning/IK-ing/linking the bodyparts of the new character to the panes.
Right now I have set up a couple of characters like this but my problem is I want to revise an animation. I can't simply tweak all the animating null panes and copy it over to the other characters' .aep's because when I delete another character's null panes and replace them with the new versions of them I can't parent the bodyparts to the nullpanes anymore because they don't line up with the pose of the adjusted animation...
I hope I made what I'm trying to realize clear. I'm not a very experienced AE user and I guess there must be an easier way to set this up. I would very much like to hear any suggestions to my problem and/or workflow.

The doc does not mention a separator for the email addresses because we only support one email address per subscription. I have logged a task for our next release to look at expanding it and allowing multiple.

Doubt regarding Multiple recervers without using BPM

Hi Experts,
Our RFC<->XI<->SOAP asynchronous scenario is working fine, in this case RFC is sender, SOAP is Receiver, i want to send some fields form the response of SOAP to be send it as mail using Mail adapter.
My existing asynchronous scenario is like this:
R3 (rfc-sender) <-> XI <-> WebService ( soap-receiver)
i) R3-> sends the request to-> WebService via xi
WebService -> sends the response to the R3 via XI
ii) WebService (Rfc-sender) sends response to WebService (SOAP-Receiver) via XI.
now i need to modify above scenario like this:
I want to send WebService response to Mail and R3 as well at the same time. in this case i need to use Receiver Mail adapter fields need to be send it as e-mail using mail.
in this case : RFC adapter configured as sender
SOAP adapter configured as Receiver
Mail adapter configured as Receiver
Please advice me how should go aobut this scenario with out using BPM.

Hi,
If you are using ZRFC as sender,
then create a outbound proxy for triggering message
ti XI and mail receiver.
Call this proxy in your ZRFC to avaod BPM.
Your SOPA system is configured as Receiver so it won't work as sender for mail to trigger it. So proxy would be better case.

For example, deleting webmailbox letters using checkbox selected and delete button. The mail we checked will delete from the inbox.

Try installing it again and make all the libraries are there.

Configuring a multiple IDOC-File using BPM

My scenario involves 2different idocs which are to be mapped to a file structure,the steps that i have followed in IR is ,
1.Create target MesageType
message Interfaces.
2.Create 2 Abs interfaces based on IDOC
3.Create 1 Abs for o/p of BPM.
4.Create 1 Inb for target.
Message mapping.
5.Two dummy mappings for outbound idocs to abstract idocs.
6.One multimapping(two idocs-->File)
7.One Dummy mapping for Abstract Intf(output of BPM) to target Filestructure(inbound).
Interface Mapping.
8.Two Mesage intf for changing Outbound idocs to Abstract using the dummy mapping programs)
9.One Message Intf using 2 abs Idocs to One Abs File(using the multimapping pgm)
10.one msg Intf for BPM Out --> Inb File (using the dummy mapping pgm)
Integration Process.
I have used a fork step under which there are 2 recieve steps to recieve the IDOCS and then a Transformation step that would multi-map the idocs to the file,then a send step.
Please let me know if the approach is right.
Also Could anybody please let me know what steps do i need to take in the Configuration part and should i use the wizard or should i do it manually.
the problem using the wizard is it doesnt let me choose 2 Message interfaces for the sender ie; IDOCS,

These dummy mappings are needed. As both the Abstract Message Interfaces and the Idoc / Inbound interface will use the same message type, no dummy mapping needed. In the interface determination for these, no interface mapping needs to be mnetioned.

1. Sender Service -- IDOC1 and Reciver Service is -- BPM. Sender Interface will be IDOC1 and Receiver Interafce will be The IDOC abs interface . No Interface mapping.
2. Sender Service --- IDOC2 and Receiver Service is -- BPM. Sender Interface will be IDOC2 and Receiver Interafce will be The IDOC abs interface . No Interface mapping.
3. Sender Service is BPM , and receiver servcice is File. Sender Interface is File Abs interface and reciver interface is the Inbound File interface.
1 Reciver Agreement for the File adapter.

Urgent help needed! How do I use Time Machine to restore my System disc?

I need urgent help. First I discovered that my Library folder was empty. When I tried to restore the library to an earlier version via Timemachine it would not let me because it said the system was in use. Trying to start-up from another system on another internal drive and using various disc repairs resulted in the whole volume to disappear.
Question is how do I get the earlier system from my Timemachine backup drive? I have another Mac where I can attach the TIme machine HD to. Can I restore it from there and then copy the files over to my corrupted disc? All my programs are on there as well, which would take me days to re-install and then there are the other bits, emails, photos etc. Can anyone help?

I don't know what you mean by "nick those." Time Machine will put everything back the way it was at the time of the backup (unless you'd excluded things).
Do you mean you want to restore things from the period after the backup you selected?
For Address Book or Apple Mail, start the application, then +Enter Time Machine,+ navigate to your latest backup, and you'll have a prompt to restore. For Mail, you can restore an entire mailbox. When you exit from TM, you'll see a new folder in your Mail sidebar with the restored items, so you can sift through them and move, delete, or leave them as you wish.
Other items, you'll have to locate and restore via the Finder > Time Machine.

Help needed automate multiple faxes to multiple recipients

Here is what I do each month in my business of buying and selling houses
1. I down load a list of houses for sale from a mls realtor database to excel.
2. The ones I want to bid on I copy to a separate file which I use as the data source for datamerge with word (about 50).
3. Create and save the 50 unique contract offers in one big word doc from the data merge
4. Separate and save each contract offer via a word macro sequentially to get 50 files
5. Applescript renames each file by matching file name to a field on the excel table, which is the fax number.
6. Applescript drops each of those faxes into one folder called 'septoffers'
Requirement 1: I need to be able to take each of those files from the folder and fax them to the desired recipient, whose fax number is now the filename (can also use the excel file that was used to match files to fax number). I'm using Pagesender, but am open to other fax apps
Requirement 2 The goal is also to automatically send the same fax weekly, which conditions the recipient to know that I am interested in their house and keeps us engaged until I can get them to accept my low offer.
If I had to use scanner, it would take all day and I would quickly quit doing it. Doing this from the print to fax in os x would take all day, as would using a scanner.
Please If you can help me with a script or workflow I would really appreciate it.

Hi there.
I connected to my livebox after about three attempts. You have to pair the livebox by pressing either the number one or two that is on the box. When it is in pair mode it stays that way for ten minutes so it gives you chance to try your wep code that is on the bottom of the box a few times. I can't remember which one was successful but i did try the letters in uppercase and lower and one of them seemed to connect.

Help Needed "Camera not asking to use photo location when switched on"

Hey guys, any help would be greatly appreciated.
When I turn on my camera app it used to ask if I wanted to use the location. Now it does not, I am interested in seeing what I can do with the geotagging feature. I checked my settings, and use location is on. I turned it off, backed out, turned it back on again but nothing changed.
When I open up maps and click the little round "find me" button, it works great.
Any ideas on what I can do to get my camera app working again? Thanks in advance.

If Location Services is ON, the geotagging data should be stored with the pics. The iPhone Photos app cannot display that information - you'd need to use a 3rd party app or upload the photo to a photo sharing website that supports geotagging data.
If you want to see that 'use location' request from the Camera app, go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Location Warnings.

Help need on syntex of condition using Information Designer Tool 4.0

I am new to BO.   Here is an illustration of the needs:
1. I have a table mytab (col1, col2, col3).
2. add a custom dimension, called "mydim"
3. click on SQL assistant to bring up SQL expression editor on "mydim".
4. Here what I need to do to define the outcome of mydim:
   *if value of col1 starts with 'A' then mydim=col1*
   *else if col2 starts with 'B' then mydim = col2 and col1 concadnated else col3. .*

try out this option if your database in sql server. If your backend database is oracle then use || instead of +symbol in the above syntax.
one more this you need to consider is the priority of the conditions in the case statement. for example is there any possibility of getting rows with col1 values starting with A and also col2 values starting with B , in that case which one u need to display
