Help needed to record an experiment for a running process
Hi Team,
While trying to record an experiment through Profile Running process option, we found issues in generating an experiment file.The error stated that the directory wasn't writable but we made sure all the permissions are available for the folder. The application is a C++ implementation.

Even we tried manually using the collect command the process started successfully but while terminating the process using CTRL+ENTER we got coredump error

Urgent Help need - How to capture client change event
Dear Gurus,
I am not able to track whether user has changed any field in the table or not. I am using IWDNodeElement.isChangedByClient to capture , but it is always returning me false.

I would not recommend to use the changed()/isChanged() methods. They represents "dirty flags" used by our framework in certain situations ("delta handling"). I don't think that applications need access to it, except in certain situations. Anyway, these flags are set whenever an attribute is changed and reset at the end of the roundtrip.
isChangedByClient() represents a different set of "dirty flags" whose reset is under the application's control. They are set whenever a user changes an attribute (through the Web Dynpro client), but not when server-side code does such a change.
In NW04, these flags are quite coars-grained. A node element is marked as changed when any of its attributes has been changed. -
HELP -Need to record in 640x480
I need to take Captivate 2 shots of Windows XP in 640x480
resolution. (Note: It will not help me to resize to 640x480 after
recording )
XP normally allows a minimum resolution of 800x600. I've been
told to choose the compatibility tab in preferences for the
application startup, but Captivate doesn't have a compatibility tab
(that I can find).
I reset the DPI from 96 to 125 on the advanced screen of the
Display. This gives a pretty good simulation of 640X480 - but
Captivate won't run after I do this!

I have to use a work around in XP to record different
resolutions as well.
Try this out-
Right-Click on your Windows desktop.
Select Properties.
Select the Settings tab.
Click the Advanced button (lower right side).
Select the adapter tab.
Click list all modes.
You should now see a mode selection window, like the one in
the screenshot.
(Make sure that the refresh rate is the same as your
monitor's - Most LCDs are 60Hz, and VGAs are usuallly 72Hz for
640x480 resolution)
Select the desired mode and click "Ok".

Search help needs more records than 500 or 5000
I have a requirement to create search help on a non primary key field . So I need to work on search help exit to remove all the repeating and blank values . The problem I am facing rite now is that search help gets only 500 records by default and 5000 if we leave the restriction field blank . I need to get all the records which is approx more than 100000 and get only the unique values .
Please let me know how I can increase the number of record more than 5000

The following approach might work out in y our case by overwriting the data fetch functionality of the standard Search help
1. Define internal table of desired structure, in the way you get the data from DB table
2. use your custom function module / class method or select statement to get the desired data into the newly
defined internal table
3. apply required sorting / filtering / formatting as per the requirements
3. loop through the resultant data in the internal table and append the records to standard internal
table / parameter RECORD_TAB of the Search help exit. Please make a note that RECORD_TAB has the
structure field STRING which needs to be populated with the correct offsetting..for example, if the first field
is of 10 characters and second field of 5 characters, it should be populated in the following way
loop at itab into ls_itab.
wa_record-string+0 = ls_itab-field1.
wa_record-string+10 = ls_itab-field2.
wa_record-string+15 = ls_itab-field3.
append wa_record to record_tab.
clear wa_record.
endloop.
EXIT.
Please try this approach and let us know.

Help Needed: User exit for transaction IL01 and IL02
Hi,
First of all I would like to take you through my requirement. The
requirement is: When I try to instal an equipment(EQ) at a functional
location(FL) in SAP, I want to pass on the values of these two
technical objects(EQ,FL) to an external system through SAP XI.
I identified two user-exits for this purpose,
they are ILOM0001 and ILOM0002. I found the first exit (ILOM0001) more
relevant than the other as the exit ILOM0001 is responsible
for 'Additional checks before saving a functional location'. The
function exit for the exit ILOM0001 IS EXIT_SAPMILO0_001.
When I load the transaction IL02 and try to instal an equipment at a
functional location in debug mode nowhere did I notice this function exit.
Please clarify whether this exit is called with a different name
internally or I am looking at a different exit altogether.

Help needed in enhancing a query to include excluded records...
I am trying a create a report using SQL. I want the employees who were active (empl_sts = 'A') as off 3/6/2015.
As I included empl_sts = 'A', records like employee id - 101258, were included in my result set which is correct. However, in this process, employees who were currently terminated (i mean terminated after 3/6/2015) were not included in my result set.
I need to include employees in my result set - the employees whose empl_sts = 'T' currently but if empl_sts = 'A' on or before the date 3/6/2015. The employee (id - 101258) is active on 3/6/2015 but terminated on 3/16. This record is excluded in my result
set. But it shouldn't.
(An employee record undergoes various changes over time, so this table empl_hist has multiple records for a single empl_id uniquely identified by empl_key).

Problem Recording FMX1 Transaction for Batch Input. Plz Help
Hi Everyone!!!
I'm using the Transaction SHDB to create a new recording over the FMX1 Transaction for a Batch Input. The strange thing is that when i'm about to save the recording i get the following error:
"A runtime error: SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC"
I tried using the transaction FMX1 with the same data(constants), and it works perfectly. And I know it's not a duplicated key or anything, it works fine when i use the transaction.
This lead me to think that the problem is somewhere when i try to record the transaction.
Any Ideas of how to fix the problem, or does anyone knows if its a SAP problem that needs some kind of fix.
Any help would be really aprreciated!
Thx again.Try using recording method and try to post 1 item...U will get the recording. In this recording, the field might be shown up which can be used.

Thank you for the answer. I can update the values for single results, but the staus is set to 2, not 5. I am setting the paramter in the FM inpproc_ready = 'X'. Still the status is 2 - Processed and not 5- Processing completed. Can you please help with this? Any configuration change is needed?

Help needed. I have a 3TB external hard drive partitioned into 1TB's. I used one partition as backup for the main computer hard drive. But now it is greyed out as shown in the disk utility and its name changed, i dont know how that happened, i tried verifying and repairing it but had no luck. I also tried mounting and unmounting it but still no solution. Anyone to help please?
Looks bad. I would strongly advise backing up the stuff on the other two partitions as soon as possible in case the rest of the drive goes wrong.
Beyond that, Disk Utility has limited abilities to repair disks, DiskWarrior uses a different approach and might, emphasis might be more successful. It has certainly done the job for me in the past when Disk Utility could not.

I need some immediate help writing a java program that determines change of 1 dollar recieved in the amout of quarters, dimes, and nickels when an item is purchased between the prices of 25cents and a dollar. For Example:

Enter the price of the item in cents: 45
You bought an item for 45 cent and gave me a dollar, so your change is:

recording help needed. I'm a beginner, imac, logic express and helix board 12 firewire.
I have recorded my daughter voice only ok, BUT when i import audio file to track 1 as backing track and my daughter is using headphones from the helixboard to sing to she does not record to track 2 when all in enabled.
Should her headphone come from the imac and not the helix board

I recently had to restore my Iphone 4s and ever since I cannot double click the home button whilst the phone is locked and change my music. The controls come up and I can adjust the volume but I cannot change the songs. Help needed please!!
Have you guys been able to activate your iphone yet? I bought an iphone 4s from eBay and it worked fine, but the previous user had left some data on it, so last night I used the "erased all content and settings" to restore it to factory setting so I can start fresh and restore my backup. But now I'm stuck at the activation screen (I get the same "the activation server is temporarily unavailable") and can't get it to activate, even if I use my old deactivated AT&T sim card (I'm on straighttalk now).
I might try activating it with an active AT&T sim card from my fiancee's phone when she gets home, so I'll let you know how that works outs.
If it's true that the server is down; anyone know when it will be back up again? Thanks in advance.
