Help needed to fetch Business Partner ID's related to a user

hi,
I have a requirement to fetch the Businees Partner ID's that are related to a particular user ID,
I am trying to fetch this with the help "BAPI_BUPA_RELATIONSHIPS_GET" .
will it work or i have to use anyother BAPI.

In Web UI scenario:
If you have BuilEmp object, then you can get BP_NUMBER using the relation BuilEmpToHeaderRel.
for ex:
lr_header ?= lr_builemp->get_related_entity( iv_relation_name = 'BuilEmpToHeaderRel' ).
lv_bp_number = lr_header->get_property_as_string( iv_attr_name = 'BP_NUMBER' ).

"Business Partner Does Not Exist" SUS admin user registration

We are currently using SUS.
After business partner is transfered from EBP to SUS via XI, an email is generated to the vendor with a registration ID that allows him/her to use SRMSUS_SELFREG to register an admin user for that company.
When the user registers based on the auto-generated registration ID, the screen outputs "Business Partner Does Not Exist".
I am very stuck at this stage and can't find more places for an error log or any leads.

I am configuring the SUS-EBP on version 5.5 they are in the same client, and my process must rum as follow:
Acepted vendors can be transfered from EBP to SUS in this moment the vendor must receive an e-mail with user and password to acces the SUS and create a user .
The problem is e-mails are not generated and I think the URLs in img Make Settings for Business Partners:
URL for UM I have doubt about what is the correct URL
URL for Notification I have doubt about what is the correct URL

Help needed Regarding a business logic

My business requirement is
requires to get a checksum from the KIOSK field. This would be something like a rule that for a given KIOSK generates a number from 0 to 9.
The Field value contains alphanumerical
Can any of guys help me in this logic.how to generate a checksum for a given field..

Alright I found something I am not sure if it is of use to you , A checksum is generally used to detect the integrity of file
it is calculated oin basis of hash algorithms so how it is useful to for incoming filed values i m not sure

Help needed to understand business process irrespective of SAP

Hello all,
I am an engineer with specialization in electronics and telecommunication. The topic of RFID is thus fascinating for me hence,I have been reading SAP AII for some time now. The components of RFID like tags, readers and communication between them is known to me upto some extend but the business process that SAP AII supports/ implements/ automates are new to me because of which I miss the big picture of SAP AII.
The material I have been reading on SAP AII describes many such process e.g. goods issue, goods return, slap and Ship, logistic process etc. I find it difficult to comprehend these business processes as I think they are described mainly in jargons/ terms (jargon for me) like "delivery processing", "delivery document", "Shipping document", "handling unit", "outbound and inbound process", "goods posting" and numerous similar terms. Moreover I think the explanation is SAP specific.
I feel I should take a top down approach to understand SAP AII and for this I first need to understand the business process in generic/ standard terms. Once they are clear I guess I would be able to understand SAP RFID solution.
I request you all to guide me. Am I taking the right approach? If yes please help me understand the basic business process. Pointers to some good douments or any other resource explaining standard business process will definately help.

You are very correct that being a technical person you find difficulty in understanding jargon terms of SAP.
Let me explain you the scenario:
There are two sides to SAP
1) Functional - Understanding of Business Processes
Here there are two parts:
a) Business Process With Respect To SAP AII - These processes generally deals with RFID technology that happens in warehouses, disribution centers and are close to technological world. These deal only with SAP AII
b) Business Process With Respect To SAP R/3 - These processes deals with SAP AII when integrated with backend systems like SAP R/3, SAP WM or other systems. These talk about the end to end scenario of RFID. Like you pointed out, delivery processing, etc.
Understanding of Core that is part a above and a bit basics about b will be very helpful.
2) Technical - Understanding SAP AII
Here also two parts are there:
a) Understanding RFID as a technology with SAP AII - Deals with understaning technological viewpoints on RFID and mapping it to SAP AII. Example Devices, Tags, Device Controllers, Middlewares and their representation in SAP AII.
Most important is above part
b) Understanding Technological part of SAP itself - For example, ABAP, BAPI, BADI etc.
So this is how it works. You are going very correct and follow above things.

Help Needed in mapping business scenario

Hi All,
I have a RM inter unit despatches for this we are using STO. While doing inter unit despatches we have to pay freight on per kg (Gross Weight) for a source and destination. This has already been mapped by creating a condition type and condition record.
But there is a scenario where in when inter unit despatches happens there is an agreement b/w transporter and company if the company does not load full truck then the company needs to pay a minimum amount which has been negotiated with the transporter in this case, the freight condition is not being payed only minimum gurantee amount is payed to the transporter.
Could any of us help me in mapping only the minimum gurantee scenario in R/3.
We are using STO to do inter unit despatches.

HELP needed on Remote Management set to allow access for all users

my mac mini snow leopard server runs in a data center and i use screen sharing to interact with it. i played with the sharing settings remotely yesterday and changed "allow access for" to all users. i was disconnected immediately and i couldn't logon again. i have no luck changing to other users. i don't want to make a special trip to the center to change it back to whatever it used to be. i can still use afp to connect but the screen sharing option is no longer available. what does "allow access for all users" mean anyway?

As its name implies, allow access for all should allow any valid user account to access the server. I'm not sure why it's no longer working. It almost sounds like the ARDAgent crashed.
Either way there's a command-line interface to the ARD preferences:
/System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/Resources/ki ckstart
man kickstart discusses the options, including examples of how to enable access for specific users.

Distribution of Business Partner Data

I'm trying to determine the best method of distributing business partner data from R/3 to CRM via XI.
Under CRM 5.0 help for Distribution of Business Partner Data, there are two ways given for distributing business partner data.
1. Replication by means of the SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (XI).
2. Distribution via the ALE/IDoc interfaces.
Does anyone have an opinion on which method is best? Method 1 obviously goes through XI, but I'm not sure about method 2.
We won't be using CRM middleware, so that's not an option. We do need to implement XI.

Business Partner Count in CRM or ECC system

Hi Experts,
We have a scenario in CRM. I need the unique Business Partner List.(these are also replicated in ECC)
The scenario are as below:
1.We are creating a Business Partner(BP) for each customer.
2.For each of these BP, Contract acounts are also created.
3.One BP has multiple Contract accounts.
4.One BP has multiple relationships.
5.One BP having multiple contract accounts has multiple Contracts.
6.For one premise,one BP has one contracts account and one contract only.
I need the unique BP.But i am unable to find the unique BP as duplicate BPs are also present in the system which are created due to below reason:
1. By mistake. But duplicate BP don't have any contract account associated with it.
2.If i am an owner of a house, i have my family members or my room mate who stays with me and they are included as a BP relationship. But for them also BP are created.
I have checked in tables BUT000 and BUT100 etc but not able to extract exact number of BP.
The reason for finding the Unique BP is:
There is a company which provides services to customers. Now for each customer, a BP is created. but due to mistake or due to above reason, the customer service representatives has created duplicates or not important BP which are the secondary customers.
Now to know the exact number of BP which will inturn tell me the exact number of customers, please help me know how to extract the data.

I have following comments -
1. How these contract accounts are created ? Through any enhancement done ?
2. You can differentiate the same based on the number range, if you are using different number range for source account and the contract accounts. Say for source account you can keep a number range which will be different than the contract accounts.
3. Also, as a standard, if you create any relationship, it will anyway create a BP id in the system.
4. Also, if possible do the data cleansing by archiving the duplicate BP records in your system.

We are pulling org. structure form HR to SRM system. We are mainating the same central person as well as positon from HR system. But one of the central perosn in SRM is missing the business paterner due to which when I run BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE we get an error business partner no unique, I repaired the user I did not work. How to assign business partner to CP.
We are SRM5.0 ECS

Please try this ->
1.
Go to Web Transaction "Manage Business Partner". (BBPMAININT)
There are several options - go for "Employee for Business Partner" and enter in the field the supplier number or search for the supplier you want to create an employee for. Hit create and fill out the screen. The upper part of the screen creates the employee, in the lower part the user id (with which you logon) is maintained. The structure of the screen is asking all relevant elements needed to create a full SRM users and integrates the account into the Org Model.
For the central Org Unit for Bidders enter the Node Number for the Vendor Root.
How to assign contact person user id to Vendor uploaded from ECC?
OR
2. You need to go into Transaction BP, select the BP for whom you want to change their roles. Click on the change button and then you can select from the drop down field "Change in BP Role" the role that you need for that BP.

Organizational objects do not create a Business Partner ID

I am setting up SRM org structure with PPOCA_BBP/PPOMA_BBP transaction. I am creating, companies, plants, purchase orgs, purchasing groups and positions and the problem is that SRM is not assigning a Business Partner number to any of those.
I have already checked that there is an internal and external number range setup for Business Partners. Do you have any hints why this could be happening? Your help will be appreciated.

Which SRM version are you using ?
I imagine you would like to synchronize business partner data, which are created in backend, into SRM. You can use Tcode BBPGETVD or BBPUPDVD or run/schedule bbp_vendor_sync (need customizing).
You can create BP:->
1) Either via middleware replication from R/3 to SRM - BBPGETVD.
2) Either manually directly in SRM web transaction - BBPMAININT.

Business partner number range - Current number set to 0

I need to initialize business partner number range.
TCode: BUCF
0009000000 -0013999000 Current number 9000029
How can I set Current number to 0.
I have deleted business partners via BUPA_DEL. I need this to be set to 0 so that can bring in legacy data in the desired number range.

From transaction BUCF, if you select "Status" tab it allows you to change current number.
