Business partner number range - Current number set to 0

I need to initialize business partner number range.
TCode: BUCF
0009000000 -0013999000  Current number 9000029
How can I set Current number to 0.
I have deleted business partners via BUPA_DEL. I need this to be set to 0 so that can bring in legacy data in the desired number range.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

From transaction BUCF, if you select "Status" tab it allows you to change current number.
Hope this helps!!!

  • Query regarding finding Business Partner from the External Number

    Hi Group,
I have a requirement to update Address of the Business Partner from the External Number and then using that Business Partner I have to update the Address.
Now the question is that, <b>how I can get the value of the Business Partner by using the External Number</b>( i.e., PAN Number).[PAN No is used to get the
    differentiate the Organizations].
So please kindly let me know how I can achieve this requirement.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Vishnu.

    Vishnu,
Depending on where it is stored, your first option would be use the function module BUPA_NUMBERS_GET.
The other option is to read table BUT0ID if it is stored in the identification details of the business partner.
    Good luck,

  • User-exit number range SSCC-number

For some private lable products we need to use another LE_SSCC number range than for our own articles.
It is produced from the same plant and storage location.
Both the fixed ILN number range and the running number range need to be different.
Does anyone know a user-exit for handling this issue?
    Best regards,
    Terje

Have a look at the IMG path:
Logistics - General > Handling Unit Management > External Identification > SSCC Generation Acc. to EAN128 > Maintain SSCC Generation for Each Warehouse Number
    Here you can set up:
Whse  Seq.nr  ILN basis nr  Number range  Internal    External
When you can assign the external number ILN+number range to the private label products, you might be there. In WM set up under number ranges In- and external number assignment.
Hope this sets you on the right track.
    Good luck

  • Prefix Number range: Transport number range

    Hi All,
Here is the situation. there are 2 dev servers. the prefix number range in both are maintained as 901 . The workflows will be trasported to a single prod servers. Now as i understand this will create some trouble in prod coz two workflows in two system might have the same number.
Now I think maintaining different number range might help. but when transporting to prod how willl this number range will be taken into account. I mean how to make sure that 901 will be transported as 901 and same as 902 range? Do i need to maintain some config in prod system or just reserving both the number ranges 901 and 902 in prod will solve the issue? Just need some confirmation ..
    Thanks in Adv !
    Anuj Sethi

Exactly. The numeric ID that is assigned to your workflow template follows it through the transport system in the same way that the include for a function module follows it.
The difference between workflow templates and reports (in this matter) is that you are not allowed to define the program name of the workflow template. Instead it is composed from the prefix and the next available number in that prefix range.

    Hi,

  • Number ranges cost center cycles

    hej,
when running cost center cycles via KSU5, the posted documents get a sequential number from the number range from business transaction RKIU (defined in KANK).
This is an internal number range (current number shows in KANK).
Now we have on several occasions, "older documents" that get number lower than the "younger" document. i.e. a document created today got a number lower than the one created yesterday. ..
    How does the numbering work?

    Nico

    Hi Nico,
Gaps in number range are possible due to buffering.
Please also review SAP Note 62077 reason why number jumps for CO document is
normal system behavior due to buffering for performance.
Note 62077 explains how to avoid gaps when allocating internal numbers.
The problem can also due to inconsistency in the object number, and in
order to solve that problem you should execute correction program
    RKCORR03,Please see notes 10217 & 106930.
I would suggest you to check the consistency first and then try to
    number range buffer .

  • Alfa Numeric Number range creation

hai SD experts .can any body help me in this issue your help will be rewarded...
i am using 4.7 i know number range creation but i want to create ALFA NUMERIC NUMBER RANGE AND ASSIGN IT TO MY SALES ORDER  can any body help me in this issue with detailed steps pls
    advance thanks
    rag sam

    hi
Pls try with the following ,Hope it will help u out
Number Ranges can be maintained Internally by the system, however it can be maintained externally also if you customize it accordingly.
In Standard SAP the Transaction code for Maintaiing Number ranges externally is VN01.
Defining - The same can be reached through in IMG as : Sales & Distribution>Sales>Sales Document Header-->Define Number Ranges for Sales Documents.
Here you provide the system a specific Number range as follows:
Number range Key Start Number range End Number Range+Current Number
For Example: If you want to propose the following Number Range
    *1     9000076000      9000076999      0
The Current Number field will be kept zero as you are proposing new number range and no sales documents have been created on it , Obviously..
*1 is a Unique Two digit Alphanumeric Key, while proposing your key, you should ensure that it should not be there in the system as existing.
If you propose a key that is there in the system or if the Number Range (Start and End Series) is there in the system already, the system will throw a message that Interval already already exists. So choose a key that is unique, and which is not there in the system.
Here , by making this , you are assigning a Key to a Number Range Series.
All the symbols can be used along with numbers from 0 to 9 and Alphabets from A to Z and in any order. For example: !1, ^A, BB,Z*,M2.........
Assigning - In Assigning, you assign the particular Sales Document to the Number Range you have already proposed as above.
The Assigning Part is done as follows:
The Two digit Alpha Numeric Key is maintained or Assigned to the respective Sales Document type in V0V8.
This can also be reached in IMG by:
Sales & Distribution>Sales>Sales Document Header-->Define Sales Document Types
Locate the particular Sales Doc Type, and double click on it to display it configuration. Here you put the Two Digit Number key in the Field- "Number range External Assignment"

  • What is a Number Range?

    What is a Number Range?

This is regarding number ranges defining and assigning tips which you can follow as below:
Whenever there is a new Sales Org being created, you will be required to maintain Number Ranges for Sales Documents which are allowed for your New Sales Area.

    Besides this:
If a new Shipping Point is created then Delivery Number ranges are required to be maintained.
    Similarly,
If a new Plant is created then Billing Number Ranges are required to be maintained.

  • C4C - ERP business partner number range alignment

    Hi all,
Is there any way to ensure that business partners created in Cloud for customer get the same ID number in both C4C and ERP? As I understand it the ERP number is not assigned until the business partner is sent from C4C? So actually there are two number ranges assigned to a C4C business partner: the intenal C4C number range and the external number range.
If this assumption is correct, would a solution then be to make the internal and external C4C number ranges identical and then set up the replication in a way that all accounts are always sent to ERP (also prospects)? Would that keep the number ranges aligned or are there still risks that they will get out of sync?
I am very new to this so any input is highly appreciated :-)
    Br,
    Anders

    Hi Anders,
While business partners can be created in C4C and sent to ERP,  normally the actual account data is created in ERP and sent to the Cloud (maybe contacts are added in the Cloud).
However, number ranges are configured from the Cloud to ERP.  This is described in the integration guide at http://service.sap.com/cloud4customer.   In the Cloud you will:
    1. In the Business Configuration work center, choose the Implementation Projects view.
    2. Select the line that contains your project, and click Open Activity List.
    3. On the Activity List <…> screen, choose Fine-Tune.
    4. Click Integration of Business Partner Data from Your Cloud Solution to SAP ERP.
The system provides default number ranges for prospects, contacts, and customers that can be used in SAP ERP.
Make sure the number ranges you define match the number ranges defined in the ERP system.
When a business partner is replicated from one to the other, a confirmation is sent that has the external ID mapping.  That means the Cloud always knows the external number in ERP.  You can display this number or even search by it in the Cloud of you choose.    This is discussed in the integration guide in the "ID Mapping" section.  The integration will automatically create this ID mapping for you.  So, if you create a business partner in the cloud, send it to ERP, the ERP number for the partner is returned to the cloud and is the "external ID".
I hope this answers your question.
    all the best

  • ERP -- C4C BUSINESS PARTNER NUMBER RANGE ALIGNMENT

    Hi all,
is there any way to ensure that Customer, created in ERP and after downloaded in C4C, get the same ID number in both ERP and Cloud for Customer?
I've tried to download a Customer from ERP to C4C, defining the same range of ERP in Fine Tune-->General Business Partner-->Define Range Number for Business Partner and defining it as External and Manual (I can't change these parameters into Cloud).
But when I try to download, for testing, this Customer from ERP (with DEBMAS_CFS) it creates the Customer but with an ID which follows the Internal Range Number and so the ID between C4C and ERP are different. I would like to mantain in C4C the same ID number of ERP.
    Can you help me?
    Thanks a lot in advance.

  • Number Range for Contact persons in SAP CRM

    Hi Experts,
Can anyone brief me about the contact persons concept in CRM and ERP?
How and where the the no. ranges are maintained , config settings, link between ERP and CRM?
Standard Account group for contact persons in ERP and CRM?
I would appreciate and points would be awarded .
    Best Regards
    Suchhi

Contact persons can be maintained on both sides. In our case, we mantain contact persons mainly for needs of sales department, so we set master on CRM.
How and where the the no. ranges are maintained , config settings, link between ERP and CRM?
To define number ranges on crm side go to IMG>Cross-Application Components>SAP Business Partner>Business Partner> Basic Settings>Number Ranges and Groupings>Define Number Ranges
For number range created you have to create grouping. This grouping has to be assigned manually or automatically when creating a business partner. The business partner gets a number from the number range that is assigned to the grouping.
This can be defined under IMG>Cross-Application Components>SAP Business Partner >Business Partner>Basic Settings> Number Ranges and Groupings>Define Grouping and Assign Number Ranges
For number range created inCRM system you have to define a corresponding number range in the ERP. This is necessary to ensure that business partners created in CRM system get the same ID when they are replicated to ERP.
Go to IMG>Logistics>General >Business Partner>Customers>Control>Define and Assign Customer Number Ranges
Next define account groups under IMG>Logistics>General>Business Partner>Customers>Control>Define Account Groups and Field Selection for Customer
For each of CRM business partner classifications you have to define a mapping to an ERP account group. Run transaction code PIDE and do the mapping.
And of course your middleware settings must also be in order.
Standard Account group for contact persons in ERP and CRM?
There are no predelivered account groups for contact persons.
