Help Needed to import package

Hi, I am developing a JAVA project following Graphical Editing Framework in Eclipse.
I have 3 packages ( in order of build) - ProcessModel, Process Editor and Application.
I am trying to import application package and use its class in Process Model. But I am getting compile time error " the import cheme.application can not be resolved" .
I assume this error is coming because Application package and its classes are not compiled and hence it is not allowing me to import and use them.
package cheme.ProcessModel.Interpreter;
import cheme.Application.*; // I have tried importing one class also
As suggested in some other posts, I have added the CLASSPATH variable with the folder address of Application package.
Please help me!!!

There is some setting in Eclipse that controls the availability of libraries, it needs to be set correctly. Refer to the Eclipse help doc.

Help needed in importing application - Urgent

I am new fairly new to apex and would be grateful for any help....
I have an application that i would like to import and install... but i am obtaining an error...
Situation is as follows:
Application in machine A with oracle 10g standard and apex 3.0. Workspace is portal, schema is status_portal...
export is working fine.
Need to import it to machine B with oracle 10g and apex 3.0 Workspace is
online_portal, schema is portal
Import also works fine...
But when i try to install the imported application, i get following error:
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. I have tried exporting from machine A to apex online workspace and installing there.... and vice versa...It is working fine...
the problem arises only when i try import & install on machine B....
Please help me.... i need to do this urgently

I will not be able to show the actual application, as it has our customer's information. But i have created a sample application and done the export and import. The details are as follows:
Machine A Details:
Workspace name = portal
worskspace ID = 3727029916111535

Exported Application Name = Status Portal
Exported Application ID = 117
When importing application from machine A to online workspace:

(from workspace auditws and schema audit_schema to workspace online_portal and schema portal)

the application gets installed in auditws and audit_schema itself...

Help needed with regex package

Hi,
I need help about using regex package in the following way.
a String/CharSequence should be there which will be given to the Pattern.compile(REGEX) method.
I need the REGEX sequences according to the strings below
1) From: "*" <*@*> :: Here * is for any number of charecters
2) we will have some file names I want only those files which end with .txt format.
Please help me in writing the regular expressions for the above criteria.

Please help - need to import/create song snippets in iMovie

Hi - I'm making a movie in '06 HD which requires a series of short (apx. 1 minute each) song segments taken from longer songs (apx 4 minutes each). After learning how to first crop the song in iTunes, I could not figure out how to import just the cropped part (the imported song played in its entirety in iMovie, despite being cropped in iTunes). Nor does it seem I can crop the music in iMovie itself. If iMovie had 5-6 different audio tracks I could just lay them down overlapping and only "play" the parts I need. Is there some workaround that I've missed here? Is it possible to make a single "song" in iTunes that is in fact made up of segments of different songs. HELP! I'm on a tight deadline.

I wasn't aware that iTunes lets you crop songs... Here is how you can crop it in iMovie:
After you import a song into iMovie, you drag it onto one of the audio tracks, right? Don't worry about the exact location for now. Now you can select it in the timeline (be careful not to change the volume by accident), then play it. Listen only to your song, don't pay attention to the video. Once you get to the part of your song where you want it to start, hit Apple-T to split it into two pieces at that point. This will only split the song in the selected track, and leave the other tracks alone. Select the part before the cut point, and delete it (Backspace key). Repeat the process at the end point, deleting everything beyond the split point. Now you have just the part you want. Drag it on the timeline until it lines up with your video.

Please help: Need an import 'action'

I'm trying to make life 'easy' in our household for getting pictures into Aperture 3, but I'm at a complete loss as to how to achieve this - it seems Apple offer great flexibility on export, but little on import.
What I want to do, is when importing from a CF card (in Canon format), put the images in:
Project (Year)
Folder (Month)
Album (Day)
I have previously exported to this folder structure, and the 'Projects and Folders' import then created the above - however, there's no way to automatically import into this structure from the CF reader.
Is there a way to do this with an Applescript 'action' on import ? I don't mind getting my hands dirty with tweaking some code, but I've never really used Applescript at all.
Because my wife needs to be able to use this, I don't want to have to manuall create any projects/folders/albums or worry about any other details - just have the import defaults setup such that a card is inserted, import all is chosen, and the structure is used.
I don't want to have a two-stage process unless it's very easy to reproduce. This has to be easy, otherwise I may as well just go back to iPhoto and lose all the great benefits of Aperture.
I was really looking forward to using the import presets as they solve the other main Aperture problem I had, but this is proving to be a bigger issue now.

I really do understand projects. I just don't need them. I'm not wanting to organise things at the moment - just get the images 'into' Aperture, and create smart folders.
I don't actually need a project for this. I could use just one project, as Aperture requires it, but then I'm stuck after 10000 images.
As mentioned in my original post, I was planning on 'sturcturing' by year/month/date as that is a valid structure for me - the problem being which part of that structure is a project (year is more than 10000 images, so it would have to be month) ad how I automatically create that on image import.
I realise everyone seems to want to organise things differently, and most people create a 'project' for an 'event' or 'location' or 'shoot' or suchlike... I don't need that. I take pictures and put them in 1 big pot, and use smart folders etc., later on.
The problem seems to be that I need to actually manage it with projects from the start - I can't just bring in images into Aperture (as the container) and use 'smart' tools to group things together - I have to have a project.
Everyone's answer is about how to structure projects based upon different criteria. I realise this is how Apple expect it to work. I just don't have the time to group things into projects at the moment.
Either way, this is all away from the original point. The main problem I have is not being able to automatically create a structure (of any kind other than a single or constrained auto-split group of projects) when importing directly from a CF card or camera.
What I want, is to be able to say:
On import, split the files by date, and put them in a project / folder / album according to year / month / date respectively. I can't do that, and it seems I have to rely on external functionality, import / export into a structure & re-import, or manually move select move images.
I know you can assign an Applescript action on the import, and I figured that perhaps this could be used to re-structure the images on the import, but by the silence on this point and the fact that everyone keeps pushing me to manually maintain my projects, suggests it just can't be done.

Please help, need to import .swf/flash media

Hi all, have a little issue here. I have some SWF flash media and I want to bring it into imovie so I can edit it more effectivley then with qt. However, I have been haveing alot of trouble, most time I only get the audio part of it and no image. Most of the media is widescreen, I was able to export the media in qt to dv stream and then import it, however, it lost its widescreen look and was kinda squished from the sides if that makes sense, if anybody has expeirence with this type of media, please help.

I've never "dared" to convert .swf, but I read a lot about problems doing so... probably the Quicktime section of this forum is better to ask...
maybe a much easier workaround is using tools as SnapzPro from Ambrosia; this tool claims to "record" any screen content (and audio) and convert it directly into any wanted format (as dv)...
just a thought.......

Help needed for importing the DC's from NWDI track very urgent

I am importing a DC from NWDI tracks.
I imported DC from NWDI with out any problem but i am unable to create a project
it shows an error while i am creating the project for DC in inactive DC's.
error message is :
Failed to sync DC "**.##/lpt/absencerequest/*.##_LPT_**_OPUS_FRAVAER_WEBDYNPRO_1)" in configuration
"JC0_DLPT0003_D". File "C:\Documents and Settings\****\.dtc\1\DCs\**.##\lpt\absencerequest\_comp\.dcdef" does not exist locally after sync but it exists on the server
can you plese tell me why its happening as soon as possible
it is a LEAVE REQUEST application in ESS

Recently i worked on ESS business package and faced lot of probelem to bring the track from NWDI into NWDS. Most of the times the probelms are from importing only. Make sure that whether the DCs which you want to modify is getting imported properly or not. mean the while check the path of the local directory .. whether it is correct or wrong..
re import the components once and try to create the porject in local directory.
to to Work spave -> local directory -> .dtc -> 0 or 1 ( folder) -> DCS -> bin ->
if you still facing any problems pls let me know...

Help needed in importing SSL Certificate

Hi All,
The SSL certificate in our application server has expired. We have created a new certificate and imported it through oracle wallet manger. But the application server is not recognizing the new certificate. Still shows certificate error when we try to access the application via https.
We are using oracle application server 10.1.2.0.2
I don’t have much knowledge on application server.
Please help me on this.

The installation consists of three main parts:
a) Importing the Primary Root CA
b) Import the Intermediate Certificate and Cross Certificate
c) Installing your SSL123 certificate
a) Importing the Primary Root CA
1. Launch Oracle Wallet Manager.
2. Click Operations and select Import Trust Certificates from the menu
3. When the Import Trusted Certificate window appears, click Paste the Certificate and click OK.
4. When the message "Please provide a base64 format certificate and paste it below" appears, paste the entire contents of Primary Root CA text into the box and click OK.
5. A message should appear that the import was successful and you will see the Root Certificate at the bottom of the Trusted Certificates tree.
b) Importing the Intermediate and Cross certificates
1. Launch the Oracle Wallet Manager.
2. Click Operations > Import Trust Certificates from the menu.
3. When the Import Trusted Certificate window appears, click Paste the Certificate and click OK.
4. When the message "Please provide a base64 format certificate and paste it below" appears, paste the entire contents of the Intermediate Certificate text into the box and click OK.
5. A message should appear that the import was successful and you will see the Intermediate Certificate at the bottom of the Trusted Certificates tree.
6. Repeat the same steps for the Cross certificate
c) Importing your SSL123 certificate
1. Click Operations > Import User Certificate from the menu bar.
2. The Import Certificate dialog appears.
3. Select the Paste the Certificate radio button, and click OK.
4. The Import Certificate dialog appears.
5. Paste the entire contents of your SSL123 Certificate file and click OK.
6. A message should show that the certificate was imported successfully.
7. When you return to the main window, wallet status should show "Ready."

Help needed on tor package

I am trying to make a package for the latest alpha tor release.
How ever, the make install is putting binaries and config files in weird locations.

If this was done using makepkg, the bin/ dir would have gone to the /usr dir straight away, wouldn't it? Is this because the make install script is not obeying the "make install"'s prefix option?
EDIT: I tried passing --prefix=/usr to configure, making, then make prefix=/home/russ/pkgs/sandbox/usr install and it wants to put that bin directory straight away into /usr. How can I fix this?
Also how do I fix it so that the usr/etc/ dir will eventually be the /etc dir when it is properly installed? Or will it turn out alright anyway?

Maybe configuring normal looking in the Makefile if you can specify a DESTDIR for make install...
Otherwhise, specify the directories as needed by the makefile, as prefix, bindir or whatever the makefile takes on options.

Help Needed on Importing Pictures for a Contact...

I've managed to get a picture or two in Addressbook, but it must have been pure luck. Tonight I went to replace the "flower" that is next to a persons name, and though I dragged a picture into the little frame where you can enlarge and shrink it successfully, and I pressed the button that says "SET"....the picture never "takes" and replaces the one that is there.
Is there a catch to easily getting a picture to go in here?

Try this (from AB help):
Address Book supports pictures in JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, PDF, or just about any graphics format. If you can view the image with Preview (located in the Applications folder), Address Book can generally use the image as a picture for a card.
To choose an image for a contact:
Select the contact to which you want to add an image and click Edit.
Double-click the image if there is one. If there is no image, double-click the box to the left of the contact's name.
Click Choose and locate the image you want to use.
Drag the image in the box to select the portion you want to appear in the box.

Help needed for importing Word with notes

I have a Word document that has about 80 short sections to it. Each section has endnotes, and the note numbering restarts with 1 at the beginning of each section. I have tried to import this document into CS3, but each time the notes appear as endnotes at the end of the document, not the end of each section. Worse, they number consecutively across sections. Quark, which also dumps notes at the end of the document, at least retains their original numbering, so I could cut-and-paste them back in place. Any information or suggestions on how to work this in INDD? Many thanks.

This Google search should find at least a few useful suggestions: InDesign word endnotes side headings script kahrel. "Kahrel" is for Peter Kahrel, who's contributed many useful InDesign scripts to the community, especially one that manipulates endnotes.

Help needed to import movies to iTunes

I have a QuickTime movie file (.qt) I'd like to add to my iTunes library but whenever I try to iTunes doesn't do anything. Here are things I've tried to do:
Clicking "Add File to Library"/"Add Folder to Library"
Dragging into iTunes
Looking in "Home Videos"
Checking that my file isn't "Read Only"
Updating both iTunes and QuickTime
From the file, clicking "Open with --> iTunes"; it acts like it's going to open and a new window is about to pop up, but nothing happens afterwards/nothing opens
Converting to a .avi file, same results
Any help please?

Help needed re import problem

Hi,
I've mistakenly imported a batch of files from my Nikon as NEFs, rather than DNGs. Unfortunately I captioned and keyworded them before realising my mistake. To avoid re-captioning and keywording I'd prefer to change them to DNGs rather than delete all and re-import.
I've tried going to the import dialogue to copy them as DNGs, but it won't allow me to do it. Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Just select them and click Library-> Convert to DNG in the menus.

Import package problems

if my program need to import package A which store in :
C:\Documents and Settings\sharon\My Documents\project
and my java file also store in the same folder, but i always got this error:

Assuming you have the following: C:\project\A\Class1.class
C:\project\A\Class5.class
C:\project\test.javaand assuming all the Class1.java-Class5.java files start with package A; and assuming test.java starts with import A.Class1; And assuming javac.exe is in a directory that's on your path (NOT classpath), then if you do, in a DOS promptjavac -classpath . test.java
or
javac -classpath C:\project test.java it will work.
You say you're using an IDE. Somewhere in that IDE's preferences/options will be a place to set the classpath. It must include . (a dot, meaning the current directory) OR the full path up to and including ...\project. (Dot may actually not work, since the IDE might not have the same notion of "current directory" as you would in a DOS prompt. There may also be a setting for "project root" or something. It really depends on the IDE.)
Side note: Convention in Java is for package names to be all lowercase, and for class names to start with uppercase.

Need to import my java class. Please help

I made a java class named GetOS which contains a method that return th OS name. Then I deployed this class to a Jar file called tarek.jar.
now I need to import this jar file in my form
i'm using forms9i release2
I did the following:
I copied "tarek.jar" to \\developerhome\forms90\java\
then I opend the forms builder - program-import java class but my jar file "tarek" doesn't exist in the list.
please help.

I solved this problem. I editing the class path of the system control panel>system>advanced and it works fine
Now i can import my class easly without any problems
But when the forms builder imported my class , it generates a pl/sql package which contains a function with the same name of the method i did in my class.The problem is I do not know how to call this function
