Help on Decision making required

Hi,
We've an intranet based application running on weblogic (both a/s ans w/s) and we would like to introduce another module to this application and give this module alone the internet access -- internally this module shares lot of resources with the existing application. As this is going to be internet based module and supports around 2000 hits, i am in a process of deciding a seperate webserver.
Debate is going on to choose Apache or Weblogic's webserver itself -- keeping in mind that we have a weblogic appln server running to support an intranet based application.
Does any one knows/experienced such a situation, if so could you please share some info regarding the comparitivie study of Apache and weblogic's webserver.
What could be best way to handle this, as the minimum consideration will be load,security,scalability, maintainablity, cost, etc.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the components in this would be stacked vertically. I considered using tables, but I'm not sure it can do that.

Hi.
If I understand it correctly, the user will either perform the Accept action, or the Reject action.
So why dont you use a radio button group, instead of checkboxes. the given error will not occur.
With checkboxes, you will have 4 altenatives, not two.
Another alternative is using two buttons, which is also used in the workflow scenario. But this option depends on how you have planned your event handling.

Need Help: Workflow Decision Task not visible in NWBC for customer Task

I am new to NWBC configuration , need ur expert knowledge for the below issue. I have checked the treat . Approve/Reject button for SRM Approval for RFx response ,but not able to get the exact steps for the configurations in NWBC.
Requirement.
     We are working on SLM/SRM module, where we have requirement to create a custom workflow with custom Task for which we have executed below actions.
Created the Custom Workflow.
Created the custom Task with custom ZCLASS and ZEVET.
Created   Event linkages in SWE2.
After doing this we are getting the workitem in the NWBC, currently we don’t have the Portal system in place, so we are using the NWBC for all our testing.
What is the issue?
     When we select the workitem in the NWBC (UML) inbox , the Decision Task ie “Approve” or “Reject” button are not visible , where as for SAP standard Task buttons are visible.
What help we need?
When we cross check the SCN/IBM portal, found that we need to do the XML file configurations. Can you any one kindly let us know the steps we need to follow to achieve our functionality.

You need to share the details of what Inbox you are using, configuration steps depend on it. If you aren't using portal, you aren't using UWL and there is no UML inbox. You need to get your facts straight. Most likely you are using the Business Workflow Inbox (SWF_WORKPLACE) or the Lean Inbox (IBO_WDA_INBOX). Both are based on Web Dynpro ABAP and POWL but the configuration is different. Regardless, you posted this in the wrong space. Correct space is either SAP NetWeaver Business Client or Web Dynpro ABAP.

Help! Recurrent "activation required" message after upgrade to iOS 8.1

Hello,
I recently upgraded to iOS 8 (directly from iOS 7 to version 8.1). Ever since, my phone keeps giving me a message saying "Activation Required" (see images). I am able to activate my phone normally, if I'm logged in to iCloud I have to enter my e-mail and password every time (so I logged off from iCloud for now).
The problem is:
- This happens at least 10 times a day, even more.
- The phone can only be activated on wifi (3G and LTE never work, although the phone gives me the option to try these)
- When the activation is required and if I don't have wifi to do it, the phone is completely blocked - I can't get out of the activation page, no way to see my home screen or access any of the apps, not even the camera, nothing!
I've taken it to Apple store and first they told me to delete everything and start as a new phone. It didn't work. Then I went again and they did a "full delete" (a different way of resetting my phone as a new phone) and installed iOS 8.1 from one of their computers, which they said was different from doing it from my computer. The guy was sure he had solved my problem, but I got the activation message a few hours later.
Now Apple tells me it's a problem with my carrier. My carrier, of course, says this is a problem with the phone.
I don't know what to do! The phone is less than 1 year old and I had no plans to buy a new one in the next year or so...
Does anyone has the same messages?
Does anyone has an idea why my phone is asking for activation so often??

I'm still having the same problem. I've been going to the Apple Store every week. I was able to talk to someone in my carrier store (Fido Canada) and the guy was really nice, he really tried everything, changed settings of the network, changed the IMEI number in their system (my iPhone has been replaced and their system still showed the old IMEI number). I went back a couple hours later and he had really done a lot of research and talked to people. The phone was ok for a couple of hours, but then asked for activation again.
I went to the Apple Store genius bar last week (4th or 5th time), I was ready to get a new phone but the guy told me he had found the issue. My phone was not registered with the carrier, where it should say "Fido Canada", it was empty. He was able to change that (network "elevation" or "escalation" or something like that), he checked again and it had been changed to Fido. The phone was working great for 4 or 5 hours this time, but then the activation screen came back. :-(
I don't know what to do anymore. I'm SURE it's not a problem with my phone, but it's a configuration issue, either with the carrier network or the software, but no one seems to know what to do!
Going back to the Apple Store this wednesday, hope someone will be able to figure this out!

First you need to load the xml file that contains the list of
user names and passwords into variables using actionscript.
Use this tutorial.

Then compare the value entered by the user with the list of
usernames and passwords.
But be aware:
1>All the processing happens on the client machine
2>Extremely insecure if you are after a secure login.
3>and when you update the XML file it won't necessarily
take effect immediately on all the user's machines as they may be
using a cached version of it.
Ideal method is to use server side validation script using
asp, asp.net, jsp or php.

**Need help with decision...

With all the quirks of Lion, I have not yet downloaded it on my MacBook Pro.
I did upgrade to iOS5 my iPad 2 and iPhone 4.
I want to use iCloud. I know to get iCloud on my MacBook, I have to download Lion first.
Can I use ICloud on my iPad 2 and iPhone WITHOUT downloading it to my MacBook?

I too am a Dell laptop convert for over a year. I used Dell laptops for 6 years. I actually had very good experiences with my Dells and only made the decision to switch to a Mac PowerBook based on very close criteria. I also have an IBM ThinkPad which I think is a better machine than Dell. I didn't know how much easier it was going to be to operate and use a Mac. I do alot of Internet work, e-mail, convert VHS to DVD, work with and manage a Microsoft network with PC's, echange documents with PC's, etc. All of this is so much easier on a Mac. I have to manage the ThinkPad everyday with virus software, antispyware, and so on. Also, the operating system requires much more savvy to keep going when problems arise. The Media Center is Microsoft's version of software such as iPhoto, iMovie, etc. that comes with a PowerBook. I advise you to visit the Appple web site and thouroughly review the descriptions of the software and compare it to the descriptions of the MS software. From your message, it seems like the media center is very important to you. The Mac will out shine others in this area. But the biggest advantage I found is the ease of use in everyday tasks.

Help with "Admin user requires valid username and password" on fms2_console.swf page

Just installed FMS2 on Debian (etch, 2.16.5-1 kernel). When I
connect to localhost:1111/fms2_console.swf and get the infamous XML
output which includes the text, "Admin user requires valid username
and password." The *.xml and *.ini files haven't been touched after
installation. All four daemons (fmsedge, fmsmaster, fmscore,
fmsadmin) are running and listening on the correct ports.
Any tips? (I'm sure this is easy to solve...)

The value for SERVER.ADMIN_PASSWORD needs to be the encrypted string for your password. That should solve your problem.

Decision making Queries in the project

Hi Guys
Here im facing a problem whether to go which way and please suggest me the best option including performance Tunning as well
I have 3 data sources- 2Lis_04_Matnr, 2Lis_04_ARBPL and 2Lis_04_COMP. and all the Data sources does not contain 20 fileds(Approx). I mean as per the business requirement . and all the data sources and populating to same target (Cube).
Process 1. can i create a view for the fields of each extractor and finally populate all the 3 views into the target cube
( because all the 20 fileds of each extarctor are not coming from same table ).
Process 2. can i create generic extractor individually for each data source ( for 20 missing fields) and finally populate the 3 generic extractors into target cube .
Please suggest me the best process

Hi Keshav,
Since you are populating the data to one target in BI, you can just enhance one extractor from the mntioned ones and finally update the data to the cube in BI.
You don't have to update all the 3 extarctors.

Decision making on using proxy communication

Hi gurus,
We need to decide, if we should use proxy communication(sap>PI>Legacy) in realtime scenarios over file based communication(sap>file adapter>PI>file adapterLegacy) & also in comparison with RFC/IDOC adapters.
Infact, most of the times it is situational, but, we need responses from all of you in general terms.
Please respond with your suggestions/links supporting your views.

You should use the proxy over file based communication because proxy communication is faster and easy for error handling.
RFC & IDOC have their own importance. For exaple if you have standard RFC & IDOCs then there is no meaning to got for custom developement.. and again if your requirement says to do some custom developement then you have to do that.. so everyting depends on your requirement.
