Help please. with a.) flash and b.) what is it doing?
i have posted and reposted flash player. it is listed as installed in my programs, but when i get online and go to material that needs to use flash to play it says it is not installed, frequently a page for a 'biz coaching' will appear wanting me to download a player from them (very annoying). i have run scans for viruses and for malware and all have been clean. wtf? (don't judge, could be freak, or frack, or frick or frock or ....).

I meant ..i have 10 differentes Jframes (10 different clases)
SO i have 10 differents windows...Then with a combobox ill choose what Jframe will appear.When a window appears i put ,for instance,parameters for calculating a circle area .Then i select rectangle in the combobox list and appear in the principal window its parameters to write in. Then i choose another element in that combobox and i put parameters for a square.Each one is a different window.I dont want to use Jdialog for that.
The problem is that i want to use a variable defined in one frame to use that value in another class....for example i want to use a variable like this

So i cant find any solution.I have a structure for each window with labels and textfields (to put parameters).And i need to save each variable that people type in those textfields in public variables because i need to operate with data in a different class (for example in a main class).But that data is only saved into the particular classes because variables exist in there.

Help please with Palm Address and Memo Files
Hello.. I am new to this board, but perhaps someone can help me.
I have a PalmOne Zire 31 and have used it for years. Primarily I used the Desktop verision on my laptop. Well, my laptop died and was recently replaced. Fortunately, as it was on it's last leg, I backed up the files onto a safe location. And through the process, the handheld lost power do the data that was once there is gone.
WHen I got the new laptop, I reinstalled the Software, and it opened OK. However, when I moved the address info into the folder, the desktop won't open and I am getting an error message saying that it couldn't open the address info.
Any idea as to how to either get this data in, or how to convert the data to a txt or some type of file that I can read so that I can capture some important information?

BobUnbelievable .... after several hours of re-capturing to 2nd drive, my 1st drive sprung into life AND my 2nd drive failed in the same way, (repetitive clicking and not seen on the desktop.) WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!!!!!?????? I've swapped drives, cables, f/w ports and both discs behave badly when disconnected from my MBP so can't imagine both problems having same cause. Utterly baffled except that it happened after a long hard edit session with drives powered up for 24 hours or so.
Anyway thanks for the suggestion I'll do some experiments for next time, shouldn't be long with Lacie drives. What you're suggesting then is that even though the media IS offline I need to TELL FCP its gone. What's the difference between deleting a clip from the browser and telling FCP to make it off-line. When I had the problem I already had a red stripe so I don't know whether the make offline thing would already be greyed out. -
Need help please with Adobe Flash
Hi out there. I'm not even sure if I'm in the right pilace! First time I've tried this. Anyway, all of a sudden when I opened the Kodak Gallery from an email someone sent me to see some photos, it would not open and the pop up said I needed to install Adobe Flash 10.1. As far as I can tell I did. It is appearing in my downloads, BUT oddly, there is nothing at the end of that line item syaing how much space it is taking, like all of the other programs have. So perhaps it did not download even though it shows up as program? When I try to open anything in an in mail where the attachment needs Flash, it won't open and it keeps saying I need to download Flash 10.1, but I guess it is not downloading right. My system is Visat 32 bit and I have not this problem with Flash until now, although I don't know that I've used it in ther last few weeks. Anyone have any ideas? Has something changed in the last few weeks? Thanks.
Shockwave Player - this is a very confusing concept! Some websites claim that they require Flash Player, when in fact they require Shockwave Player. When you install Flash Player, the browsers will identify it as "Shockwave Flash". Both players originate from Macromedia, which has been acquired by Adobe a few years ago; this is why they are somehow related.
For the average user as you and me, I just recommend that you have the latest of both players installed, and all should work ok. The latest Shockwave Player version is 11.5 b.t.w.

External monitor with external mouse and keyboard. what am I doing wrong?
I got a iBook G3 with 600 MHz , 640 RAM, running 10.4.10. I bought a external keyboard, mouse and got a free ViewSonic Monitor from school so I hoped that I would be able to use all of these while the lid of my computer was closed. I close it, wait a few seconds, press random keys on my external keyboard to wake it up and it at first appears that it works but then it just goes back to sleep after about 1 min at the most. If you could help me I'd appreciate it. THANKS!!!!
You aren't doing anything wrong; the iBook is supposed to sleep whenever you close it. It's designed to work that way, ostensibly so that it won't overheat.

Others have addressed the problem by simply darkening the display with the F1 key and leaving the iBook open an inch or so. -

Help please with 2006 Macbook 13inch, for tv hook up.
Help please with 2006 Macbook 13inch, to hook up to tv for streaming. The display works through VGA but the audio isn't working. Got a plug that goes into headphone jack on computer and connects into the audio jack on the back of tv but no sound. I'm not quite sure what the issue is, whether its the wrong plug, the tv, or the computer. Best Buy says this is the right plug and it seems that it would be, but who knows. If anyone has any experience in this, I would appreciate the help!
Make sure those audio plugs are matched with the VGA plug. With your MacBook running something with audio switch between your sources on the TV Component, Composite and such. See if the sound is coming from another source. If so then you've got your audio plugs in the wrong jacks.
Also could you post the make and model number of your TV. -

I am trying to save a photoshop CS6 psd file to jpg and get an option jpg, jpg2000 or jpg stereo, I choose jpg and then Mac 256 colours, normal or interlaced. I just want regular jpg with a high resolution. What am I doing wrong? , never had this problem before. Help!!!
Your description of the issue is not clear:
What format, bit depth and color was your original file "from the net"? It sounds like it was a Color Indexed GIF, which would cause what you are describing.
In the Macintosh Finder, select said "net image" and do a Get Info on it (Command+i). When the Info box appears in the Finder, take a screen shot and upload it here by using the little camera icon in the Reply Editor in the forum's web interface.
If the image is a 256-color GIF, remember the rule: GIGO = garbage in, garbage out. -
I have downloaded and installed Adobe Flash Player, but it was installed to a "disk image". I don't know what that is, but I cannot view anything that requires flash player. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help, but that didn't do any good either. I have been double clicking from the download files, double clicking on the "install adobe flash player", closing the anti virus, closing Safari, watching the install progress and clicking finish. It indicates that "flash player" is installed, but every time I try to view something requiring flash player, it tells me I must download it. It shows up in the "system preference" and from there I can make some changes, but it still won't let me view anything requiring "flash player". It does not show up in my apps like Adobe Reader does. It shows up in the "downloaded files" section of "Finder". I'm getting really perplexed over my inability to get this right.

CC is for retail use with 20 GB of storage space, CCT is where number of seats are purchased & assigned by one program admin where each seat gets 100GB of storage space.
You can not have both the CC & team in one account as it will only provide you added storage space of 120 GB but you can activate the CC any of them or either of them twice as CC is based on Adobe ID.

Hello! I'm using Aperture with Efex plugins and notice, what when I saving result in plugin and go back to aperture, preview mode is going to grey color and not working until I reboot Aperture. What is intresting - in full screen mode everything works fine. Did you saw this problem?

How exactly are you doing this?
When I cut out a part of an audio region, then drag the remaining parts together, so they are touching, the track will skip the cut out section when playing the file. Also, if I select the remaining parts of the region and use the command "Edit > join regions". This will create a new audio file with the cut out part deleted.
