Help required in SAPscript - new to sapscript

Dear all,
I have copied WESCHEINVERS3 from NACE and renamed it as ZWESCHEINVERS3. I have made modifications in the form and the program SAPMO7DR and renamed it has ZSAPMO7DR.Now, from where i will run the debug mode to see whatz happening inside the program.
Help pls...

Hi Sinthu,
You can debug program in Two ways.
First way , you must be aware of to put Break-POint in the Driver program if made by you .
Second if you want to debug the script ,
then GOto Se71 --> Specify ur layout name --> In utilities --> Activate debugger.
So when ever you try to preview your layout , it will stop at the script layout level and the debugger will be on , This debugger is bit different then the standard debugging editor.
You cann't use double click , you have to copy and paste your fields in order to see your values that to with in &vbak-vbeln&.
Rest you can explore, if get's struck just let us know.

Urgent help required: Query regarding LC Variables

Hi All
Sometime earlier I was working on a performance issue raised by a customer. It was shell script that was taking almost 8-9 hrs to complete. During my research I came across a fact that there were some variables which were not set, the LC variables were impacting the sort funnel operations because of which the script was taking a long time to execute.
I asked them to export the following commands, after which the program went on smoothly and finished in a couple of mins:
export LC_COLLATE=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LC_MESSAGES=C
export LC_MONETARY=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LC_MONETARY=en_US.ISO8859-1
export HZ=100
export LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
Later I did recover that setting the LC_COLLATE to C, is not helping and the program was again taking a lot of time. Few questions that I want to ask are:
1. Can someone please tell me, what each of these variable mean and how these values make a difference.
2. When I exported LC_COLLATE=en_US.ISO8859-1, it worked fine, but when i tried with the defalut value LC_COLLATE=C, then why the program didnt work.
As this issue is still going on, hence I would request All to provide their valuable inputs and let me know as much as possible.

A new development in this regard. The customer has send us a screen shot in which they were trying to export the locale variable using the commands which I have pasted above. I can see in the screen shot that while exporting LC_COLLATE and LC_TYPE, they get a message that ""ksh: export: couldn't set locale correctly"".
Request everyone to please give their inputs as it's a bit urgent.

LC_CTYPE
Controls the behavior of character handling functions.
LC_TIME
Specifies date and time formats, including month names, days of the week, and common full and abbreviated representations.
LC_MONETARY
Specifies monetary formats, including the currency symbol for the locale, thousands separator, sign position, the number of fractional digits, and so forth.
LC_NUMERIC
Specifies the decimal delimiter (or radix character), the thousands separator, and the grouping.
LC_COLLATE
Specifies a collation order and regular expression definition for the locale.
LC_MESSAGES
Specifies the language in which the localized messages are written, and affirmative and negative responses of the locale (yes and no strings and expressions).
You can use command
# locale -k LC_CTYPE
to see more detail about each type.

Opening Help Topic in a New Window

I'm posting this inquiry after searching the forum for the above topic. I have a client who requires that a contextual help page be opened in a new browser window when users press F1 in a web application screen. The client does not want help opened in a new tab or in the same window as the web application screen.
The web application for which I'm writing help supports only Internet Explorer, versions 7 through 9 (no other browsers). The client programs in .NET and, for security, handles HTML help pages like .aspx.
I have RoboHelp HTML 9 installed. Contextual help mapping is done with an external XML schema that pairs web application screens with target help topics via F1.
In practice, despite the new-window requirement, testers have found that CSH opens differently with different combinations of browsers and operating systems. With Windows XP - IE 7 & 8 and Windows 7 - IE9, when the user presses F1, the help screen is opened in a new tab. In Windows 7 - IE8 (32 and 64 bit), it opens in a new window. This last is the way the client expects it to work.
Here's my question: With RoboHelp HTML 9, can I control whether help opens in a new window, the same window or a new tab? Or do I need to rely on a developer to configure the web application server so that help opens in a new window as expected?
So far, after a search of user documentation for RoboHelp and my help mapping configuration files, I haven't found a way in RoboHelp or Help Mappings to control whether contextual help opens in a new window or a new tab. I would appreciate any information on whether this attribute can be controlled through a server configuration, or .NET, or some other aspect of the system beyond RH. Or am I overlooking something in RH?

I'm not sure here but I would say that there is no way you can make that happen from RoboHelp. I believe it will always open in the way you describe, according to the user's browser settings and operating system.
If there is a way to do it, my gut feel is that is something that your developers will have to implement.
As a software user, I think it would irritate me to find new browser instances opening but you have to go with what your client wants.

Hi,
I am using Weblogic 6. I have created a new Web
Application called Web (I have not used the DefaultWebApp_myserver).
And I have the following settings:
Name : Web
URI : Web
and Path : C:\Web
and placed my JSP files under c:\Web\
I am able to access the first page, but after that I am not able to access the
second page.
I get "Error 404--Not Found" on the browser. Basically the class file is not getting
created under /Web-inf/_tmp_war_myserver_myserver_Web/jsp_servlet/ folder .
I tried a work around for this. I copied all my files under one more folder called
web and placed this under C:\Web
The it works. Now I have 2 copied off all the files, 1 copy under c:\web and another
copy under c:\web\web\.
If I have the files under DefaultWebApp_myserver and have the setting as
Name: DefaultWebApp_myserver
URI: DefaultWebApp_myserver
Path: .\config\mydomain\applications
everything works fine.
Can any one please let me know if there is any configuration which has to be done
so that I do not duplicate the code in 2 directories

Hi,

Pricing Error (help required)

Is there any routine which includes the tax value in R100 as well ,currently the problem is that the 100% Discount condition is only including the net price
And in the pricing procedure i m using two prices one price of tax calculation and the other is consumer price first i calculate the tax from base price then i deduct the tax from the consumer price this calculation is working fine through standard routines.
Only problem is that when i enter NRAB and R100 at end it only includes Net Value which is calculated through Formual using condition type NTPS

I m not getting the exact picture of what U desired, from your pricing procedure.
As you r using multiple free goods condition type...anyway.
If you wanted to make the calculated tax "amount + "as a basis for the calculation of particular condition type.you can use the functionality of subtotal.
That mean go and assign one subtotal no. to subtotal column in your pricing procedur to all condition type to which you wanted to make as a basis for furthur calculation.(this settings allow the total of all values in one subtotal).
And finally U can assign this subtotal no.to the "alt.cal.B.value "of pricing procedure for the calculation of particular condition type.
If you r using any std condion type that come up with certain routine like NRAB or somthing...possibly that will not allow u to do this settings. so in this case clear your free goods requirement or use any new condition type. i.e . Z creation.

I have seen one post that suggests the the Connection Doctor (VIdeo Menu) says in the capabilities tab that the AIR will not do Multiway Video or Audio chats.
I am not sure how true this is as iChat 4 and 5 can.
Much earlier Mac computers such as G4 signle Processors do have this issue. I would not have expected it with an Intel Processor.
File Transfers can be dependent on the Port used being open in your router (As can Video and Audio chats)
Screen Sharing requires that you use UPnP to open ports in the router (As well as turning it On in the vidoe Menu).
If you could be more precise I could match my answers to your questions.

the basis guy should be able to help.
at a higher level: you need to set authorizations to the roles assigned, the transaction code is pfcg.
you may create a new role with the required authorization and assign to the relevant users.

Hi archana,
U can Create a role through Transaction PFCG.
Just create a role and assign the tcode PPOCA_CRM if u want to give the user just only this authorization otherwise u can select the menu list from sap menu and assign this role to that user.
Another way is if that user already exist in that system then just assign that particular transaction codr with that user.

It was working fine - I was using LR and a message came on the screen that said something like the memory was dangerously low. I stopped and tried to delete LR files. I couldn't do it. I closed the program and tried reopening and got the message that there is not enough memory available to open LR. I contacted Apple. They spent a half hour on the phone with me and eventually told me they didn't know how to help. This sort of error message only comes up for Lightroom when your hard disk is full. Indeed this has nothing to do with internal memory as that will be intelligently be dealt with. If you have a mac Book Air that is not so surprising as the cheapest versions come with very small hard disks and if you shoot raw with any recent camera, you'll fill up your hard disk very quickly and you can probably only store a few months of pictures if you are a typical photographer. So the bottom line is that you need to create some room on your hard disk. You should move some of your originals to an external hard disk. You can also delete some of your backup copies of your catalog file that Lightroom automatically generates every few days and that quickly gobble up hard disk space. So first figure out how full your hard disk is. To see that, go to the apple menu, hit -> About this Mac -> More info->Storage. You should see your internal hard disk on top and you'll find that it is almost entirely full with photos. Now find your Lightroom catalog file using Finder. It is usually in a folder in the Pictures folder in your home directory. You should see a Lightroom 5 Catalog.lrcat file, a previews file and a folder called backups. Inside the backups folder, you'll find a lot of subfolders. They have names that show the dates the backups were created. If you have backups of your entire hard disk, you can delete these backups when they are older than a few months. I usually only keep the last 4 around. Just drag the folders into the trash can on the dock on the bottom of your screen and empty the trash. This will probably free up enough space that Lightroom will already run again. Now start thinking about where you will want to store older images. If you have a good USB3 or Thunderbolt hard disk that is probably the best option. If you follow that, as soon as you confirm all your images are on the new hard disk, you can delete them from your internal one. She is not so clear about that part but if you don't delete the originals that you moved off you don't free up space. You should move the folder structure over to the new hard disk and then reconnect the folders in Lightroom. That should make it refind all your images.
That said, if you are uncomfortable with the computer in itself, your best bet is to find a local photography club. There is invariably a Lightroom savvy person in there that could help you move your files. That might be your best bet if you are uncomfortable moving these yourself. A general mac savvy person like you would find at an Apple store or so generally will not be able to help you with this except when they are photographers themselves and know Lightroom. You might get lucky with that.

Help required - Sales order item is partially delivered but the item grayed

I have a sales order 123 having say item10 with qty 1, item20 with qty 10 , item 30 qty 12
Item 1 confirmed qty 1 and delivered qty is 1
Item 2 confirmed qty 10 and delivered qty 10
Item 3 confirmed qty 1 and delivered qty is 1
Now the item3 still has open requirements of 11 to be delivered. But the item is GRAYED OUT already.
even if I do ATP the qty is not confirming for the remaining 11 pieces.
Why is that? How to make that item out from GRAY.
How to confirm the remaining 11 qty for that item.
Help required as early as possible.

     ---check order type, item category and schedule line category.
     ---check unrestricted stock availability.
