Help!! Unnatural display growth...

Everything on my MacBook Pro screen has suddenly tripled in size. Menus, Safari, the dock, everything. All text is pixillated, nothing fits on the page. I went to "displays" in system prefs but that didn't help. Anyone?

I tried the ctrl-fingers trick. It made everything on screen larger, but it won't make it smaller. The wallpaper is the only thing that seems correct size, everything else is too wide, icons, menus etc. Thanks for trying! if you have other ideas...

Help with displaying image received from socket on Canvas

Dear programmers
I know that I'm pestering you lot for a lot of help but I just got one tiny problem which I just can't get over.
I'm developing a remote desktop application which uses an applet as it's client and I need help in displaying the image.
When a connection is made to the server, it continuously takes screenshots, converts them to jpg and then send them to the client applet via socket communication. I've got the the server doing this in a for(;;) loop and I've tested the communication and all seems to be working fine. However the applet is causing some issues such as displaying "loading applet" until I stop the server and then the 1st screenshot is displayed. Is there a way to modify the following code so that it displays the current image onto a canvas while the next image is being downloaded and then replace the original image with the one which has just been downloaded. All this needs to be done with as little flicker as possible.

Search for user role but help poppup display

Anyone ever trying to search for user role from search action bar or user admin page?
Whenever select role and clicked on the magnifying glass icon, help content displays instead of role selection.
At first I think this is a bug. But when I asked Customer Care they said its an expected behaviour which means that this is how the engineers designed it.
Dont you feel weird? because other field like status, correctly displays status info after clicking the icon.

If your just opening the html file from a link within your site, then you could code the link to open in a new window at full size. This is not done through RH, but instead on the site where its linking to your webhelp index.html page. Its relatively simple, and you can customise things like viewable buttons, scroll bars etc etc.

Managing the Help Screen display location and TOC frame width

Is there any way I can set how the Help is displayed when it first opens? I want to force it that the TOC frame is a certain width so the text is displayed properly always in the same way.

Can you help me on what methods of FMs to use?
I need to have a report that will be displayed on screen, can be e-mailed, and can be printed.
It has a header and a footer.
The header has a logo on the left side and has header texts that are positioned in the left, right, and center.
The vendor will be displayed in the header.
There will be more than one vendor that will be entered in the selection-screen.
Now the requirement also asks me to have page-breaks in every vendor. Meaning, for every vendor, there will be also a header and a footer.
What will I do to achieve this display???

Regarding page-break for every vendor, what you can use is:
AT NEW..
For this what you can do is that in your internal table also take a field for vendor and populate it with values.
Sort the internal table by Vendor.
Now while displaying the report output, you can use..
Loop at itab.
AT NEW VENDOR.
NEW-PAGE.
ENDAT.
write: / 10 itab-vendor,
Endloop.
This will trigger a new page every time a new vendor data starts.
Since a new page will be triggered so, your Top-of-Page and End-Of-Page events will also be triggered.

I need to develop a component which will accept a KM folder name as an input field from UI (for eg : \documents\folder1) and will display all the subfolders and files inside that KM folder along with its details. Help with display quality (LCD TV)

I've hooked up my Mac mini to my Samsung 32" LCD TV via HDMI cable.
The overall quality is just far from desireable and is taking away all of the fun from using this new mac.
I set the resolution output to 720p, which is what the TV supports. So that's good.
I played slightly with the Contrast and Brightness on the TV settings.
But I must be missing something. Although the image is sharp, it's very difficult to read from 6ft away, pictures look terrible (seeing the same picture on a different computer and monitor is so much more revealing), and the display is bad for everything basically.
Please help with any settings suggestions or perhaps a detailed guideline for my setup.
I started to configure a color profile on the display settings but the results weren't that great and I reverted to default. Too many subtle changes. My colorblindness probably doesn't help.

It's the latest Mac Mini with 2.5ghz i5, AMD Radeon HD 6630M, and 8GB RAM.
I am familiar with the "Just Scan" setting under picture size on the Samsung TV.
I'll look for the digital noise reduction.
Are there complete guides with recommended settings for different setups? Or maybe even general, that would help me here?

Messed up again! Help to display current day and date ...

Sorry guys and gals, I messed up again due to my noobidity, but you know the two most abundant things in the universe, are hydrogen ..... and noobidity!.
I have this page http://www.poffertjes.ch/index.html that nicely states the current day and date and it also works on all subsequent pages.
I needed a new page and figured I could just copy the code to the same position on this page: http://ppbm5.com/submission.html but behold, it just is not displayed at all.
I have been going over the code many times, but I can't figure out why the current date is not displayed at all. Can someone please show me what I did wrong?

Need help to display geo-characteristics on a map in SAP BW report

Hello all,
Currently I am struggling to display plants on a map of Germany in a SAP BW report, using dynamic geo-characteristics in SAP BW. We do not have the ESRI software ArcView (my superior does not want to buy it), so I have to be successful without it.
The actual situation now is as follows: For the map of Germany I use shape g_stat00.shp. In g_stat00.dbf in column SAPBWKEY there are the values DE/01, DE/02 DE/16. SAP-help tells me that 0POSTCD_GIS is used as attribute for the dynamic geo-characteristic plant. In the master data table of 0POSTCD_GIS the following data is present: ZIP-code, geographical longitude and latitude. To correctly display the map of Germany in a SAP BW report I include the characteristic 0COUNTRY in the rows of my query. Well, I see this map in my report.
But the following problems remain and I have no clue how to proceed:
- I do not see the individual states of Germany on the map, just the federal republic in total. What must I do to see the individual states?
- How can the plants of our company be displayed on the map? As soon as I include 0PLANT together with 0COUNTRY in my query I do not see the map any more!
SAP helpt tells me in the context of interactions with maps that the following preliminaries must be fulfilled: In the HTML code of the web template the following lines of code must be adapted to individual system requirements:
Example:
<param name=IMAGEMAP_PATTERN value=FILTER_VAL>
<param name=INFLUENCED_DP_1 value=Revenue Cockpit>.
What do these parameters mean??? What values are required here?

Please help website display problems

Hi, Just purchased my mrs a curve 8520 with/thro Virgin.
Email, facebook/wifi all working but when browsing certain sites I have issues with display.
For instance I use the browser and select sites from bookmarks (sites I have added) and these load fine, when I click link on sites it works but the display will sometimes go black or displays incorrectly (can only see left side and unable to scroll to right etc). I refresh and it will get onto page but again it will go black and not display (sometimes I get security message to say not trusted certificate and I click on continue). To me (not too experienced with blackberry's though) it seems like a display issue with the blackberry.
Is the display issue due to the sites?
Can the blackberry only display certain sites due to site resolution?
Is the black screen due to a memory issue (i.e.. Need more memory to display correctly)?
Should I not use the blackberry browser and use the firefox or IE browser (have tried these too though and not worked but maybe I need to alter settings)?
Or do I need to do something to the blackberry settings?
I have tried a number of approaches to ensure ALL sites work correctly (mrs needs to use for work and needs to be able to access certain sites which Is why I got this phone). I would really appreciate some advice from an experienced Blackberry user,

If Adobe has released Reader for BB, you would find it at Adobe. But, honestly, I do not think that they have...they have for the PlayBook, but not for BB SmartPhones.
