Help With CFAJAX Suggest

hey All. I could use a hand here. I am not too good with
Javascript..just enough to get by.
I am trying to implement the SUGGEST feature of CFAJAX. I
used the example found here:

Basically I am trying to load a list of street names.
However, when I load the page, I get the following error in the
firefox js console:

So what isn't working, specifically? What are you getting back at the client end? Also, you might want to post the <cfform> code block so we can see if anything is wrong with the bind(s).
Lastly, you should consider not using <cfform> and <cfinput>, for a number of practical reasons. Here are some ideas for suitable alternatives: https://github.com/cfjedimaster/ColdFusion-UI-the-Right-Way.

Hardware or software to help with tremor-- suggestions needed

Hello, my dad is trying to use an intel imac, and he's having a lot of trouble, partly due to a tremor that makes it difficult to manipulate the mouse and keyboard. Does anyone know of any solutions to such a problem? I would think there might be a mouse or trackball and a keyboard that are designed to help, or perhaps a software solution for a shaky mouse, but I thought I'd throw the question out there to see what can be found.
Like it or not, many of us will be facing this problem eventually, and I'm learning that the mac requires more dexterity than the average 85-year-old has.

There occurred to me that I should have mentioned that I am assuming that you are using the trackpad and keyboard of the Mac Book which I can understand your Dad really disliking. My suggestion is that you blow a few bucks and get the extra keyboard and trackball as a present for your dad and plug it into the Mac Book USB port. You might also find it handy to hook up a monitor (20" or so). It will be so much easier to read the larger screen. You might also be aware that with mouse, keyboard and display hooked up you can close the lid on the Mac Book and the display will look a bit better not having to share the video processor with the Mac Book display.
The other thing I would mention is that it might be wise to download one of the programs that make an audible click through the speaker with each keyclick, mouse click and scroll wheel turn. I use a little Preference Pane called "Keyclick" which gives you many options on how you want it to sound (I make my keyboard sound like an old fashioned typewriter - which is a sound your Dad would be quite familiar with!) With this installed, your Dad will have much more feedback and it will make typing and mousing much easier for him.

Help with case suggestion

I need the searching power of the Apple Community, for my efforts have produced few results!
I was a blackberry user (the 8310 Curve) and I really liked the case I had. Leather case, magnetic strap, swivel clip and I was able to pull the phone out whenever I needed to.
I am trying to find something similar if not exactly like this for the iphone. Slim is nice, but I really want that swivel clip so that I can angle the case and pull out the phone whenever i need too. (I see some cases have a strap overtop)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

However, I couldn't decide between two different ones so I also went with one of these as well and i'll chop & change as & when I feel like a change. I also like the blackberry cases, however, i've found that the belt clip doesn't last all that long. One has broken on me and the second one is on it's way out now. The first option from vaja sounds more like what you are looking for though. Hope this helps.

I google search the phone you have, its NOT an Apple phone but a Windows Phone. It cannot be used by itunes at all.

You can use Windows Media Player or other third-party software to upload stuff to your phone but you can't use itunes. sorry.

Help with... Aggregate Rollup too slow!!!

Hi, I installed the BW Admin Cockpit and I am having problems with an Aggregate Rollup on InfoCube 0TCT_C22 DTP Statistics. The Initial Fill was 1.5million records and I have yet to get the Aggregate to Fill after 13+hours. Any ideas why this would take sooo long? Would deleteing the agg indexes help with this or do I even have to consider this?

Thanks for the quick response.   There seem to be no logs since nothing has completed and I have ended the long running jobs. I will take your point and Compress the InfoCube.   Could you help with your suggestions a little more?
1. Build Aggregate in Parallel.
    There is only one large initial request so I don't think this is possible?
2. SIDS in Parallel
    How do you specify this for an aggregate using RSBATCH?
3. What might be a valid range of Block Size to start with that might work? 1, 100, 10000, 1000000?

They did change it to Outlook recently, but while not pretty, I can access mine with Safari 4.0 still...
You can also set it up in Mail so you don't need a browser at all if you want.

I use free Yahoo mail webMail access because folders I created in webmail access doesn't get set up in Apple Mail. While I was searching for post about password and keychain issues, I stumbled on several threads that complain about Mail folder issues, so I'm holding off on Apple Mail.
On the password and keychain issue that your post is all about. I've been using login keychain to save and automatical fill my login screens for a year or so successfully, with Safari and Chrome. Automatic form fill also works for Facebook login. Unfortunately, about 4 to 6 months ago, automatic password form fill stopped working with Yahoo webmail, while still worked for GMail (Safari and Chrome). I tried deleting the password entry for my two Yahoo email accounts to start fresh, but neither Safari not Chrome will even ask me if I want to save the password. I was so frustrated that I eventually installed the keypassX 0.43 (password manager) that is quite primitive sompare to OS X's keychain (when it works). Probably no surprise to you yet.
The surprise, to me at least, is that, for whatever reason, password auto form-fill from keychain started working again for Yahoo webmail login on Safari about 5-7 days ago. Still doesn't work on Chrome!
Two tips I can share, at least with webmail access:
1. Password is save only for one of my yahoo mail accounts. When I login in with my other yahoo account, I get no prompt to save the password, and form fill doesn't work when I try to log in a second time with my other Yahoo mail account.
2. On inspection of my login keychain, I see a webform password item saved for my Yahoo account that works with keychain. The name of the password is: login.yahoo.com(MyAccountName1#). When I open the password item and look in the Access Control tab, I see Safari and Chome are listed as allowed to access this password item..
I also an "Internet password" item with a name of just login.yahoo.com. When I open the the password item, it looks just like the password item created for MyAccountName#1, but the MyAccountName#2 is listed in the Account field. Inside the Access Control tab, no apps are listed in access permission. I added Safari and Chrome to the lists of allowed app, saved the password item.
Now when I bring up the Yahoo login page(by bookmark) on Safari, form fill fills in MyAccountname#1 for name and the proper password and I can login in. When I change the name to MyAccountName#2, the correct password is retrieved and I can log in! Alas, it still doesn't work on Chrome.
BTW, I changed the password item type from "Internet password" to "Web Form password" and saw no difference! I also edited the name to be "login.yahoo.com (MyAccountName#2)" to look like the web form password item that works, but it has no effect either.
From my experimentation, here's my observation:
1. A Web Form password item is created for the first account name(MyAccountName#1) for login.yahoo.com and typed as Web Form password. When I log in using MyAccountName#2, an Internet Password is created, but no applications are listed as allowed to access the password item, even when the password item was created after just logged in and logged out to yahoo with the account name and password for MyAccountName#2.
2. Manually adding Safari as an app that is allowed to use the password item works. Doesn't work with Chrome!
The version of Safari I'm using is Version 5.1.7 (6534.57.2). My installed version of Chrome is Version 21.0.1180.79 beta.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords, especially your Apple ID/iCloud password NOW!
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, & Find My Phone turned on/activated, then phone cannot be re-activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored.

Help with sequence settings in final cut for project with 2 different frame rates.

I really need help with this one! I finished editing a wedding video and realized after exporting that it was filmed in two different frame rates. This has happened before but I converted the footage to match and fixed the problem. In this case, the footage is part 30fps and part 60fps. The majority of it was filmed in 30fps. I cannot convert the 60 to 30 without the slow motion effect which I do not need so I have to find a way to burn this to a DVD without it looking messed up! The video was shot with two Canon 7ds if that helps anything. The first sequence I set at 29.97 and exported as a quicktime movie and all the footage filmed in 60 looked perfect and the footage in 30 looked jittery. Then I tried the sequence at 59.97 and it switched. The footage filmed at 30 looked good and the 60 was cropped in. I am so confused! Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for your help Michael! The frame rates are 29.97 1920 x 1080 and 59.94 1280 x 720. I did a control click on the clips in final cut and viewed the item properties/format to find this info. The Canon 7d is a DSLR but we use it for video. As for my workflow, the first thing I do is import the footage onto my computer and then drag the clips into mpeg streamclip. I choose apple prores 422 and uncheck the interlaced box. Once this is done I import the .mov files into final cut. The sequence automatically sets itself to whatever clip I drag in first so it originally set as 29.97. When I finished editing wedding video, I export it to a quicktime movie and choose whatever settings match the sequence, in this case apple prores 422 1920 x 1080 30p. Once that is done I use iDVD to burn the discs.
I knew something was wrong when I watched the quicktime movie and all the 30fps footage was jittery and most of the cross dissolves looked strange. That's when I figured out the footage was at two different frame rates. What I don't understand is why whatever the sequence is set at in final cut, the clips of the opposite frame rate look right but the clips set at the matching frame rate don't???

Help with opening Adobe Reader and downloading updates

I can not open Adobe .pdf files any longer (this started yesterday, prior to that I could open adobe files).
When I double click a .pdf file I get this notice on my screen: Windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access file.
So I went to the Adobe download site to download a new copy of Adobe. When I start the download I get this on the screen: The instruction at "0x0e3a0068" referenced memory at "0x0e3a0068." The memory could not be written. Then two options are listed: click OK to terminate or cancel to debug. So I click on cancel and I get this on my screen: Internet Explorer has closed this webpage to help protect your computer. A malfunctioning or malicious addon has caused I.E. to close this webpage.
I don't have AVG running, I do have avast but I've disabled it. I ran Registry Mechanic and an I.E. erasure program but nothing helps.
I have gone into I.E. and reduced the security level to its lowest state but no joy.
So, any ideas or suggestions on what's the problem and how to overcome it would be appreciated. Thanks, in advance, for your reply. Jim R.

Hi Mike..tried that as well but no joy. A friend of mine was looking at it all and noticed that it was an I.E. thing as far as not letting me redownload the reader so I went to Mozilla Firefox and I could download a new version but....whenever I attempt to open a .pdf file I get that message, "Windows can not open the specified device, path or file. You man not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
Damn...this is irritating as I need to get to some of thos files as I need them for a Journal I'm working on as editor-in-chief.
It all worked just fine last Saturday but starting Monday when I was on my flight out to D.C. no joy.
