Help with emails showing in reverse order

I have a friend who just got their Curve 83XX from Verizon. They are telling me that their emails are showing in reverse order. They have to scroll down to see the newest emails. I have the 8310 and have not been able to locate any options to prevent or correct this. Has anyone run across this before and if so, how can this be corrected? Thanks!

The NEWEST JUST RECEIVED emails go to the bottom of the message folder, and the older ones are at the top?
OR, does the user open their message folder each time and it defaults to the bottom of their message list, and they must scroll UP to the top?
The latter is most likely. Tell them -- while IN the message folder to press the T key to go immediately to the top of the list, press B to go immediately to the bottom of the list.
When they exit the Message folder, make sure they are / have scrolled to the top of the list, and the next time they open the messages folder it will open to the point in which it was closed.

Well, me and my three days of Flash Builder are lost in the woods. I have no idea how to do what you suggest. The code Google's showing me seems to call for scrapping my working functional program and starting from scratch. For a message box.
Can I add a message box to my existing code?

Slides show suddenly reversed order

Slides show suddenly reversed order. I must have hit some key that reversed my order of slides from the first slide switching to the last and so forth. can someone tell me what's going on. thanks. idvd 5... will idvd 6 fix this?

click the first image in the filmstrip on top
Command click each image after that until you get to the last image.
Now drag that first image to the end of the film strip and the other images will follow. Once you drop it in the end, your images should be in the right order....hopefully.

Please help with email and synching

Hoping someone could help with my email!! I have my show filed messages to off. So, when I go in the hub and click my one email account, it shows all my filed emails, such as a folder named old mail. Now, I can fix this by clicking on the dropdown and click inbox, then it shows just my inbox and no filed messages. But if I get a text or FB and enter that in the hub, then click back in the email account it then shows all my filed messages. I just want to see my inbox and that is it! Why is this not working right? I'm on 10.1 and using Microsoft Exchange. I have my old mail being synced, but I don't want to see my old mail. It's literally thousands of emails. If I unsych old mail then it is fine...but if I want to file something to the old mail file, then the whole thing sychs again and shows all my filed messages.
I don't know why this is becoming so difficult, but I just can't continue with my email folder showing all of these folders I don't want to see. The email is hard enough without seeing a line of the body of the email and only the subject....this is making it even more crazy for me. I really want to stick it out....but not sure if I can...and I want to. Is this a bug or just the new way BB handles email. Assuming its a bug being I have filed messages not to be seen.

Can anyone help with email in my old G4 17" ??

My G4 17", bought December 2004, is considered an antique by Apple, and no longer supported. (I now mostly use my early 2011 MacBookPro.)
But the big screen on by G4 is very useful for Sibelius 4, the music program I mostly use (Sibelius 7 in the MacBookPro - but much too fussy for me.)
Sibelius 4 in the G4 continues to work flawlessly.
But my email account recently sort of died. It's POP account (whatever that means). I can no longer receive messages, BUT I can still create and
send new messages, and of course forward any saved message to myself in the MacBookPro.
ALSO: if I have to shut down the G4, it usually reopens with a horizontally divided display, and it usually takes many restarts before it will open
will a full screen display (seems to reopen correctly more often if left in a cool place overnight.)
Can anyone help with one or both these issues? I want to keep the G4 going as long as I can. BTW, I don't use it for browsing anyone, Safari installed,
because it is now so slow. The MacBookPro handles all that for me.

Well that is interesting. Amoung other things safe boot does:
-- check and fixes up your file system. The files system allows you to keep files on your harddrive.
-- Does all video rendering in software.
You could have a one time glitch or harddrive is slowly failing. If you never replaced the harddrive, it is time for a new one.
You may want to consider getting a new harddrive. The easiest way is to get an external drive. No disassembly of the machine is required.
You need an external Firewire drive to boot a PowerPC Mac computer [ a few G5's will boot from USB ].
I recommend you do a google search on any external harddrive you are looking at.
I bought a low cost external drive enclosure. When I started having trouble with it, I did a google search and found a lot of complaints about the drive enclosure. I ended up buying a new drive enclosure. On my second go around, I decided to buy a drive enclosure with a good history of working with Macs. The chip set seems to be the key ingredient. The Oxford line of chips seems to be good. I got the Oxford 911.

Help with email alignment

Hi Guys, looking for some help with center alignment of an email.
Its center aligning fine in dreamweaver preview and in the preview of mail chimp, but when I sent it to Gmail it's aligned to the left.
Any ideas why this is?

New user needs help with Email account questions

Good day - I have been a 10-year user of Blackberrys (Curve, Bold, and earlier models). Just received a new Q10 for work. Enterprise Outlook synched up and I am getting all emails, calendar, and contact information as in the past. All good with this. Here are my questions I cannot find answers to anywhere:
1) How can I insert a "signature" with emails I compose from Q10?
2) How can I delete all emails on Q10, rather than one at a time?
3) How do I set the Q10 to only delete from phone and not network. In other words I only want to delete emails from the Q10 device and not my PC.

Go to Hub settings, then display and actions and drag down, you'll see the option 'delete'.

Help with email

Since owning an iPhone, I've never been able to send any email when I am connected to a wi-fi signal. It sends fine when I'm on 3G. Otherwise it says, "Cannot Send Mail. The connection to the outgoing server 'smtp-server.cfl.rr.com' failed". Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB):
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your carrier for formal support.

Help with email script

I am trying to create a script that will automatically send an email with information contained in a text file and the name of the text file changes daily based on the date. Currently the script is just sending the attachment and I couldn't figure out how

Need help with Email on Curve

Hey there,
I received this Blackberry Curve 8300 series phone basically as a "hand me down" from family. I like the phone, but cannot figure out how to set it up to receive my email.
I've tried going through setup wizard, but get stuck on the "I want to use a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server". It asks if the administrator provided me with an Enterprise Activation password.
Here's the problem: The person who gave me this phone is "technologically challenged", and if she ever did have a password given to her, she doesn't know what it is. Do I have any way to figure out the password, reset the password, etc.? How do I go about getting the Enterprise Activation password, and who has that information?
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.

Need help with gallery showing .jpg AND .swf

Hi all,
I have an image gallery that loads images and swf-files from an XML-file. The .jpg's load and display just fine, but the .swf files won't show. The data is loaded though. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry, you're right! Didn't intend to be lazy...
This line loads the image in the loader 'slideLoader'. This seems to work fine with image files (.jpg), but .swf files are ignored. Is it possible to load both .jpg AND .swf files in a loader, or do I have to use some other method for this?

I purchased the bundle of photoshop and premier elements 10. I was trying to create a slide show and was informed that photoshop elements 10 does not come with a slide show for APPLE. now I hae been told I can creat a slide show in premier. can anyone tell me how and where do I go to create it in preimer.
Also I had purchased the professional version of Photoshop but when I purchased elements 10 on line and downloaded it my professional photoshop was replaced with the elements 10 vesion of photoshop. Is there anyway I can recover my professional version.
I was thinking of buying elements 11 but beging to fell what is the use if I can not get element 10 to work for me.

I'm confused by what you mean when you write "scene setting or standard timeline setting". In version 11, I use "Expert" as my standad timeline setting. The other is "Quick" and I have never used it.
The time for each pic starts with a default setting that can be changed. Then each slide can be streched or shrunk with mouse control.

I need some basic help with Email setup

Hello, I ve just been connected to infinity and I m trying to setup a few email addresses but the BT yahoo system is confusing me.
I managed to create a new email (sub account) for my wife but I m struggling with finding a way to have a couple more for myself. Do I really need to make a sub account for each email?
The default email has my name and surname in it which is not something I generally use for that purpose, I would only use that one for close friends and family, I would like to setup another one for general use and one for when there is a likelyhood it ll get a lot of spam.
The way to add extra emails is usually very simple (with previous isps) , login to "manage my account" and choose username and password then enter the details in outlook express.
With BT I m having to deal with the Yahoo thingy, which does a lot of more than just emails but at this time I have interest in it at all.
1 - I would simply like to setup a few emails to use with outlook express, what is the best way to achieve that ?
2 - The yahoo email seems to be part of a network like facebook, as I don t intend to use that side of it I would prefer not to have my personal details associated with a profile that I do not need . It seems to be for public viewing by default.
Can I set up and use my emails without having an online profile for yahoo?
How do i keep my details offline (not publicly viewable in yahoo)?

yes!
you get one prime email address. the one you agreed to and the one to set up your bt mail, it was in letter confirming bt set up. (order ref)
for more for yourself, or anybody else, its got to be sub. up to ten for INF2
I have set up 4 sub accounts with different names, etc. but use the same password for all 5 .
I then had them set up with outlook express, there is a bt prog to do this. look on site.
Then I use incredimail as my final mail client, this also has a prog to set up from outlook express.
so all my mail to and from me ends up in incredimail with my 4 sub accounts, using one as my prime.
my bt prime I do not use, as it is my full name.
so far so good, just a bit slow finding its way, like you my previous ISP (tesco) was less complicated, but slow copper wire.

Help with BT6500 showing "no number"

I purchased a pair of BT6500 about 4 months ago and it has been brilliant for screening out nuisance calls, witheld calls and international calls etc but for the last 2 days whenever anyone rings the screen says "no number" instead of showing who's calling. I definitly have caller ID on my phone and it has always worked fine. This has got so annoying and I have answered a couple of numbers which I know should be blocked but they are now getting through. Nothing has changed on the settings, no one has been messing around with the phones, I am now finding this increasinly frustrating. Can anyone shed any light on this please. I would be really greatful. Thanks

Have you had a look at the user guide for that model of handset? My advice would be to check it out and you can also contact product support if the problem persists. Their number is on there too.

Help with contract or call off orders.

Hi,
At current we are very light users of SAP on the purchasing side. We use purchase requisitions with a bespoke workflow which are then transferred into purchase orders and emailed out.
We are looking at implementing contract or call off orders for services we purchase, eg support that gets invoiced once a month. We can then enter the invoice against one of these orders.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of what the best solution to use would be and how to go about setting them up.

Hi,
You can use a framework order to execute that process, as long as you know how you want to spend in a financial year and there will be no need to created goods receipt , framework orders only work with Framework Order and Invoices for payment.
