Help with Firefox seperating spacing in words!?

Firefox has spaced letters and words extremely far apart, and to the point where I cannot read it anymore.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but this did not work.
Take a look at what I mean:
Google's "I'm feeling lucky" has a bunch of spaces between the I and the rest of the letters.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

I received your document via our File Conversion Issue form. The root of the problem you're facing is the quality of the scan. I'm not sure if you were starting with a poor quality hard-copy or simply low DPI settings on your scanner, but the reason the results you received were so different than the PDF was the quality of the input.
If you're hard copy looks clearer than the PDF file you created, I would suggest increasing the resolution settings on your scanner.

Hi,
You can use the Random class to generate Random number between 0 to the array length and use the generated random number as index in to the Strign array.
To generate Random number use the following code
Random r = new Random();
num = ((r.nextInt() >>> 1) % wordList.length);
num will have the randomly generated number.

Need help with Firefox display issue on one page of site

I have a page that W3C validates, displays properly in IE and Netscape, but does not display properly in Firefox. The issue is with a style class applied to the inner centered table. class= "vert_table" This class works on all of the other pages in the site, but not in this one.

The vertical rule does not display, and further down the page a dark left-right border appears starting with this text.

I have been looking through this code for two days, searching for any offending omission in code or redundancy that would break the page. I've searched for missing div tags but none are apparent to me. I'm hoping someone with fresh eyes can spot it right away.
It's odd that the page validates but Firefox cannot display it properly.

Hi Jim, thanks for the reply. Your suggestions sound interesting but I'd like to figure out why this particular page doesn't work when all of the others do. I'm sure it's just a little code thing that I'm overlooking.
I could revert back to a saved page, but I updated text and images on this page before the verticle border broke, so I don't want to lose those edits. And that is why I'd like to fix this one instead of redesigning the page.
BTW, I forgot to mention in my first post, GoLive CS, W2K.

Need some help with Firefox and userChrome.css

As you can see there is some space underneath the tabs. I used the addon 'Classic theme restorer' to hide the adressbar, but unfortnanly it left some space underneath the tabs. I've been trying to fix it with userChrome.css myself, but I really dont know what am I'm doing.
Does anyone know how to remove it?

Need Help with Arabic Font from Microsoft word to Adobe Illustrator

hello after i spoke with a adobe professional at the mac store, I was told that in my Mac computer in systems preferences, click on international and then click tab on Input Menu and select the arabic input source. Once I did that i thought it would work but then realize i saw another issue.
It look totally different. Please any suggestions?

Without a different version of AI (AIME from Winsoft) your are not going to be able to handle a Right to Left language such as Arabic in regular AI. Your best bet is to make a PDF from Word and place it as an image in AI.

Help with Firefox variable

I purchased a script for my website and it works well in IE but not in Firefox. As for the problem, in Firefox all displays properly but when the a track is selected it should autoplay in the player but it doesn't. IE has no problems.
Below is the selected code I feel to be the culprit. I believe I need a var isFF but after searching most of the day I have become frustrated.
Could someone please offer me some help?

This would probably be best posted in the Dreamweaver forum. In any case, you should be able to add that in there. Try something like.

Need help with FireFox Adobe player

On FireFox, I can't get a player window to appear. on
Internet Explorer, the window appears, and plays perfectly, but not
on FireFox. I'm using Ripway.com to host music files, and I put a
link to the MP3 on a profile page on GaiaOnline... it loads a
Windows Media Player onto the page itself to play on Internet
Explorer, but the window remains white on FireFox... could someone
help me?
I believe I just need a program that will change the way

Need help with Firefox constantly crashing. Here is one of my crash reports 9df1066e-d25d-44fa-b05f-7d22e2110713. They all have this signature "_de_casteljau."

Firefox constantly crashing no matter what site I go to. Here are my crash reports - you can see the times and dates are pretty frequent.
Only 1 module doesn't have a version number, but doing google search there are ton of results for this file.
Google searched, checked for updates for firefox, add-ons, java, and flash..i've added these add-ons AdBlock, IE Tab, Webmail, and a theme(LavaFox V1 1.3.3).
Ran virus scans and nothing.

The crashes seem to be related to garbage collection (i.e. cleanup 'unused' memory, but in this case the memory may still be in use) and such crashes are hard to diagnose.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br /><br />

Need help with a java loop and word program

do you know any way to get a Scanner object to select a random string in a text file?
ok pretty much I have a text file that isa list of 5 letter words. I need to select one at random.
the only way I could think was to scan the file, get the entire nu of words, have Math.random choose a random nu then loop scanner.next() and have the loop condition run the Math.random amount of times
but... when I do that I CANT ACCESS THE WORD OUTSIDE THE STUPID LOOP grrr...
i'm annoyed lol
this is the loop code that selects the random word

while (random >= chooseLoopCount)

see it's assigned properly to be the output of the scanner in all lower case letters, but outside the loop, the variable doesn't even exist

Help with email pages document in word through 'share'?

When I type a document in Pages and then try to email it to someone who uses Word through Share the "send by mail > word" link won't work - send mail > pages and send mail > pdf are fine - any suggestions? This did work fine until today.

Often, this behavior is linked to wrongly formed filenames.
It would have been done for years (in fact since the delivery of mac OS X 10.1) but, at last, thanks to Lion, iWork refuse filenames embedding illegal characters like colon or slash.

Need help with either printing or automating word

I am attempting to write a simple application to print out formatted business checks to a printer. in vb.net in 2013 Visual Studio. Problem is I need to be able to change font type in the middle of the page, and it appears that font type is applied to
the whole document that is printed, is there a work around. Last line of a check needs to be in MIC font while the rest of the check is in a standard font. I have the MIc font but no way to make a change for only the last line of the check. there are
3 checks per sheet of paper so need to change fonts multiple times.
