Help with SD card prob

When I download song or other things to my droid x it says error SD card not mounted. But yet I can view all pics,vids and apps.

This is certainly an odd problem. May I ask is your pictures and videos saved on your memory card? I would recommend doing a battery pull, remove the memory card, reinsert the memory card, & reapply the battery. Once you have done that, power the device on & verify that the device is reading the card by following these next set of steps.
Menu > Settings > SD card & phone storage
Verify that the card settings says Unmount SD card. This will confirm that the device is reading the memory card. If you are still unable to download media & save to your memory card, then fell free to reply to this post with your findings or send me a private message for additional assistance.

Need help with graphics card options for an early 2008 mac pro

Hello,
   I have an early 2008 mac pro with 2 x 3.2 GHz quad core Intel Xeon and 6Gigs of ram, currently running with an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT with 512mb.
    It is also running 10.7.2.
   I would like to either add a video card on top of the one I am currently running or replace it completely if necessary.
   I do video editing on the Mac, no gaming and only a small amount of photoshop, and as the resolutions get larger I would like to have my machine keep up.
   My questions are,
     1. What cards would you the community suggest?
     2. Can I add a whole other card to my system or do I have to replace the current one?
     3. If I can hold two cards what special accomidations would be needed in regards to final cut performance if any?

The two main cards for mac pros are the apple versions of the ATI Radeon 5770 and 5870.
The 5770 requires one aux power adaptor and the 5870 requires two. So generally you could only have one 5780 or two 5770's.
Video cards which don't require aux power should be able to coexist with these cards so log as it's all within the power supply maximums of course.

Please Help with group chat probs

I don't get any sound or vibe notification for my group chats also In my group chats if a pic is posted and then comments made on that pic I can't scroll up or down to see all comments. This is something I need to fix as we use pic with chats at work. I can't get the info I need. If any one could help with this problem please do. This problem has only been since I upgraded to the newest bbm messenger last week. I have the Q10. I pulled the battery and sims card but this did nothing to fix the problem. Please if anyone can help!

Please make sure you are using TRUCN() in your GROUP BY expression. This function will truncate the date by removing time content.

Help with start up probs after force quit

Hi there . I think I'm royally fckd. I was on blogger and my screen froze no cursor move nothing had to force quit. Now every time I try to turn on the MacBook Air all I get is a black screen and that start up noise over over over again . still black screen and no log in page . Is there a way to fix this or is it royally gone to mac heaven.help with thanks .

your force quit wouldn't cause an inability to powerup. Black screen on every powerup?
SSD or logic board fault likely.
Contact Apple for diagnostic/ repair.
Anything in your Air can be fixed yes.

Help with Graphics card purchase

I'm planning on buying a new graphics card for my creaky old Mac (G4 400 MHz PowerPC, CRT display, running Tiger). Mainly because I do a lot of 3D modelling/rendering work and I think it would improve the experience I have with the apps that I use daily. Apart from not being up to spec for modern games graphics my Mac works pretty darn well (probably because I have a shed-load of RAM), so I'm not planning on getting a new Mac any time soon. I just want to cheaply soup-up this one.
I'm looking at getting either the 'ATI Radeon 9600 Pro - Mac', or possibly the cheaper 'ATI Radeon 9200 Mac Edition'.
After looking online I have seen that users of both have reported some problems. The 9600 has been reported not to work with some displays and the 9200 has been reported to make DVD act really badly.
So my questions are roughly:
Have these issues been resolved? Have you experienced any problems upgrading your old Mac with these cards? Would these cards make a marked difference to my 3D modelling/rendering apps? What graphics card would you recommend?

Does your Mac use a AGP (Advanced Graphics Processor) slot?
Based on the 400MHz you mentioned, is is probably a "Gigabit Ethernet" model, which has a 2X AGP slot.
If not, your only option is the ATI Radeon 9200 128 MB PCI Mac Edition card. I hadn't heard about any DVD playback problems with this card. ATI says it will not work with OS 9 in G4 "Digital Audio" and "Gigabit Ethernet" models.
If you do have AGP you definitely want to use it. The ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition 256MB AGP works with 2X or 4X AGP models. This card will give the best performance.
The ATI Radeon 9600 Mac & PC Edition 256MB is for 4X or 8X AGP slots. Even if you do have a 4X AGP slot, this card may not work in your system because of its power consumption. ATI says it is not compatible with "Digital Audio" and "Quicksilver" models. That leaves the MDD (Mirrored Drive Door) as the only G4 model with 4X AGP that it will work in reliably.

It's a really good machine, but unfortunately I am having problems making it work with Ubuntu 11.04. I am a long-term Linux user, a python developer and a supporter of open source software, I cannot use Windows for my purposes and I need help to enable my vide card drivers.
I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 on my system, and updated all packages. I then installed the ltest Nvidia drivers available, and ensured that Optimus is disabled in the BIOS. After rebooting, nvidia-settings complained that my system isn't configured to rnu the drivers and I must run nvidia-xconfig so I did.
After running nvidia-xconfig, my system wouldn't want to run Xorg, and stayed in terminal mode. I checked the xorg log and found this:
(!!) More than one possible primary device found
(II) Primary Device is:
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
I saw something about this error here : ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/270.41.03/README/README.txt
I am running version 1.7 ov xorg, so this should be fixed. I tried to nvidia-xconfig --enable-all-gpus but it still wouldn't work.
The Ubuntu market is now at about 15 million Desktop users, and many more with other Linux distributions, I think Lenovo would greatly benefit by contributing to Ubuntu and helping the software be compatible with the hardware they sell.
Could someone please help me with this?

This will not help, but I recently tried 11.04 on a
Z560 (with just intel graphics) and had no luck
getting it to work. Previous versions work fine.
Is there any other linux distro that will serve your purpose?

Help With Credit Cards In Incoming Payments

SAP Business One 8.81 PL05
When I am creating an Incoming payment and I have selected my invoices and then select the payment means and put in my bank transfer amount. I then go to the credit card tab and put through a claim there which goes to a claims GL account. I put in the Credit Card No. 1 and in Valid Until I put 12/12 I fill in the rest of the fields and when I try and add the Incoming payment I get the following error.
Date deviates from permissible range [Journal Entry - Rows - Value Date][line: 3] [Message 173-11]
If I take out the Credit Card part of the payment the Incoming Payment can be added therefor the problem must be with the Valid Until field. I have tried various different dates in there and still receive the same error.
Under my Credit Card Payment Method I have created on called Claims and set it to Voucher Date Of Receipt with the following fields. From 1 To 31 On Day 1 Months + 12
Could somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The posting date is current date and due date is current date as is document date.
All posting periods are unlocked.
If I take out the Credit Card part the Incoming Payment gets added without any errors. Therefor I think my posting periods are fine.

Help with Business Cards

By using one of the templates I have created my business card in ONE of the template slots. Now, how do I get my card to apply to the whole page? Note: I have gone to the site recommended in a previous post:

Sorry, but that makes no sense to me. When I click "select all" the entire sheet is selected, not just my card. I cannot find any way to select just my card to duplicate and drag. I can select portions of my card (text boxes, pictures, etc.) but have to drag them individually. How can I select just the one card in its entirety and duplicate it to the whole page.
Surely, there has to be an easy way. Heck, I'd take a hard way at this time. By the way, isn't there any way to use a blank template rather than trying to change everything around?

As a bit of background: I opened one of the business card templates, then made all of my changes to one card and saved it. That gave me the one card on the sheet that I created and nine cards that were created from the original template.
I was able to partially follow your instructions. I selected a single object, hit command+A, went to Arrange>Group and drug my card to one of the other positions. What I ended up with is my card superimposed on top of the card that was created in the template. If I tried to use the delete key, ALL cards were deleted, including the one I created. Also, my created card would not fit into the template slot. Lastly, how do you lock the cards?
I'm sorry to be so difficult, but this is becoming a very complex issue. Thank you for your help. I hope you have some other ideas that I can try.

Help with acs cards

is it possible for us to link java to visual basic.net? we purchased acs sdk from hong kong. we already programmed the cards using visual basic.net, the problem is we need to get some of the data in the cards using java because our main application is java. we have a password in the smart card, and that password is needed in the java application to run our application.

You can use any layer that can allow you to access to your card data.
On Windows platform as well on Linux, you can access your card through pc/sc. It's quite straight forward to build a librairy based on that.
From java, there are few APIs that have been developped:
- JPCSC: analog to pcsc but which is a Java interface to pcsc on the system
- OCF: dead project
- Smart Card io API from Mustang release: same as JPCSC and quite low level as well
- Jaccal: is a interface with pcsc as well but allow you to be at higher level as well for you not to bother about any session opening or APDU building.
This is the advantage of Jaccal comparing to JPCSC and the Smart Card io API, Jaccal can sits actually on top of these two layers.

Help with Note cards?? I thought I could do them with this program...

Help! I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 back in September, but due to computer problems and working on other projects, I just got started using it. Or at least I'm trying to!
My main (read: pretty well ONLY) reason for purchasing was that I thought I could make note cards (photo on front, folded, like a blank card, but with one of my photos on the front) for personal use and Christmas gift for my aunt who writes a lot of notes. I really wanted to create a special gift for her, as well as unique cards for my own use.
But when I open the program and click "Create" all I see is Greeting Cards! And when I click on it, I don't see anything like what I want to create! Help! Is there any way to create this type of card with this program? Or at least close? I would really appreciate ANY and ALL help!!!

You can try going to finder, hitting CMD + F and below search this mac, you should see kind. You can try switching that contents and the second option to documents.

What you normally should do is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. If they refuse to help, as some retailers do, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. They will ask for a scan of the front and back sides of the card as well as a scan of the receipt

Need help with 'shuffling' cards

i'm working on a poker applet and i need some help. i would like to put cards which are numbered (1 - 53) in random order on the stack. what is the easiest idea for doing that?

The way I always see it done is first making a Card class, then a Deck class that creates the ordered deck in its constructor. Then make a shuffle() method that picks a random number from 1-53 on the first run and put that one on the stack, then shrink the deck by one, and continue with iterations until the entire deck is moved onto the stack.
Also, search the forum for similar topics, I think it has been covered a few times with more in depth examples than I'm giving.

Help With TI4400 Card Please!!!

Every time I try to select the MSI clock and the MSI info tab under the properties control panel in Windows XP I receive a Run DLL error saying their is a problem with file msicpl.dll. I have resetup my entire PC from fdisk to dowloading new drivers the first thing I loaded was the video card and still same error. The card works fine besides this one problem please help.

Please help. I am confused. I have the same specs as the original poster and am also looking to upgrade my system, but i'm confused. The video card you recommended appears to be 512MB, however, HP's specs for the motherboard state:
Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE
Up to 256MB (with 512MB or more system memory)
Also supports PCI Express x16 graphics cards*
So, if it says it supports up to 256MB, should i limit my search for a new video card to only ones that have 256MB, or will a 512MB one, like the one you recommened, also work?
