why is th uploading process not working? i am trying to convert a pdf into a word doc

Can Somebody help with uploading my iweb creation.
i have made a iweb site and upload it to my .mac.
later that day i deleted on my idisk the site manualy and i want to upload a news site but every time i tryed to upload the site iweb says that i need a .mac account. and that i have.
i have tryed with a other account (from a friend) and that worked. Strange but now it works. I tryed again with my account but still he ask that i need a .mac account.

Help with Upload file to Server Examples

I have been working with the examples for how to upload a file to the server. Though i got the example to work. there is one more thing i need to do. i need to allow the user to be able to select multiple files. In the example when you click on Upload, it opens a MS window to allow you to select a file. This example does not allow you to select more then one file though. I found another example for selecting multiple files but this one differs very much in that the person who make it "Ryan Favro" created a whole new GUI window to select multiple files. those his example works great, i dont want a special window to select files, i want the MS window to do it.
Is there a way to make the original example that uses the MS window to allow the user to select multiple files ?

Help with scheduling Process Flows in Workflow in 10gR2

Dear All
I am after some help with the scheduling of process flows (PF) in Workflow in OWB 10gR2. I am trying to set up some PF’s to handle the refresh of some staging tables from various source systems. I have created a separate Process Flow Module for each source systems, mainly just to keep them separate and organised. I have a number of mappings which all run fine if execute manually or linked directly to a schedule/job. The problem I am encountering is when I try to run process flows from schedules. I have created process flows ok and have run them manually and they complete fine so I know that the content of the PF is ok. After linking and deploying the jobs I can never get all the process flows to run from the various schedules. What appears to happen is that the first PF works ok and any other PF that are within the same Process Flow Module/packages also runs ok even if its running off as different schedules. However PF’s under the other Process Flow Module fail with the following error

If I then stop the schedule and either drop or replace this failed PF thus redeploying, the PF then runs fine manually and if the restart the schedule it runs ok the next evening. My problem is that this then appears to impact on the other PF’s which all though have not been touched and ran ok the previous evening they then fail the following evening with the same error

Novice , need help with upload error

My original hosting company went south and not all my files
were backed up..., but one application i'm having trouble with on
the new server and I can't identifing the cause of the error.. this

first thing that comes to mind: custom tag not
installed/mapped to.
make sure the custom tag cf_FileUpload is installed on your
new host or
that the new host has set up cutom tag mapping to the folder
in your
site where this custom tag is located.

Help with batch processing

Hi, I am having trouble with batch processing. I want to apply adaptive noise reduction (ANR) to several files from the same source tapes. So, following the help instructions, I create a script from one file. When I try to apply it to the other files, instead of applying ANR to them, it simply saves them as is. The steps I perform are as follows:
I select the entire wave (I have also tried it without first selecting)
I open the scripts box in the file menu
I click on open/new script collection and create a new script
I title the new script
I click 'record'
I close the scripts box
I run ANR on the file
I go back to the scripts box and click 'stop current script'
I click add to collection
I close the scripts box
I open the batch processing box
I select the files, then the script, then I click to start processing
When I try to apply this to script to other files, it saves them but doesn't apply ANR.
Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong? Also, in the scripts box, there are three options for the type of script that I can create. One is highlighted: 'Scripts start from scratch.' Is that the correct one to use? If not, how do I select one of the others? I click on them but nothing happens. Finally, when creating a script, do I save the file before or after clicking 'stop record'? I have tried it both ways but don't know which is correct (neither seems to make a difference).

This is what my script looks like. Although I was worried about the strange characters in the script, it does work.
Make sure that the script you use is suitable for the sample rate and bit depth of the file. E.g. if you have 44100/32-bit files, then don't use a script that was recorded on a file with e.g. 48000/16-bit. If required, resample or make different scripts for different rates/depths.

Need help with uploading web gallery

How do I correct this?

Find the exported gallery on the hard drive, and open the index file in a web browser. If that works correctly, then yes, it's a problem that you'll need to discuss with your web host, rather than a Lightroom problem that we can help with, sorry.

Help with uploading an excel file to a table using an application

Hello,
Can anyone please help me out with this issue. I have apex application where in the end users upload an excel file to a table. For this I have followed the solution provided in this link

Using the above solution, I was able to upload the excel data to a table "sample_tbl1" successfully with fields Id,acct_no,owner_name,process_dt. But the thing is I want accomdate a particular condition while uploading the file data, to check see if the acct_no already exists in another table say "sample_tbl2" or not. If acct_nos already exists in sample_tbl2 then give out an error displaying the list of account numbers that already exists in the database. Below is the code which I am using to upload file data to a table.

From your code it appears that the account No comes in the second column of the file = > v_data_array(1)
So You can put a conditional block around the execute immediate code that inserts the records
For instance

Need help with batch processing picture packages

Hi, I am having trouble batch processing picture packages is CS2. (Windows).
I have hundreds of images that need to be processed into picture packages and would love to find a speedier way to do this.
I know how to create an action. I know how to batch process from this action. I also know how to create picture packages, but I cannot get the final result I am after - please read on....
I have seperated all the images into their seperate folders for each style of picture package required.
I can create an action for the picture package required and then do a batch process on the particular folder, but this leaves all the picture packages open on the desktop - as when you chose the close and save in the batch process - this only closes and saves the original image - the picture package has been created as a new document and is on the desktop still open - named Picture Package 1, Picture Package 2 - etc etc.
I hope I am making some kind of sense here... (??!!)
What I would like to happen is that the picture package will be saved over the original file (or to a new folder) with the original file name of the original image or maybe even with an adjustment to file name (e.g - orignal file name sc1234.jpeg - new file name sc1234packA.jpeg)
So is this possible to do?? I'm thinking there must be a way.... i'm sure there are many group photographers out there who come across this everyday??
Otherwise I have to save each picture package manually to original file name (via searching though files to match the original image to the picture package....) Very time consuming.

hmm - thanks for that - sounds like I will have to try and find some info and assistance regarding the scripting - it may be something I need to look into at a later time in the future....

Help with uploading quality of prints

Hello--- need help - I use photoshop elements 9 to edit my pictures and digital scrapbook pages--- it seems like when I submit them online to a website to have them printed- they are too bright ??? I am using an acer aspire notebook model 7551-7422 not sure ?? Any thoughts on why they are overexposed they appear to be fine on my screen. Thanks

Colour Management is a complex process, everyone's eyes will see an onscreen image differently. Realistically you need to use a hardware calibrator to properly calibrate your monitor. Many people will turn down brightness and increase contrast to avoid eye strain, but this then means that what you see is not what is really represented in the image.
Do your pictures look right if you print them on your own printer?
In Edit> Color Settings do you have it set to Optimize for Printing?

Need help with uploading photos from PSE 12 to Revel

When I first logged into Revel from my new Photoshop 12 I selected the option to have me select which photos would be uploaded to Revel. That turned out to be a huge mistake. All I want to do is upload my current catelogue with the albums intact to Revel for Cloud protection. I have been working for two days to work around this and have had numerous problems. I can't get my albums to get uploaded without creating a new album in revel and then downloading from there. However, it appears that some albums have been authotmatically uploaded and I have thousands of pictures scattered, since most of them were scanned at different times and then organized into albums over the course of the past year. Can anyone help me with this. I was told that buying Adobe Photoshop 12 should make it very easy to put my photos in a cloud with the albums intact. PLEASE help.

Are you just trying to set up all of your elements albums as mobile albums?

Help with frozen process, retry delay and transaction rolled back

Hi all,


Is there a way to create a JPD that will be able to retry a specific logic for several times with delay in between and freeze on the last retry. Also, at the same time, not rollback any database commits?


I have tried several ways to approach this but did not work.


1) create a JPD with transaction block with start node = "freeze on failure". Set retry count and delay in the transaction block. The outcome is, the JPD freezes, retries correctly, unfreezed properly, but all DB transactions are rolled back


2) create a JPD without transaction block, and set start node with "freeze on failure", group the nodes that I would like to perform retry and in the exception path add in the retry count. Use timer in the exception path to introduct the delay. The outcome of this is: JPD freezes, retries correctly, unfreezed INCORRECTLY (when trying to unfreeze this process, it will start at the ontimeout method of the timer and does not start from the beginning of the jpd), DB transactions are commited correctly


Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated...

The issue may be due to the transaction timeout, verify the configured timeouts and the processing time of the process B.
Try increasing Sync Max Time Out and the other timeouts accordingly and test it.
