The card must be issued in the same country as the store you are trying to use. If you're trying to sign up for the US Apple Store, it must be a US card with a US billing address. If you're trying to sign up in India, it must be an Indian card with an Indian billing address.
Apple will run a small charge, which will be credited back, to make sure the card is valid. If it is a debit card and you do not have enough in the account to cover the authorization, it will be declined.
It is possible the currency conversion you mentioned may be causing a problem. Contact the issuing bank if you are sure you have enough in the account and you are signing up for the correct store. -
Hello, i just downloaded the itunes 11.0 with the completely new widow format. Mow do I drag songs and playlists onto my ipod? I see where my ipod is on the upper right side of screen but it will not accept any drops. Please help. thanks
Not only this but I can't drag from Itunes and place anywhere on my desktop or onto an external drive. Apple, why are you screwing around with basic functions!? I'm a dj and I need to be able to manage my music files without you ruining my life! FIX THIS!

I was not given the option to purchase applecare + with iPhone 5.I tried calling Apple customer service, the automated process took my info but then came back and said too busy to help you now. How can I buy it now?
You should call Apple but you should get an email from Apple. I got one a few minutes ago and this is what they said about AppleCare+ :

Hi diesel vdub. Yes, thanks for the clarification re: app's - I was rather thinking that they are happily being shared on various iphones & pods in the household. But more importantly, why would I care to NOT have certain books automatically shared on my young adolescent daughters' devices? Because some of the books have grown-up content &/or titles that I'd rather they didn't yet set their eyes upon, that's why!
So I guess that leads to the question ... . Is it possible to pick and choose which ibooks are accessible to which devices? -

And offcourse that I delete my files and documents is not an Iweb problem, but because my English is not that good, that I thougt I try to tell the whole story, and hope people can read trough the lines.
Why I didn't use Iweb to upload to the server is because the server company recommanded to use file zilla. And I am a nobody with this kind of things, so I did exactly what they tell me to do.
No, i did not make a backup of Iweb and the domain file, but reading other messages on this forum showed me that I can maybe try to make empty the cashfile (?)
and otherwise I have bad luck and have to make my website again. Offcourse I have a lot of examples from all the pages (copied from the local map to my USB stick) and my website is aprox. 15 Mb, (not so big) so it will cost me a few nigths.
But I'm still hoping on a miracle :-)

Try connecting the iPod to its syncing computer and restoring the iPod.
If you can't restore, see if resetting the iPod will allow a restore:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that was unsuccessfulm see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow a restore. For recovery mode see:

I dont know how but the keybaord on my laptop, doesnt want to work. I am using a usb one to type this and its fine its just not very convinient. It was working perfectly fine this morning and this afternoon it just stopped. I havent spilt anything onto it so i dont understand whats happened. My trackpad does work but the mouse flitters over everything and when i want to click its like its permantly on the right click hwere the lise comes up with all the other information like copy, paste, close tab etc.
I need help fast as am a university student with a dissertation to write and a deadline on tuesday. Im not comfertable taking out the battery and anything like that. Also i dont understnad all the mbp stuff so just plain english if you can help would be very appriciated.You may have to take the computer to the Apple store to have the computer checked out.

Help please I have a Ipod touch, and when I plug in the head set only one side is playing
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

please help :-(That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.

Please note that the Contacts App (looks like a brown address book) is located inside the Utilties folder on your home screen. Press and hold the Utilities folder and it will jiggle. Then drag the Contacts App out onto the home screen for easier access. (see page 20 of the guide below).

I have an iPod touch 4g. It's white I just got it a week ago. It had iOS 5.0.1 for default. I could get music on my iPod with syncing it from my pc. i think i may be giving my client a lot of money back...

thanks.First off, yes you're pretty much out of luck. I listened to your sample, and there's probably nothing you could do to make this sound good. With enough filtering, you could make it so the voice is marginally intelligible, but it's never going to sound like a good recording.
