Hi, I am using Firefox 5. Suddenly I lost my bookmarks toolbar even though I have selected it to be visible in the view option. But I can still view the bookmarks toolbar in my all-in one side bar

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

Trying to download just ONE audiobook... it downloaded them all! even though I have "selected" and just the one checked -- help!

i downloaded the iTunes update to 11.1. Normally I just download one audio boo to my iPhone (5) at one time, this time, even though I had "selected audiobooks" checked and just the one audio book checked, it downloaded all of them. That's taking up almost a gig of space on my 16G phone. Before I realized it was trying to download every book, i deleted about 500 pictures (okay, I really needed to delete them anyway...) along with a bunch of apps I never use, to make room for what I thought was just the one new book I purchased.... is there a fix for this?

This could be done in many ways so it's quite hard to pin point what's going on and how it's done.
The first thing I would do is to reset the the router you have, creating a new password for loging on in case they have gained access this way, then create a new password for the wireless network if you are using it.
Then reinstall your computer, if they/you have installed some software and gotten a Trojan, the only way to get rid of it to 100% is to reinstall. There is no meaning in trying to find it and uninstalling it since it's gotten this far allready.
Depending on what router you have, you might be able to get the logs and see from where they are connecting and trying to pinpoint their location.
There are probably other ways to find out more, but if this happened to me, the first thing I would do is to get rid of the problem, ignoring who they are.

How can I uninstall all-in-one side bar and fully deactivate "LyricSing"?

The "all-in-one sidebar" function offers a redundant and confusing capability which consumes valuable display real estate on my old (and small) monitor. The result is that it makes several important sites essentially unusable. Please help me get rid of it on Firefox 31.0 or allow reversion to an older Firefox version which doesn't include it.
Similarly, "LyricSing" both consumes display real estate and acts as like a super pop-up generator. The "deactivate" path and the "current state" switch does not function on my XP based system.
I strongly dislike (I'm trying to be nice) IE and Chrome! Please help!

when i go to Music > Artist > All, as you suggested, i see all the albums i have listed. doesn't really relate to my problem with artists with songs in one album, as well as song w/o album set, and the latter not showing up.
but that reminds me, why is it when i go to the All section from a particular artist and they do have more than one album (or even no albums), the order of the songs is in the order they are in the albums.. if i wanted the order it is on albums, i would have selected that album for example.. it would be nice if the songs were in alphabetical order when you're NOT browsing by album, making a particular song easier to find (what if you have thirteen albums for example and u aren't sure which album a song is on, now you have to scroll through a seemingly random ordered list to find one song, alphabetical would be SOOOO helpful!)

Firefox keeps asking me what program to use to open file types even though I have selected one and checked "do this for all files of this type" going foward

I am working in Windows and every time I open an attachment, Firefox asks what program to use to open files of this type. I always select the proper program and then check the box that says use this program for all future files of this type. In spite of that, the program continues to ask for every file. How do I turn off this feature and just have the program remember the correct program to use for each type of file extension?

Regardless of your download preferences, web servers can trigger a download prompt by sending either the ''Content-Type: application/octet-stream'' or the ''Content-Disposition: attachment'' header. You can check if that's the case by examining the server response headers in the [https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Tools/Web_Console Web Console].
For the latter problem install the InlineDisposition add-on and see if it helps.

If you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found"
Verify that the printer:
Has power and is turned on. If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
Has the latest firmware version installed.
Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.

I have windows xp. I recently updated to 4.0 and would like to get rid of it. Never had this problem with 3.6.

When I start Firefox 6.0, it always looks for updates, even though I have this feature turned off in Options. How do I change this?

Firefox won't sync to my Android device, even though I have logged in (to the new Sync), and unlinked and relinked my phone and PC multiple times. Help?

Pretty much just what the question says. I got a new phone, logged into sync on Android, and my phone will not populate the information that it should from my sync account. I am running the new sync, am updated to the current version on both platforms, have all the appropriate boxes checked, and have tried logging out and then back in again, multiple times, in attempt to reset the sync to populate the information. Any help would be appreciated.

When you say 'Sync' do you mean to the cloud?
I suspect there is some issue were space used is being reported incorrectly.
My iPad mini only has a 97Mb file to sync to cloud (I don't try to sync much of it), I have 2.2 free space in the cloud, and it won't sync. I've also noticed that some games like Fieldrunners won't save games, nor will the Drawing Pad app save pics my kids create. All of these issues seem related to how the iPad views it's own use of space.
Getting close to wiping the thing and starting again. Even an OS upgrade to 8.1.1 hasn't helped.

Try feeding Safari a user-defined CSS file with font-smoothing tweaks (including none). The filename and its filesystem location are arbitrary. Use your favorite coding editor.
