Then you should talk to that person. Apple won't help you if the iOS was downloaded illegally, and since this is their community, due to Terms of Use, no one here will help you either.

I powered my iPad off and when I turned it back on it is telling me to reconfigure it. So I select English then United States then I selected my WiFi then message comes up that says your iPad could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting your iPad to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes. Have tried several times and it is still not working. Nothing will show on screen on icons nothing.
Try to Update your iPad to iOS 6.1.4 when connected to iTunes via USB too.. You do not need to touch anything on your iPad to update your iPad either..

First: I get the message telling me that "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later."
Second: In the Summary Tab under Backups, iTunes is telling me that my iPhone has never been backed up to my computer - which is not true. It's also telling me that my iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud. Again, not true. Although my backups are all missing from iTunes, I can see what I think is them in their folder: C:\Users\*your user name here*\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync.
Third: iTunes is SLOOOOOOOOW. It takes nearly ten minutes - sometimes more - to launch, and when it does, it's constantly not responding. It seems every time I touch something it stops responding.
Fourth: I've been searching this "help" forum for a solution, and I've seen many other references, yet the only suggestion I've seen from someone from Apple is a reference to a solution that is over 2 years old - and DOESN'T WORK for anyone I can see who's tried it!
I've tried everything I could think of, and that others have suggested, including:
Uninstalling and re-installing iTunes
Ensuring I have the latest version of iTunes
Re-setting sync history
Renaming my Backup folder at the path above, and letting iTunes create a new one
Running around the house whilst pulling my hair and yelling obscenities
None helped. At all.
Hmmm... Been a devoted Apple/iOS guy for years, but maybe it's time to switch to Android?I've resolved the issue with iTunes constantly not responding. It's a bit embarrassing. I had a DVD in the drive that was corrupt, and once I was able to remove it - BAM - iTunes ran perfectly.
I'm still getting the Sync Services message, and my backups are still not showing in iTunes.

My iPhone 3Gs went into Recovery Mode yesterday when I got home. When I plug it into my computer iTunes opens and gives me this message "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." I click the "Restore iPhone" button and wait while iTunes reinstalls the software on the iPhone. As soon as the install is done, I get the same message again "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." I'm stuck in a Recovery Mode loop. How do I get out?
This iPhone has never been jailbroken. After a litte research on line I saw some people got stuck in Recovery Mode after a jailbreak, but this is not the case here. Please help.Hi domaley,

hi everyone i have an iphone 3gs it was running on 4.0.1 and i updated to 6.0.1. then its said i needed to restore my phone to factory settings and i did but now it says; "your phone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it or try again in a couple of minutes"...if this problem persists contact apple support at apple.com/support.
I've tried all that i can and still no results. Could anyone shed some light on the subject if so it would be greatly appriciated!Ok thank you so much! Although I ended up taking the sim card out of my new Iphone and reinserting it into my old one it finally let me restore it! So thanks once again this really helped!

The iOS 7 beta has expired. Since you had it, you were obviously a developer.
You need to log on to the Developer Forum with your developer credentials, where you will find information on how to reactivate your phone.
Discussion of beta software is prohiibited on this general forum.

Buying a used iPhone from unofficial place.
1.) Your iPhone maybe locked to a certain carrier.
2.) The sim may not be compatible.
3.) Maybe it was jailbroken.
Find out from the seller the 3 points I've mentioned. -
My IOS is 4.2.2 and my ipod doesnt accept later versions. Before updating the software, I used to have viber and now I can reinstall it, because it needs IOS 4.3 or later. If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

I bought a used iPad, restored it and set it up as "new iPad" it worked perfectly, this morning when I turned on, it asked to be activated, I entered my iTon account and password several time correctly, i got massages hat "your iPad could not be activated because activation server is unavailable. Usually this is because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try again in 20 minutes or so.

I cannot access my old email address anymore, however I have used it for my apple ID and now I want to delete it because the account has never been verified in the first place so my password for it doesn't work. So when I want to download apps I have to sign in with apple id but I can't so I made a new one, However I can't seem to be able to delete the old one. What do I do?
You can't merge Apple IDs. You also can't cancel (delete) and existing ID, you can only choose to stop using it.
If your old ID was compromised and you can no longer access it, you'll have to contact Apple for assistance. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. There is no other way than to plug into a computer to restore the phone. You can use another computer to do so, but in case you did not back up to iCloud your data and settings will be gone.
