i have a requirement
i have a VO based on a QUERY and that's like
SELECT msi.segment1,msi.description*
FROM mtl_system_items_b msi, bom_bill_of_materials bbom*
WHERE msi.inventory_item_id = bbom.assembly_item_id*
and msi.organization_id = bbom.organization_id*
and msi.organization_id = :1*
and that organization_id has to be my ORGID
i have retrieved the org id using
Number OrgId = pageContext.getOrgId();
and now starts the problem i am not getting any idea how to pass this parameter i got that is OrgId
in to the VO above so that i could get the result i wanted
plzzzzzz can any body help me in this......

How to create a condition based on a select that retrieve dynamically a LOV

Hi all, I need to create a condition based on a select that retrieve dynamically a LOV.
So, the condition have to be:
inventory_item_id NOT IN (SELECT inventory_item_id FROM apps.mtl_system_items_kfv WHERE concatenated_segments = 'GENERAL_FAULTS_IPTV')
I need to create a LOV based on this select without making any join with the folder which contains the field inventory_item_id, because otherwise I have the contradiction:
and o124757.INVENTORY_ITEM_ID = o118741.INVENTORY_ITEM_ID -- join between the main custom folder (o118741) and the LOV custom folder (o124757)
and o118741.INVENTORY_ITEM_ID NOT IN (o124757.INVENTORY_ITEM_ID) -- condition
These two condition together don't show any data, obviously....This means also, that I can't use a calculated field, because if I want to see this field, I have to create a join, another time, with the main custom folder.
I tried to create a LOV on the Administrator, but when I create the condition I have to check manually the values....and if in the future this LOV will increase I need every time to re-check all the values.....instead I need that the inventory_item_id have to be NOT IN dinamically in the list of values retrieved by the select.
Anybody has inplemented something similar ??

You want to add this condition to the first query it holds good for this scenerio.All the items which are NOT IN will be retrieved.Here you are selecting other than "General_faults_iptv"
But again your trying to select in the second query where you want "General_faults_iptv"

If you carefully go through what your doing,you will understand.In the above explantion ,there will be no records generated.First query your saying NOT IN and again your saying for the same IN,how will records retrieve its meaningless.
I dont know what you want to get from second query.I would suggest you to do is dont use the second query and just use the first query and you will get.Here is the query and this will give you result.

I have not tried but check if you could get the rowcount which shows how many attachment are upload or not. Then by checking this throw exception if the rowcount is o.

Make fields un-editable based on condition in Relationship tab of ACCOUNTS

Iam working in CRM 5.0. Application: ZCRMMACCOUNT View: Z*ACC
I want to make the fields in the relationship tab of Accounts application to read only based on some condition (when the relationship is contact person).
I have tried all the ways:
1. In the READ method of Access Class, set the field property as 'A' in the et_field_attribute.
2. Use the method set_field_attr of class cl_bsp_bp_global_service.
But still the fields are in the editable mode. And here i cant use the Field Group Customization, because i want to make the fields read only based on some condition. I tried using field group variants, but while debugging, the method GET_FIELDGROUP_VARIANT is not called.
Can you please suggest me your ideas and how to work with this?

I am new to CRM, if i am wrong in explaing the things dont consider it.
We to had the almost the same requirement then we went to the field groups level and chekced the following field groups and changed them to display only feature by checking the box in the field groups....

Dist. of Header Condition based on the material Value

Hi All,
I have one query regarding the header Condition.i have selected the Calculation type as B - fixed amount (mandatory) for a particular Condition type and also selected the header and Item condition indicator.Now if the material have more than one line item then the system distributes this condition based on the quantities in PO.
My client requirement is that they want to have a header condition as we are using now. But they want to distribute this header condition according to the material values for each line items in a PO. please Mention that this condition is a fixed value (mandatory).
So, how can we make a Fixed Value (Calculation type) for a header condition to be distributed among the line items based on the base Value?
Please revert back asap.

system is distributes the header amount on the basic of value calculated by Basic X qty
e.g.
header value =100
two line item
1 is with Rs 4/- and qty is 10
2 is with Rs 10/- and qty is 15
so distribution is
Rs 21.05/- for 1st item
and
Rs 78.94/- for 2ed item

Condition Based Downpayment

Dear All,
We are using ECC 6.0 EHP5.0 with single instance worldwide, one controlling area, one global chart of account and one fiscal year for all company codes in SAP and for each company code we have 1:1 mapping to sales organization.
We are in process of implementing "Condition based Down payment" with conjunction with a billing Plan but the billing plans is not including any down payment items .
We followed the SAP best practices guide to setup the condition types and pricing procedure per the guide

We followed the following process:
1. Created a regular Sales order with 2 items with a total value of say 5,000 GBP and entered a value for condition AZWA in the sales order header for 1,000 GBP
2. Entered a down payment for that amount (1,000 GBP) using t-code (F-29). In F-29 we entered the special G/L indicator = A (downpayment) and tried to reference the sales order number. However, the system gave error message u201CMessage no. V1125 - Enter the item numberu201D so we were forced to enter the payment at the line item level.
3. Created the invoice for this item and received the expected value in the AZWB pricing condition but the accounting document did NOT settle the down-payment amount per the value in AZWB.
We have the following questions:
1. How can we make the F-29 payment using only the sales order number (i.e. at the header levelu2026without the line item)? The SAP Help implies that this is possible. (http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/EN/dd/560e4b545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm) in the Down Payment Processing (Basis: Document Condition) section under u2018Incoming Paymentsu2019 it says u2018The system summarily posts the payment to the sales order number, not item-specificallyu2019. It then also says u2018Aside from this it is possible to post the incoming payment directly in the financial accounting (transaction F-29). The important thing here is that the financial accounting item contains a reference to the sales order number. It is also possible to post item-specific down payments.u2019
2. During Final Billing, how and we get the accounting document to settle the down-payment amount per the value in condition type AZWB. In the billing-plan process, the final billing settles the downpayment. We want the condition based final billing to act in a similar way and do not want to have to perform a manual downpayment settlement separately (via F-39).

Hi,
In the billing plan Billing rule should be maintained as "4" or "5" which indicates that line is down payment. Assign down payment request for this Billing plan item.
What is the billing document type you have used for the invoicing?
Check if Billing category is "P = Down payment request"
When a down payment request is created it will process only dowm payments.
In F-29 system will process only those docuements which are identified as Down payment request.

Do you know how to learn? I don't think you do. Because we've all learned the same way. From school. The broken school system that we all know, and that some are reinventing.
Let's elaborate. When learning anything (that isn't invisible), we don't need to know awkward, confusing, and strange words. That do not mean anything, in and of itself.
~ Hard Words ~
What I mean by the invisible? Take 1+1. That's arithmetic, a branch of mathematics. That's invisible. We don't know what 1 is. What don't know what 1 means. It's just a line that goes up and down on the right wall in a cave of a caveman's drawing.
Until, of course, some inventive educators (not necessarily the traditional concept of "teachers") decides upon themselves, and say, "Hey let's show what 1 means. These 1st graders doesn't understand what 1 means. Here's 1 apple, and here's another apple. 1+1. We've shown it. Then we're golden.
That's what seems to be invisible, but is not. Is it? Of course the idea is invisible. 1 does not designate 1 apple. Clearly 1, as a concept/idea, is invisible. 1 is "1 of a unit". But a unit could be anything. How do you really define a unit? Not all units are physical objects. And if they aren't physical, you cannot show it, on a physical level.
So, that's a little bit about what I mean by the invisible.
~ Love, as invisible ~
You can show love to someone. You can hug them. But you can still show things, in a physical way, when the idea/thing, love, is still invisible. Love is an emotion. Emotions are invisible. You can draw it, and symbolise an emotion. But is never truly what the emotion IS. You can show something invisible by representation. As a concept, the idea is still invisible.
How do you explain things that are invisible to someone? Like love. Really? I've no idea. I'm sure someone far smarter and knowledgeable would though.
The emotion is in the neuroscience of our "mind". So until neuroscience, as a scholarly field, advances where they can show in the brain via an MR or whatever machine/device they use. Then they can show emotions. Or maybe they cannot, and emotions are more complicated than that. And they would need to explain how an emotion like love works via no more than mere words.
I'm sure there's a more academic word for the "the invisible", in this linguistic sense. Not sure what field of study, or more likely, what fields of study, this would be categorised under. Categorised wrongly, obviously, as that's how all categories/genres are.
But I'll run across it one day.

But teachers are basing their teaching on the textbook, and little to none from their own base of knowledge, and any of that base of knowledge would've been from textbooks anyway.

So we live in this world where we now have video. But so much of society is outdated. With outdated practises.
I hate words when we don't need them When there is better mediums to communicate 100x more effectively than words ever could.
You fail to see how significant 100x really is. How many orders of a magnitude is that anyway? I don't know. I don't know enough.
You also fail to see how much of what was said is about invisible, highly abstract, things/ideas. And some things aren't. So which ones were the things I could've shown far better in video, or maybe everything could've expressed better on video?

Pricing condition based on a $ value

Hello,
We have a uniqure requirement in the Pricing for a Sales Order.
We have a sales price condition PBXX maintained and it populates automatically during sales Order creation.
Now what we want is if the total of all the conditions is less then 5000$ at the header level then the system should populate another condition with a $ value on it.
So basically we want another condition (with a fix $$ amount that we will maintain) to come up in the sales order when the header value of that order is less then 5000$.
Any Ideas?

i read again what you wrote,
lets make it simple :
A) you have 1 header condition that works in he sales order : PBXX - maintain a value in vk12 .
B) create another header condition : Z005 - and maintain a value in vk12 .
( its possible to maintain a value for header conditions )
C) now you want to activate the second condition (Z005 ) if the sum of all the conditions
     is greater than 5000 ,
2 options :
1. hard coded - go to transaction VOFM-REQUIRMENTS-create new formula :
      and add the next lines to the routine :
       FORM "XYZ" ( the name is generated by the system ) :
      check 1 = 2.
      if komp-netwer > 50000
      check 1 = 1.
      end if .
2. by " value scale " - define Z005 condition as a value scale.
go to transaction vs01 and define the following intervals :
0 - 5000 USD
5000 - 9999,9999      USD
go to transaction vk12 and assign your surchage :
    0 - 5000                      -
> assign value 0
    5000 - 9999,9999         -
> assign the value you want to be activate

Need to change the LOV field based on checked box selection in OAF page

I have a requirement as below:
I have a custom OAF page having a lov field which is mandatory, a check box and a two text fields.
So based on LOV value selection i am defaulting two text field value automatically.
So my requirement is when user selects the check box automatically the LOV field should be non mandatory and user can insert in values to the lov field and text field and submit it.
SO basically based on check box field selection i need to make the lov field in such a way it should accept all the values what user enters instead of check the query added in VO behind the LOV.
Please suggest me some pointers to achieve this requirement.

I don't think you understand: I want to open Dreamweaver and build a brand new site, then when I am done I want to host the dreamweaver site on the Business Catalyst platform. I dont want to use anything in BC to build the site, I just want to use the hosting platform. I do not want to import a BC site into dreamweaver or anything like that. I just want to use BC the same way I would use godaddy, or uhost or any other hosting provider. Based on your response you said that "of course its possible to build a BC site in Dreamweaver" I dont want to build a BC site, I want to build a Dreamweaver site and host it on the BC platform. Like I said before it doesnt seem like this is possible. As of now we can only build a new site in MUSE and integrate it into BC without using a BC template. Can you understand what I am saying. I DONT WANT TO USE A BC TEMPLATE, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH BC WHILE I AM BUILDING THE SITE WITH DREAMWEAVER, JUST LIKE MUSE DOES.

Passing the column name on Where condition based on input parameter

Table Name : Codes
Columns( ID, Level0, Level1,Level2)
View Name : SampleView
I have a scenario : A parameter will be passed to my view from C# application. I need to cut the last 4 places of the parameter and need to check 4 conditions as follows :
1. IF last 4 places of parameter contains the value as "AMPD" then pass level0 column on where condition.
Sample code : A123XPAMPD
Expeted Result: Select * from Codes where Level0 ='A123XPAMPD'
2. IF last 4 places of parameter contains the value as "Alpha numeric" then pass level1 column on where condition.
Sample code : A123XPAA00
Expeted Result: Select * from Codes where Level1 ='A123XPAA00'
3. IF last 4 places of parameter contains the value as 0000 then pass level1 column on where condition.
Sample code : A123XP0000
Expeted Result: Select * from Codes where Level1 ='A123XP0000'
4. IF last 4 places of parameter contains the value as (cannot be all 0's) and cannot contain "Alphabets" then pass level2 column on where condition.

OS X viruses do not exist, but intentionally malicious or poorly written code, created by either nefarious or inept individuals, is nothing new.
Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.
If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.
Summary: Use common sense and caution when you use your Mac, just like you would in any social context. There is no product, utility, or magic talisman that can protect you from all the evils of mankind.

I want to make a new site in dreamweaver and host it on business cstalyst

I want to make a NEW site in Dreamweaver CC and host it on the Business Catalyst platform.But it seems the only way to use dreamweaver in business Catalyst is to import a BC template into Dreamweaver then upload it to BC. I want to create an original site and use the BC platform, is that possible? This seems like it should be simple and automatic, even encouraged. But as of now the only way to create an original site is to use Adobe Muse. Which is weird, seems like Adobe missed this one somewhere...

I don't think you understand: I want to open Dreamweaver and build a brand new site, then when I am done I want to host the dreamweaver site on the Business Catalyst platform. I dont want to use anything in BC to build the site, I just want to use the hosting platform. I do not want to import a BC site into dreamweaver or anything like that. I just want to use BC the same way I would use godaddy, or uhost or any other hosting provider. Based on your response you said that "of course its possible to build a BC site in Dreamweaver" I dont want to build a BC site, I want to build a Dreamweaver site and host it on the BC platform. Like I said before it doesnt seem like this is possible. As of now we can only build a new site in MUSE and integrate it into BC without using a BC template. Can you understand what I am saying. I DONT WANT TO USE A BC TEMPLATE, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH BC WHILE I AM BUILDING THE SITE WITH DREAMWEAVER, JUST LIKE MUSE DOES.
