Hibernate problem..... using projection and conjunction together..

hi all ,
can we use projection and conjunction together??
i want to execute a query like this..
select column_1 , column_2 from table_name where column_1 like '%a' ;

hi ian
you could also try verifying if the jar libraries containing your Document and Paragraph classes are defined in your class path OR if you are using an IDE, did you include that under your LIbraries?
The previous suggestion below also is a stop-gap to the library inclusion problem.
Hope that helps

  • Problem using SYN and STEM together

    Does anyone know how I can use both the STEM ($) and SYN methods together in the same contains function. The following 2 statements work individually
    CONTAINS(prod.s_desc, '$green,$paper,$glue',0) > 0
    CONTAINS(prod.s_desc, 'SYN(green,mythes),SYN(paper,mythes),SYN(glue,mythes)' > 0
    but when I try to put them togehter like this
    CONTAINS(prod.s_desc, '$SYN(green,mythes),$SYN(paper,mythes),$SYN(glue,mythes)' > 0
    it seems that the SYN no longer works, but the STEM does.
    Anybody have any ideas.

    SELECT 'SELECT ' || DISTINCT COLUMN || ' FROM DUAL UNION ALL '
    FROM TABLE;Whenever you have a problem, please post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statments for a little sample data, and the results you want from that data.
    The example you posted has so many mistakes, it's hard to know what you're trying to do.
    COLUMN, DISTINCT and TABLE are all Oracle keywords, and shouldn't be used for actual columnor table names, and using them for aliases is just asking for trouble.
    When using SELECT DISTINCT, the keyword DISTINCT must come immediately after SELECT.
    If you want to assign an alias to a column, it must be at the very end of the expression that defines the column. You can't assign an alias to part of an expression. If you want to do that, use a sub-query.
    Here's a query that uses both SELECT DISTINCT and ||:
    SELECT DISTINCT
            job || deptno    AS jd
    FROM    scott.emp;Edited by: Frank Kulash on May 13, 2011 2:52 PM

  • Using Airport And Ethernet Together

    Having read Christopher Breen's solution to using Airport and Ethernet together,
    http://www.macworld.com/weblogs/mac911/2006/10/airportswitch/index.php
    I am still wondering if this can apply to my situation. I have an Airport Exteme BS distributing the wireless signal on it's own node. Nothing is physically connected to the BS except an ethernet cable running to a hub which is connected to the cable modem. While my ISP service isn't supplying service faster than Airport will manage, no problem...but, I would like to have the advantage ethernet networking between my machines for all the advantages that ethernet speed can bring to that situation.
    My connection to the internet is from WAN from the cable modem. I have an ethernet connection from the BS that I can run a cable back to say, an iBook. Will this work? I want wireless internet, but ethernet for machine to machine networking.

    iBook G3/500 G4/Dual 450 Mac OS X (10.4)
    iBook G3/500 G4/Dual 450 Mac OS X (10.4)

    Helpful response, but I am uncertain this is what I am after. First, the hub is at the other end of the house, inconvenient to run a cable to it in this way. Presently, "Distribute IP Addresses" is turned off. This is way it had to be set since the AEBS is on a separate node. I just wonder why I can't run a cable from the AEBS LAN port back to the iBook. Looking for best possible speed when networking from my studio G4 while keeping the wireless internet setting.
    Any reason making the config the way I am imagining will not work?

  • Problems using projects created in older versions of iMovie

    I have a few projects created in older versions of iMovie, as far back as version 2 as well as more recent versions. Most of those projects are finished and I want to burn them to DVD again, but a couple of them could bear a little touch up editing. These projects are precious movies of our kids and hard to replace. Although I could probably find the original video, I put many hours of work into creating these projects.
    In any case, when I open up an old project, I get a warning that goes something like this: "The project was saved with an older version of iMovie. Opening it in this version will cause it to be upgraded, which will make it unreadable by older versions. Are you sure you want to open it?"
    I clicked okay, thinking "sure, I don't need to play it in an older version. I have iMovie HD."
    However, now when I play my old iMovie project, there are a few problems. For example, one original movie's title was over black. When I play the movie, I get a completely white screen and no title. Also, in another movie, when viewing the movie in full screen, the transitions were replaced by a black screen (although the transitions were there when I viewed the movie in the iMovie window). Basically, there are problems cropping up here and there.
    I need to do some more experimenting with all this to more fully understand how many problems there are. I don't know if the projects I opened in iMovie HD are now "broken" since I "upgraded" them with iMovie HD (when prompted to save the project's changes when quitting, I said NO, don't save changes).
    I don't know if I should use older versions of iMovie to view and burn to DVD these projects. (I still have iMovie 2 and 3, but not 4 or 5. I don't know if older versions would even work on my Quad G5 with OS 10.4.7.) I also don't know if the older versions of iMovie would work with the current version of iDVD. How can I tell which version of iMovie was originally used for a given project? How can I find iMovie 4 or 5 if I need it?
    I also wonder if projects I make with iMovie HD can be opened by future versions of iMovie, or if I should export them as Quicktime or something to be safe.
    As I start to look into this further, I would appreciate any comments, suggestions, and experiences that you may be able to offer. I need to get these movies back to their former selves, when they looked good!

    (when prompted to save the project's changes when
    quitting, I said NO, don't save changes).
    Excellent! That should leave you in pretty good shape. More below.
    I don't know if I should use older versions of iMovie
    to view and burn to DVD these projects. (I still have
    iMovie 2 and 3, but not 4 or 5. I don't know if older
    versions would even work on my Quad G5 with OS
    10.4.7.)
    The old versions of iMovie will run just fine in today's OSX. (But not iMovie 2 if it was the version that ran in Classic instead of Mac OSX.)
    I run versions 2,3,4,5 and 6 today. Problems are minimal.
    I also don't know if the older versions of
    iMovie would work with the current version of iDVD.
    That's not a problem unless your old iMovie projects contain chapters. If you tell iMovie 3 to create a new iDVD project, it might not work. You might not be able to transfer the chapter information to the newer version of iDVD.
    (I just tested iMovie 3 to iDVD 6 and everything worked just fine.)
    Except for iMovie 2, all old versions of iMovie stored a small QuickTime reference movie in the project folder. If you can't get an old version of iMovie to play nice with iDVD, drag that movie into the iDVD window.
    How can I tell which version of iMovie was originally
    used for a given project?
    Drop the project file (discussed below) onto the TextEdit icon in the Dock. The version of iMovie that last saved the project is shown in the first few lines of the project file.
    iMovie 5 used an entirely different project file format, the pList format. The top of the project file will look like this in TextEdit:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    How can I find iMovie 4 or
    5 if I need it?
    eBay?
    I also wonder if projects I make with iMovie HD can
    be opened by future versions of iMovie, or if I
    should export them as Quicktime or something to be
    safe.
    We can never assume any new version of iMovie will be able to understand all features of a older project. It's always smart to make a backup.
    There can be problems Apple can't anticipate. There may be third-party software used to create titles, transitions and special effects, plug-ins not installed with the new version or (more often, incompatible). The fonts installed on our Mac may have changed too. There's lots of features that can't be anticipated. I've never had a problem converting projects, but I never use third-party add-ons and special fonts.
    As I start to look into this further, I would
    appreciate any comments, suggestions, and experiences
    that you may be able to offer. I need to get these
    movies back to their former selves, when they looked
    good!
    My guess is it should be possible to restore the projects back to their original state.
    Note that when imovie 5/6 converts an older project, it does NOT create a true iMovie HD project. Instead of creating an iMovie package, it retains the project FOLDER format. It places new iMovie HD elements inside the old project folder instead of converting it to a package.
    When converting the project it changes the old project file name to "Sample Project Name.iMovie2Project", then creates a NEW project file with the plist format, having the name "Sample Project Name.iMovieProj". (There may NOT be the .iMovieProj extension.) When you save the new project, it adds a new project file "Sample Project Name.~iMovieProj". Note the tilde. The tilde file is a backup of the project file as it was when last saved in iMovie HD.
    For our purposes, ignore the iMovie HD project files. We'll use the file ".iMovie2Project" to restore the project. (The extension is the same for all old versions of iMovie, not just iMovie 2.)
    • In the Finder, Duplicate the entire project folder. Work on the copy.
    • Open the project folder in the Finder.
    • Discard the "Cache" folder, the "Shared Movies" folder, the "Audio Waveforms" folder and the two iMovie HD project files. (Some of those items may not yet exist yet because you didn't save the converted project.)
    • Drop the "Sample Project Name.iMovie2Project" file onto the TextEdit icon in the Dock to get the version. Close it.
    • Remove the ".iMovie2Project" extension, if you want.
    • Launch that version of iMovie. Drop the "Sample Project Name.iMovie2Project" file icon on the iMovie icon in the Dock. With luck, the project should open normally. It's possible any third-party plug-ins used to create the project may not be available. If they aren't available, there might still be problems.
    • Move your unconverted projects to folders that say which version of iMovie created them. To open them in the future, drop the project icon on the appropriate version of iMovie.
    If all this fails, there is another way to do the editing you want. That is to import the project.mov file that's inside the converted project folder to a new iMovie HD project. That will deliver the video and audio of the original project as a single clip. Use that to re-edit the project. The name of the movie is "Sample Project Name.mov".
    (The movie is a QuickTime reference movie, with no video and audio of its own, just pointers to the files in the Media folder. So long as the Media folder hasn't changed, it can play the original project as last saved.)
    Importing the project.mov won't work with iMovie 2 projects, however, for iMovie 2 didn't store a project.mov file in the project folder.
    Even if you end up importing the project.mov, you still may want to "unconvert" the project as described above.
    Hope I haven't skipped a step. Let me know if you bump your head on something.

  • Problem using jstl and displaytags

    Hi all,
    I am using display tags taglib for generation of table. One of the columns has to be shown with the hyperlink attached to it. In order to acheive this i am using jstl taglib together with displaytags
    <display:table name="reportList" id="row" requestURI="viewengagementstatus.do" style="width: 100%;">
    <display:column  title="Period"  sortable="true" style="text-align:  center;" >
    <a href="/jsps/reportsummary.do?eid=<c:out value="${row.eid}" />&reportId=<c:out value="${row.ReportID}" />&reportPeriod=<c:out value="${row.targetDate}"/> " target="_blank"><font size="1"><c:out value="${row.targetDate}"/></font></a>
    </display:column>I am using jstl1.1.2.jar for jstl.
    When i run this on Weblogic10 and windows OS i am able to view the results. On performing the view source on the IE window, i get the following:
    <td style="text-align:  center;">
                   <a href="/jsps/reportsummary.do?eid=78004&reportId=104093&reportPeriod=Nov-2008 " target="_blank"><font size="1">Nov-2008</font></a>
    </td>but when the same code is run on the Weblogic deployed on the Linux machine, i am not getting the links and the name:
    the view-source of the application deployed on the linux machine shows:
    td style="text-align:  center;">
                   <a href="/jsps/reportsummary.do?eid=&reportId=&reportPeriod=" target="_blank"><font size="1"></font></a>
    </td>Any Ideas why this is occuring?
    Any help would be appreciated

    You should be using the one or the other, not both. Since your actual code shows that you don't need the jstl/core_rt taglib (you're using the JSP EL ${ } in JSTL tags rather than scriptlets <%= %> ), just remove that taglib declaration and continue using the jstl/core taglib.
    You should also rather place both the JSTL and standard JAR in the classpath of the application server. In case of Tomcat, put it in its /lib directory. Then remove all unnecessary JSTL and Standard JAR and TLD files from your whole webapplication project and also remove any related entries from the web.xml of your webapplication project. To use JSTL you only need to put the JAR files in the classpath of the application server and define the taglib in your JSP. Nothing less and nothing more. If you're using JSTL 1.2 rather than JSTL 1.1, then you need to remove the standard.jar file too since it is already merged in the jstl-1.2.jar file.
    Oh, the web.xml should also be declared that way that the application server uses at least servlet 2.4.

  • Using Struts and JSTL together

    I have
    <html:form action="xy.do">
    <c:set var="name" value="shalik"/>
    <html:text property="name" value="<c:out value="${name}"/>"/>
    </html:form>
    How could I put data stored in ${name} to show in the text
    Also, is there a shorter way to access java variables using jstl core
    I would not want to do
    <input type="text" name="name" value="<c:out value="${name}"/>"/>
    which works, because I have to use struts

    No you can't include tags as attributes to other tags.
    Yes, you can definitely use the Struts and JSTL together.
    If you want to use EL expressions with the struts tags, it depends on your server.
    If you have a JSP2.0 container (eg Tomcat 5) its no problem at all. You can use the EL expressions directly with the standard struts tags.
    For a JSP1.2 container, there are specifically written struts-el tags. They let you use EL expressions instead of <%= %> expressions
    <c:set var="name" value="shalik"/>
    <html:text property="name" value="${name}"/>The struts-el tags only have a subset of the struts tags. It is intended for use with the JSTL. For instance the c:if tag easily replaces a lot of the logic conditional ones (equal, lessThan, etc etc)
    The tags are available as part of the standard struts download in the contrib directory.
    However for what you seem to be wanting to do, wouldn't it be more struts-like to have an action that specifically populates the action form, and just have
    <html:text property="name"/>
    The value would then be automagically populated from the form bean.
    Hope this helps,

  • Using bluetooth and airplay together.

    It appears from documents in Support that you have to disable BT to use Airplay. I'm hoping someone here can give me an explaination or even a work around . I have the 4S, and just bought AppleTV. I was hoping to stream some workout videos to the AppleTV via Airplay and use BT earphones, so I wouldn't disturb the wife. Seems like BT and Airplay would be a logical pairing (so to speak). This is greatly disappointing. I have no problems using BT or Airplay on their own...just not together.....
    Thanks

    Lets try to break it down.
    You are Using Airplay from an iPhone4s to an Apple Tv. In essence you are sending both video and audio to the Apple Tv. Which means the iPhone has no audio playing.  Since there is no audio playing on the iPhone, there is nothing that can be sent to the BT Earphones.
    Basically what you are attempting to do is Airplay to 2 devices simultaneously: Airplay Audio to the headphones via BT, and Airplay video to the Apple Tv via Wifi.
    This unfortunately cannot be done.
    This is in fact completely unrelated to the cutting out of BT with a car stereo.  However, if there is something fundamentally wrong with the iPhone 6's bluetooth it may be a good idea to take it into an Apple store for Diagnostics.
    I can play music, and App audio (from a navi App) and then answer calls without the iPhone ever un-pairing with the car. 4 or 5 hour road trips, and the music plays, The navi instructions cut in when necessary, and all audio is cut when a call comes in.

  • Using swingworker and invokeLater together

    Hi all
    Anyone knows if there is an appropiate way to use the worker thread through SwingWorker and invokeLater together?
    It maybe sounds a bit weird but I have to launch a thread from EDT with invokeLater utility, otherwise i'd get a block state between EDT and my own thread. In other hand, I need to use SwingWorker utility for try to avoid the awful effect of loosing the visual desktop while transaction is proccesing.
    Obviously, if i use SwingWorker and inside doInBackGorund method, launch my thread with invokeLater it doesnt make any sense since the worker do its work in differents threads...

  • Question for using PXIe and USRP together

    Hello.
    I am very new at using USRP-2943R and PXIe-8135, 5652, 5601, 5622, 8374.
    Literally, I don't have any idea how to use above USRP and PXIe together.
    Now, I connected USRP-2943R to PXIe-8374 which is linked with PXIe-8135.
    I want to make QPSK example with theses equipments by using LABVIEW.
    But the problem is there is no manual how to use like that.(or I coun't find it yet. XD)
    Could someone give me any comment and manuals to use these equipments for making basic communication system?

  • Can I make a website with just using Photoshop and Flash together?

    I am new to web design and am working on a website. I have not purchased dreamweaver, but am familiar with it from school. I do have Adobe Flash and Photoshop extended. Can I just use the two programs Adobe Flash, and Photoshop extended to complete a website without having Dreamweaver or do I need Dreamweaver to make it work? Thank you for your responses.

    You can import photoshop files into a flash project and build a website that way.  Both Catalyst and Flash can output the markup necessary to make your flash website usable.  As a developer though I try to steer people away from entire flash websites since they wont be usable on Apple Mobile and Tablet Devices.  Youll need to read up on optimizing a flash sites SEO, this can only partially be done through flash.  A text editer may be required to create additional files for your website.  Good Luck!

  • Any problem using bseg and bkpf tables

    For fico details i using  bseg  and bkpf  tables.
    I noted that programming is very difficult because of these tables are cluster table.
    plz give me other tables
    if i using these tables any problem will come?

It contains transperant tables like BSIS, BSIK etc. For example to take vendor details usr the BSIK.If you use BSEG and BKPF it will take long time search. suppose your concern having lot of data means may be your server will get shutdown. So use only trasnperant tables like BSIS, BSIK etc.

    Incorrect.  BKPF is a transparent table and not a cluster table and you can use it just like any other transparent table.  BSEG is a cluster table but there is no problem selecting from it so long as you use the key of BUKRS, BELNR, GJAHR - unless you are selecting a very large amount of data, but then this can cause problems when selecting from any type of table.
    The advantage of using BSEG over the other FI line item tables such as BSIS and BSIK is that it holds all the lines of an FI document while the others will hold only a subset eg BSIK will only hold lines that contain a vendor reference and BSAS holds only cleared GL account lines.  Though you can only use it when you have the key.  If you need to search on vendor, you can use BSIK as a starting point, but since I usually need to get hold of all the lines on an FI document, I then have to select from BSEG anyway.

  • Using n and g together/ two networks

    Would appreciate any advice-- is my configuration right? Which wireless device has the problem?
    From 2004 until Nov 2009 used airport extreme (the dome, mid 2004) and airport express (late 2004) to extend one network; worked fine; seldom had dropouts/ covered entire area 2917 sq. feet plus outside.
    Nothing lasts forever; had to replace the airport express. Coverage was spotty using it with the old dome extreme, so replaced that with a new extreme. (upstairs:extreme/ downstairs express to extend network).
    Long story short: still did not have good coverage downstairs (upstairs was fine) so connected the old dome via ethernet to the express downstairs.
    Airport utility indicates that I have 3 wireless devices (true) and I have two networks--one (g) via the old airport extreme and one (n) via the new airport extreme. I set the express to join the new extreme (n), or maybe I did not adjust anything in configuration when I connected the old dome to the new express.
    Things work some of the time, but too often when downstairs (where the network from the old extreme is stronger) (the one connected to the new express via ethernet) I am supposedly connected, but I am not connected, i.e. can't get email, can't get to web pages.
    Most of the time to get it to work I have to turn the airport on and off a few times and then it's ok.
    So have I configured something that needs changing, or is this really an issue with the new extreme, which is the one connected to the cable modem?

    Until around a month ago had complete coverage in my living space/ up and downstairs, using an old airport extreme (2004) and older express (2004). Seldom had trouble. No drop outs. It was fast enough. Also had an older mac connected to the airport via ethernet.
    Genius bar said the old express is for sure done. Since the older extreme was still ok, bought a new express to have the same set up I used to have, but the coverage was not good.
    Then decided to dump the old extreme and have all new technology (n), so bought a new extreme.
    Yes this is dual band.
    Coverage still was not good downstairs so hooked up the old extreme via ethernet to the new express. (this is all downstairs) (cable modem and new extreme are upstairs).
    This results in two networks, where I assume the old extreme makes it a g network. On the other hand the old airport is a g and is connected to the new express which is n, so could that be the problem?
    Anyway, when this set up works it's great, but more and more it's a problem. I'm supposedly connected to the internet, the light is green, but I am not connected. I turn the airport off and then on and things work again, but not for long.
    Not sure where to go with this. I think my goal is to create a dual-band network with the combined airports, and yes my new airport extreme is a simultaneous dual-band, in that I bought it from the apple store just a couple of weeks ago.
    Any suggestions? I've reset the modem, I've done a lot of tweaks, think it's fixed, but then it keeps on happening.
    I'm one of those using a mac since 1985, have owned lots of macs, and I've never had anything so un-mac-like-- it's maddening. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    My original goal was to just use the new express and and new extreme and dump the old extreme completely, but coverage was not good downstairs. (before malfunction of original express used both and had complete coverage in my living space/ upstairs, downstairs. This was all old technology/ g network)
    Then tried a new express with the old extreme but that coverage was not good.
    Then bought a new extreme
