Hide a field of function module

hi
in my customized FM if i give the report id it will display the page number, date, system name ,report name, etc., in the header of the report
i just dont want the page number to get displayed in the header of the report how to hide the field from displaying

I think u can use the READ LINE <LINE NO>........statement along with
REPLACE........... statement to change the contents of the list output.
something like this:
read line 1 of page 1.
replace <> with SPACE into sy-lisel.
modify current line.

Error with field E_ENDEDATUM, function module PK_ENDDAT_AUS_START_PLUS_WORK

Well, i don´t know exactly were put this, but, here it is.
The estandard function module PK_ENDDAT_AUS_START_PLUS_WORKD has an error on his definition: due to the field E_ENDEDATUM has no type, when you test it on SE37, gets a dump error message.
Maybe using it directly in a program, may not happen (I didn´t tested it), but if you first need make tests, you CAN NOT!!
How notify this issue to SAP AG or to somebody of staff of programming???

you cannot test it in SE37. you have to write a small program to call this function and test it.
and the data type of the variable to be used with E_ENDEDATUM should be of type sy-datum or SCAL-DATE

Error with the FIELD CAT function module.

Hi folks,
This was the error message i had got from the FIELDCAT function module.
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_READ_SRC_LINE_TOO_LONG', was
     not caught in
    procedure "K_KKB_FIELDCAT_MERGE" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a
     RAISING clause.
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
    exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
    The reason for the exception is:
    There was an attempt to read program "/A1SSPC/ITP_SCH_REP" from the database.
    The READ REPORT statement allows you to copy a program text into an
    internal table. The occupied line length in the program text must not
    exceed the width of the internal table.
    The internal table "\FUNCTION=K_KKB_FIELDCAT_MERGE\DATA=???" is 72 characters
     wide. The program line is
    204 characters wide.

Call Pop-up screen with I/O fields form function module.

Hello experts,
I have a Zfunction module with input paramteres i_matnr, i_posnr and i_kwmeng.
My requirement is to call a pop-up screen with following fields.
Material - Inputbox for material (Read Only) " v_matnr
Item     - Inputbox for Item (Read Only)      " v_posnr
Quantity - Inputbox for Qty (Read Only)       " v_kwmwng
Price    - Inputbox for Qty (Change only)     " v_price
Submit button.
I created function ZSD_MAT_DATA.
Added statement CALL SCREEN 0005
In PBO_0005, (include Prog)
v_matnr = i_matnr
v_posnr = i_posnr
v_kwmeng = i_kwmeng
1. But it gives me error for not declaration i_matnr. What I am missing here?
2. Is there anything to make window as pop-up with some specific size?

else like same you can craete a new function accordind to your requirement.

Use of structure ICL_SFC_DI in function module ICL_CLAIM_DI

Hi.
We are using function module ICL_CLAIM_DI to create claims and we want to add data to some SFC fields, the function module has a structure called ICL_SFC_DI for creation of the fields.
In some of our SFC fields the answer is declared as a "Free Text" field, but i cant seem to find a field in the ICL_SFC_DI structure to fill in the free text?

The Free text of an SFC and a normal options, both share the same field :
Answer / BSFC_ANSWER / ICL_SFC_DI

PO requisition personalization Query_Want to hide Supplier field

My client requirement is to hide supplier field in the po requisition form because requstor would not view the list of suppliers names in the LOV.
I have tried to hide the SUPPLIER field but folder menu option is not active, without that i cannot hide the field.
Can any one advise me how to disable the supplier field using form personalization

Finally apply the changes and re-open the form.

I tried ST05 of SQL Trace but not showing complete picture and I heard through ST12 can do Function module trace to obtain table names. Can you kindly walk me through of how to Obtain table names for fields for Function Module Datasources through ST12 or any tcode in detail.

Hi Srinivas,
I suggest to first have a look at the SAP Help for Business Content DataSource. You might find information on the source tables here.
As a next step you can have a look in the coding of the Function Module or debug it. You have to look to statements like TABLES and SELECT.
As a last step (and maybe time-consuming) execute an SQL Trace using t/code ST05 during executing t/code RSA3 in the Source System.

Error with quantity field:Datasource Creation Using Function Module method

Problem with DATASOURCE Creation using Function Module method :
I have created a datasource ZSTANDARD_COST_PRICE using Function Module method . The datasource creation is successfull when I remove the quantity field from the Z table . If I dont remove the quantity field from my Z table it gives an error as "Units Field WAERS for field STPRS of datasource ZSTANDARD_COST_PRICE is hidden". I am not able to remove this error . Please someone guide.

Hi,
You should add it as one of the main fields as you have added other fields and not as the currency fields...that is..it should be part of the data source and you should be able to see it in RSO2...
Also if added as i said then it will come as new field in the data source...you can either let it be there...or hide it..
also if you want to populate it then you will have to write the code for this fields as well.

You can use transaction UCCHECK to examine a Unicode program set for syntax errors without having to set the program attribute "Unicode checks active" for every individual program. From the list of Unicode syntax errors, you can go directly to the affected programs and remove the errors. It is also possible to automatically create transport requests and set the Unicode program attribute for a program set.
Some application-specific checks, which draw your attention to program points that are not Unicode-compatible, are also integrated.
Selection of Objects:
The program objects can be selected according to object name, object type, author (TADIR), package, and original system. For the Unicode syntax check, only object types for which an independent syntax check can be carried out are appropriate. The following object types are possibilities:
PROG Report
CLAS Class
FUGR Function groups
FUGX Function group (with customer include, customer area)
FUGS Function group (with customer include, SAP area)
LDBA Logical Database
CNTX Context
TYPE Type pool
INTF Interface
Only Examine Programs with Non-Activated Unicode Flag
By default, the system only displays program objects that have not yet set the Unicode attribute. If you want to use UCCHECK to process program objects that have already set the attribute, you can deactivate this option.
Only Objects with TADIR Entry
By default, the system only displays program objects with a TADIR entry. If you want to examine programs that don't have a TADIR entry, for example locally generated programs without a package, you can deactivate this option.
Exclude Packages $*
By default, the system does not display program objects that are in a local, non-transportable package. If you want to examine programs that are in such a package, you can deactivate this option.
Also Display Modified SAP Objects
By default, SAP programs are not checked in customer systems. If you also want to check SAP programs that were modified in a customer system (see transaction SE95), you can activate this option.
Maximum Number of Programs:
To avoid timeouts or unexpectedly long waiting times, the maximum number of program objects is preset to 50. If you want to examine more objects, you must increase the maximum number or run a SAMT scan (general program set processing). The latter also has the advantage that the data is stored persistently. Proceed as follows:
- Call transaction SAMT
- Create task with program RSUNISCAN_FINAL, subroutine SAMT_SEARCH
For further information refer to documentation for transaction SAMT.
Displaying Points that Cannot Be Analyzed Statically
If you choose this option, you get an overview of the program points, where a static check for Unicode syntax errors is not possible. This can be the case if, for example, parameters or field symbols are not typed or you are accessing a field or structure with variable length/offset. At these points the system only tests at runtime whether the code is sufficient for the stricter Unicode tests. If possible, you should assign types to the variables used, otherwise you must check runtime behavior after the Unicode attribute has been set.
To be able to differentiate between your own and foreign code (for example when using standard includes or generated includes), there is a selection option for the includes to be displayed. By default, the system excludes the standard includes of the view maintenance LSVIM* from the display, because they cause a large number of messages that are not relevant for the Unicode conversion. It is recommended that you also exclude the generated function group-specific includes of the view maintenance (usually L<function group name>F00 and L<function group name>I00) from the display.
Similarly to the process in the extended syntax check, you can hide the warning using the pseudo comment ("#EC *).
Applikation-Specific Checks
These checks indicate program points that represent a public interface but are not Unicode-compatible. Under Unicode, the corresponding interfaces change according to the referenced documentation and must be adapted appropriately.
View Maintenance
Parts of the view maintenance generated in older releases are not Unicode-compatible. The relevant parts can be regenerated with a service report.
UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD
The function modules UPLOAD, DOWNLOAD or WS_UPLOAD and WS_DOWNLOAD are obsolete and cannot run under Unicode. Refer to the documentation for these modules to find out which routines serve as replacements.

i have a function module 'BP_JOBLOG_READ.when i execute this for a particular jobname,i will get some entries.again if i click those entries,i will get some fields with values.in that one field 'text' contains total credit amount(purely numeric).how to fetch this value into internal tabel and update into my internal table.very urgent.plz provide some coding.rewards wil b there for helpful sggestion.

What are the mandatory fields ?

VA05 is for list of sales order. But if you want to change pricing of material stocks go for follwoing fn module.
BAPI_SALESORDSTCK_PRICE_CHANGE
If you want other BAPI for sales related, just go to SE37, give BAPISALE and press F4, you will get all the BAPI fn modules.

Accessing all the fields of a function module in EWM

Hi All,
I have a requirement to prepare a report that pulls some fields of the Function module /SCWM/STOCK_INC_OUT_MON.
This Fuction module is in EWM.
I need result rows for multiple values(user inputs) of warehouse.
Cant we access individual fields from this FM without using the structure?
i need to pull the fields MATNR, NLPA PROC and GRDATE
for all the user entries in Wahrehouse code

Hi,
You can use the work area to capture the output of the function module and then use the data (fields) which ever you require.
The structure of the Work area (Data Types of the field) should be same as data types of output parameters of that Function Module.
